If Chelsea does not pay his full 106 million release clause up front, Benfica will not sell Enzo Fernandez to them. Following several unsuccessful attempts, Chelsea no longer wants to talk about Enzo Fernandez. Enzo will never be worth that much money, so they will regret it later. For that player, that's a lot of money. A third of the money could be used to sign another player that Benfica is asking for. What will happen to Enzo? Most likely, he'll stay.
What Benfica did was only proof that they actually intended to keep Enzo. Chelsea is therefore given a high price, as it has been shown that talks regarding Enzo to Chelsea have ended in failure. Chelsea's unfavorable fate this season, apart from facing player transfer problems, now the Chelsea manager still hasn't confirmed the players he wants to target in the summer.

I'm not sure that Benfica wants to keep Enzo Fernandez, Benfica just wants to sell the prices of its players for a very high transfer fee. Likewise with another young player, Goncalo Ramos. Benfica is no doubt like the club from the German League, namely Dortmund, they want to sell their young players for a very high transfer value. that is why until now, negotiations for Enzo have been very tough even though the midfielder has actually been willing to play with Chelsea.

in fact, the journalist Fabrizio Romano has stated on his social media. that there is no agreement for the sale of Enzo Fernandez to Chelsea, but there is still time for Chelsea to finalize this deal. however the longer it drags on, the more likely it is that another club steps in and hijacks the deal.

I'm sure, if Chelsea bring Enzo to Stamford Bridge, he can become a mainstay player in midfield to help Chelsea's front line. even so, if Benfica continues to insist on an unreasonable transfer fee. I think it's better for Chelsea to look for other players who have the same qualities as him.

Chelsea don't want to pay that kind of money for Enzo Fernandez and on the other hand Benfica won't let the player go if not for the price they want, in this case it will be difficult to find a deal, unless they look at options for the transfer to go smoothly. I also think maybe the money would be more useful to Chelsea if it was allocated to other players, in other words they bought other players. Actually they can do it, it's just that maybe for now it's Enzo who is more attractive to Chelsea.
Benfica can make a mistake by not selling Enzo.  After all, now he has shined and can be sent from the team with high costs.  The world cup has just ended.  Enzo is an important name, but being given so much money wears out the clubs financially.  Chelsea may not want to be in trouble with this transfer.  The premier league is a tough league.  Of course, they have to be more careful about the transfer.

At least Arsenal have tried their best to shoot at the opponent's goal and it is a pity that Arsenal were unable to penetrate the defense of Newcastle, this is very unfortunate but it is better to get a draw than to lose and reduce Arsenal's points.
The draw that Arsenal just got is not a bad result for Arteta's team, their failure to penetrate the Newcastle defense indicates that Arsenal must look for a striker who can act as a differentiator. A typical striker like Benzema needs to be brought in while Jesus is injured, Arsenal must move in the transfer market to maintain performance in order to maintain its position in first place in the Premier League. Arsenal are also the top team in the Europa League due to their good performances since the start of the season, Arteta needs to find a strategy to deal with teams that are more dominant in defense to continue the positive trend.
Both teams performed well in that match. since they are now in good shape. Yes, Arsenal needs a strong striker, but there were other factors at play in the Newcastle game as well. In the league, Newcastle United features some of the best defenders. Arsenal made an attempt, but they were unsuccessful.

Gabriel Jesus, a striker who can breach any defense, was injured in the match, and Arsenal really missed him.

Arsenal needs to acquire a backup striker during the January transfer window. Beneze will not fit in at Arsenal. Arsenal needs a strong striker like Napoli's Osiemeh. Arsenal needs a striker of such caliber.
I don’t think they need another striker. They have Gabriel Jesus, 25 who’s currently injured and Eddie Nketiah, 23 has been the one playing in his absence. One thing I know about Eddie Nketiah's contract was the fact that he will be the second striker in the team. And Arsenal won’t want to breach that contract terms with him. Besides Osimhen is a first team player and a starter, there’s no way Arteta can keep him on the bench and play Gabriel Jesus or Vice versa. They are on the verge of signing a versatile winger and he will add depth to the attacking department and I it’s what Arsenal need at the moment.

Leo is resting.
Anyone who criticizes Ronaldo for making a move to the Al Nassr is not a fan because this is indeed a huge progress for Ronaldo. This is indeed a historical move that will go down in history. Ronaldo has achieved everything he wished to achieve in Europe and there is nothing left for him to accomplish. There’s no better time for this move. I only expect a return to Europe on managerial appointment. This will take his mind of the disastrous half season with Manchester United.

I'm a big fan of Ronaldo and am pleased with his decision to join Al Nassr after all the drama that got his contract terminated in Manchester United and how he was also humiliated by the Portuguese coach during the world cup in Qatar. It is big progress for Ronaldo to become the highest-paid footballer at age 37 when most of his mates are already retired and some are still struggling to get offers that will keep them on the pitch for one or two seasons but here is Ronaldo making more history with his new club and that's a whole lot of achievements if you ask me.

The return of Ronaldo to Europe as a manager won't be a bad idea because Ronaldo has done well for himself and the clubs he has been with and judging from the experience he has gathered from the managers he has worked with I don't think he will find the managerial work difficult.

This happened only because Arsenal do not have good players in the substitute bench. If Arsenal had good players on the bench, I think Arsenal could win the last match against Newcastle United. But obviously, that did not happen. Arsenal needs to bring in some new players so that they have better options on the bench. Otherwise, they might have to see the same thing happening which happened to them in the last match. And a coach cannot make good replacements if there are not good players who can be brought in on the field as good replacements.

Yes, this is very reasonable considering Arsenal want to maintain the top of the standings but are constrained by the lack of options for their players to meet the club's needs. One of their target players, Mykhalo Mudryk, does not seem to be moving closer to Arsenal, in fact, now the player wants to join Chelsea. In my opinion, Arsenal need refreshment in the attack line and hope that Mikel Arteta will find these new players soon.
I don't think the lack of selection of players on the bench is not the reason why Arsenal can only get a draw in the last match. The main reason was because Newcastle played well so that they closed the space created by Arsenal to penetrate their defense.
But if the point of this discussion is to add good players, I agree. Because they need a team that is more mature and ready again under any circumstances, so they must have good squad depth.

That's right, when you see the two teams competing, they actually did very well. Arsenal are not bad in terms of their attack but Newcastle are also very disciplined in defense so a draw in this match I think is appropriate because at least 1 point is much better in my opinion than dropping points in this match.

On the other hand, Arteta is now starting to actively look for even though in this case it seems a little closed but indeed I believe Arteta and Arsenal's scouts are trying to find several players who are suitable for Gabriel's alternative.

I think the ability to sign good players is one of the most needful features of a good coach. Most coaches may figure out that a particular arm of the squad needs an overhaul but they find it difficult to get the right player to fit in. I see this to be Mikel Arteta's advantage over other England coaches. He doesn't spend too much on the transfer market yet he gets what the team requires. With Murdryk's arrival, Arsenal now has an option on how to manage Gabriel's injury while expecting mac Allister. Compared to other contenders in epl and the Europa league, I think Arsenal is more prepared for the challenge ahead
Signing a new player is pretty much the same like gambling with our luck. You can see that how chelsea was signing lukaku after it has been performing so well in intermilan but after lukaku gone back again to the chelsea and he was become useless players again. There are lots of aspects that make the players can be very beneficial to the club or not.
Arteta was lucky enough caused by he has made so many successful transfers unlike its competitor chelsea which was not so lucky in buying the new players.
It's not all about the price but it's about how good the player that can adapt with the situation in the club.
The sole purpose of signing new players is to strengthen the team and boost team performance but sometimes the factors considered before teams make signings don't fulfill the sole aim of making these purchases. Chelsea have had issue with most of their signings in recent years, now Chelsea have to be more specific and focused on criteria marked out for making their targeted signings not just signing players for the records and for jersey sales.
I know that's the main intention by the team to strengthen the team by buying the new players but we must also learn from what happened in past. I can remind you that a team like chelsea who has been trying to sign the new striker so many times and almost all of these strikers were zonk. Chelsea was wasting so much money just to discover a striker that has same type as drogba.
Drogba is a legend for chelsea. It seems like that when a club bought a new player and it doesn't even mean the new player can strengthen the team. It must be noted if club hopes new player can give contribution to the club

I think Simeone's dislike of him this season is one of the reasons this can still happen. Only 6 out of all La Liga games has he started even though he did quite well in the games he did when given the chance but he has always been unfair in my opinion this season.
It is now reported that Joao will be seeking a loan move until the end of the season but there has been no response so far.
It's very selfish for a coach when what you say is true. Joao Felix hasn't had many chances so far, although I see he deserves more trust than Diego Simeone. But it seems coach Simeone's thoughts are different from what we think. There is no other choice for Joao other than he has to find a new club that can give him enough playing opportunities. So far several Premier League clubs are interested in signing him, but until now the rumours have never developed into serious talks between the two parties to get an agreement.
He is still one of the good players but it seems that in this case Simeone is still too selfish when he continues to impose his will even though it is getting longer at least for the last 2 seasons Atletico's performance has not had much development with the boring defensive formation he has done.
But it's strange that the club officials there still continue to detain this coach even though I feel his current condition is not too good to be maintained.

Ibrahima Konate has into Real Madrid radar and they will attempts to hijack him from Liverpool although Konate has long duration contract with Liverpool until 2026 but Real Madrid are taking possibilities to bought him this summer and reported Ancelotti has been talk with Madrid management and this summer he want this player will arrived at Madrid however since arrived to Liverpool on summer 2021 Konate performance has been showed good progress and with Van Dijk he can performing well on Liverpool defense so it's not easy to gets him because i am sure Liverpool wouldn't sell him easily
Ibrahim Konate is an important player and a key member of Klopp's defensive line despite not starting many games for Liverpool but he has done so well as a backup centre back been played in big games for Liverpool, I doubt Liverpool will be open to selling him to Real Madrid, he has barely played complete two seasons for Liverpool. If Liverpool sell Konate that only means they will have to sign a new centre back so I doubt Liverpool will sell Konate atleast not in this window.

Manchester United are still pushing for signing Joao Felix. But their intention seems to be a loan deal for now. Their latest offer is said to be like 4 million euros. However Atletico Madrid's expectation is like three times this amount. In this case there is no way there will be an agreement between these sides. I can understand Atletico Madrid that they don't want to lose him for a small amount.

But Manchester United might lose their interest in a loan deal after this enquiry. They can actually sign him on a permanent deal if they are really serious about this.

It seems like that simeone itself that must be sacked from atletico madrid. So far there was no improvement that happened with the club under him. I meant we must also aware with the fact that if the performance from atletico under him was getting degrade anytime. I think that simeone must be the problem in the club. Felix itself already got an offer from MU. MU was giving a very cheap offer for him and it seems like that atletico madrid was feeling dilemma right now whether the club wanna try to let him go to the another club or he will stay with atletico.
I hope that felix will be getting the best thing for him

Exclusive: Chelsea official proposal for Enzo Fernández was never €120m or €127m. The final proposal made to Benfica was €85m fee. Chelsea have never discussed €120m release clause. There’s NO agreement at all after new meeting in the afternoon, as revealed earlier.
As things stand, Chelsea & Benfica have not scheduled new meeting after talks collapsed.
Rui Costa always said: €120m [clause] or no way. Chelsea verbally discussed that with Benfica then official bid was €85m. No deal.
Source: Fabrizio Romano

I think I'm the happiest Chelsea fan right now, frankly speaking that amount that was circulating all over the web of Chelsea wanting to pay for Enzo Fernandez was too much and might put Chelsea into financial crises in the sense that we wouldn't be able to buy any more players in this transfer window or the summer meanwhile we have problems at our right back due to Reece James not be available and we need a replacement as soon as possible.

€120 is too much for a player that was never under any radar in the last few years but just because of winning a world cup he's no been hype to that amount. We suddenly forgetting that the Argentina team were impressive around and when that happens it makes everybody looks good. Benfica should accept Chelsea bid of €85 as that's even too big for a player like Fernandez.
