After such a disappointing season Chelsea need a serious rebuild anyway, so buying a good coach is not enough, no wonder so many players are leaving the club. The real question is, who will be in their place now?

Yes it was a disappointing season for Chelsea football club and the rebuild has just commenced. Pochetino is a good coach, and he was signed after mutual agreement was reached, and i believe he can change Chelsea fortunes. Also, Chelsea are making excellent sales, they have a big squad and it is only normal to cut out and sell players who wants out or are excess.

It's too early to start praising Pochettino, not like his having an exceptional quality before he cam to,Chelsea, he was just a normal manager like ever others, he was lucky Chelsea were interested in him but I want to see how he is going to make some modifications in his squad and shows them they can do it indeed and not much dramas within the club, I want to see if they will bring a better replacement of Havertz.

Quote

The sale of Kante, Koulibaly, Harverts, Ziyech, Mendy and KOVACIC are excellent means for Chelsea to recoup fees and also offload their squad. The new coach gets to work with the new signings. remember chelsea signed up to 10 players in January

They have raise more than 110 million USD from the sale of this players, they can use it takes  get new Champs from smaller clubs at lower prices, Pochettino should never buy into hyped like the way they bring Enzo Fernandez to Chelsea after the hype and at the end of the day, it was low performance to the team.

Chelsea still have many players and even I can say over stock, last season Chelsea spent about $600 million in 2 transfer windows total brought 14 players so even though some players left this season I thought it wasn't a big problem they already have a replacement and of course it can reduce financial burden. Mauricio Pochettino as a new manager but not a newcomer to the Premier League, he has more than 5 years of experience while handling Spurs and Southampton so now Chelsea will focus more on efficiency. Indeed, Chelsea are currently only active in releasing a few players while not very active in bringing new players but we understand that Chelsea don't want to make the same mistakes as last season spent more money but the performance was not as expected.

Chelsea certainly has a good squad. And it is actually a little surprising, But Chelsea actually even has a very good bench in my opinion. With a few tweaks here and there they will be able to be one of the most strongest teams in the English Premier League. But the plan that they have been making so far are not good.

I am talking about the manager and his tactics. Tuchel was actually doing a decent job in my opinion. But Chelsea wanted to improve. Needless to say, that didn’t happen. I honestly believe if Chelsea does not do something very soon about that managerial job of their club, they will be in big trouble. Some players are also going to leave the team. They better get someone like Zidane or maybe even actually get Zidane.

REVEALED: Lionel Messi's parting words to Kylian Mbappe as he takes swipe at PSG following move to Inter Miami, and tells the French forward who he wants him to join next!

Lionel Messi reportedly told Kylian Mbappe he deserves 'a real winning project' in an apparent dig at PSG before joining Inter Miami, as intense speculation surrounds the French superstar's future.

The explosive revelation comes from Spanish outlet Defensa Central, who claim the Argentine confided to Mbappe his wish for him to join Barcelona instead of Real Madrid.

But Messi ultimately implored the 24-year-old to play for a club who will compete for the biggest trophies in European football.

What he (Lionel Messi) said/suggested is actually true… it's the bitter truth to the PSG owners and faithfuls. If Kylian Mnappe wants to win Big European trophies and personal accolades, his next destination should be Spain. PSG can dominate the French League for all they want, but they will never be a very big force in Europe for years like Real Madrid or Barcelona have been?

Mbappé was actually so stupid/greedy for money not to opt for Real Madrid last season. Real Madrid seems so reluctant this current transfer season. Maybe they are looking at next summer transfer season.

Maybe, Gundogan is well aware that in a short time his role will be replaced by a more energetic and younger player. plus, his contract with Manchester City ends this June. at 33, he has maturity in terms of choosing his future. that's why Gundohan prefers to leave City. after all, his departure from Manchester City had made a very good impression. in his last season, he was able with his teammates to win the Treble winner. so, it's not an unreasonable decision if in the end he wants to try to play in other competitions. the reason is, every player has a dream of playing for big clubs even though currently City is the team most feared by their opponents. but in fact, the image that City has did not stop his intention to decide to join Barcelona.
Some person might not have anticipated this move but like you said he could be that he feared he might be replaced by Pep very soon and the deal City has for him is just one year extension. Barca offered a better deal than City and he went for it. Gundogan will remain a club legend and he's leaving with his head up high. He has achieved so much with Manchester City and was also instrumental in their treble trophy glory. At 33, there is little time left for him to play football at the highest level and it's not a bad idea to try another league. Barcelona style of play will suit him and I hope he gets to win some silverwares with the catalans before he hangs his boot.

There are a couple of things at work why a lot of players are leaving the club. This is not only related to the failure of the 22/23 season, but also to some of them having those offers from Saudi Arabia and also the need for a complete overhaul of the team. They have been burning money through a chimney for a whole year and have nothing the can build upon or to start from. It was predictable that they will now once again have three times the incoming and outgoing transfers of any other team in the Premier League. But seriously if they restructure the whole team again and fail again, I would love to see their reaction after another awful season Cheesy

Real Madrid did not have a goal scoring problem last season, since Benzema has left there was a need to get a new striker. With long term goals, Mbappe is who they have always wanted, since he wants to move, waiting for him with Joselu is okay. In games where Joselu cannot score, players like Vini jr, Rodrygo and others can score.
Yep. You must remember when Benzema couldn't play, Real Madrid often got difficulty scoring goals. Real Madrid needs a striker that has a similar type as Benzema, a striker who has great accuracy in scoring and be active to create chances for scoring.

If you have been a long-time Madrid fan you should have understood for a long time what Peres wanted for the future of Madrid. Because so far Madrid is not in a hurry to buy, buy, and just buy. Keep in mind that compatibility is the main thing, it's useless to buy lots of players but in the end they don't match each other. Look at Chelsea who rush to buy here and there and when they find a mismatch in the end they can't solve the problem at hand. So I believe Perez is doing it very carefully and not recklessly just because the transfer window is still open.
Not in hurry??
Do you think Joselu is enough for Real Madrid striker?
Check again how many strikers Real Madrid has? After Benzema and Mariano Diaz left the club, Real Madrid has no strikers. So far, Real Madrid only signed Joselu, which means Real Madrid has 1 striker now. 1 striker isn't enough for the whole season, how if he gets injured? And what if Joselu can't play as expected? If you are a true football lover, you must understand this situation.

By the way, the situation isn't the same as Chelsea. Just look at the targetted players of Real Madrid (Mbappe, Harry Kane, Osimhen), the targeted players are proven enough in their current squad. Do you doubt Real Madrid scout?

Sure, Perez becomes more careful after some players with high prices failed to shine in Real Madrid. Hazard is one of the examples of an unsuccessful player in Real Madrid. But Ancelotti needs more strikers to compete for the titles. If Real Madrid relies on Joselu only as the main striker, I doubt Real Madrid can win any title in the next season. Sorry, it is my own perception.

Maybe you don't agree with Joselu recruitment, right? just because it doesn't mean Madrid is showing bad results? This is still the early stages of the transition, so you need to be very careful not to make a fatal decision. Florentino Perez has been monitoring Joselu for a long time and his progress will surely be monitored. Because of that Madrid dared to take it back. Even though Joselu's track record is not very good at Espanyol, because Joselu is a player from Madrid he will again show significant changes. Perez's hopes are indeed like that and hopefully, Joselu arrival will help the Madrid attack line a little, even though it is not 100% a suitable replacement for Benzema. Meanwhile, next year Mbappe is free without the need to incur large costs.
I never stated I disagree with Joselu. Check again my previous post carefully.
What I said was that Joselu isn't enough for Real Madrid stikers. Real Madrid needs 2 experienced strikers at least since they play in 3 major competitions (UCL, La Liga, Copa Del Rey). 1 striker isn't enough for the whole season. Moreover, Joselu isn't proven for competition like UCL.

Dude, are you really a Real Madrid fan?

Exodus of the 2020-21 CL winners squad commences  Shocked

Seriously, it's quite crazy, here's the list of all Chelsea players who have won the Champions League sold or are going to be sold:

And when you consider how even more of Chelsea players left last season, it goes on to show that Chelsea squad really does have a short turnaround.

The squad size is extremely large, so the club is getting rid of players who have less than a year left on their contracts and those who spend the majority of their time out injured. It appears that only James and Kepa will remain from the 2020 CL winning squad after the ongoing clearance.

It was long overdue; this is the best way to build another competitive team while staying within the FFP with our incomings after spending over €600 million last summer.

Am quite sure the new owner of the club is well aware that there previous campaign was nothing to cheer for and that they need serious cleansing in the club in order for them to battle it out for a good finish in their next season campaign, getting a good manager doesn't only cut it good player plus and good management that is what that club need at the moment.

This is currently the transfer list of Chelsea according to news. They are sending away so many players from the team and there are really nice players among them also. It looks like we are going to see a complete rebuild by Chelsea side this summer. Pochettino is about to join the team by the end of the month. So I guess he would start the transfer attempts according to the targets quickly.

There are already players started to come to Chelsea as of Nkunku's joining them. But there is going to be a really busy transfer window for Chelsea. They will need to fill the places of the players to leave above all else. They should focus on bringing really good talents here from now on to be more competitive next season.

The management style is going to be the biggest factor to determine that of course. I hope Pochettino signing becomes beneficial for Chelsea.

More and more players are making the switch to the competition in Saudi Arabia. A few top players have already gone there, I think that's the lead for more players to go there as well. It strikes me that after Ronaldo suddenly many more players are interested in playing the competition in this country. Nknate is also a big player and has already won a lot. Ziyech also a big name, but you can understand it better from him because unfortunately he doesn't get to play football at Chelsea. The majority of the top players will continue to play in Europe, where salaries are sometimes very high. But in terms of finances you can't compare anything with Saudi Arabia, which simply have much more money.

Honestly, Rice is a top player but in transfer market you have to be smart as well. Now that City has joined the race, it seems a bit difficult for Rice to come to Arsenal but even so if we don't get the player then go after another one on the list. There are plenty of defensive midfielders also and one of the names is Tielemans which we were interested in last time.
Youri Tielemans is no longer available, he left relegated Leicester City as a free agent and has signed for Aston Villa now, i don't really think Arsenal were interested in the Belgian, if they were, they would have approached him immediately Leicester City were relegated. Arsenal's top target remains Declan Rice, it is obviously more difficult for them to get their man now that City are in the picture, but it is still possible. Whilst i dont agree with West Ham's valuation of Rice, he is a top player who would improve any team that gets him.

Arsenal would have been a perfect destination for the 26-year-old Belgian midfielder but the Gunners didn't show much seriousness. They have had many discussions with the players since April but nothing came out of these meetings. Arsenal has the quality and will be in the UCL next season, this would have been an uncommon opportunity for the Belgian. But Aston Villa is a valuable alternative. Unai Emery's side will be playing in the  UEFA Europa Conference League play-offs after finishing seventh in the EPL. Youri Tielemans will be a quality addition to the club that will be having an eventful season next season. Leicester will keep losing players because stars like Soyuncu, Amartey, Mendy, Bertrand, Pérez, and Tetê are too good to play in the championship.

I think so because looking at his age, even though he is still quite competitive, of course he will not be too reliable considering that he is getting older and will have difficulty competing at Manchester City.
On the other hand, by looking at Barcelona's condition, which really needs a position there, it is also a good goal because he will not be preoccupied with a position in the main players because he has no rivals.
On the other hand, he still wants competition like that because if you look at Barcelona's financial condition, it is not the right choice, especially since there have been Arab clubs before who wanted his services at high prices, but in the end the choice was Barcelona.

Well, it is a free transfer. And everyone is certainly talking about this transfer. I think this is going to actually suit everyone. The player is getting old. Certainly not as reliable as he was before. But at the same time, he is not a bad player to have in the squad as a free transfer. So I don’t think Manchester City is going to have too many problems letting him go as a free transfer.

And at the same time, Barcelona will be really happy to get him for free. He could have gone to some Arab club. But that would have meant that he was not going to play football for the competitive integrity of the game. He would have gone there to get a huge amount of money, primarily. I also don’t think that Barcelona is going to have any problems regarding the playtime that he is going to get.

Gundogan filled the position left by the captain, namely Buesquets. Maybe Xavi will give him the captain's armband. Gundogan has the soul of a leader and is very suitable for Barcelona at this time.
It's good choice for Gundogan and Barcelona to sign such a experienced midfielder for Buesquets position, the best thing about him is that both has same taste of play which will really help him to took a strong position in starting XI soon.
They way he delivered in Dortmund and then in after Manchester City it's totally incredible, through Kevin and his efforts they get grip on a game and get his first ever UCL trophy. Currently Barcelona are out of experienced midfielder through his availability new young blood will learn alot...

Now Gundogan has officially become part of Barcelona and his departure will indirectly create a void in the attack line of The Citizens, yes I think it's true that with all the achievements that have been achieved by Manchester City maybe there are no more goals to achieve together Guardiola and choosing Barcelona, in my opinion, are quite right, especially since the challenge in La Liga will make him have new experiences. Gundogan seems to be the player that Xavi wants. however, Barcelona needs players who can control the ball in midfield. set how to plan attacks or have to hold the ball. Gundogan might be suitable for Barcelona's midfield and next season it is possible that Barcelona will appear stronger than last season.
Xavi prepares Barcelona well for next season, maybe there will be a few more names that Barcelona will introduce.

Barcelona gain more by getting him for free. Gundogan is an experienced player and he will really adapt to Barcelona style of play easily because he likes playing dominating game as a Spanish player, under a Spanish coach.

Manchester city don't want to keep any old players with a long contract, they want to invest in the future of the club, beside Gungogan has given them treble, so he is no more needed
Gundogan was a very important Ayer for Manchester City this just concluded season both in the English league and every other competition that they played. The treble win for him with Manchester City is the peak for him at the club and a move for a fresh challenge is good at this stage in his career. In Barcelona, he will be reunited with Lewandowski who rumours claim to have played a role in his move to Barcelona, Lewandoski and Gundogan have a good relationship and have played together before in Dortmund, this new arrival for him in Barcelona improves their midfield and with good interaction on the field between Lewandoski and Gundogan, Lewandoski may have an increased goal record.

Well apart from seeing it the way you say it , I also see it as a resource that now in Arabia they are highlighting , they want to raise their level of fútbol anyway, and that is why they are Targeting the best players, those players who are very good, but Due to European football mistakes they are no longer accepting them, Mesi style, CR7, Benzema, and more, in this order of ideas seeing that it is working to take them, they also have to increase the level of thought and strategy, that's why they point to Allegri, In addition, with those amounts of Money that they offer, it is quite Difficult to say no , Really each one has the power of Decision.

But they are targeting players who play for two or three years and then finish their career. That means they have to continuously offer these highly paid contracts to players who will never build a legacy, a long-following and relationship between the fans and the SPL. Messi was a global manget for the European soccer business and Ronaldo was as well. All those players are doing that because they play 10 to 15 years in Europe and create a high level of identification between themselves, the leagues and the fans around the world. There are countless of games that people will remember because it was built on history like the rivalry between Ronaldo and Messi. The answer will always be Barcelona vs. Madrid. How long would it take to make people say Al-Nassr vs. whatever Saudi club when Messi goes there in a few years? that is not going to happen. It also has a disadvantage because everyone knows why those players are going to the SPL. The Saudi fans also know it when they read 500 million per year for Messi. Now he decided to go to Inter Miami, but I am just saying to make my point here. The whole narrative isn't developing organically, but overloaded with money and short-lived liaisons between players, clubs and fans.

According to all this , things are very Fortifying when you only think that the strongest Fútbol is in Europe, and not in its National teams, but what else can Messi learn ?He's won the UCL he's Won many leagues , he's won the World Cup , so why not go to Inter in Milami to See if he can take things more calmly , it may be that everything Messi says is True , he's never been in France he felt Good, and he doesn't want him to have a bad time with another team now , the best thing is for him to Have a great time and perhaps for him the Best Thing is that he can go to a team and Play for fun and not so much for money , Besides Money is what Messi has Left over.

Gundogan has crucial contribution with Manchester City's achievement of winning treble winner this season from the FA Cup, Premier League to the Champions League title. But Manchester City have tried to defend him extend one until two years contract but Gundogan looks find new challenge and move to La Liga with Barcelona. Actually, Gundogan has an important role for Barcelona in the midfield position to replace the position left by Sergio Busquets who did not renew his contract with Barcelona.

Good reunion between Robert Lewandowski and Gundogan, both them played in Dortmund before Lewandowski joined Barcelona and Gundogan move to Manchester City.
