In this transfer window Victor Osimene's departure was the only move that happened from outside the expected circle. Everyone was expecting that Victor Osimene would move to a European club (Chelsea, PSG etc). But in fact, he proved all people's expectations wrong and moved to Turkish league and that too on a loan deal. 
 
While Killian Mbappe's departure everyone knew that he would move to Real Madrid. Because recently from few years Killian Mbappe and Real Madrid were linked for a deal. So Killian Mbappe's move was not that surprising, everyone already knew about this move. 
 
Let me also submit this tath Many clubs have signed their targeted players. But in my opinion, the best transfer that has happened in this window is Julian Alvarez. Because J. Alvarez, being the best player, has an expensive value despite Atletico Madrid having signed hum from Manchester City by paying less value than market value.

This comes as a shock to me, after what they did to him last season, I honestly expected Lunin to leave, and would want to be at any other club. I understand that Real Madrid could be the greatest team right now, but at the same time it feels what they did was so wrong that they should have been ashamed of themselves as well. Last season for the entire season Lunin protected the goal, and then on the last 3 games or so, and specially on the UCL finals, they just switched to Courtois because he was ready to get back and healed.

Sure Thibaut Courtois is a great goal keeper and he is probably the best one out there right now, but putting him on just the final game, when Lunin was the one that took them there, was a shameful act if you ask me, just rest Courtois for one more game, and then Lunin would have given up anyway. In any case, Lunin felt like that was ok obviously since he extended his contract.

Now ask yourself if Barcelona has the funds to sign this player and even if they do, what position do you think he'll play for Barcelona? They recently signed up Daniel Olmo from Leipzig who plays same position as Jamal Musiala ( behind the striker ) I don't take this news to be serious.
If Barcelona has such funds, then they should have brought in a Nico Williams from Atletico Bilbao and also Fabian Ruiz from Paris Saint Germany. There are too many clubs hunting Jamal Musiala right now. He'll have to make a decision which will either affect his career positively or negatively in the next ten years. I would love a move to Real Madrid or Manchester City so he can replace Kevin De Bruyne who leaves at the end of the season.

One thing is that all this long term contracts that Chelsea are giving out to players are just a means to beat the FFP rules and nothing more, I don’t see most of this players staying until then, players like Jackson if they fall out of favour or lose form will be sold off immediately even at a lower price, so it doesn’t mean that Chelsea will be keeping him up until that age. But still if Chelsea as of today decide to keep him it will be base on his form and we have seen players over 30 years who still play well as a striker, players like Jamie Vardy are here. cavani was above 30 when he also played for Manchester United so it is about the form of the player and not the age.


I agree with you that players agency sometimes contributes to the player’s lack of team or a better club. As for martial he shouldn’t have waited for his contract to expire before looking for a new club. A loan move when he was out of favour at united would have been better but he didn’t bother now every team sees him as being lazy and can’t spend huge wage on him. It is surprising to see Flamengo rejecting him maybe it would be a matter of fee not getting agreed because he was previously on a mouth watering $240k wage at united which i don’t think any club will match now, he should simply just take a huge pay cut like De gea and get a team

Maybe they are seeing that he can contribute due to his experience, in a team you also need veteran players because only young players would be a total disaster, if not you have to ask Luis Enrique when he took Spain to Qatar, they lost games that nobody imagined, however for me veteran players even if they are not so good can give the best advice to the youngsters and in part it gives balance, that's what I can think of why they want to keep him there.

His move to the Turkish League can be said to be a decline in performance because Osimhen is still young and still very worthy of being in a competitive league, but like it or not, Osimhen must accept the deal for the sake of his performance development because if he stays in Napoli as we know he both parties are not in a good relationship.

Real Madrid tried to bring Mbappe to their team for the last 5 to 6 seasons but finally Real Madrid managed to complete this deal successfully in 2024-25 season. When it comes to Oshimen's transfer, it is clear that the biggest obstacle to his transfer is his current club. Napoli didn't want this player to go to any good club which is why the market value of this player was set very high. Oshimen himself probably knew that no top club would buy the player for the amount that Napoli set for the player's transfer fee. I read in the Turkish press today that Flamengo wants to use the budget allocated for Martial to transfer Icardi. Icardi is very loved at Galatasaray. Galatasaray fans adore him. I don't think he will want to leave Turkiye. He is earning a salary of 6 million Euros in Turkiye. If he gets an offer more attractive than this salary, maybe he will go to Brazil.

I think the fact that Anthony Martial still hasn't found a club is the incompetence of his agent. He hasn't had a good performance in recent seasons. But a few seasons ago he was Manchester United's top scorer. He could get a good contract from an average team.

Victor Osimhen's move to Galatasaray is a good one if you ask me because he's gone to a club where the fans have shown him nothing but love and are ready to cheer him up on big games, the club is currently the most consistent team in the Turkish Super Lig at the moment so he's very likely to win a trophy this season as well.

Galatasaray became Osimhen stepping stone to return to the highest league, was not very easy, he really had to work hard to attract the attention of big teams again. Yes Galatasaray is now the only ticket Osimhen has until January next year. I hate it when you are coming into a team and you're faced with so much expectations from all angle waiting for what you can deliver. It has an high chance of putting pressure on the player and might cause him to under perform. It's almost the same thing that's happening to mbape and real Madrid as people are expecting him to do wonders in the team and don't be surprised that if they don't perform well this season, he will take most of the blames.

The ability of the Galatasaray coach to managing him well will determine how well he's going to perform in the club. From his performance at the first two games he played at the national level for his country after the whole transfer saga broke out, he's still at tge top of his game and hopefully, he will do well when he plays his first game for his new club. From the previous head to head games Galatasaray plays with Rizespor, they've had 4 wins and only lost one of the 5 encounters they've played in the past. From that standpoint, if he's going to get his first start from today's game, it will be very rewarding to see him scoring goals most expecially when you're considering that his replacement at Napoli had a goal on his derby game.

I assume these Osimhen discussions are going to continue for one more year because of his loan at Galatasaray. His future is still undecided. However I don't expect us to talk about it more than a year. Because his release clause must have dropped a level like 75-80 million euros now. There is no way that we wouldn't see any rich team paying that amount to sign him next summer. 

As far as I have heard, Chelsea has already sent some scouts to observe him at Galatasaray this season. This will surely push Osimhen more to play impressively at his current team. This would be a plus for the Turkish side. 

Yes, Osimhen went to one of the best teams in the Turkish league. He is currently in the team that won the last two championships and the quality of the league may be a little lower than Osimhen, but there are tough defenders. If they play hard against Osimhen, there is a chance they can injure him. I hope he completes this season without getting injured and goes to the team he will go to next year in better shape. I am surprised how he hasn't gone to the Premier League yet. I thought he would have signed with Chelsea long ago.

We have to see his performance first throughout his time at Galatasaray. if he has difficulty playing in a different competition, it will reduce his performance and it is possible that when his contract ends he will be released by Napoli at a cheaper price.

Regarding the contract, Osimhen's contract actually still has 2 years left, if he returns from Galatasaray then Napoli still have control over this player well, that will be the final decision for Napoli because it is certain that Osimhen will not extend his contract. As I said before I would like to see Osimhen playing in the Premier League so we can compare him with other great strikers, Is he worthy of the title of having a market value of 100 million?

Mbappe's Saga had been running for a few years, and many people have correctly predicted it. There's nothing surprise from this transfer.

It's kinda different to the Osimhen's Saga. There have been many things happened on his transfer path. It started with Napoli. They set a 130m release clause. Then, Newcastle made a 100m offer, but Napoli rejected it. Even when received some offers from PL clubs, but none predicted that he would be ended on Turkish league.

Osimhen is wanting to prove himself quickly so he can go to a bigger club at the mid season. That's gonna happen only if he will able to build a good chemistry with his teammates at Galatasaray.

I'm looking forward for which club that would pay 75m for someone with 1 yr left on their contract next yea.
