So the transfer season is now over for all leagues and to summarise, there were not so many transfers this year compared to the last few years, but there were a few very crazy ones such as Mbappe to Real Madrid and that free of charge or that Oshimen did not move to the Premiere League but to Galatasaray, even if it is only a loan transfer I find it crazy that such a player will play in the turkish league.
Hmm, that's true mate!
In this transfer window Victor Osimene's departure was the only move that happened from outside the expected circle. Everyone was expecting that Victor Osimene would move to a European club (Chelsea, PSG etc). But in fact, he proved all people's expectations wrong and moved to Turkish league and that too on a loan deal.

While Killian Mbappe's departure everyone knew that he would move to Real Madrid. Because recently from few years Killian Mbappe and Real Madrid were linked for a deal. So Killian Mbappe's move was not that surprising, everyone already knew about this move.

Let me also submit this tath Many clubs have signed their targeted players. But in my opinion, the best transfer that has happened in this window is Julian Alvarez. Because J. Alvarez, being the best player, has an expensive value despite Atletico Madrid having signed hum from Manchester City by paying less value than market value.

Previously, Andriy Lunin was rumored to be leaving after his contract with Real Madrid expires in June 2025. He wants to find a club that can guarantee his position as the main goalkeeper because while he was still at Real Madrid, his playing opportunities were very minimal because the coach trusted Thibaut Courtois more as the main goalkeeper. Now he has officially extended his contract with Real Madrid and will stay there until June 2030.

His decision to extend his long-term contract is in stark contrast to his wishes last season as he is well aware of the difficulties of breaking into the first team while Thibaut Courtois remains at Real Madrid. This deal is very beneficial for Real Madrid because they do not lose one of their players for free, his services can also be used when Courtois is injured or in other competitions such as the Copa Del Rey or the Club World Cup.
This comes as a shock to me, after what they did to him last season, I honestly expected Lunin to leave, and would want to be at any other club. I understand that Real Madrid could be the greatest team right now, but at the same time it feels what they did was so wrong that they should have been ashamed of themselves as well. Last season for the entire season Lunin protected the goal, and then on the last 3 games or so, and specially on the UCL finals, they just switched to Courtois because he was ready to get back and healed.

Sure Thibaut Courtois is a great goal keeper and he is probably the best one out there right now, but putting him on just the final game, when Lunin was the one that took them there, was a shameful act if you ask me, just rest Courtois for one more game, and then Lunin would have given up anyway. In any case, Lunin felt like that was ok obviously since he extended his contract.

Barcelona Boss Hansi Flick wants to sign the the Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala for Barcelona:

Here, Guys, I saw a fresh news on Twitter in which it was said that Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is willing to sign one of the best young talent Jamal Musiala. Hansi Flick used Jamal Musiala before at Bayern Munich. Jamal Musiala was 17 years old when Hansi Flick gave him the opportunity to play the game in 2020, which has made him a world class player. And now from the interesting things that the same Bayern Munich ex coach Hansi Flick wants Jamal Musiala to move to Barcelona. And become a vital player for the club. In this regard, Johan Laporta is also willing to offer over $110 million to Bayern Munich for signing the young talent Jamal Musiala.

Source: https://managingbarca.com/index.php/2024/09/11/flick-wants-barcelona-to-sign-german-superstar/

Now ask yourself if Barcelona has the funds to sign this player and even if they do, what position do you think he'll play for Barcelona? They recently signed up Daniel Olmo from Leipzig who plays same position as Jamal Musiala ( behind the striker ) I don't take this news to be serious.
If Barcelona has such funds, then they should have brought in a Nico Williams from Atletico Bilbao and also Fabian Ruiz from Paris Saint Germany. There are too many clubs hunting Jamal Musiala right now. He'll have to make a decision which will either affect his career positively or negatively in the next ten years. I would love a move to Real Madrid or Manchester City so he can replace Kevin De Bruyne who leaves at the end of the season.

Chelsea will be in loss I guess, there's no team want Jackson except Chelsea release him cheaper than his market value. It's really rare to see old players in Chelsea, Jackson will turn 31 in the next 9 years, 31 years old striker in Premier League mostly can't compete with the young players anymore.

One thing is that all this long term contracts that Chelsea are giving out to players are just a means to beat the FFP rules and nothing more, I don’t see most of this players staying until then, players like Jackson if they fall out of favour or lose form will be sold off immediately even at a lower price, so it doesn’t mean that Chelsea will be keeping him up until that age. But still if Chelsea as of today decide to keep him it will be base on his form and we have seen players over 30 years who still play well as a striker, players like Jamie Vardy are here. cavani was above 30 when he also played for Manchester United so it is about the form of the player and not the age.

I think the fact that Anthony Martial still hasn't found a club is the incompetence of his agent. He hasn't had a good performance in recent seasons. But a few seasons ago he was Manchester United's top scorer. He could get a good contract from an average team.

I agree with you that players agency sometimes contributes to the player’s lack of team or a better club. As for martial he shouldn’t have waited for his contract to expire before looking for a new club. A loan move when he was out of favour at united would have been better but he didn’t bother now every team sees him as being lazy and can’t spend huge wage on him. It is surprising to see Flamengo rejecting him maybe it would be a matter of fee not getting agreed because he was previously on a mouth watering $240k wage at united which i don’t think any club will match now, he should simply just take a huge pay cut like De gea and get a team

Maybe they are seeing that he can contribute due to his experience, in a team you also need veteran players because only young players would be a total disaster, if not you have to ask Luis Enrique when he took Spain to Qatar, they lost games that nobody imagined, however for me veteran players even if they are not so good can give the best advice to the youngsters and in part it gives balance, that's what I can think of why they want to keep him there.

Yes, Osimhen went to one of the best teams in the Turkish league. He is currently in the team that won the last two championships and the quality of the league may be a little lower than Osimhen, but there are tough defenders. If they play hard against Osimhen, there is a chance they can injure him. I hope he completes this season without getting injured and goes to the team he will go to next year in better shape. I am surprised how he hasn't gone to the Premier League yet. I thought he would have signed with Chelsea long ago.
His move to the Turkish League can be said to be a decline in performance because Osimhen is still young and still very worthy of being in a competitive league, but like it or not, Osimhen must accept the deal for the sake of his performance development because if he stays in Napoli as we know he both parties are not in a good relationship.
Regarding the failed deal with Chelsea, there are many rumors that Chelsea objected to the salary proposed by Osimhen even though the release clause has been lowered by Napoli, but all of these are rumors that are not yet clear.
Hopefully at Galatasaray Osimhen can work well and other European clubs are interested in recruiting him in the future.

The amount of transfer that is done in other seasons was not transferred in this season, but the biggest transfer in the transfer market was Mbappe's arrival to Real Madrid. Real Madrid tried to bring Mbappe to their team for the last 5 to 6 seasons but finally Real Madrid managed to complete this deal successfully in 2024-25 season. When it comes to Oshimen's transfer, it is clear that the biggest obstacle to his transfer is his current club. Napoli didn't want this player to go to any good club which is why the market value of this player was set very high. Oshimen himself probably knew that no top club would buy the player for the amount that Napoli set for the player's transfer fee. Anyway, I hope Oshimen will perform well at the club he eventually goes to.

News came in from Brazil today
"Anthony Martial demands ruin negotiations – Request revealed as search for next club after Manchester United goes on.
The former Manchester United man has been identified as a target. However, the newspaper says he demanded a three-year deal on his wages to join the South American club.
Flamengo believe that both the salary request and the contract length isn’t workable for them, and therefore it’s believed there’s no possibility of negotiations going any further."
https://sportwitness.co.uk/anthony-martial-demands-ruin-negotiations-request-revealed-as-search-for-next-club-after-manchester-united-goes-on/

I believe that if Martial can not get a contract with Flamenco, we can say that with a probability of 90% of Marcial's career in big soccer is over, because in Europe no one will offer him a contract for more than a year and most likely it will be Turkish or French clubs, because with his history in the EPL no one will take Marcial anymore.

I read in the Turkish press today that Flamengo wants to use the budget allocated for Martial to transfer Icardi. Icardi is very loved at Galatasaray. Galatasaray fans adore him. I don't think he will want to leave Turkiye. He is earning a salary of 6 million Euros in Turkiye. If he gets an offer more attractive than this salary, maybe he will go to Brazil.

I think the fact that Anthony Martial still hasn't found a club is the incompetence of his agent. He hasn't had a good performance in recent seasons. But a few seasons ago he was Manchester United's top scorer. He could get a good contract from an average team.

I assume these Osimhen discussions are going to continue for one more year because of his loan at Galatasaray. His future is still undecided. However I don't expect us to talk about it more than a year. Because his release clause must have dropped a level like 75-80 million euros now. There is no way that we wouldn't see any rich team paying that amount to sign him next summer.  Grin

As far as I have heard, Chelsea has already sent some scouts to observe him at Galatasaray this season. This will surely push Osimhen more to play impressively at his current team. This would be a plus for the Turkish side.  Smiley

I think world football has struggled to produce talented strikers in recent years. The compact football mentality reduces the number of players who stand out with their individual skills. So, even if Osimhen doesn't perform very well at Galatasaray, there will be clubs who will want to sign Osimhen because the number of players like Osimhen in world football is decreasing day by day. Stars like Osimhen, Haaland and Mbappe are players who can single-handedly change the score and the game when the team is bad...
There is actually no need to speculate about Osimhen future because he is only temporarily at Galatasaray before the transfer market reopens, previously, many teams were interested in recruiting Osimhen, but the selling price and high release clause made many interested teams withdraw and play in the Turkish league, it is the right alternative for Osimhen at this time to continue to maintain his playing performance,  If Osimhen is able to maintain his sharpness in scoring goals, of course there will be many other big European teams who will queue up to get Osimhen next winter transfer, especially now that Napoli has lowered Osimhen release clause.

In the summer transfer market some time ago there were only a few strikers available, so Osimhen was a hot asset that was competed for by many teams, osimhen mentality, performance and consistency in scoring goals was the main reason why European teams like PSG, Arsenal and Chelsea want to recruit him, but unfortunately for that is reason Napoli also sets a high price for teams who want to recruit Osimhen.

Osimhen is a good striker, it's just that he can't make what he wants happen. If only he hadn't been so stubborn to choose PSG as his place to land, maybe he wouldn't have had to end up at Galatasaray. He is also unlikely to stay at Napoli because the relationship is no longer good there. It is still unclear why the deal between Napoli and Chelsea did not happen, maybe because Osimhen wanted a big enough salary, or it could be because he didn't really want to move to the Premier League at that time.
Apart from wanting a big pay check, Victor Osimhen saw the treatment he got from Napoli as disrespectful and that's one of the main reasons he never accepted to join Chelsea until his own terms were met.

After the Chelsea deal failed, many thought he would spend the rest of the first half of the season without a club before Galatasaray made that late move.

Victor Osimhen's move to Galatasaray is a good one if you ask me because he's gone to a club where the fans have shown him nothing but love and are ready to cheer him up on big games, the club is currently the most consistent team in the Turkish Super Lig at the moment so he's very likely to win a trophy this season as well.

Regarding the contract, Osimhen's contract actually still has 2 years left, if he returns from Galatasaray then Napoli still have control over this player well, that will be the final decision for Napoli because it is certain that Osimhen will not extend his contract. As I said before I would like to see Osimhen playing in the Premier League so we can compare him with other great strikers, Is he worthy of the title of having a market value of 100 million?

We have to see his performance first throughout his time at Galatasaray. if he has difficulty playing in a different competition, it will reduce his performance and it is possible that when his contract ends he will be released by Napoli at a cheaper price.
It may not be too difficult for Osimhen to become the most productive player in the Turkish League. Galatasaray itself has defended the Turkish Super League title for the past two seasons. with the help of a team like that it will not be difficult for Osimhen to show his quality.
Galatasaray became Osimhen stepping stone to return to the highest league, was not very easy, he really had to work hard to attract the attention of big teams again. Yes Galatasaray is now the only ticket Osimhen has until January next year. Hopefully he will be able to score many goals in the Turkish League, coincidentally today Galatasaray against Rizespor and Osimhen will certainly appear for the first time. We want him to adapt quickly because there is not much time.

yes this is very true but you are forgetting about the new generation of phenomena that is coming up, there are kids who are 16 years old who are already very strong and the generational turnover is really excellent, we will just have to wait for the kids to come up and demonstrate their value, regarding Osimhen I say that he is an overly confident player

I hate it when you are coming into a team and you're faced with so much expectations from all angle waiting for what you can deliver. It has an high chance of putting pressure on the player and might cause him to under perform. It's almost the same thing that's happening to mbape and real Madrid as people are expecting him to do wonders in the team and don't be surprised that if they don't perform well this season, he will take most of the blames.

The ability of the Galatasaray coach to managing him well will determine how well he's going to perform in the club. From his performance at the first two games he played at the national level for his country after the whole transfer saga broke out, he's still at tge top of his game and hopefully, he will do well when he plays his first game for his new club. From the previous head to head games Galatasaray plays with Rizespor, they've had 4 wins and only lost one of the 5 encounters they've played in the past. From that standpoint, if he's going to get his first start from today's game, it will be very rewarding to see him scoring goals most expecially when you're considering that his replacement at Napoli had a goal on his derby game.

Osimhen is wanting to prove himself quickly so he can go to a bigger club at the mid season. That's gonna happen only if he will able to build a good chemistry with his teammates at Galatasaray.

I'm looking forward for which club that would pay 75m for someone with 1 yr left on their contract next yea.

Yeah Osimhen is in this situation and I can say that this is the last chance for him to prove that he deserves to return to the top league of course in this way Osimhen has to contribute more to Galatasaray while winning the title and the golden boot, he will start the first match today when Galatasaray played Rizespor. Do you believe that Osimhen will score his first goal in this match? just checked out this betting option and it seems the market is predicting he will do it 1.59 for this bet, not interested?

I only consider the transfer of Victor Osimhen to Galatasary after Chelsea deal and other clubs like PSG failed. It sounds crazy but it seems Osimhen had no option since he was somewhat frustrated by Napoli.

The transfer of Mbappe to Real Madrid isn't crazy and neither was it surprising. This is because from last season, we had already known how it will be. And nothing different has happened.

Mbappe's Saga had been running for a few years, and many people have correctly predicted it. There's nothing surprise from this transfer.

It's kinda different to the Osimhen's Saga. There have been many things happened on his transfer path. It started with Napoli. They set a 130m release clause. Then, Newcastle made a 100m offer, but Napoli rejected it. Even when received some offers from PL clubs, but none predicted that he would be ended on Turkish league.
