Manage a lower PL club? really? I thought that someone posted that if Mourinho wanted to be a replacement for Eddie Howe.

I know Eddie was good, but he's not good enough to handle a club that gave him a bunch of money like Newcastle. I'd personally rated him as a failed coach considering he had spent a lot, but he still won nothing.

It's time for Newcastle to consider Mourinho as the right replacement for their coach now. This is because when they gave lots of money to the someone who fully experienced to build a football team. The chance to be success is bigger.

I don't know if he really wants to go back to the Premier League. Did he specifically mention that or do you personally believe that? If you ask me, I think he took on the job with Fenerbahce because it was a big paycheck, he is living like a king in Turkey and he doesn't care if he gets sacked. I don't underestimate the expectations in Turkey and everyone still thinks he could turn Fenerbahce into a top team, but I doubt Mourinho himself gives a damn.

He is now 61 years old and so far he hasn't been a coach for a national team. I rather imagine that he would want to do that instead of being under high stress in the Premier League.

It’s obviously a mistake for Roma to sack Mourinho, look at how “good” their performance has been since they fired Mourinho. I disagree with your take, no one had ever done in Chelsea what Mourinho accomplished with the club, till date he's still the most successful manager in the club history.

If mourinho comes, he's going to change this interesting Newcastle team to a boring one that'll not be playing nice football as they have bring playing. Mourinho has tired for his career, he doesn't need another run in the premier league if it isn't with a bigger club that he can win trophies with as Newcastle can't give him what he wants.

I think it's because of the poor tactics of the immediate past manager of Manchester United Erik ten Hag that's made you conclude that the players in the team aren't capable of improving the performance of the team and if new players aren't signed to the club, it'll be difficult for the new manager to succeed. Since he was appointed as the manager of Manchester United, I strongly believe that Ruben Amorim have been watching videos of the club's games while figuring out the best possible tactical approaches that'll help bring out the best from the players.
Wether he signs new players during the January transfer window or not, I strongly believe that he'll improve the performance of Manchester United when he finally takes over

Mourinho's had experience in the premier league, he's won trophies there so he got lots of experience to go back but it's not going to be easy for him to go back there and win the league trophy cause their I several good coach in the EPL currently that would make it very difficult for him, he's a good coach no doubt but his experience at Tottenham fc in 2019 after he got fired at Manchester United should hint him of what he should expect if he returns to the Premier League but that's if Newcastle or any other Premier League team would sack their manager and hand over the job to him. You're right by saying Mourinho would add value to Newcastle if he moves over their but lately the EPL is not very patient with coaches they'll sack him if they're not convinced he's the right manager, remember that in 2019 he helped Tottenham get to a cup final and still got fired.

I have no problem with Jose Mourinho joining Newcastle United, but I want to say that they're not performing badly, they play good football but what's lacking is the winning mentality to do it consistently. Jose Mourinho has his ways of psychologically improving his players mentally.

What a dump take! Finished and he won the conference cup with As Roma? He should update himself and not stick to his defensive tactics, they're freaking buzzkill whenever you compare em with clubs attacking.

Plus, it is not even just about stats, like you could have decent stats, assume he scored more, but if your teammates are giving you great passes, and you are not turning them to goals, then what's the point of scoring once or twice a game, when you are missing 2-3 more open wide shots? That is exactly the bias the English pundit and media alike has towards a non English manager, none of them has ever criticized him even when Newcastle united is performing very badly, but if it's a none English manager, I believe that he would have been gone by now, because the criticism and the pressure of not winning anything and not even going close to win anything would have forced the hierarchy of Newcastle united to act by replacing the manager, but in the case of Eddie Howe they are playing blind eyes towards his performance since he took over as the manager of the club.

Then as for Jose Mourinho, truly if Newcastle united can acquire his services, it's a massive upgrade in the managerial department of the Newcastle team no doubt, because he is not just a proven winner but he also has the capacity to win something with Newcastle.
