Exclusive: Chelsea official proposal for Enzo Fernández was never €120m or €127m. The final proposal made to Benfica was €85m fee. Chelsea have never discussed €120m release clause. There’s NO agreement at all after new meeting in the afternoon, as revealed earlier.
As things stand, Chelsea & Benfica have not scheduled new meeting after talks collapsed.
Rui Costa always said: €120m [clause] or no way. Chelsea verbally discussed that with Benfica then official bid was €85m. No deal.

I think I'm the happiest Chelsea fan right now, frankly speaking that amount that was circulating all over the web of Chelsea wanting to pay for Enzo Fernandez was too much and might put Chelsea into financial crises in the sense that we wouldn't be able to buy any more players in this transfer window or the summer meanwhile we have problems at our right back due to Reece James not be available and we need a replacement as soon as possible.

€120 is too much for a player that was never under any radar in the last few years but just because of winning a world cup he's no been hype to that amount. We suddenly forgetting that the Argentina team were impressive around and when that happens it makes everybody looks good. Benfica should accept Chelsea bid of €85 as that's even too big for a player like Fernandez.
I think Chelsea are being smart in this window, trying to minimize reckless spending and still going for the best possible options in the market. Chelsea's €85 m should be enough to sign Enzo Fernandez except Benfica are just raising the value to fend off interests from other clubs who are interested in the player. Chelsea also need to worry about getting one or two defenders to add up to their defensive options.

Blind has left Ajax. He went to Bayern Munich on a free transfer. It is remarkable that a club like Bayern Munich brings in this player. He is elderly and has not been able to keep up with the pace lately. Maybe teammate Mathijs de Ligt put in a good word for him in Munich? There are several former Ajax players in that team. I think this level is a bit too high for him. Donny van de Beek has a nightmare scenario following his transfer from Ajax to Manchester United a few years ago. Only injuries and it never seems to be able to become the Donnie he was at Ajax again.

Bayern Munich got an amazing signing without wasting any money. This signing will give them good experience in defence and can help them. Blind also got an amazing move i didnt expect him to join just like that one of the best clubs in the world
That's right, his age is still quite good because he's only 32 years old and that I don't think is too old.
At least there will be two tough defenders from the Netherlands for Bayern now that De Ligt is also here and of course this will be quite a good thing.
Now Bayern's defense is strong enough but most likely there will be some shifts and it is not impossible that there are players who leave in the transfer this time in defense for Bayern.

We have some rumors about a potential LOAN of Joao Felix from Atletic Madrid to Manchester United

He is still very young, 23 years old and a potential crack in the right circumstances.

It looks like most of their new transfers are likely to arrive by the summer. David Datro Fofana is here now but let's see how big impact he can make. Chelsea need a big improvement in their scoring potential.
Meanwhile, Chelsea is risking their position in the Premier League, which has shrunk, aka dropping with their poor performance. In the summer transfer, I don't know what steps will be taken by Chelsea in the midst of demands to qualify. Unlucky season at the same time detrimental to the stability of the Chelsea manager himself. With the target of buying next season, it is certainly quite difficult because adapting amidst the demands will make Potter frustrated.

Chelsea have made an Nkunku transfer also for the attacking line. They are like ready to spend whatever amount of money is needed to be spent now. Nkunku has been a really effective player for Leipzig so far. He isn't mainly a centre-forward but he can play in that position also actually. Because he is already playing near there as he is a second striker. His scoring potential is quite big at the same time considering his statistics now. But I'm worried about one thing about this transfer.

They signed Werner before as you know. Werner was also amazing as a scorer back in the day. But after joining Chelsea he just started to perform very poorly. He wasted so many goal opportunities and it was one of the disappointing deals for Chelsea. I hope they don't have the same experience with Nkunku again.

I think the real problem with Everton is absolutely related to the management of the team. Lampard is obviously not the right choice for the team. We even haven't figured out what team is fitting him the best. Because he didn't have a good time period with Chelsea in the past as well. Maybe he still needs more experience as a manager to improve his skills.

Everton weren't usually this much bad before. Maybe they weren't having solid seasons either but at least they were able to finish at middle positions at worst. They need to make their move to bring back those times.
I watched how their last game turned out and thought to myself that Lampard here at Everton is simply not the magic hand the team needs. They struggled to get a good reading and to understand the chances they have to convert into goals was the biggest flex of the day.  Lampard needs to adapt to life as a manager and be done with that player/captain style of leadership management he is exuding.

Ibrahim Konate is an important player and a key member of Klopp's defensive line despite not starting many games for Liverpool but he has done so well as a backup centre back been played in big games for Liverpool, I doubt Liverpool will be open to selling him to Real Madrid, he has barely played complete two seasons for Liverpool. If Liverpool sell Konate that only means they will have to sign a new centre back so I doubt Liverpool will sell Konate atleast not in this window.
I think Liverpool wouldn't be too against selling Konate as long as the price is right. If Real offers something decent then they could end up working towards making this happen, and I feel like that would be a good thing for both teams.

Real doesn't really lack a defender, rudiger plus militao is a good defensive line but Konate would make it a bit stronger, would probably be bench again there but would give them a chance to rest players more often. Liverpool would get a lot of money for their bench player and could end up buying a good left wing as well to help them. All in all it would be good for both teams, a win-win type of situation without a doubt.

I don't think so. Enzo itself already agreed with chelsea but benfica was only let him go once chelsea paid 120 millions. Rui costa was a fucking greedy. Look at how garbage team like benfica got defeated by braga easily. That proves that benfica is not a reliable team for enzo. Enzo's career can gradually increase once he will be going to the chelea. I don't like the way how benfica's president was insulting chelsea in front of enzo.
Enzo doesn't like with that team anymore. that's why enzo wanna go to the stamford bridge.
Chelsea have give offering about 80 million euro for Enzo Fernandez but Benfica not reach agreement without get offering above 130 million euro, edit not 120 million euro reported from uk.dailynews. I don't think how crazy with Benfica asking above 130 million euro for Enzo Fernandez due he has impressive performance in World Cup 2022 only.

Can't predicting he will success adapt with Primer League and seems most expensive if Chelsea agree pay above 130 million euro, actually Enzo Fernandez not really have much experienced in Champion League and few trophies collected due his career as professional football. Seems 80 million euro could be good deal for Chelsea and Benfica reach transfer for Enzo Fernandez.

Chelsea almost seem to be able to buy whatever they want. But how many players were really good that they bought in recent years? Ziyech is also allowed to leave again and has never really had a starting place under the new coach. When Kampard was a coach, he thought very differently about the policy. Werner couldn't live up to it either. They make a lot of purchases, but they don't bring in real global players. Maybe that's the mistake they make at the club. They try to sit just below it, while a club with that much money could better build security with other investments. You need players like Ronaldo, Messi, Lewndowsky. You used to have Drogba at Chelsea.

I don’t think they need another striker. They have Gabriel Jesus, 25 who’s currently injured and Eddie Nketiah, 23 has been the one playing in his absence. One thing I know about Eddie Nketiah's contract was the fact that he will be the second striker in the team. And Arsenal won’t want to breach that contract terms with him. Besides Osimhen is a first team player and a starter, there’s no way Arteta can keep him on the bench and play Gabriel Jesus or Vice versa. They are on the verge of signing a versatile winger and he will add depth to the attacking department and I it’s what Arsenal need at the moment.

This was my thought before Manchester City or rather Pep Guardiola changed my view. look very well at Manchester city before Jesus left them, he was playing second to Aguero and they won tittles. Just look at the current city attack they have Alvarez playing second Fiddle to Haaland. So squad depth is something you need to challenge for not just League titles but also for European trophies. So it’s a great thing if they feel to bring in another top striker

It is believed that The FA Cup match against Manchester United might determine Lampard's future at Everton. Lampard barely saved the team from relegating from the English Premier League last. I was hopeful about them to recover by the beginning of this season but nothing has changed obviously. They can't win games properly and this is hindering them from saving themselves from the relegation area. They are very likely to leave their fate to chance on the final weeks.

I don't know if Everton have plans about some other manager to bring soon. If they don't then we might see Lampard until the end of the season. But even if he saves the team again I don't think that Everton would like to continue with him.

as the dutch newspaper 'de telegraaf' reported on thursday, the free agent and defensive player Daley Blind is already on his way to munich. a contract until the end of this season plus an option for another year is being sought with the 32-yo dutchman. DB contract at ajax amsterdam had been terminated shortly after christmas

This transfer could definitely make sense for every party that is involved, which is always the best case scenario in this business. First of all Blind obviously does not have a club at the moment and now he maybe has the chance to play for one of the biggest and best clubs in the world. It also makes sense from the perspective of Bayern Munich. Sadly Lucas Hernandez suffered a major injury and he will miss the rest of this season. This is a very heavy blow for Bayern in my opinion. With  Blind they would have another player for the defense, which is always a good thing because it is possible that another defense player gets injured.
Bayern needs players, and at the same time Daley Blind also needs a team, it's a mutually beneficial partnership even though for a while the contract is quite short. But that's also still with the option of extension where if Daley Blind plays well then I think Bayern Munich will not hesitate to extend his collaboration. Bayern Munich has taken a good first step in filling the current vacant position.

If Chelsea does not pay his full 106 million release clause up front, Benfica will not sell Enzo Fernandez to them. Following several unsuccessful attempts, Chelsea no longer wants to talk about Enzo Fernandez. Enzo will never be worth that much money, so they will regret it later. For that player, that's a lot of money. A third of the money could be used to sign another player that Benfica is asking for. What will happen to Enzo? Most likely, he'll stay.
What Benfica did was only proof that they actually intended to keep Enzo. Chelsea is therefore given a high price, as it has been shown that talks regarding Enzo to Chelsea have ended in failure. Chelsea's unfavorable fate this season, apart from facing player transfer problems, now the Chelsea manager still hasn't confirmed the players he wants to target in the summer.

Chelsea is quite active right now in looking for new players, their position which is now in the middle of the standings is certainly not a good enough achievement so that it requires Chelsea to recruit new players especially some time ago Chelsea has been abandoned by some of their important players, weak defense Chelsea after left by Rudiger and several other defenders was the reason for Chelsea to dare to pay Badiashile handsomely, apart from that I think Badiashile ability to perform aerial duels will further strengthen Chelsea defense, now it is reported that Chelsea is also still targeting several other players such as Enzo Fernandes, Declan Rise and Mudryk, so let's see what other surprises Chelsea will give their fans in the January transfer market..!

Chelsea don't want to pay that kind of money for Enzo Fernandez and on the other hand Benfica won't let the player go if not for the price they want, in this case it will be difficult to find a deal, unless they look at options for the transfer to go smoothly. I also think maybe the money would be more useful to Chelsea if it was allocated to other players, in other words they bought other players. Actually they can do it, it's just that maybe for now it's Enzo who is more attractive to Chelsea.
Benfica can make a mistake by not selling Enzo.  After all, now he has shined and can be sent from the team with high costs.  The world cup has just ended.  Enzo is an important name, but being given so much money wears out the clubs financially.  Chelsea may not want to be in trouble with this transfer.  The premier league is a tough league.  Of course, they have to be more careful about the transfer.
Benfica took advantage of Enzo Fernandez's good moments at the Qatar world cup too much so they set a very high price, I also think it will be a big mistake for benfica if they are too selfish in maintaining a high price.
because gradually it is not impossible that Enzo Fernandez's performance will decline with Benfica especially since the player now wants to start a career in a top European team, so I think it is difficult for Benfica to hold him back if they force it, it will be a big loss for the Benfica team.

Regarding the transfer rumors with Chelsea, it is now very rushed, Chelsea considers that Benfica does not respect them with no further discussions except for a predetermined price.

Chelsea made a lower bid than what Benfica wanted. benfica will expressly not release Enzo Fernandez if chelsea is unable to meet the asking price according to what benfica wants. It is this one side that hampers the agreement between Chelsea and Benfica. In addition there is no clear spot whether Chelsea will move forward to submit a higher bid or Chelsea will look at other options by looking at other players.

Regarding Rafael Leao, it looks like he will agree to a new contract proposed by AC Milan because in some news, Tonali leaked that Leao was very happy at Ac Milan.
