Boehly is backing Potter for now maybe but I don't think this will go on for a very long time. I think a similar scenario to what Barcelona had between Laporta and Koeman can happen in the summer. You might remember that Laporta also supported Koeman despite the bad results. But not much time later he decided to part ways with him and brought Xavi in his place. I think Potter will also be sacked by Chelsea if the results don't improve too much in the remaining matches.

Potter made a statement like he wasn't the real problem in this. But if we still don't see any improvement until the end of the season then I'm afraid he will also have a big contribution to this mess.
I don't still see any remaining matches. Any result chelsea has from now onward will be a preparatory measure for the next season's achievement. I'm just worried that they can likely not see anything to achieve apart from EpL which Manchester, Liverpool, and Man City are very much involved.
Chelsea in the hands of Toed Boehly may not be too productive with analysis from this initial look of things. He is not serious about the results. Result was very important for Ibrahimovic which was why chelsea rise to this level.

I wonder how Neymar can be persuaded to drop his contract with PSG (which is valid until 2027) and switch to a lower salary in a more difficult league? I think it's unrealistic. We have already seen that PSG were unhappy with Neymar, but this did not bother him much and he allowed his contract to be extended automatically from 2025 to 2027. I think Neymar is arrogant enough to even sit on the bench and still get his huge salary.
The fact that Neymar may leave and for Newcastle is showing that he is definitely not happy at the club right now. I am not saying it will happen, but the moment he does decide to leave, that will be proof enough. Who would leave a team like PSG and then joins a team like Newcastle? It is obvious that he wasn't happy and that is why he would end up leaving as well.

I know that it is not going to be easy to buy him, they will have to pay a ton of money to get him, Neymar is not a cheap player but even the worse part is that he is not always healthy, so if they buy him and then he misses many games? That would be terrible for any team and a reason to worry about getting him.

In short, a Neymar move is only hypothetical and the window for that move will close very quickly as Neymar ages and his brand fades.
It is rather ironic that the most expensive player in history (at the time of that transition, that amount spent by PSG was absolutely cosmic) is now a burden for the club (including due to the payroll, where he takes up a lot of space that could be spent on other players) and to get rid of it you need to spend the same space money.

There is an interesting controversy for right wing back Onur Bulut. He terminated his contract with Kayserispor for 1 million Euro but Kayserispor returned the money and extended his contract for 3 more years. It looks like Kayserispor try to get 2.5 million Euro more but legally they have no right for this. Onur Bulut already signed a new contract with Beşiktaş. I think this decision will be upheld by the court. Kayserispor's request for extra money won't be accepted.
Onur Bulut finally found a new home in one of the big clubs. I don't think he would accept to play in a small Anatolian club anymore.

Talking of helping the club I'm overall, is the club helping him at all? Currently, I will say it's Joao Felix if any one asks me who is doing undoubtedly well for chelsea. Joao Felix will offer more than he shows if t all other players best is as good as joao's. If u doubt it, count his contribution per match and compare it to every other attacker.
Some people have suggested that Joao Felix will play better as the top striker for Chelsea, but I do not agree with them because watching Felix play, he does better running from the midfield towards goal than being placed at the center as the main striker. Havertz has not been impressive, but there is something about him that offers hope, but still I think Chelsea another pure striker since they are into the buying business, they need a new coach as well, that is very obvious by now.

I do not know for how long the Chelsea owner is going to continue with this coach. This is certainly getting a little out of hand. The performance of Chelsea is not good. And you don't have to be an expert to understand that. Every football fan, actually, even if you are not a fan, will understand that Chelsea is not performing well and the main reason behind that is the coach. And as long as that is not getting fixed, Chelsea will not be able to perform better. Doesn't matter how much money they spend. Probably the owner does not even know what ROI is. And probably he's also prepared to lose everything to keep this coach.
His condition is a little difficult because if he is released now then a lot of money will be spent again besides looking for a new coach this can also be a big compensation for Potter considering his current condition is only a few months at Chelsea.
I think for this season they will still hire Potter but for next season I think it will be difficult.

According to this latest news report the board of Chelsea football club the owner Todd Boehly had backed Graham Potter to continue to manage the club after some poor runs, recall Chelsea had just won 2 out of 14 matches in all competitions, a poor record for such a big club having spent so much in buying players in the last two transfer, despite all the injuries suffered by some of their players the club has depth in terms of reserve players yet the club hasn't made any progress both in the league and in Europ, I believe club owner wanted to give Graham Potter more time perhaps he might improve the team else he might be  sacked.
Link: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/64704536
I really thought that the Chelsea owners would definitely retain the current coach but we know that Potter needs time to manage the club for the better even though many out there want them to fire Potter as Chelsea coach.

Let's say this season they won't get anything including a place in the champions league next season they won't enter. What's clear is that the next season must be a better team because Todd Boehly's hope as the owner of Chelsea who has spent a lot of money has to wait longer to see his team back on the good track.

Only now how can Chelsea take advantage in the second leg of the champions league despite being left behind 1-0 on aggregate.

So, the scenario is that Todd Boehly will give Potter a chance, like when Arsenal management gave Arteta a chance in his first season. makes sense, but the Chelsea fans' insistence continues to reverberate to sack the coach. it honestly wouldn't be fair if it didn't give Graham Potter a chance, at least until the end of this season.

And as we all know, Potter came at a time when Chelsea weren't in the best of shape. actually, I agree if Potter is given the opportunity to prove that he can take Chelsea in a better direction. it's just, I'm not sure Potter can bring Chelsea better next season. the thing is, I haven't seen the system Potter implemented. though in truth, he has tried experimenting with tweaking formations including the rotation of his players.
Even so, I hope Chelsea can become a better team so that the Premier League next season will be even more interesting and competitive.

Gvardiol seems determined about playing in the English Premier League according to some speculations. You know that Chelsea got really close to signing him not a long time ago. I don't know if it would be Chelsea for him again but I think one of the strong EPL teams would be in line to sign a very skilled centre-back like him in the summer. He is so young for a centre-back so a long-term contract with him would be very profitable.

Chelsea are actually trying to buy everyone these days so maybe they can go for Gvardiol once again.  Grin

The latest on the transfer rumours is that PSG are monitoring 3 forwards from the Bundesliga club. The first is Kolo Muani from Frankfurt, the other two players are Marcus Thuram and Manu Kone who are players from Gladbach. All three are still quite young and it looks like this will only become a reality if Neymar does leave PSG in the summer transfer window.

If I'm not mistaken, Marcus Thuram's contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach will expire at the end of this season. So, PSG or any other club can transfer him for free. This is a great opportunity. Also, Marcus Thuram has proven himself in Germany. He also plays for the French national team. I think he is a valuable football player.

Also, Messi's contract will expire at the end of the season if I remember correctly. If PSG want to continue to be an ambitious team next season, they have to transfer a few quality forwards already.

Is Messi planning to stay at PSG? I hope that he does not. At the same time, I also hope that Lionel Messi does not move to a league that is not at the top of the competition as well. It will be very interesting to see Lionel Messi play for Newcastle United right now. I don't know if that is meant to happen or not. I think it is too early for Lionel Messi to move somewhere like MLS. I believe he still has one more season in which he will be able to play for any top team.

Marcus Thuram is expecting to be approached by a lot of clubs. He is currently playing really well. Being 25 years old, he still has a lot to give to his future clubs. I believe Manchester United, Chelsea, and Spurs are trying to keep a close eye on him.

I think it's part of the process, we can't just look at the game shown by one player, we have to see them as a whole. Have we seen Chelsea play well now? I can't say that yet, to be honest. Joao Felix can show good performance if his team plays well, in the sense that he can't play alone. Graham Potter has yet to find a strategy that is truly implemented optimally by the players who are on the field, it also affects the performance of the players. He also recently joined Chelsea, so I still have high hopes for him.

Manchester United is a good example for that. They have become more and more united in the literal sense over time. Chelsea isn't a real team yet. They are quite strong individually, but they don't have a system that they can stick to for 90 minutes and outplay the opponent. They just need too many chances as well. Werner is gone but he could have scored twice every game and hardly scored any goals at all. Havertz is the same problem and we will see how Joao Felix will do.

What leaves me seriously puzzled is how Chelsea will stick to the financial fair play rules. Everyone with a sense of fairness knows that this can only be with accounting tricks, but then it still has nothing to do with financial fair play in my opinion.

I am pretty surprised that Roberto Firminho has stayed in Liverpool this long, there has never been a season that he was their main player, or someone the team looks up to for goals and impact, he has more or less been a fringe player for Liverpool, and now that they have Nunez and Gakpo in their team, his playing time is going to be further reduced.
...
It's because no big team wants him, and he likely doesn't want to play for smaller team. But seems in 2-3 seasons later, he would play in either of Asian teams or his home Brazil league. He was a superb player, but that when he played along with Salah and Mane. After Mane's departure, Firmino has not found his best shape yet, and at the same time Gakpo arrived. His career in Liverpool is going to end imo.

A news that has been published a lot for a while is Neymar's club change. The PSG club made an announcement to release Neymar due to conflict with Mbappe at PSG. English clubs Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool have already expressed interest in Neymar.  According to many media reports, Chelsea are very close to getting Neymar into their team. But I think it would be great for Neymar if he goes to either Manchester United or Liverpool. You will be happy if Neymar's address is in a new club.

Wait what? Not sure why Chelsea dont get any financial fair play punishment like City lol.

I think whether or not they are going to sign some forwards also depends on what Neymar is going to do and whether they want to keep him in the team or not. His number of injuries and escapades is outrageous. It is sad because he is an amazing talent, but he never put 100% of his focus on soccer. If you have him on the team it is hard with Neymar, Messi and Mbappe to sign other great players and promise that they get their chances. That would mean you have to leave someone of the three out and that will end in a lot of drama.

It feels like Chelsea are rushing things for no reason about making Felix's deal permanent now.

At least the speculations say that they are planning to sign him on a permanent deal soon. But instead I think they should wait and see how he will perform in the rest of the season first. Then they can make a decision about this transfer. I know that they are eager to solve their striker issue completely as soon as possible. But this season is already wasted for them. So they had better move on more carefully about deciding upon their attacking line. They will have the whole summer ahead as well. Maybe there will be a better opportunity than even Felix.

I even wanted this for United but couldn't work
Chelsea should not do so because nkuku, sterling, Ziyech and recently added players will nkt have enough game time to start
Felix should make the return back to spanish league he will be nice to replace Neymar once he leaves
Chelsea shouldn't rush into permanently making Felix deal just because he can play football. Infact every footballer can play football but they should give him time to check his productivity this season and how he is able to help the club in overall.
Felix might be a good footballer but not the type of England player so it is important he is observed closely in some few matches.

Has far as chelsea is concern, the only wrong deal is Graham Potter, cuz chelsea will do very well with this present squad., and the best of those newly signed players will be seen if not for Potter poor football techniques.

Tottenham have been reported to be interested in Antonio Rudiger from Real Madrid maybe but I don't think this transfer is likely to happen. I mean he is one of the members of the starting eleven for Real Madrid. He has been playing for 90 minutes regularly for a long time. It looks like Ancelotti is quite contented with his performance in the defense line for now. Otherwise there are five natural centre-backs in total in the squad so he would have preferred to give chances to some other defenders.

Tottenham also have quite many centre-backs now but I can't say their defense is very solid now. Maybe they want to get rid of at least one of the current players and bring a credible one to the team.
I think Real Madrid will not want to let Rudiger go in the next transfer window to any club including Spurs. So far this season Rudiger is an important player and his name will continue to be in the main squad until the following season. I don't think these rumors will ever materialize and it seems that even Rudiger himself will turn down the offer if another club tries to offer him.

I think Rudiger is happy in the Real Madrid squad.  I think it is unlikely that he will go to another team from Real Madrid.  They may have to pay a huge fee to Real Madrid to get him.  Considering that he is 29 years old, I don't think Real Madrid would want to spoil a position where they won't have problems for a few years.

I think that Rudiger would definitely want to stay and Real Madrid will be fine with it. Even if they are planning to make their squad younger over the coming years, you usually want to have some balance between older, experienced players and younger players especially in the defense lines. Experienced players do have a couple of tricks up their sleeves to shut down a strong offensive opponent. I would say that very young defenders are more prone to mistakes in certain situations.

The latest news regarding the summer transfer rumors that Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Roberto Firminho from Liverpool on a free agent status. I think this is a pretty good opportunity for Firminho considering he has rarely been in Liverpool's starting line-up since the arrival of Gakpo and Nunez and has mostly been on the bench this season.
It was rumored even before the World Cup that he would leave Liverpool, actually he contributed quite a bit but it's unfortunate he was injured and also the presence of Gakpo will put Firmino on the bench even more, but Liverpool still need him because he has proven several times by scoring goals when his team it stalemates in the game.

Maybe Busquets will join and play alongside Ronaldo in Arab after his contract at Barca expires this summer https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/21420200/al-nassr-sergio-busquets-transfer-approach-cristiano-ronaldo/

Busquet should leave he is still one of the best technical players at Barcelona but the Barcelona captains time is up
Gakpo is a winger while Roberto firmino is an attacker they play separate roles
Darwin Nunez is turning up and growing into the fighter he use to be at Benfica

these teams in arabia are becoming the destination of players who retire in teams in europe, this is not a good thing, they still need to do a lot so that people want to play in arabia as their first option and for that the government of arabia needs to change laws and forgetting to live based on religion, something that won't happen anytime soon, it even becomes ironic that people who call themselves religious, steal from the people and every day they are richer and stay in power based on blood and not based on people's choice

i know they don't say they retired, it just keeps looking like they transferred to arabia, but the age they arrive to play in arabia it is clear that they are already retired players in arabia europe and who went to play in arabia, in these Arab countries that despite being rich and paying players well, people don't have freedom in these countries, so what's the use of earning a lot of money without being free?

Roberto Firminho is a good player, I think he will be useful in Atlético, but honestly I don't understand why they sell Roberto Firminho and keep Darwin Nunez? in my opinion they should have sold Darwin Nunez and kept the firmino

Marcus Thuram was into Chelsea and Inter Milan radar even he almost moved to Chelsea this winter but i don't know why Chelsea preferring to prioritize Mykhaylo Mudryk over him because i am sure Marcus Thuram quality doesn't below to Mudryk and in Monchengladbach he can playing with different position as a winger or striker and as the player who from mediocre team i think his goals records very impressive that from 20 matches Thuram has been scoring 11 goals during this season

His contract will be expired on summer this year because apparently Monchengladbach has decide not too extended his contract and if the rumours is true then PSG has joined the race with the teams i mentioned above so very interesting to see which clubs will be his destination
