Declan Rice is still monitored by a few big Premier League teams these days. Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have him on their radars.

But Rice is reported to be closer to a Arsenal move recently. As Arsenal are getting close to the league championship day by day this is very helpful for them to be more impressive for players. He would like to play in the Champions League as well I assume so Chelsea's chance might be less than the others at this point. Rice would be a great addition for any team reaching an agreement with him. He is a really skilled midfielder.

Louis van Gaal is free again as a trainer. He has trained the Dutch national team for the past 1.5 years, but that task is now being performed by Ronald Koeman. Maybe some teams are interested in him. There would also be interest from the Belgian federation, because Martinez has left there. Furthermore, I don't see any big striking names appearing on the transfer market yet. There are several rumors about players, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Ajax in particular seems to have had a lousy transfer policy in terms of incoming transfers lately since the start of the competition in August.

It is not surprising that in the end, Harry Kane decided to settle down and extend his contract at Tottenham. This just wants to show that Kane is loyal to his choice and he respects the club that has raised his name. What he has decided clearly shuts down all interest from other clubs for the potential he has, good or bad he already knows the consequences regarding contract extensions. Spurs have become the home of a Kane and seen from any point of view Kane is attached to this club.

I admire him greatly for his decision to remain with his current club. He was built and raised in this club to become one of the best strikers he is today, so leaving at such a critical time would be detrimental and a betrayal to the club. I wish he could break more records with the time he has with Tottenham. He is a big name at the club, and he deserves more victories and recognition before he finally retires.
Playing 70% of matches for Tottenham every season and also winning the highest goal scorer award without a trophy is what I really feel should be changed. Kane will have a good trophy record if all his years of work were to be channeled to an outstanding team like Real Madrid, Barcelona,  or any Top team in England. At least For the years of sacrifices and dedication, i feel Harry Kane deserves more than what he gets from Tottenham, and I think leaving would have been a better option.

Gareth Bale went to Real Madrid and packed a roomful of trophies into his career. He even continued to win trophies while he was waiting there on the bench. If he had stayed at Tottenham, if he had never gone to Real Madrid, he would probably have had a career like Harry Kane. I don't know what should I say. Maybe he really likes Tottenham; there is no logic in love... However, after a few years, he will enter the category of football players who are candidates to retire and the interest of big clubs will begin to decrease...
don't really understand what Kane really wants but did say being open to a new contract with Tottenham would obviously make fans think a little about exploring options again now. But on the other hand, it's actually still fifty-fifty in my opinion, is it true that the price offered will be big in the clause because Kane is already prepared or does he really love Tottenham so he doesn't want to leave there.

The prize tag on every players signed by Chelsea is so ridiculous. How on earth will Chelsea pay the sum of 106m just for Enzo Fernandez? I believe clubs are doing this probe to Chelsea's current situation. Enzo is leaving a lower league to play the most competitive/difficult league in football, and I doubt if he will play up to the expectations. Chelsea should have a careful thought on these transfer terms, £106m is so much for a young guy who just began making a name in football.

I mean it is not unknown to people. Chelsea does make some incredibly dumb transfers. Actually no. I'm not going to say that when they brought in Lukaku for almost 100 million that did make sense. The deal just did not work out for them, unfortunately.

But this one really seems to be dumb. There is no reason for them to spend so much money on this player at all. And I also do not understand how Chelsea is spending so much money. Like 106 million euros for Enzo Fernandez? Really?

I've been talking about this for a long time, Chelsea's problem, even during Chul's time, has been spending a lot of money on meaningless signings, one of the things I like about Mourinho is that he prioritizes signing African players who have a lot of talent and they are cheap and even the players from europe and other continents that mourinho signs are very talented but cheap players

I don't understand how Tuchel went to hire Lukaku and didn't play him and in the end Lukaku left Chelsea for less than the price he was bought, this is a business with many losses, and it's been like this lately, I think someone from the board from chelsea need to start to see and solve this situation

Manchester United would look for a new striker in the summer anyway. Because Weghorst is a temporary player in the team now as he has been loaned until the end of the season.
Of course Manchester United can change their mind and decide to keep him for longer. But it depends on his performance in the end. I didn't see anything positive about him in the Arsenal game by the way. He was like a ghost in a game that we watched 5 goals in total.  Grin  But he is newly adapting to the team of course and hopefully he would start playing better in a couple of games. In fact he could have scored a goal in that game also if Rashford didn't use the ball himself to score that amazing goal.

Arsenal were absolutely dominant against Manchester United. As they should have been because Arsenal are at the top of the table and they are obviously more inclined to play aggressively against a team like Manchester United right now. But honestly, I thought Manchester United was going to get away with a draw from this match. But in the end, they could not defend themselves. And in the 90th minute, they ended up conceding.

It seems arsenal has been reaching agreement for him.

https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1724861/Arsenal-transfer-news-Ivan-Fresneda-Newcastle-Borussia-Dortmund

I think that he already agreed to join arsenal. Fresneda was not getting so much regular time to play. I hope that arsenal can see his potential. He was a good player for sure. Im sure this gonna be another successful transfer by arsenal. Fresneda seems happy to join arsenal too. 26 millions were nothing for arsenal right now. I see that he will be a long-term plan for arsenal.
arsenal now has an amazingly good talent scout, apart from fresneda there is trossard who they also managed to get in this january, with the purchase of these potential young players, some old arsenal players say this team is like it was 20 years ago (full of good young players and achievement).

Seems like Kane's looking to extend his Spurs contract until 2027. His current one is expiring in the summer of 2024.

Considering that Spurs are unlikely to qualify for the CL spots yet again, seems like a bizarre choice.
He's one of the best available forwards in world football and has been in the last 5 years or so as well, and he still hasn't won a single trophy.

Tottenham fans will be thrilled if he really does sign, he's the talisman of that team for a long time already.
Actually, at the age of 29, he is still considered mature for a striker, especially Harry Kane, whose performance has been quite stable since last season. Instead of signing a contract extension with Spurs, I think it is better for him to go to another European club. Maybe in the summer transfer market someone will be interested in bringing him in.

I would have wanted Harry to extend with Tottenham if there is a hope for trophy this season. When the season started newly I thought that Tottenham will be exceptional this season but they are not living upto expectations. So I will advice Kane to say bye to Tottenham for now,he could return in the future.

Weghorst has only played two games since arriving on loan and for us he still needs a few games to get used to the team. Weghorst's posture is suitable for an attacker to receive crosses, but the attacks built by Manchester United players rarely do so except for corners.

Against Arsenal, Rashford on the left and Antony on the right hardly crossed the ball into Arsenal's 16 which meant Weghorst had to drop into the centre to pick up the ball. We can also see how many corners Erik tem Hag's side earned during the match.

Whether or not Weghorst is retained by Erik ten Hag depends on his ability during this loan spell. If there is no positive impact that can be obtained from him, then it is certain that Manchester United will look for a new striker.

I am sorry if this sounds a little bit harsh, but Marco Reus can't provide anything to United at age 33. He was a good player back in the day there is no doubt about that, but United already has a good roster right now, and the only position they need is a striker.

If they could get a superstar there, then they do not need any more players at all, from the other 10 players on the field to even bench players, they are all perfect and should be fighting for a title if they keep this up, I mean if they started the season better, they would have been fighting against Arsenal right now, that bad start caused them to be not fighting for a title, so a striker and they could be fighting for a title next year for sure.

I have not seen the news where they said Man United is interested in Marco Rues. If its true, then questions need to be asked about United recruitment policy. Aside the fact that Rues is 33, he's also injury prone. As a younger player he was always getting injured, talk more of now that he's 33.

United need a striker quite alright, but saying that's the only position that needs filling would be incorrect. They need a creative midfielder. Bruno is not creative neither is he a play maker. They need a CM that is both a playmaker and is also creative. That aside, Antony is not a player you can rely on as a winger so they should better be hunting for a better right  winger.
That's old news. The rumor appeared again after ten hag has been facing reus's agent. The team has decided for not to continue the deal with reus's agent and cancel it. I remember that when in 2014 MU has been offering reus for 50 millions.
You can dig for some old news. The old news was getting recycled again due to the movement that was already made by ten hag. Yeah, i do agree if he was always injured and too old.
It's not worthy to sign him for united at this moment where the team was always aiming to get young talented players. Reus is too old. He care retire anytime.
It was said that United need a striker but they literally just got a new striker and he played at the last game even, Wout Weghorst. I don't think he played too badly in the Arsenal game. He served the balls well to the left and right, but I doubt whether a striker can manage to stay in United by doing just that. He plays in a team where everyone wants the ball at their feet and they have difficulty leaving the ball. Backs, wingers are not players who make crosses very often. I don't think ww can score many goals in this situation. On the other hand, Eric from Haag wants a quality pressing game like all other coaches. He didn't have a suitable player for him. Weghorst, who was the Premier League's striker who made the most presses per 90 minutes last season, showed a good performance first in Beşiktaş and then in the world cup, and the Dutch coach transferred his citizen. I don't think ten haag expected many goals from Weghorst. He will most likely give that job to the 3 players behind him.

Arsenal are taking possibilities to open negotiations to gets Valladolid wonderkid Ivan Fresneda and it say Arteta really impress to his performance although he is still 18 years old but he has make his debut with Valladolid although he still cannot to playing regular but Arteta feel Fresneda will being an potential player especially in the next few years Fresneda will change became an tough defender and apparently Fresneda also will not be refuse if there is a club who interested to him and Fresneda also will considers if there is good offers came to him and Fresneda has contract clause 26 millions poundsterling i think it's not hard for Arsenal to release that clause
To be honest at this point Arsenal's squad is fairly complete, but it seems Mikel Arteta and Edu are not quite satisfied and it was a good decision to try and get 18 year old wonderkid Ivan Fresneda from Valladolid. Ivan Fresneda plays as a right-back, it is likely that he will be used as a cover for Ben White who we know he was often withdrawn from in the second half of the match, it is likely due to his poor stamina that Arteta will try other options besides using Tomiyasu. The price clause seems to be redeemed by Arsenal, considering that for a wonderkid the price is quite reasonable.
I like the fact that Arteta is not very satisfied with what he has and this will make him achieve what he wants for Arsenal.  Left for me Arsenal squad is good.  But if they still have the money to sign more young players to make the club stronger more , that is a very good development for arsenal.

29 can be considered old enough for a football player. Kane's performance was also not as good as before. Kane has no choice other than try to stay at his safe zone. I meant if he was going to another club and he may also sit on the bench. He must compete with another striker.
He has been prioritized by totenham. The different thing once he will be leaving from totenham. He may face a difficult situation to get the regular time to play. I think that this is his reason to stay even longer in the totenham rather than going to the another club.
I don't even think he will b leaving from totenham soon. It can be said that he was a part of totenham maybe until he will be retired from football

For the main starting line-up. Arsenal already have players that Arteta can rely on, but not for second-tier players. meaning, Arsenal still need some newcomers to strengthen their squad. In fact, Arsenal's management is reportedly close to recruiting new players after inaugurating Trossard. the names of other players such as Ivan Presneda and Jakub Kiwior will soon be closer to the Emirates Stadium, we are even quite foreign to the players that will be brought in by Arsenal this January.

To be honest, I'm not familiar with Jakub Kiwior and Ivan Presneda. but if you look at the profiles of these two players, it doesn't seem like this is a panic buy. because, after being hijacked twice by Chelsea in the hunt for players. Arsenal suddenly have a hobby of shopping for economical players, not cheap but have good prospects, especially considering that one of them is a very young player.
As an Arsenal fan, I hope that what Arteta is projecting will run smoothly until the end of this season to win a trophy, either the Premier League or the Europa.

I also agree with you. Harry Kane may be dreaming of a trophy, and it looks like this season it will be very difficult for the Spurs to get.
even though previously there were rumors that Man United was interested in him. although I also don't believe that Man United will be better than Spurs, Harry Kane also has to think about his career.
but if he has decided to renew his contract with Spurs, it looks like it will be a fairly long contract and maybe his European career could have ended there.

I am surprised to know Tottenham wants to replace Conte with Thomas Tuchel?  Shocked
...

the issue is that tuchel is still expecting offers from madrid and barcelona but I'm not sure tuchel will have a place in madrid or barcelona because Ancelotti and Xavi have good qualities as coaches. I also heard that Pochettino is one of the potential coaches who will replace Conte at Tottenham, I personally also think Tuchel is the perfect coach for Tottenham, we'll see what happens next.

Yes, I would also like Maguire to find himself in a new place, to be able to overcome the black streak in his career and reach a good level. Problems and negativity snowballed around him, and if the negativity around hardened players like Ronaldo means little to them, then Maguire was clearly under endless stress.

if I become Maguire, then I will contact my agent to find a new team for me, but it seems that Maguire still has great hopes of being able to continue appearing at MU so he is willing to be on the bench even though he is still the MU captain. ten hag doesn't seem to want to make Maguire comfortable and it looks like he wants to gently get rid of Maguire.

Ivan Fresneda is a promising talent, so hearing that Arsenal is thinking about signing him is interesting. He has already made his Valladolid debut at the age of 18, and Arteta has taken notice of him. Fresneda certainly has a lot of promise and has the ability to contribute significantly to the squad in the future.

When bringing in a new player, it's crucial to take the transfer cost and the specifics of the contract into account. Although a clause worth 26 million pounds sterling may appear excessive, it's necessary to take Fresneda's potential long-term importance to the squad into account. It would be intriguing to see how Fresneda would mesh with the existing group and if he may be able to close any defensive holes. It will be intriguing to see how this prospective deal develops and if Fresneda ultimately decides to sign with the Arsenal.
