A month ago there was a rumor that Man City was looking to sign Leipzig's defender Josko Gvardiol. After that Leipzig announced that they are not too keen on letting Gvardiol go. But now it looks like Gvardiol is once again close to signing for Man City as they already agreed terms with Gvardiol and his family. Now all is left for Man City to cash out probably more than 100 million euros to Leipzig. If that happens, Gvardiol will become by far the most expensive Croatian player in history.

Al-Nassr is well recognised club ever since Ronaldo arrived, their media pages has increased rapidly. Everyone are interested to listen to the news of the club, I believe since they were able to get the world best player like Ronaldo into the club. Then they can buy any player from Europe. Al-Nassr has the money to buy any players of their choice.
Behind that all Al-Nassr certainly has a smart strategy, buying Ronaldo at a high price to divert all eyes on their club and even the whole world is talking about Al-Nassr. Arab countries are indeed different, they have strong finances and of course, Al-Nassr's shares and several brands under Al-Nassr will experience an increase and many will be interested.

Other European players may follow, Ronaldo is only a starter and there will be many more European players who will start their careers in the Saudi Arabian League. This is a very extraordinary momentum for Saudi Arabian football.

David Ospina is currently playing for Al-Nassr and he is two years younger than Keylor Navas. I think they are both equally good players. If David Ospina wants to leave the team by his own choice, Keylor Navas would be a good transfer instead... Goalkeepers can play football for many years. Buffon comes to mind first for me. He is now 44 years old and plays in Series B. Until a few years ago, he was playing for important clubs in Europe.
But unfortunately that's not the reason why Al-Nassr wants to recruit Keylor Navas, currently David Ospina is injured in the previous match and of course he also wants to stay at Al-Nassr. Maybe Al-Nassr's side want to find a cover figure to match David Ospina and here they are directing their hunt to Keylor Navas and that is very good for the club.

If it is possible for Al nassr to sign big players in European league into their club they will do so to make the club get more recognition.  Have been hearing several rumors of Al Nassr having plans to sign in some big players in Europe into their club.
It's true, I've often heard rumors about some of these players, especially since most of the recruits want veterans who have previously defended Real Madrid with Cristiano Ronaldo. This is possible because Cristiano's big name will make it easier for some of these veteran players to join Al-Nassr.

It has been decided to extend Pepe's contract at Porto until June 2025. Therefore, Pepe can continue to play until his new contract expires at forty two. Among the most complete central defenders in the history of the game. The evergreen defender should keep going as long as he enjoys it, now it seems like he may stay for years to come.
he's the oldest defender I've ever seen still in football and Pepe continues to be a mainstay in Porto's backline ahead of his 40th birthday in February, with manager Sergio Conceicao also keen to keep him even longer at the Estadio do Dragao. Apart from extending the contract, Pepe is also expected to continue to maintain his body condition so that he remains at the top level and can play for Portugal at Euro 2024.

Arsenal have also joined the race to sign Declan Rice. You know that Chelsea have been the most interested team in him in the recent times. But Arsenal's joining the race could change everything. Because Arsenal are very likely to become the champions in the English Premier League. Chelsea won't even be able to qualify for the Champions League most probably.
In this situation I assume Declan Rice would prefer to play in the Champions League. Arsenal can actually gain a big advantage in some other transfers as well while competing with big teams on the condition that they win the league title.

Yeah right, isn't that the same story they said when we wanted to sign Felix and Mudryk that they won't choose Chelsea because we aren't in the top4 position. While Arsenal may win the league and I'm happy for them because it seems like its been forever they lifted that trophy. Still Arsenal can't compete with Chelsea when it comes to transfer window. Chelsea aren't interested in Declan Rice anymore irrespective of what the media are saying. That guy is too costly especially because he's English. Yes he's a top player but not for that amount that West Ham are asking for.

They're better midfielder that we can get for way less amount and could easily outplayed Declan Rice in his position. The only reason I see Chelsea signing him is if his cost price get reduced and he's still available in the summer. Beside Chelsea has already spent so much this season already and can't afford another €100+ transfer. Arsenal can have him, he isn't a priority.

I don't know what is the main goal of Al Nassr by wanting to bring in a lot of players with European labels after they managed to get Cristiano Ronaldo, what is certain is that it will make their team better known. I won't be surprised when they manage to bring 1 or 2 more players to their club because their financial strength is so very good. I think it would be more profitable for them to carry names other than the goalkeeper. But let's see what they will do next.
I think the main goal of Al Nassr is to create a certain level of competition in the league, exposure and also draw attention of the world to Saudi Arabian league which so far has shown progress since the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo after the world cup. This has had a major effect on the club and the league entirely. Now with their financial strength and influence they can attract top players to the league.
After a few years ago the Chinese League made a big breakthrough when bringing in world-class players with lavish salary offers, now Al Nassr is trying to increase the level of the Arab League by bringing in Ronaldo. Ronaldo's arrival can lure Rival Al Nassr to bring in other top players so they can compete in local competitions. Ronaldo's arrival has not satisfied Al Nassr, reportedly they are trying to bring in Bosquets after his contract with Barcelona ends.

Arsenal have had little luck in the transfer window this January, with Chelsea beating them to sign targets Joao Felix and Mykhaylo Mudryk. I think Declan would be the perfect for Arsenal because at the moment, they are heavily reliant on Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka. So adding more players of Rice's quality could be vital if Arsenal are to have any chance of maintaining their new-found heavyweight status next season. This one is an English man and a club captain, Westham will definitely respect his choice and not the money a club wants to pay.

After Chelsea overtake Arsenal to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk, it doesn't stop Arsenal to find another good potential young winger, Arsenal now interested with Facundo Torres from Orlando City. Although Mudryk and Torres are different, Mudryk is fast and become a second striker, while Torres is a playmaker and helping the other striker to score a goal. Arsenal only have Saka who can play as left winger, so it's good to find a new replacement if Saka is injured.

I think Arsenal will only spend for around 30-40 Million Euro to sign him.

In this situation, I believe that Declan Rice is always going to prefer playing for Arsenal instead of playing for Chelsea. Because obviously if he goes to Arsenal there is a big chance that he is going to be able to win the English Premier League title with Arsenal. But with Chelsea that is not a very realistic possibility right now. I mean it is possible that Chelsea goes and wins the English Premier League title from here. But it is not probable.

I don't know if it is really true but it is claimed that Chelsea are ready to listen to offers for Sterling in this transfer window.

It has been only half a season since he joined the team. I don't understand why Chelsea can be eager to sell him already now. He isn't the reason of their bad form in the end. It is due to the team effort and some weaknesses in specific positions. Now they are trying to fix these by making new transfers. Sterling is still a good attacking player and he can be useful for Chelsea. They shouldn't be in a hurry to part ways with him just yet.
Raheem Sterling has been in find form this season for Chelsea and I believe he has up to 5 to 6 goals for the club so far so I don't think Chelsea will be thinking of making such decisions at this moment especially now that they are trying to improve the squad, they will be needing all hands on deck and Raheem Sterling happens  to be one of the standout players in the team so I doubt this news is true.
About Depay.

There is a small rumor here in Italy about a potential swap between Inter and Barcelona.

Depay from Barca to Inter and Correa from Inter to Barca.
Inter who are currently in a crisis of players on the front lines due to injuries to Joaquin Correa and Romelu Lukaku, really want to bring in Depay even though the player rarely gets to play in Barcelona. The limited stock of players on the front lines forces Inter to find a solution to continue to fill its front line with quality striker.
Depay condition at Barcelona made it easy for Inter to bring him in, moreover Barcelona had included Depay on the sale list when the transfer market opened. Apart from Inter, Atletico also really want Depay after Felix left, who moved to Chelsea. Inter and Atletico's interest in Depay has made it easier for Barcelona to let the player go to another club.

Losing important players to injuries in-between windows is a major problem and Inter Milan are currently facing injury troubles. Thank God we are in the transfer window and the window gives opportunity to recruit new players as well as sell out players. Memphis Depay to Inter Milan sounds like an interesting move to me but I'm not so sure Barcelona will be open to selling the Depay despite not making him a regular starter, they still value him and thinks his services will come needy on the long run.

Liverpool are also preparing for a move to sign Ruben Neves after Newcastle have started to be interested in him.

As you know Liverpool have been in search of a decent attacking midfielder for a long time. They had an eye on Bellingham and in fact they still have. However Real Madrid seem very likely to sign him as the player is eager to choose them over Liverpool. However I don't know if Neves would be a good choice for Liverpool to solve the problems in the midfield. Neves is a decent player but I think it would be better for Liverpool to sign a more skilled midfielder. I'm sure they can find the right player if they become a little more patient.

Of course, Jude Bellingham is going to choose Real Madrid over Liverpool. Real Madrid is currently performing well and far better compared to Liverpool. Liverpool has just not been up to the mark this season. So, it is hard for them to attract any player right now. And that is the reason why they are not being able to get Jude Bellingham.

But at the same time, I will say that Rúben Neves is also not a bad player. Actually, he is a quite good and good proof to be a good player for Liverpool. He's going to bring good quality and depth to the squad.

It seems to me to be a completely unfair exchange, if it does happen. Yes, he is a good player, but Depay has more advantages, besides he is already well established in Barcelona and he will not need to adapt if anything. Although the market price of both players is the same and if you look on this side, the exchange is equivalent
Well barcelona still trying hard to reduce the wage bill after they have applied the salary reduction several times to barcelona players for over 30% since last year ... this time they are trying to reduce it by exchanging players ... it's understandable so yeah it's not just about the transfer strategy.

Not a bad deal one though especially correa have 20% lower in salary compared to depay.

As far as I know, the player has to accept the deal as well. Meaning, if you convince the club then you need to convince the player as well to make the transfer work. If the player wants to go to Arsenal and not Chelsea, then he could say no and would either stay at his club or he will be sold to Arsenal, meaning he probably wasn't too against playing at Chelsea either.r

I also disagree with their transfers, it wasn't as good as people think it was, players they got are not THAT great, at least not as great as the money they spent, if they spent %50 of this and got these players I would say ok, but they paid waaaaay too much for the players they got and that's why it doesn't look that great at all.

Chelsea seriously got it wrong in sacking Tuchel, he wasn’t performing but you have to consider your options before getting him out and at that time nobody available was better than him. Even Liverpool is having a bad season but they are skeptical about sacking Klopp because of lack of better options. Right now Chelsea are stuck with Potter and they can’t sack him too except Tuchel decides to come back
Yeah, Chelsea new management done big mistake in sacking Thomas Tuchel which is now causing for the two loses one team's performance is still on decline, and they are having chance to be out of the top six spots from Premier League which could be big lost for them and with this many big players are bought by Thomas Tuchel now on sell from Graham Potter with most chances they have to suffer in money as well because mostly will be not gone on same price which were offered for brought them here, and they are not able to perform good under the new coach which is surely big setback for the club and management.

Even Graham Potter is bringing few new players but still no guaranteed to be having good results from them as well because they are going badly down and now just few weeks with big challenge against Borussia Dortmund is also coming hopefully things could be positive for them.

Todd Boehly has been bossing the transfer market for Chelsea so far, pulling deals and making things happen. Chelsea management are seriously making efforts to strengthen their side and eager to turn things around. I guess Boehly's project in the long run is interesting as you say and joint with the mouthwatering offers Murdryk could not resist. I don't blame the player anyway because he had little or no choice after the club had agreed a deal with Chelsea for his signature.
I am quite disappointed with this news, because initially Mudryk really wanted to play with the Gunners. however, it seems Donetsk is reluctant to let go of Mudryk at the nominal price offered by Arsenal. in the end Chelsea succeeded in hijacking Arsenal's move to bring in this young winger from Shakhtar Donetsk, something quite fantastic with what the Chelsea boss had done. at least now Chelsea has several newcomers and what is interesting, will Chelsea still be hunting for other players, especially for midfielders in this January transfer window.
Speaking of Arsenal, by the way it looks like Arteta has no other choice but to sign a pure Striker this January. the reason is, Arsenal really need a striker services purely for the needs of his team. Arteta needs other options, apart from only relying on Eddie Nketiah, who has yet to prove his sharpness.

Chelsea has got good signings in the past few months which will boost up their performance in the coming weeks for sure.
But I have to say that I did not like how they snatched out Mudryk from Arsenal.

I think the player himself wanted to play for Arsenal in the first place,
and maybe his previous team just wanted to give him a way to whoever paid a bit more money and in this case that was Chelsea.
Whatever, I hope that with the recent signings, Chelsea will be able to overcome the tough phase they are going through.
