Looks like FC Bayern won the fight against Manchester United for Min-Jae Kim.

According to Skysports Bayern is paying around 50kk € for the release clause from his current contract.
His yearly salary will be around 10-12kk €.
Manchester United offer a same bid like Bayern Munich do, but Manchester United choose to sign Mason Mount and Onana because Mount is a good player from Chelsea, Manchester United will not reject this good moment. De Gea will leave Manchester United too, so they must find a good goalkeeper to replace him.

It's not Manchester United not interested with Min Jae, but they're know their priority. However Bayern Munich is never stop to strengthen their defense, they already have Upamecano, De Ligt, Davies, Hernandez, Pavard and Cancelo.
Manchester united just needs a new owner.. and the Glaziers have purposely been stalling the Arabian buyers who seem more interested!! And this is looking like another season where they are going to spend less, but one or two players to keep there fans from lamenting and expect to be on top at the end of the season.. Its just Man U acting like Man u to me!!!

I have to admit, that i know almost nothing about Min Jae Kim and i think i have never seen him play over a full game so far, so i can not really tell yet if this would be a good transfer for Bayern Munich or not because 50 Million € is a serious amount of money. It makes sense though because Bayern will most likely lose 2 defenders at one this summer with Pavard and Hernandez.
It also makes sense that Kim is choosing Bayern over ManU. Bayern is just the way better Team in the last few years.

Real Madrid is assembling an outstanding team of players who will take over for Modric in the future years; they are young and eager to learn from the Croatia midfielder. Modric has the strength to play in league games for Los Blancos; it's not even an issue; the main idea is for the new young players to be able to handle pressures and perform to expectations; once you're at the Santiago Bernabeu, the fans and the club expect you to give your all in all games. Luka Modric is an experienced midfielder in the club, and he is crucial for the development of new players because he teaches them a lot during games.

It could be also the main reason why modric was still playing in the club even though his age is very old as a football player. he has only a few years remaining before he will be the same like ibra and pepe reina.
Madrid considers this as the best decision caused by tony kroos itself will not be enough to help another midfielder to be even better.
Modric and kroos have been experiencing playing in the los galacticos team once it was still having so many greatest players in the world. It's not a problem and modric can leave from madrid anytime as madrid was approving to give something special for him. Madrid is also thinking about he may chang his mind anytime. It's not a big loss for the club too.

The recent contract extension by madrid has been also proving if madrid is also having long term commitment with a good player that contributed a lot to the club.

Havertz is a done deal for Arsenal officially. Chelsea are still not in profit in this deal though considering how much money they spend on his transfer before - €80m. But at least they managed to prevent a huge loss for themselves. His market value has dropped significantly meanwhile and I would have never expected him to be signed for this much money honestly.

I wonder why Arsenal were okay to spend €75m in total for Havertz. Chelsea didn't make him play in his natural position mostly maybe. But we still don't know how beneficial he would be for Arsenal even though I wouldn't expect Arsenal to do the same as Chelsea.

Arsenal are about to spend a huge sum this summer considering Rice signing also. I hope Havertz and Rice both show a really impressive performance in the new season.
Arteta signing them means he knows what he wants from them. I’m seeing Arteta to  line them up alongside Martin Odegaard in midfield in a mouthwatering triumvirate. Chelsea didn’t really bring out the best in Havertz. Havertz is perhaps best as a No 10 but largely played as a central striker for Chelsea. From the way he played in Bayer Leverkusen, he is a good ball carrier and I think he will thrive in Arsenal’s dynamic and fluid possession-based style, making late runs into the penalty area to get goals and assists. If he’s deployed as a No 8, he will suit Arteta’s preferred 3-2-5 attacking shape, which is reminiscent of how he was at times used during his blistering spell at Bayer Leverkusen.

Real madrid has so many options for midfielder. Valverde could also become an alternative for those old players once they were not feeling good to play. Even liverpool has sent valverde a very big offer for him to leave from madrid and move to the liverpool.
Management is not trying to waste money by buying new players. It's learned a lot from what happened with barcelona at this moment by having so many debts.
Madrid must control its financial to avoid the same fate as barcelona.

I definitely agred that Real Madrid should be careful now and that they should not go for another big transfer in this summer. They have already bought Bellingham for more than 100 million € and they had very high debts already even before that. If they want to do another big transfer then they need to sell one or more players first in my opinion. It will be interesting to see what happens with Mbappe now when Real can not buy him now but Paris wants to sell him now.

Manchester United offered the same amount? I haven't heard about such thing. They had a chance to offer a bigger amount of money while Bayern Munich were waiting on Kim Min-jae's release clause to be activated. That could have made the Red Devils be advantageous in this race. But they didn't want to intervene at the end of the day.

Yeah de Gea's contract is running out by tomorrow. I was expecting the Red Devils to extend with him but they didn't want to. At least Onana can be another solid goalkeeper they would have after a great journey with de Gea for more than 10 years.  Smiley

Tottenham have just announced the signing of James Maddison from relegated Leicester City side for £40million. I remember when Maddison was valued by Leicester City for £100million, now they will be losing 60million and wishing they sold him at the initial time he had the full price tag and top teams were willing to make a deal. Nevertheless this is a good deal for Spurs because Maddison will add strength and improve their game next season.
The agreed transfer value is €40.00m and that's €20.00m lower than the market price of this player which is €60.00m, but of course Leicester City does not want to lose even more because the value of a player will also decrease when the performance of the club he defends is also bad, Leicester City's failure remains being in the English premier league is the reason Maddison's value is low, that's actually what could happen to Declan Rice if West Ham gets relegated because they got close to that zone some time before finally getting better and luckily for West Ham they can win the conference league so they can set a high price for Declan Rice because Arsenal acquired this player for a transfer fee of around €10.00m than the actual market value.
Maddison has only one year left on his contract and Leicester city evidently regard £40m as a fair price for their most consistent performer. There’s a risk of losing him for free if his contract expires and that alone must have been the sole reason why they accepted £40m plus add ons. Unlike Declan Rice where he’s 2 years left and he’s a bit younger than Maddison. He’s also Westham United team captain, and an integral part of the West ham United team.

Chelsea lost many of their players in the transfer market this season. and now their new coach must quickly assemble their squad and prepare to start the new season.
I think MU is more interested in getting Mason Mount. it was even rumored that Mason Mount himself wanted to move to MU. unfortunately when MU submitted 3 bids to Chelsea and all were rejected. but if Arsenal is involved in these negotiations, I think MU may have to step down.

They did lose a lot of players in the transfer market, but to me, it's like changing your wardrobe. When you have clothing that are no longer useful to you, you should get rid of them, and that's what Chelsea is doing right now. There are many extra players on the team who no longer contribute much to its success. They must get rid of the excess to make room for fresh signings, as the new coach's arrival has requested.

It's not a rumor, Mason Mount has stated publicly that he will not sign a contract extension and that he intends to leave the team. Despite knowing that he is worth the money, Manchester United is unwilling to pay the price tag on his head because he has expressed interest in signing with them. Arsenal will take Mount if Manchester United doesn't close this deal soon.
Chelsea's decision to let go of majority of their squad members this summer transfer window I think is deliberate act. The club has a new manager must have given the club's management some conditions before accepting to be the manager of the side which I think letting go of some members of the squad was part of the conditions.

Mauricio Pochettino wants to overhaul the Chelsea team and then start with his preferred players who'll play to his style. Chelsea is surely gonna be competitive again judging by Pochettino's approach

Thought he was going to Newcastle earlier before now, what changed? That's a great addition to the Spur team tbh.

Newcastle got Tonali I guess.
They're not that similar as players but both are midfielders and I guess that Howe decided he needed a controller more than another offensive-minded player.

I think both are good moves, from what I've seen of Tonali he'll fit really well in that team.

Modric shall play with less intensity right now. Even though he looks very strong but he will not able anymore to play football like when he was young.
Modric was only a short term choice for madrid rather than try to buy another player from the market.

His aging will be also impacting his blood vessel too.

The long-term role of Modric in the club will be interesting as I think they will try to keep him and provide him with another function later on. But it is not only about Modric being replaced in the short-term future, but also Kroos and this is a huge task for the club as the combination Modric-Kroos was one of the strongest in the history of this sport. Getting two players who can almost at the same time grow into the footsteps that these two left is difficult and will take time. We will only realize it once both of them are gone.

when every season ends this is an opportunity for every team to make overhauls to each player and including Chelsea who have had a new coach whose aim is to revive his strong performance after a bad season for Chelsea at that time. so it's not surprising that many players will be replaced with new ones because Chelsea may need players who really have talent and good contributions to the team.

maybe Mason Mount decided not to renew his contract with Chelsea for several reasons but this is just my speculation that Mason Mount prefers to leave Chelsea because of a new coach who is unlikely to be able to make Mason Mount comfortable with the strategy given because it takes a long time to can get to know the new coach better so decided to leave Chelsea and I think Man United really want it and it seems like they are trying but I don't see Arsenal's interest in taking Mason Mount.

It seems that they are trying to minimize expenses. They retained Kroos and Modric for a period of one year. It can wait for the funds to come back in. Anceloti has the opportunity to choose players. It seems that the management planned this to save costs. Although Modric and Kroos are getting old, they are still able to perform well. Moreover, plus Bellingham, he can learn from the two of them.
that makes sense. bellingham has been draining a lot of money owned by real madrid. Madrid is still having some capable midfielders but in my opinion if madrid wants modric to share his experience to the another player like bellingham.

Alternative players are definitely needed to make the team stronger. If any of the regulars currently playing for Manchester City are out of the field due to injury, it will be very difficult for them to win the match. Basically, if there are some players outside the regular eleven, they can support the team during the period when the regular players of the team are absent due to injury. In that case, Manchester City may have defense and midfielders on their list. Because I believe defending goals is better than scoring goals. Because if the defense and midfielders perform well and can supply the ball well then the forwards will do well. So right now if Manchester City can find an alternative defender or midfielder then their team will be a more balanced team.
Agreed, that's why it's better to get alternative player that can even priced 50% less or even more compared with rice. pep is always good in chasing talented player from the market. It sounds non sense if manchester city tried to get rice.
Manchester city is still having rodri which is even better to fulfill that position. It sounds non sense if city tried to keep war with arsenal to get him.
Finding alternative player to the rice is not a difficult task and city already had best one for now. The only problem if city doesn't have back up for rodri. I can't even agree if city targeting rice caused by he was over priced.
If people called rice which was winning conference league as world class player and what about rodri? he has been winning UCL with city even treble winners.

Good for Tottenham that they have managed to reach an agreement for Maddison for a price they would like. First Leicester looked obstinate about demanding much more money but it looks like Tottenham still managed to convince them. This is going to be a solid improvement to the midfield for Tottenham without doubt.

It is great news for Maddison as well otherwise he was going to play in the second league. This would really harm his reputation while he is a really talented midfielder. It looks like it is finally time for Maddison to shine brighter in the Premier League. Tottenham aren't one of the very successful teams of the league these days. But this is still not a hindrance for Maddison just as it hasn't been for Kane.
