I am glad that Victor Osimhen finally secured a club after all the delays and tensions. Seeing this headline today, I think it is worth discussing because it has some lessons. To be a successful player, talent is not enough, character is more important. Victor made some mistakes that affected his transfer, he has anger management issues. His unguided comments about some coaches he has worked under are not okay. Coaches should have the right human management skills but no coach would like to work under a player who cannot control his emotions.

A player should respect his manager always but Osimhen has the bad character of being very arrogant. It doesn't matter what your coach says or do to you, you have to be very professional always and if you want to react, address it in a very professional way so your reputations doesn't get damage. Talent isn't everything a player needs, he needs the right behaviour to be shown always because you might not like what is happening but you have an image to protect and no manager will like to bring a disrespectful player to his club as it might make the dressing room to starts being disrespectful to him too when Osimhen gets away with being disrespectful.

If it's from Osimhen himself, I think we can believe it. I also will believe it if the source is the former footballer or a famous person who can be trusted. But if there is no valid source, just ignore the news. If we have too many sources about Osimhen's issues recently, I think the media which have the role spreading the issues. They take the advantage from any news/issues about Osimhen, people are curious about it. However as a football fan, I don't really care with the news/issues, I only want to see Osimhen playing again with his best form. I don't care about the story behind the transfer, but I want he to play again in a top team in Europe in the next season.

Most online media spread news without being supported by valid information, but some of them can be trusted, especially if they quote from a reliable source. Sometimes this is why I tend to like reading news from the club's official website rather than online news from these media. They are only interested in the interests of football fans and exploit hot rumors to increase traffic to their sites full of advertisements.

So as a solution, I like reading news from several sources and usually Fabrizio Romano is a good source to use as a reference. While other sources, just visit the official website of each club instead of reading random news on google search.

I can agree with you here. If you want reliable sources, better visit their official club websites. At least, they won't give you false information. Because when you try to read outside sources, definitely, there are opinions already and it can vary how a person is looking at the situation.

People are judgmental by nature, so they can give you some insights that are not really happening. Someone can always give his thoughts on the matter but check the references or sources. As much as possible, quote the exact words from the people involved. Because translating it can already give a new meaning.

Most of these sport news website make a living by writing stories with little substance and use clickbaits to drag the attention of viewers. Fabrizio Romano has been consistent with his reports. He always gets his facts right before posting, 96% of his tweets are accurate, which is a very commendable character to have in his line of work. Many people trust his reports on the transfer market, the number of Fabrizio Romano twitter status links on this thread is proof of that.

This news is fresh out of the oven and I think Arteta should stop his interest in Osimhen. It just ruins the atmosphere in the dressing room which is so harmonious and I don't think he wants that to happen. If Osimhen comes to Arsenal it will only mess up everything he has worked so hard to build and many players will feel uncomfortable with his behavior.

I also heard that Osimhen has parted ways with his agent and he blames his current situation on the agent's poor handling of his transfer. However, if you want to be a star then you don't need to complicate your own future and focus on fixing your less than professional attitude. When Osimhen returns from Napoli I'm not sure the offers will be as abundant as before.
It's done. He's at Galatasaray now, so let's move on. Osimhen's got talent but the kid's got some growing up to do. The drama with Napoli, the agent issues - it's a mess. He wants the Premier League, fine. But Arsenal? Not the right fit right now. Arteta's got that attack humming. Saka, Martinelli, Jesus - they're clicking. Throwing Osimhen in there could screw up the whole chemistry. Plus, the guy's gonna cost a fortune. Is it worth the risk? I don't think so

Arsenal's on the right track. They don't need a flashy signing to mess things up. Stick with what's working, build on that foundation. That's how you win titles, not by chasing every big name that comes along
What a really good attacking player has gone through is pure drama, on the one hand the managers and the club in particular have created a huge drama on this player and have damaged him in my opinion. After all, even if a young player has come to Galatasaray on loan, he will perhaps adapt here and continue to achieve new successes in Europe with other players, this is actually my wish and desire.

I think the big clubs will be very upset about missing Osimhen.

Bayern Munich actually wants a Leverkusen defender. But this transfer season Leverkusen did not let him go. He is Jonathan Tah, he has been with Leverkusen for 9 years. His contract with Leverkusen is until 2025, in his explanation he will not extend his contract with Leverkusen. Currently he is 28 years old, he wants to try his hand at another club and maybe Munich is his goal for next season. Of course, de Ligt's departure will leave 1 slot empty. It seems that Kompany is interested because Tah played well during Euro 2024 with Germany.

Source: https://www.bavarianfootballworks.com/2024/9/9/24231860/jonathan-tah-transfer-bayern-munich-germany-bayer-leverkusen-euro-2024-de-ligt-manchester-united
Bayern's desire for Tah actually occurred from the beginning but until this summer transfer closed there was no meaningful agreement between Leverkusen and Bayern which made Tah remain at Leverkusen this season although there had previously been rumors for Tah who was rumored to have agreed a personal agreement with Bayern but there was no further news on this matter.

Now he just has to focus on remaining professional at Leverkusen despite the desire to leave but because the current contract is still running then Tah must be more able to maintain an attitude by defending Leverkusen just like before.

But for the Bundesliga there is nothing different actually when there is one player who is considered potential, it will definitely belong to Bayern. and this is like a tradition where situations like this have always happened in recent seasons even though not all deals end well but I believe if Tah is still interested in Bayern then it is likely that the winter transfer will also still be crowded with rumors of Tah and Bayern in the end.

Todd Boehly is not alone in acquiring Chelsea from Roman Abramovich. Chelsea majority shares are owned by Clearlake Capital (Behdad Eghbali and Jose E Feliciano), while the remaining 38.5% is owned by Todd Boehly. As The Guardian said, both of them cannot sell Chelsea to a third party, and the biggest possibility is the purchase of each other.

If you look at the investment made by Chelsea at this time, especially in the transfer window, it seems that nothing is happening behind the scenes, Chelsea looks quite ambitious to win trophies. I believe, they will not release their respective shares in the near future, and now reportedly Chelsea top brass are looking for a resolution to avoid a conflict that could have fatal consequences for Chelsea future development.

Todd Boehly wants Chelsea resolution as Clearlake relationship breaks downhttps://www.theguardian.com/football/article/2024/sep/07/chelsea-clearlake-capital-todd-boehly-behdad-eghbali-relationship-breaks-down

Chelsea has not had peace since it was forcefully taken away from Roman Abramovich in 2022. Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital his partners promised to take Chelsea to the next level after they completed its £4.25bn takeover of the club. Boehly became the interim sporting director which led to a wasteful buying spree that brought no success. It is sad to see that cultural differences have caused deteriorating relationships which is now irreconcilable. The only known solution is for any party to sell off their stake to any partner. Since Todd Boehly has the lesser shares (38.5%), he would have to sell his stake to his partners Behdad Eghbali and José E Feliciano.

The club is still going through a lot of challenges. The coach is trying to cut down players, poor signings and they are not playing well. A leadership problem will make their problems complicated just as it affected Manchester United during the Glazer sell saga.

Now there are too many speculations circulating with different answers from many sources including Osimhen himself, this is too much if it is just a matter or fabrication from people who do not like Osimhen who wants to develop and continue his career much better in the future.
I am very curious who actually made up the story and made it seem like Osimhen's transfer has many walls. Undecided

I read reports that Chelsea president Todd Boehly wants to sell his stake in the club. He spent more than €1.5 billion in two years. Things didn't go the right way for him and Chelsea suffered huge failures. I'm sure he regrets stepping into this field, but I don't believe it's the right time to give up because Chelsea are not getting promising results and are at the bottom. If the team gets some good results he might get better offers. If he makes a sale at this point, it will be a bottom sale. Did any of us sell Bitcoin at $3,000 in January 2019? Smiley
I just heard about this, but if he is so quick to sell Chelsea again then it seems like he has given up on what he has started. I think he should reconsider it, because it has not been long and there is still a lot to be gained. Initially Boehly came to Chelsea to do business, if I am not mistaken he even made a statement that business is more important than achievement. But I think he forgot, that when the club he owns can achieve, then he can do even bigger business. But it is very unfortunate when they can't bring Chelsea at least for now. They should be able to think more balanced between business and achievement, because both will be very successful if they are on the same line.

Many of us (the Victor Osimhen fans) are so excited about the recent development because sincerely I never wanted Osimhen to move to the Saudi Pro League neither would I have liked seeing him continuing with Napoli and not playing games. Considering the circumstances, Gala is a good option, Gala fans are hyped about Osimhen and were singing chants at his unveiling. Osimhen has been very professional with the fans at Gala. He only has to score a lot of goals this season and top club will be coming for his signature once the transfer opens in January.

Mikel Arteta view, he has the necessary players in his frontline, having no complaints at all. Mikel Arteta implementing the 4-3-3 formation for league games which is absolutely running smoothly for the Gunners, because having Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in the frontline, they're executing their attacking role effectively. So bringing in another top nine will mean unclassified sectional role and ruined the good chemistry going on within the players.
Actually since the beginning Mikel Arteta at Arsenal has implemented a format system that is not much different from Pep Guardiola, but in terms of determining the striker, the only difference is that Pep still maintains Haaland as a goal machine while Arteta purely wants all players in the front line to have balanced abilities. Havertz in his hands is more useful than when he was at Chelsea. Honestly, I want Arteta to get a striker who is hungry for 1 goal but it seems that it will never happen at Arsenal.
Losing Declan Rice does not confuse Arteta for now because they still have a reserve of quite capable players in the midfield sector, the 4-3-3 formation has been Arteta mainstay formation so far and I think by implementing that formation of course Arteta will be easier to modify it in the game if needed, because indeed the formation will present 5 attackers when they attack and precisely if they defend they will have 5 defender, so I think it's very natural  if Arteta imitates Guardiola mainstay formation, in the formation which modified and used by Arteta at the moment, the central striker (Havertz) is not a vital role to score goals because Arteta focuses more on the wingers to score goals in every game they play and that's why I think Arsenal has not been too active to get a central striker, If you saw, often Arsenal central striker (Havertz) is now more mobile in moving to the midfield when every time Arsenal defend and attacks rather than acting as a pure striker who only often waits for the ball in front line so far.

With 3 foreign players not needed in the club, time is running out for Beşiktaş. Hatayspor are in the frame for Vincent Aboubakar, but Beşiktaş will have to pay most of the player's salary again.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been offered to Adana Demirspor, but the team's transfer board is still closed and they are waiting to hear from the federation. Daniel Amartey rejected Eyüpspor's offer and now Kasımpaşa has stepped in. If Amartey accepts Kasımpaşa's offer, Beşiktaş will be rid of these 3 foreign players. In this way, they will also be able to make a left-back transfer.

“Victor Osimhen is not greedy. He never asked for £500,000 a week from Chelsea"- Footballer, Mikel Obi reveals

More stories about Osimhen’s transfer saga keep coming up on the internet. Even after Osimhen has made the move to Galatasary, pundits and sports media are still talking about why the Napoli striker transfer to the premier didn’t work and his future after his loan to Gala ends. We were told the deal with Chelsea broke off because Osimhen was asking for 500k and the club would not break their wage structure for Osimhen. Mikel Obi, in his podcast, has said that is false. What a click-bait title. Anything Obi Mikel does at the moment is only clickbait for his podcast. Lemme summarize this.

Osimhen wants to leave, and Conte wants Lukaku as his replacement.

Chelsea wants a solid striker with a £140k - £150k wage range. They sent an offer to Osimhen. He replied, "I'm not taking a huge cut on my wages" then rejected it.

Napoli is worsening the situation because they still want a good fee from his transfer.

Mikel talks about Oshimen more than Chelsea did. It feels like he's Osimhen's agent. He's lost all credibility at this point.

We are not given many options that can really be trusted without official clarification from the relevant parties, be it Osimhen, Napoli and even Chelsea. but this drama has really caught the attention of football lovers, like a saga that is difficult to realize to move to one of Europe's elite clubs. certainly, there is a lot of news published by sports newspapers. but it is understandable, if most media often exaggerate the news they convey on their platforms. in conclusion, only they know for sure whether it is a deliberate story made up. or, just to attract the attention of other clubs. what is clear, Napoli failed to get big money from releasing Osimhen in the summer transfer window this. with his release clause, they made a series of ways so that big clubs would dare to pay him. unfortunately, the situation is getting more complicated because there is no agreement from all parties. finally, Gala got Osimhen's loan. however, Napoli gave the condition of a contract extension until 2027. the goal is clear, they maintain his release clause. in fact, there are other rumors circulating regarding Osimhen and other big clubs. I am very sure that Osimhen only wants to leave Napoli and join a team that is at least competing in the Champions League. Well, as we know now, Osimhen is now playing for Galatasaray.

Pep Guardiola's contract will end in the summer of 2025 but until now there has been no sign that he wants to extend his service at Manchester City. I wonder if the previous rumors about Pep Guardiola leaving at the end of the season will really happen because the coach has also created a long history with Man City so far, Pep Guardiola must immediately make his decision because finding a coach like him is not easy for the big club.

The club has anticipated that if Pep Guardiola leaves next season, the club will dig deep into its pockets to recruit many star players so that its performance remains stable and does not experience a drastic decline.
I am not sure what is left for him to win, feels like he may still sign, but also it feels like he may feel a little bored with it as well. What is he going to do, win another treble? He already got one, and won the premier league so many times, and doing fine so far.

I think he might actually leave, and go to a team that is not bad, still great, just not where the team should be. The perfect examples would be teams like PSG and Bayern, they are good, they have the money, but they are not where they should be. PSG is a great example, they haven't won the UCL, but they keep winning the league title. So Pep could go there, and try to win the UCL with them, it would be a great task for him and if he can do it, that would be very fun road for him to take.

As if City didn't spend enough under Guardiola  Grin
But in fact you are right - I saw information that the club plans to allocate 300 million to the new coach for transfers. But still, the most important thing is how the League vs. City case ends - if the League wins, then sanctions will be imposed on City and Guardiola will leave, if City can get away with it again, then he will stay and continue his dirty deeds.
What do you mean by dirty deeds? Why are you already passing judgement without any proven evidence, pep Guardiola is not going anywhere he is still going to remain the head coach of Manchester City beyond this season and you can keep yelling for all I care. Which club doesn't spend enough in the premier league? Why is it that when it comes to Manchester City you all don't hesitate to cast the first stone, why? Money don't play football hope you understand that. The league won't win any case against Manchester City because Manchester City has done no wrong. Whatever cases you are hoping that will go against Manchester City will be dismissed and all those waiting for Manchester City to be sanctioned will be disgraced.

Wow  Grin I didn't think I would see such a lunatic here.
You've spun a lot of nonsense and after your "money doesn't play football" it's obvious that there's nothing to talk about with you. But I still advise those interested in the issue to familiarize themselves with the facts, for example at least such simple ones as Mancini receiving two salaries (and the Saudi part was higher than what City paid). City is a fraudulent club, and Guardiola, who spoke on the club's side (although no one forced him to speak out regarding issues to which he has no direct relation), can be said to be an accomplice.

I agree with you. Osimhen is not a footballer with an extremely bad behavior. He is a good professional. After the Bologna game where Osimhen missed a penalty, the club's official social media account posted a video mocking Osimhen. I think that's the knot and the starting point of the problems. Osimhen was offended by that post and nothing was ever the same again. The best thing for Osimhen is not to play for Napoli anymore. I'm sure he will be very happy at Galatasaray and he will give a unique performance. And after one season at Galatasaray, he can play for Chelsea or Paris Saint Germain.
Osimhen behavior is still unstable because of his young age, he actually doesn't want to leave Napoli so quickly because he thinks the club has been instrumental in improving his career. Perhaps the root of the problem lies in the video uploaded from the club's official social media account, this action will offend anyone because penalty misses are commonplace.
Now that the relationship between the two has broken down and there is very little chance of reconciliation, the refusal to sign a new contract proposed by the club indicates that Osimhen also does not want to continue his career at Napoli. Now that he is at a different club on loan, he must be able to show his best performance while defending Galatasaray to attract the interest of other clubs to use his services.
