Tottenham are chasing James Maddison transfer. They have launched their first bid around 40 million pounds for him. However Leicester aren't keen on dropping down from 60 million pounds for now. There is a significant gap between two offers and it doesn't feel like this transfer can be completed easily.

Maddison still has one more year left to go on his current contract. I don't know how eager he is to continue to play in the English Premier League now. But I believe he absolutely belongs with the league. The Championship is quite below his level and it wouldn't affect his career positively either.

If he insists on leaving then maybe Leicester can be okay to drop down by a little more in the asking price.
But I think while his career is in a good stage for now Maddison should leave Leicester soon to join Spurs and if he doesn't then his name will start to fade away and then fade away because he is rarely seen in the EPL. We know that Leicester have been relegated this season and many of their players have left for other clubs and it would be a shame if Maddison still stayed. I think Spurs need to raise their bid a little more to say 50 million euros to be a little closer to Leicester's wishes and however Leicester right now also need funds to improve the financial condition of the club, so they won't make it difficult for Spurs to get Maddison.

I have come across with this news now. It looks like the source I looked into first wasn't telling the truth.  Grin  There is already an agreement for 40 million pounds and the deal is soon about to become official. This must be great news for Maddison and Tottenham both. Because Maddison won't have to compete in the Championship anymore.

For Tottenham it must be really nice to have an attacking midfielder. I mean he is going to be the only player whose main position is attacking midfield. Tottenham have been a team using various formations so I don't think Maddison would have any issue with having a place for himself in the lineup.

Besides he can play as a central midfielder and even on the left wing if there is need. Versatility is also a positive for both sides.

And i don't know this is true or not but the rumour is Kane has been reach an personal agreement with Kane and he is willing to play outside England and if first bid rejected by Tottenham then Bayern will not give up and in the near future they will offering second bid and will raises their offers and Tuchel is a big fans of Kane and why he really want Kane because Tuchel considers only Kane is suitable as the replacement of Lewandowski in Bayern
I do not expect that at the end of the agreement between Harry Kane and Bayern Munich it really happened, because from the beginning Harry Kane decided to remain in the Spurs row until retirement, but the decision could change so that this opened the way for Bayern Munich to seriously bring him to League, you can say the German League competition is quite difficult. Harry Kane has time to waste a lot of offers including clear Real Madrid rumors -clearly can make it comfortable. Do not let the same fate as that experienced Mane because it needs to be remembered at Bayern Munich, all players compete with each other so that they will not focus on encouraging the main striker to appear prominent. So in my opinion or not Harry Kane will experience the same phase as Mane.

According the report some media, Arsenal have submit bid offer 100 million euro for West Ham United to sign Declan Rice, its official bid from Arsenal for fighting race with Manchester City announced interest with West Ham United captain team Declan Race.  Looks excited with Arsenal bid offer 100 million euro and depend with Manchester City will bid above 100 million euro or back from fighting to sign Declan Rice.

Arsenal looks confident for reach deal agreement with Declan Rice and West Ham United due their bid offer 100 million euro, I don't sure Manchester City will give up because they have loss Gundogan and Declan Rice could be best option for replacing midfielder position empty in Manchester City.

Who will win for signing Declan Rice Arsenal or Manchester City?
The latest bid by Arsenal of €105m for Declan Rice is very reasonable though one of the condition and term of payment made by Arsenal was that the sign-on term  of payment will span five years, while West Ham is demanding for payment in 2025 with this last offer I think Declan Rice should proceed to negotiate for personal terms and medicals else Man City might come with a better offer and instant payment because the race to sign him had become very competitive, personally I prefer Declan Rice to sign for Arsenal to enable the club to be formidable next season having narrowly lost the EPL title to Man City.

I read some news about Manchester United willing to sell 13 players in order to fund the purchases of new ones.
Harry Maguire, Jadon Sancho, Fred and Anthony Martial to name a few. Erik Ten Hag wants to buy Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana. I guess that Davis De Gea would also leave United. Moises Caicedo from Brighton might sign with United soon. Adrien Rabiot from Juventus is currently negotiating. It's pretty cleat at this point that Harry Kane and Mason Mount won't sign with United.
I guess that Man United with start the next season with a brand new team.

I still don't know why Arsenal are wasting time with Rice, third bid and they're still waiting for Manchester City, to do what? Take permission because they're Champions?
Here

This whole transfer on Rice is just funny at the end he [RICE] might not play half of what he played at West Ham. If not for the Europe Conference League they won what would have made the man Rice this important to clubs like Manchester City and Arsenal?
I just feel is a waste of time, his performance was outstanding no doubt but I'd choose Thomas Partey over Rice. Is best to keep Partey in the Arsenal squad instead of having this false hope of getting Rice. And I'd ask, why are they delaying to let the man go since he wants to join Arsenal? Latest bid from Arsenal is now £100m plus adons of £5m, why hold this man till now?
Thomas Partey isn't really a good player, if he's good, Arteta wouldn't sign Jorginho from Chelsea, after Jorginho joined Arsenal, Arteta is prefer to let Jorginho play than Partey. But it seems Jorginho is not the best player in central midfielder, so Arteta looking to sign Rice even though the price is two times higher than most of their players.

West Ham is looking to earn more money, that's why they need to wait the next bid from Manchester City. I just feel Rice might want to join Manchester City over Arsenal, so it's win-win situation for both of Rice and West Ham.
It’s not about who’s best or who sits on the bench. Arteta has always wanted to work with a young squad. Towards the end of last season, Thomas Partey seemed tired and uninterested in some of their games and couple with the reoccurring injuries that’s made him missed some of their important games, I don’t think Arteta would want to go down the same route with Partey this season. He’s bent on bringing Declan Rice at all cost, that’s why you can see the urgency and dedication Arsenal are putting on this Declan Rice deal. They want him and I think they’ll get him at the end. He’s one of the youngest best defensive midfielder currently after Rodri. So I think Arteta will do everything to get him.

If this is for real nobody would have seen it coming!

Liverpool seems now to be the hottest candidate to sign Mbappe, but what the heck is going on? Klopp has been asked often times and he said that it would never ever be possible for Liverpool to bid for Mbappe. Never, he emphasized! Cheesy Now there are many sources that say Liverpool is about to pull the ultimate trigger. I can't believe it, but I would like it. Mbappe as the leader of a whole new project at Anfield Road. This would be amazing. it would be something different than Manchester City and Real Madrid. Even though Liverpool is huge, still nobody would have expected it. That makes it so interesting.

If this is proven to be true, Perez will be outraged and want to messed in his pants. That man truly wants Mbappe to join Real Madrid, and he's expressed it multiple times on social media, simply waiting for Mbappe to determine when he'll go so they can bid for him. This news has taken me by surprise as well. Mbappe joining Liverpool would be fantastic, but I’m yet to fathom the possibility of that happening now.

Playing in the most competitive league will allow him to prove his expertise while also proving to the world that he is good at what he has been recognized for all along. If this happens, it will be the most stunning transfer news ever. Let us see how this turns out in the long run.

I start to think that even the Liverpool rumor might be part of Mbappe's plan to make even more money and push the clubs to raise their offers. But up to which point is this serious business or when does it become ridiculous?

But I also need to say that we as the consumers of the news also like the drama and discuss it in forums like these, don't we? Smiley I am not complaining about what Mbappe is doing, I only think that sometimes it must feel unfair to hard working people when someone who already has half a billion can keep dictating the money he wants to earn as if he was playing a computer game.

Recently Bayern Munich are joining the race with Manchester United to gets Harry Kane and it says Bayern have already officially bid 70 millions to Kane and i think Bayern has one step ahead to Manchester United because they were dare to bid for Harry Kane and for Manchester United indeed lately they were linked to Harry Kane but they didn't bid for him and i think this make Kane probably will change his mind because Manchester United doesn't seems really serious to want him

Holy Smokes! Thomas Partey is a good player of course, my guess is you didn't even watch him play for Athletico Madrid, because this is a player that helped Athletico Madrid win the La Liga during his stay with that club. With Arsenal, he was the best single pivot, injuries were the cause of his absence, else they wouldn't have missed out on winning the Premier League.
Well, it could be that Jorginho, suits Mikel Arteta's style and positional plays to Thomas Partey. Your idea seems pretty cynical.

Declan Rice shouldn't look at all these bids, he should pick a side, where he'll have a full time playing and Arsenal is that side. Yeah everyone wants to work with Pep Guardiola. Also, the price valuation on him is insanely high.

Arsenal is not wasting time on the Declan Rice situation; the club has already made a second bid and is planning for a third after Manchester City's first bid was rejected.
Arsenal is now more confident in getting Declan Rice, which is why they are attempting to make the third bid more succinct in the hopes that it will be the final one as they will be able to agree on pricing conditions with West Ham United.

Rice is a player with good potential despite his age because he has more years to demonstrate his talent. There is no doubt that Thomas Partey is a superior player than Rice, but Partey's age is what prevented Arsenal from extending his contract.

Arsenal must buy a defensive midfielder, even if it is not Rice, because Xhaka has already left the club and Partey is expected to go as well. That is why Arsenal is interested in signing Rice.

I can hardly believe that Mbappe wants to join Liverpool, I think going to Real Madrid is the right choice and Perez also realizes that Mbappe is the best player in the world and it is very difficult to sign him, this is the same as before when Real Madrid struggled to recruit Cristiano Ronaldo but the difficult effort is worth it with the player's contribution, so is Mbappe at this time.

And if Mbappe's reason for wanting to play in the most competitive league is then choosing Liverpool was a big mistake, Liverpool last season slumped and this team wants to get up next season with various options and all possibilities, I really don't think that Mbappe will be willing to play for Liverpool and forget Real Madrid, it's almost impossible.

Competition for Declan Rice should see Arsenal again make an offer they have never made before and I think Mikel Arteta is willing to bet anything to land the holding midfielder from West Ham. A transfer fee of £100m plus £5m add-ons is an impossibility for any team to land a player who has so far not made a consistent contribution in several seasons.

Declan Rice's only achievement was helping West Ham win the conference league title and I think that's a normal thing for any player to get that, but if what Declan Rice wins is the champions league with that transfer fee I think it's really worth it. Now we are still waiting for an offer from Manchester City, whether they will try to beat Arsenal's offer or choose to withdraw from the competition and focus on finding other players in the summer, let's see.
The media has made Declan Rice look good, creating a perception that he is an exceptional player. He not that much worth though. Just wonder if Man City's bids are mainly intended to drive the price up?

If Declan Rice prioritizes regular playing time, I would like him make a move to Arsenal. At City, he'll be a member of the squad but, at Arsenal, he would have a guaranteed chance to be a key player and a starter. This clearly indicates that Arsenal would be the ideal destination for him. Though situation surrounding Rice's potential transfer is heating up, and we're enjoying this ongoing saga. Overall, a good way to increase his price.

If he goes to real madrid this season he might become the most expensive player in football history. I think mbappe is quite a big attraction in the transfer window because he is young and has quite good skills compared to the others. It's just that it will be difficult for other teams to spend quite a lot of money on this signing so there are other factors that a team interested in mbappe might look at in the winter transfer window.
For now, Mbappe has said that he will stay with PSG next season. However, it is possible that next season, Mbappe will change his mind and want to join another team.
Kylian Mbappe has complete control over his career; no one decides for him; he decides for himself, and he understands what is best for him. PSG are attempting to persuade him to sign a long-term contract with them, but the Frenchman is completely focused on his career and striving to improve his great performance at Parc des Princes. He seemed to be content where he is, staying at PSG for another season. I don't believe so; Mbappe is only waiting for the right moment to strike; he requires the UEFA Champions League, which PSG cannot provide.

Kylian Mbappe will always be the main conversation in every season because he still holds the record of the most expensive price offer although currently Haaland equals the market value. By the way, did you hear that Liverpool submitted an offer for Mbappe? I found 2 local media that published this news, reportedly Liverpool prepared 300 million to contract him, To be honest this surprised me because as far as I know Liverpool is not a loyal club in spending money so the offer of 300 million does not seem to make sense.

Yes, I saw it. From Mbappe's side, the math is clear: he has a guaranteed 150m from PSG next year if he stays + a year later he becomes a free agent and can get a signing bonus of, say, 100m from any club. Thus, now he is ready to change his status (a player with an expiring contract) only if it will be no less profitable than 250 million (150 from PSG and 100 from Real - well, or with some kind of discount from this amount, since he saves a year). It's just logical.
Yes, from the outside it looks like greed and impudence, but from a business point of view, this is 100% correct.

It depends... From a business point of view, yes it is 100% correct regarding the legitimacy of his requirements. But is it the right choice or course of action for his future career? This is where it becomes interesting because in reality we know that he doesn't want to stay, but he wants to leave and kick off his way to become a Real Madrid legend. Both clubs know that as well. If PSG does not move an inch from their position, will Mbappe really stick to the contract, take the money and let two more years of his career go up in dust? I am even skeptical now that I thought this through whether this would make sense from a business point of view over the whole course of his career plus the time after the career. If Michael Jordan stayed with some meaningless basketball club only because of money, he wouldn't be a multi-billionaire today. Mbappe should take into account more than just the money he can make within the next two years. An Mbappe in Real Madrid could become a world soccer player multiple times and that could increase his income manyfold for a long time.

From a sporting point of view, Mbappe has already buried some of his golden years in a Parisian swamp. As for finances, it is difficult to argue here - last year his contract seemed transcendental. Now this is no longer the case. What will happen next? I fully admit that due to the crisis, Europe will somehow be able to introduce a salary/budget cap on salaries, and in this case, his contract will again become significant and "historical" because no one can repeat it under the new conditions. There are many options and it is difficult to argue how to do better, so most players in this field play short-term strategies.
But I hope to see him at Real Madrid this summer.

I am not worried at all that clubs will find ways to circumvent salary caps. I don't know how precisely authorities would enforce salary cap rules, but couldn't clubs design payment plans similar to pension plans and stock up the base salary that way by delaying part of the payments into the future? If a real salary cap will be introduced, I would like to see in the subsequent years how those rules are enforced. Until there is no evidence of those rules to be enforced uncompromisingly, I don't trust those bold statements made by UEFA executives.

The fact that Modric decided to turn down an offer that size (assuming biggest ever means maybe like 200 million a year) was a stupid mistake. Think about it, Real already has a good young midfield right now, which means that Modric is less needed, and sure he is still good but he won't be getting that back again. So if he left, and played at SA league, Real would have still been fine, it is not like they need Modric to win otherwise they won't win situation. That is why if he accepted, both Real would have been fine, and he would have been rich.

I am not sure if he will get the same offer next season, there will probably some financial drop there. If it is a political reason, like cultural unfit situation, then I would understand, that's another thing than football reasons.
He might be 37 but still looks physically strong to carry on for further two years even at top competitions. This is a quality he has shown even for his national team and for Real Madrid, how he actualizes this baffles me so much because majority of the players around his age group will not be able to bear that much work burden that he carries at this stage of his career. I just don’t think he is ready yet to leave to Saudi Arabia just yet, tbh how many players do you think fancied the idea of playing for the Arab league a year ago? But after Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia, it suddenly became normal.
