For sure Chelsea will be looking to trim down their squad in the summer transfer window with some of the players on that bench at risk of being offloaded. I expect the likes of Aubameyang, Mendy, Caesar, Mount, Ziyech and Pulisic to be made available for transfer this summer. The squad is large and having a squad of such a substantial size like Chelsea do, it becomes impossible to keep the majority of players happy and that of course has a big impact on the morale around the training ground and the changing room. So I expect them to release some players and bring in vital ones to prepare fully for next season.

Does chelsea needs more players? no, they have so many talented players in the squad. chelsea can play three seasons with these same players and still win titles if they hire good manager and stop playing politics with the club. i still believe in these boys, they have so many potentials to get chelsea to elite club again. Frank Lampard should be sacked and replace immediately with good experienced coach, that should be the very first concern of the management in he summer and not to get new players, because the players are lacking good coach nothing more.

This news was busy in various media and this is certainly a good step taken by the club because they want to keep one of their talented young players for a very long time. As coach Erik ten Hag must have been very enthusiastic about this news and he was even with Garnacho when he signed the new contract. There have been many offers came for chelsea. As long as chelsea will be agreed to let some players to leave from the club in summer. Chelsea is still having a chance to buy the new players from the market during summer transfer season.
The main problem is whether the player that already targeted by chelsea interested to join in the club that played like shit this season. I guess that if many players are hoping to join in the team that can make them become even better than before.
