Pretty interesting development. FC Bayern wants to keep Joao Cancelo in its squad, but won't trigger the €70 million option to buy him.

Bayern will definitely not trigger João Cancelo's €70m option to buy. The club would sit down with Manchester City and try to negotiate a lower fee [@cfbayern]

Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1636008276314791937

As a Bayern fan, I obviously hope that the club can come to an agreement with Manchester City and sign Cancelo for a lower fee. However, ofc I understand that other clubs are also interested in a transfer and that it probably won't be an easy negotiation process. Let's see how it goes, maybe €50 million would be fair for both sides?

I wouldn't generalize it like that. English players also have a chance to prove themselves in La Liga. The examples you provided are actually true, no doubt about that and there are a couple of other players who also failed. But there are still good examples as well.

Though now that you mentioned it I had a look and it is surprising how few English players are playing in La Liga. But I think it is more common for them to stay in the Premier League as it is the best league in Europe anyway whereas there are a lot of Spanish players who go to the Premier League.

To be honest, there is no good example of English players played well in LaLiga. Of course everyone could prove himself to be the best footballer, but it's all about the culture and style played in each league. Bale perhaps the best example of a player who played amazing in both LaLiga and Premier League, but he is a Welsh.

Well it's a never ending debate about which league is the best in the world, which LaLiga team have much more achievements in Europe tournaments, while in the other side, Premier League have the biggest broadcast agreements that make them to be the most popular league. Based on the fact that there are many Spanish players playing in Premier League, it proves us that Spanish players can adapt and play well in any league. In otherwise, English players can play good only in Premier League, well, except Sancho, Bellingham, and Hargreaves in Bundesliga.

That's unnecessary transfer for Real Madrid since they have already brought Tchouameni and Camavinga into the team. Beside that, English players had a hard time playing in Real Madrid, like what we have seen on Woodgate and Owen when they were playing there. Instead Real Madrid should focus to bring new full backs and/or a center forward.
It's still a rumor and it has not confirmed yet. There was also a news that said that if madrid already targeted some players

Quote
According to Fichajes.net, Madrid will try to secure all three of their top targets for a combined fee in the range of €300m.

The report states they are comfortable with the asking price of Kvaratskhelia, which is said to be a minimum of €100m, while they expect Liverpool to rival them in a €150m chase for Bellingham.

Cancelo has a €70m (£61.5m) buy clause in his loan deal, which is said to be more palatable to Madrid than Bayern, as they view him as a long-term solution at right-back.
https://therealchamps.com/2023/03/14/real-madrid-140-million-transfer-offer/

The problem is why didn't madrid think to bring a new capable striker to the club? this must become a major concern for real madrid. Since benzema was only playing at the important match and madrid was not able to make perfect results with rodrygo as a striker.

Im not sure if napoli will be willing to let Kvaratskhelia leave from the club easily as this players have not even reached 1 season in the club.

Oh finally a good transfer rumour for Real Madrid! Kvaratskhelia is a good option to play alongside with Vinicius and Cancelo is what Real Madrid need the most. Especially the second name, his ability to play in two sides of full back position is the perfect choice and I hope Perez could bring him in, by taking advantage of the relationship between Cancelo and Pep that getting worse.

Yes true, as i remember how david beckham play in real madrid before, he look hard to adaption on spain atmosphere, it's different when he play on premeir league, he look relax and and play with ihe as he is. But I think both is enough capable to adaption, they just need to learn latin language to make them easy communication for each players

Ikr, it's not a secret that English players are so hard to learn a new language, so it makes them cant play well in league outside of their country. Beckham didn't play that bad actually but he showed good performance only in his last season in Bernabeu.

No reasonable footballer will make that mistake or take such an unnecessary risk.
It is even not upto one season  that you signed for a big club like City, the club accepted you wholeheartedly and gave you glory roles and yet you want to exit the club such a way.
I'll rather suggest we stop this Haaland transfer unrealistic rumours.
Haaland will not leave Man City, he said that a long time ago because of the history of his father growing up and growing up with Man City. And what Halaand wants is according to his father's wishes. Who doesn't know how Halaand's father was a historic player at Man City. Although at this time I also heard rumors about clubs that were interested in Haaland, it doesn't look like this will happen in the near future.

I don't think there is any concrete reason Guardiola asked the club to sell Haaland immediately, he has had a perfect first season off with lots of goals already scored for Manchester City. Haaland goals helped Manchester City win a lot, his playing style almost blends with Guardiola's concept. I don't think cases like Ibrahimovic at Barcelona will be repeated, Haaland has become one of Guardiola mainstay players in the Manchester City squad.

I don't think Guardiola will want the club to sell Haaland because he has been a major contributor to the team's success this season recording 28 goals in the league this season and has helped Manchester City win tough games by scoring a late winner on different occasions. I think Guardiola is satisfied with his performance so far and will want him to stay at the club.
This is Erling Haaland's first season and in his first season he has adapted very well and even scored more than 30 goals in all the competitions he has participated in with Manchester City, it would be very strange if Pep Guardiola wanted him to leave with the glorious form he had show this season. He is still very young and it is not easy to find a young player who has the abilities of Erling Haaland.
This is not even a matter of if Guardiola will allow Haaland go. It is more of a matter of if Haaland will agree to gamble his career by leaving Manchester City.
No reasonable footballer will make that mistake or take such an unnecessary risk.

Manchester City is not a team with a weak financial system and their superstar forward is just 22 so they will try hard to keep this player in teams and extend his contract and even if they have to pay him more than other stars in the world they will do it because this can be a good investment for the future to hold a 22y old player in your teams with the current situation of Haaland and the recent performance we saw from him.

A striker in top club as Manchester city can have great players that would stay and win games with alot of goals. What makes this possible is the welcome and trust the team hath put on him. If he considered leaving, it could be perhaps he has a fallout with the manager or that the manager was replaced with a new one that doesn't like him. Other than these, a top striker like Haaland still has more to offer the team and would even get raise if need be. Let him ask Aguero and others who were as good as his performance right now.
If he decides to leave to another club in another league, it might just be career over for him. His dad with football experience must have taught him better.

Chelsea have two of the best goalkeepers in the world ;Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga. Buying another top class goalkeeper might not be Chelsea's best option because no top class goalkeeper will like to sit on the bench. Mendy refused to sign a new contract in Chelsea not because of the terms but he has been relegated to the bench. I don't think Gregor Kobel will like to be a reserved goalkeeper because Kepa is in good form. Chelsea needs a younger, talented and cheap goalkeeper that can comfortably serve as Kepa's replacement.

Manchester might need the Burussia Dortmund stopper than Chelsea because David de Gea is getting old which might make him retire in few years. Kobel might be a very good replacement.
if Chelsea does decide to agree with Gregor Kobel, it will cost one of their keepers a go. and the news that Mendy does not want to extend the contract. this could be a serious move for Chelsea to sign Gregor Kobel. matter who will be in the first team, these two will have to compete for it.
but if United is also interested, it could be a scramble for United and Chelsea. United also has the possibility of getting Gregor Kobel if this season ends well.

Mendy already refused to stay even longer in chelsea. The main reason is due to his salary.
Chelsea was offering him less salary compared with kepa. Mendy wants £200,000 perweek while chelsea didn't even approve it. No choice for mendy other than leaving from the club as soon as he get a new one.

You can even compare the current salary received by mendy with keepa.

This season is coming to an end, according to some news sources i read. Rumors say that Inter are not interested in making Lukaku permanent until his loan contract expires. meaning, Lukaku will return to his home club Chelsea. as we know, that Chelsea has several players who have the same position as Lukaku. So, it looks like Chelsea won't include Lukaku in their project next season. but if in the end Lukaku is not included in Chelsea's or Inter's plans, in fact Lukaku will have no trouble finding a new club that is interested in using his services. because, Newcastle and Tottenham are rumored to have an interest in using his services.

However, if, Lukaku can prove his worth for the rest of the season. Several sources reported that there were reports that Inter wanted to keep Lukaku after the end of this season, and Chelsea were willing to accept it. Anyway, so far there has been no official confirmation from Inter or Chelsea. So, Lukaku's future is still an enigma.
There were some talks about how Real Madrid wanted Kane, because they are lacking a proper striker at the front whenever Benzema misses games, and whenever he doesn't, they can do a dual striker type of situation as well, there is nothing wrong with that. So Kane might be bought from Tottenham and that will result with the fact that we are talking about a situation where Lukaku could replace him instead.

In a world like that Kane would be sold for at least 100 million, and could play there for another 5 seasons, and Tottenham would only spend like 30-40 million at best for Lukaku and the rest will be their profit to buy players at other positions to grow better.

Chelsea have never stopped targeting new players and now they are reportedly eyeing Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel in the transfer market next summer. This Swiss goalkeeper has joined Dortmund since the summer of 2021 and the duration of his contract is still long enough until 2026. It seems that coach Graham Potter is not quite satisfied with their current goalkeeper and it is possible that one of these goalkeepers will be sold next summer.
Kobel is one of the caused why Chelsea lose from Dortmund in the first leg round of 16 champion league that some people were impress with his performance because he can blocked some of shots attempts from Chelsea players and no wonder if there was a big team who interested to him especially since he was bought from Stuttgart Kobel performance was quite stable but Chelsea is not alone because reported Kobel also into Manchester United radar and both of teams is required new goalkeeper that Manchester United will losing De Gea and Chelsea also most likely will lost Edouard Mendy so lets see which club will win the race

Last summer Chelsea already bought Gabriel Slonina from Chicago Fire and after loaned duration ended currently he was playing at Chelsea U-21 and i think he is also potential goalkeeper and with his current age 18 years old possibly Slonina will being an Chelsea main goalkeeper in the future

negotiation of contract extension process for Leao did not go as expected. Until now players & clubs have not found an agreement. AC Milan has reported already made the final offer for Leao with a salary offer 7.5 million euros per season. However, from this offer Leao has not made his decision yet.

Leao is a good player, the club has also tried to make him stay, if in the end Leao has to leave, I hope Milan can bring in players of equal or better quality. of course with a lower salary  Grin

Haaland is one of the best players Guardiola has in the current squad. City got it at a great price. I don't think City will let him go soon. until now Haaland is still the main choice for Guardiola on the front lines. he is also a goal machine for City. the best option is to keep Haaland. and Guardiola certainly understands it all.

I know that the whole transfer market is full of speculation and rumors and in a lot of cases those rumors are really just some made up stuff by medias or other people, but that rumor now that is claiming that Pep Guardiola wants Erling Haaland to leave Manchester City is just absolutely stupid and makes no sense at all. Haaland is performing very well and probably better than anyone expected and what also should not be forgotten is the fact, that Manchester City paid not only a transfer fee for him but also around 30 Million € as a bonus to his greedy father. So they have spent a lot of money on Haaland and i doubt they want to sell him again so soon.
Many people come up with different speculations about some teams and players, which most of the time are incorrect; in the case of Haaland, we all know how important he is to the Manchester City squad, and they never sign a striker who has scored this many goals for them in all competitions in one season, and Haaland is still doing it because nobody can predict the number of goals he can score this season, so unless they had a problem along the way or if the charges FA were charging Manchester City becomes true then he can leave the club, but for now, I don't think Manchester City will let him go soon.

if Tottenham this year will stop again in 4th place in the Premier League standings, that means they have no progress. It is only natural that Conte is under pressure from fans and also players who are dissatisfied with the results they have had this season.
especially if later Tottenham's position could be taken over by Newcastle or Liverpool. it will be a heavy blow to Tottenham and also to Conte's future there. if they don't progress, some of the previously rumored players might also leave the squad.
I'm pretty sure for Harry Kane that he will stay just because he says he is loyal to the club. But a career is still a career that will determine the future of a Harry Kane, with his quality that is still ideal and so many clubs that want his services, why does he stay? Tottenham will probably have the same season of not getting a seat that is too promising in the Premier League. Considering that currently there is a Newcastle club and the one with the most potential to replace Tottenham's position, namely Liverpool. In other words, Conte will indeed make a bet at the end of this season with the remaining time he has.
if Harry Kane agree to sign the new contract Tottenham Hotspur wants to offer him again, and he accept. Then Harry Kane is just a Harry Potter. He doesn't want to grow and achieve well in football. He needs to move away. Loot at he's former team who left the club has won so many Trophies and Harry Kane has none with Tottenham Hotspur. I think the club is just using him to make money, nothing more over. He's aging and wi retire with a single trophy at club level
I'm really not pleased with the way he's been handling things. It almost seems like he's too afraid of upsetting the Tottenham fans and his legendary status at the club to take any real risks. Personally, I think he needs to be more proactive and try to force through a move to another team. If he doesn't leave by the end of the season, then it'll be clear that he has no real drive to win any trophies. Harry Kane is an incredibly talented player and he deserves to have some trophies. For how long this will continue? Stay at Tottenham until he retires and just keep winning Player of the Season awards? I truly believe that he'll end up regretting it if he stays put for too long.

So my thought to Kane would be to start exploring his options and see if he can make a move to another team. Enough is enough, and it's time for him to seek out some new opportunities that will allow him to really shine and reach his full potential.

It looks like Lukaku's future isn't bright at all. Because he wants to stay at Inter but it looks like Inter can't afford his current terms again. This means his loan will end and he will go back to Chelsea. However he doesn't seem to be a part of Potter's plans either. In this situation I don't know what he can do. His end at Chelsea wouldn't be different from Aubameyang as he would also wait among the substitutes.

Who knows maybe another decent European team would like to have a deal with him this summer. But I still have doubts about this situation as he isn't able to play like in the past.
Lukaku's future seems to be uncertain from the time he moved to Chelsea, too many critics going around even after a disappointing outing at the world cup a lot of doubts that he has lost his touch and finishing skill but finally we have been seeing good signs recently and it seems he is gradually returning to form again.

Totenham has already made a clarification regarding kane and it was already been mentioned by skysport.

Harry Kane's future could be unresolved heading into the January window with Tottenham not willing to sell him this summer, regardless of whether he signs a new deal or where they finish in the Premier League.

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/12833439/harry-kane-tottenham-unwilling-to-sell-in-summer-but-man-utd-cant-afford-a-transfer-saga

I would take it 100% true caused by we have not entered yed into the transfer season. That's why manchester united has been trying to find alternative transfer other than kane and osimhen since both of players already protected by their own clubs.
Totenham may also potentially let kane go out from the club with free transfer status.

MU has been targeting a new striker and he is kolo muani

MU has been rumored already prepared a bunch of money to buy him.

Speculating about Haaland's fate at City where he has only recently made the club a place for him to achieve many things is quite strange, especially so far he has played quite comfortably there and has received enough support from his team-mates, where he as a pure striker gets quite a lot of assists. making him a prolific striker.
It seems the media is spreading gossip because PSG are also interested in him for next season after another failed in UCL https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/21682217/paris-saint-germain-erling-haaland-transfer/
but since the news is tagged as gossip, it will remain as gossip until confirmation.
