So the transfer season is now over for all leagues and to summarise, there were not so many transfers this year compared to the last few years, but there were a few very crazy ones such as Mbappe to Real Madrid and that free of charge or that Oshimen did not move to the Premiere League but to Galatasaray, even if it is only a loan transfer I find it crazy that such a player will play in the turkish league.
I only consider the transfer of Victor Osimhen to Galatasary after Chelsea deal and other clubs like PSG failed. It sounds crazy but it seems Osimhen had no option since he was somewhat frustrated by Napoli.

The transfer of Mbappe to Real Madrid isn't crazy and neither was it surprising. This is because from last season, we had already known how it will be. And nothing different has happened.
The transfer market for all leagues in Europe has officially closed now, so we will no longer see transfer activity occurring from European teams, most teams have succeeded in getting their target players, but many other teams has also failed to recruiting new players, if you look at the current transfer activity I think Chelsea is the team that is recruiting the most players, while Liverpool is actually the team that is carrying out the least activity in the transfer market, previously we knew if speculation was widely discussed in the transfer market  is related to Osimhen and a lot of speculation has been created from what happened to Osimhen before, but what we see now does not match what continues to be rumored after Osimhen has been linked with PSG and Chelsea for so long, Osimhen transfer to Galatasaray is surprising before the transfer market ends, but I think Osimhen's move to Galatasaray is the right alternative for him, because at this time he needs club to maintain his playing performance after Osimhen no longer has a place in the Napoli squad.

The 23-year-old Senegalese scored 14 goals in 35 games last year. This is a good statistic in a bad season for Chelsea. Jackson started well this year too. But nine years is a very long time. I don't think it's right for a football player to sign a nine-year contract. The system changes and the player may want to leave the team. In this case, there is no point in tying yourself to Chelsea for nine years.
Enzo Maresca included him in his future plans at Stamford Bridge, impacting more confidence and evident structure for these players. Following the stats, Nicolas Jackson is a competent goal scorer for Chelsea and extending his contract to 2033 is really a solid deal for the Senegalese. Nicolas Jackson made a good run previous season but was unable to bagged more goals following his heavy big miss in games which was definitely out of line for the frontline. However this season is a different one and there's possibility for Nicolas Jackson to become prominent for the club, he's working extremely hard on himself and proving to become one of the outstanding frontline in the English Premier League. Nicolas Jackson just need to be consistent in his stellar display for the club.

Jackson signed his contract until 2033. Damn, what kind of longterm plan do the Blues want to show. This seems too early, I mean at least Jackson should go through this season until the end and see how much contribution he can give to the club. Since the deal has been done, so hopefully what Chelsea is doing can go well. Once again Jackson indirectly has a heavy burden on his shoulders to prove he is worthy, because if not then Jackson will receive a bitter risk from all the fans.

I don't know how this happened, whether it was initiated from the side of Jackson or from the management side. Giving a player like Jackson which I consider as average a contract of 8 years is outrageous or strange to me. It is also a risk to Jackson because he could be lucky and become a world sensation, then moving to a better club would be a problem.
Anyways, I'll need to know the clauses of this contract; the wages and the release clause before I'll make a better judgement.
I can’t believe Chelsea passed on Victor Osimhen because of “wages” problems. And then give Nicolas Jackson a new contract. 9 years is a long time. What has Jackson done to earn this confidence from the club. I don’t understand the kind of faith the club has in Nicolas Jackson. You have a striker who cannot score goals no, what is the guarantee that he will be any better enough in 6 years time. You only succeeded in having a washed up player in your hands. I can’t wait to watch the next Mikel Obi’s podcast. He always has something nice to say about Jackson.

I can even guarantee that Jamal Musiala is much more important than Harry Kane, last season before Kane, Jamal Musiala role managed to contribute 12 goals and 10 assists so it makes sense for Bayern Munich to keep him longer. If they don't act soon, there will be many clubs who intend to bring him in at any price. He is still young but his maturity level on the field is unquestionable.
In my opinion, Jamal Musiala cannot be compared to Harry Kane because both of these players are important players for Bayern Munich at this time and the club will definitely continue to use these 2 players in every match, Harry Kane is a senior player and his experience in the Europa League is undoubtedly the club still needs him in the team no matter even though he is 31 years old he can still stay in the team maybe until he is 35 years old, while for Jamal Musiala the club will try to maintain him as much as they can but also not too pushy if there is a club that is interested and willing to pay a high price maybe Bayern Munich will release him by setting a high price because he is a valuable asset.
Musiala and Harry Kane are of course two mainstay players whose positions are difficult to replace at the moment, so Bayern Munich will of course not try to let thir go easily , I  think Kane can't be compared with Musiala considering the position and role of both of them is also very different now, but in terms of sharpness and contribution of course both of them have made a big contribution to Bayern Munich's game so far, I think Kane is a player who is currently very safe both in terms of contract and position at Bayern Munich, but Musiala actually has to be Munich is the main focus for them to pay attention to considering the situation of Musiala who is currently being targeted by many teams, Musiala is still very young and he is a very valuable asset in the future, so it is very appropriate for Bayern Munich to retain him at this time.
Well that's what I mean it's not fair to compare him with Harry Kane because these two players occupy different positions and have different roles, Bayern Munich also doesn't want to lose Harry Kane for any reason because he has become the top scorer in the Bundesliga in his first season and that is a good result we just have to wait for him to bring Bayern Munich to win the Bundesliga title again with Jamal Musiala because these two players are important factors in Bayern Munich's game so far, what I know is that Bayern Munich is the type of club that always maintains its mainstay players so that the club's performance remains stable and they will only release their mainstay players if they feel they are no longer possible to compete.

Previously, Andriy Lunin was rumored to be leaving after his contract with Real Madrid expires in June 2025. He wants to find a club that can guarantee his position as the main goalkeeper because while he was still at Real Madrid, his playing opportunities were very minimal because the coach trusted Thibaut Courtois more as the main goalkeeper. Now he has officially extended his contract with Real Madrid and will stay there until June 2030.

His decision to extend his long-term contract is in stark contrast to his wishes last season as he is well aware of the difficulties of breaking into the first team while Thibaut Courtois remains at Real Madrid. This deal is very beneficial for Real Madrid because they do not lose one of their players for free, his services can also be used when Courtois is injured or in other competitions such as the Copa Del Rey or the Club World Cup.

Coach Arteta has signed a new contract with Arsenal, the deal will be announced soon by the "Gunners". The Spanish coach has contributed greatly to Arsenal's dramatic change since replacing Unai Emery at the end of 2019. Mikel has been a key figure in returning Arsenal to the top echelons of English and European football while creating a new bond between the team, the club, and the supporters.

With the new contract, Arteta can get closer to the salary Pep Guardiola is receiving. Arteta's agreement to stay at the Emirates Stadium, ending speculation about his future, will help Arsenal be more confident before conquering the Premier League title, as well as the Champions League.

Arteta has done a great job with the Arsenal squad since taking over as the manager. He’s made Arsenal a very strong and competitive side in recent seasons. The only fans who talk negatively about him….the “what has he won for Arsenal critics” are rival fans who are unhappy to see Arsenal compete for the number one spot on the table. I see a very bright future with Arteta managing the club. Extending his contract is the best decision for Arsenal. I can bet Manchester City would be very interested in getting Arteta should Pep resign today. Arteta is arguably the second-best manager in the EPL right now.

Real Madrid paid well for Mbappé, while in the case of Osimhen, there are several controversies over price negotiations with different teams including PSG, Chelsea, and others, and after all the attempts been made by several top teams for Osimhen were all turned down as the player letter join Galatasaray for n a loan deal which no obligation to buy, he further extended his contract with Napoli, and Napoli has made it clear that he will be leaving after his loan or even before finishing from Galatasaray if Chelsea or any Big team pay and the player is convinced to join them.

I think this Osimhen Saga will forever be spoken off. I personally criticized the player on waiting for different clubs but retracted my comments when I heard that it was Napoli that were frustrating him. Many thought it was conte but reported had it that he wasn’t the one that rejected him but the club placed him in on a list of players to be sold. First it was rumored that PSG never reached agreement with Napoli because the fee was just too high and secondly it was rumored that Chelsea deal was also delayed because of fee and not Osimhen rejecting them and even Mikel Obi who was said to be the intercessor for Chelsea said the bid of Chelsea was accepted late by Napoli and Also that of Al Ahli too.

This was just a saga and Chelsea hanged on too long for me they should have gotten another striker instead now they have Jackson to rely on or they play a false nine with the likes of Nkunku and Joao Felix playing that role perfectly, if it doesn’t work they can go back for Osimhen in January with his release clause now reduced in the new contract

Yes, these are the only two crazy news amongst the other transfer news because these players have something in common; they are all important players in their previous team and they both have lost interest in the teams and they are ready to leave the teams even with small fee that couldn’t satisfy their former team.

David Datro Fofana is going to the Turkish Super League.

https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1834267243619721428

He is also one of the names Chelsea has signed but hasn't given much chance. I know he is still young (21) but let's see. Not every young player being loaned to other teams turn into better players. I hope he improves his skills more in time. Maybe it is better for him to leave Chelsea for now though. Because you know how many players they have signed recently.  Tongue  It is really not easy to prove yourself among too many players...
It is really not easy proving yourself amongst so many talents and in the case of Chelsea they have quite a huge number of players in their squad who eventually all need to prove themselves because I doubt Enzo Maresca has settled for his first eleven team. Everyone seems to be on trial at Chelsea at the moment which is why I think it will be a good time for Fofana to leave and get playing time elsewhere though he is just 21 but there are better opportunities out there for him.

One more absurd way that Chelsea is doing by signing players for a very long duration.
I don't understand why Chelsea have to do this madness again after what they showed for Palmer before especially if you look at Jackson's performance last season there is really nothing special that we can see until now.

They always make the situation funny and make long-term contracts a trend to make their players stay for a long time without a significant contribution.
Indeed in this case I cannot deny that Jackson can also be quite flexible and can occupy several positions but with the contract given now it is clearly too much for Jackson even though in 3 matches at the beginning of this season he scored 2 goals but that does not guarantee that Jackson deserves a long-term contract like this.

Mbape and Osimhen both has something in common, their previous teams bullshit them. First they played well for a season and after they were offer a nice contract which was a set up they didn't know and when it was time for them to have another incredible moment with them, they were maltreating them like an outsider and as soon as they want to go for another league, they begin to show them love but the players refused to buy that and they frustrated their movement.

Osimhen was even better, he didn't have choice of club he would have left long ago but nobody was willing to pay for what Napoli was asking but Mbape had the chance but he screwed up everything. He almost signed for Real Madrid 2 transfer seasons ago but he scatter the plan and now that he was successfully signed, he is finding it difficult to even adapt to the club.

As Osimhen was tripped up by the move of several other European clubs who ended up having to move to Galatasaray, rather than him not playing half a season it was better to go there even if it was on loan.
Osimhen's transfer was too difficult, his agent did not try to get a decent club.

The article Real Madrid and Liverpool have bid 200 million for Mbappe but it was rejected by the President of PSG, but finally he became a free road to Real Madrid.
Who would have thought PSG should have made so much money from Mbappe's sale.

Is this part of Ten Hag plan?
But it sounds very good if indeed it is also one of the plans for Ten Hag which is currently trying to improve the bad performance that occurs in the defense. And I think Sekou Kone deserves to be part of Squad Man United because he has very good expertise and the task of Ten Hag is currently developing the talents of the young player.
Hopefully the arrival of the player will help give a little change.

Yes, I also think that Nicholas Jackson is in a state of grace and that thanks to luck he manages to stay there and put in some good performances. In my opinion we can also consider the player as average, nothing exceptional but in any case if he was chosen by Chelsea it means that He has some good characteristics, I hope he continues to do well
I have no idea why Chelsea want to extend Jackson's contract when his performance isn't that good lol.

Chelsea will be in loss I guess, there's no team want Jackson except Chelsea release him cheaper than his market value. It's really rare to see old players in Chelsea, Jackson will turn 31 in the next 9 years, 31 years old striker in Premier League mostly can't compete with the young players anymore.

In the last 2 months Chelsea have been making ridiculous decisions, they started signing a lot of young players who won't play any time soon. They also started letting go of some good players, after that they started extending the contracts of many players to 2030 to 2033. It seems like they are not counting on the fact that they can change coaches and the other coach doesn't like the current players and wants to sell them. Today for example I read news that David Datro Fofana will leave Chelsea for Göztepe SK on loan. They sent away Raheem Sterling, who is now at Arsenal and we will see him shine.

and finally I read this news:

Maresca open doors to Ben Chilwell return: “We will sit with him and find solution. He is probably going to be back with us, we will see”.

“At the moment, he is not training with us. The reason why he was training apart, is because the idea was for him to leave”
.

https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1834565526447616398

Maresca has made many changes to the team. If he doesn't win anything in the next 2 years, he will face a huge wave of criticism and will be fired.

It's really rare to see old players in Chelsea, Jackson will turn 31 in the next 9 years, 31 years old striker in Premier League mostly can't compete with the young players anymore.

Why did you think Chelsea extended his contract? Do you think they’ll keep him till that time, I don’t think so at all and this is purely a business strategy to me. The player is not performing that good but they can’t tell how well he may improve overtime, so by increasing his contract will give them time for ownership of the player more and when needed by another club, they may have to pay a high transfer fee to get him in their side. Nicholas Jackson even agreed to the deal without hesitation, I wonder what he must have been told and how they were able to convince him easily to extend his contract.

If I was the coach of Chelsea Nicolas Jackson would been kept on the bench for most of the games. He has been a very wasteful striker who rarely maximizes goalscoring chances. But he is strong, a team player and humble, maybe this might be the quality the coach wants. As a striker, the goals should be the main objective. The reason why the club might give him this long-term contract might be because they believe he would improve and his earnings might be low. I hope the Senegalese will be able to prove to Enzo Maresca that he deserves this trust.

He really needs to improve in his scoring ability because a striker does not need to be wasting goals as he is doing now. He needs to improve in all ramifications and be a top striker that teams needs to be sorting for in the future. His contract extension may seem to have been fuelled by the believe they have for him to score more goals and be more professional than he is now. He’s still young, he should make the best out of the current opportunity given to him now.

I thought that this news was done a week ago. It seems like that an official announcement came slower than unofficial announcement.

I was worried we were going to lose Jackson on a free agent. It seem Chelsea has planned a retirement plan for him to keep stay in the club forever. but what's new from his 2 years extension? New wages?   Cheesy It seems he follows what Palmer did.

And that's good enough to see the ball carrying ones like Jackson to extend his contract much longer. Though some against this idea, but he good-rated player for me. He's good dribbler, and he can be silky on the ball. But he has inability to shoot, which is his biggest problem.

Chelsea has extended some of their players' contracts for almost a decade. It feels like a guy who, after getting a credit card, pays for his purchases in installments as long as possible.
Actually, the long-term contract given to Jackson is not solely because of his quality, Chelsea wants to balance the financial balance. Almost all players recruited after the arrival of Todd Boehly, are offered with contracts of more than five years, which makes Chelsea financial books record lower figures from the club spending side. So in the end The Blues will remain safe and from various sanctions, but such a policy also has its drawbacks. If in the next few seasons Chelsea wants to encourage one of its players to go find a new club, they will have difficulty cashing it in. Further information from The Athletic seems to be able to help us to find out more details about the techniques used by Chelsea:

Jackson is good striker mate, he only lack consistency and Enzo Maresca believes in him and he wanted to change him to a better striker which I am sure will be possible because the team have no any other reliable striker than him since they couldn’t sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli, they have to coach Jackson to help the team to be competitive by scoring goals for them.

Extending Jackson’s contract will be of benefit for Chelsea, they are hoping for him to step up his performance this season, if they are able to achieve that, he will be a striker that many teams will be coming for especially if Chelsea signed Osimhen or any other big striker probably next season. A release clause will help Chelsea to get some good amount of money from the player instead of leaving the team for free maybe when his contract expires.
