There's a news where Marcelo decide to leaves Olympiacos which result termination on his contract, so he need to pay the penalty fee to Olympiacos. I don't understand why he did this because he's not a good player anymore, his peak performance was at 2017-2018 after then his performance start to drop and it's make Real Madrid don't want to extend his contract. I don't think there's a big club want to sign him, he might join a weaker club than Olympiacos or officially announce retired from professional career.

I also came across this news earlier in the day and I kept asking myself why he is quitting, could it be that he is not catching up with expectations at the club or probably an issue of his attitude. It is understandable if he is not meeting up the level at which the coach wants to leave and find a new challenge elsewhere.

Tottenham have been reported to be interested in Antonio Rudiger from Real Madrid maybe but I don't think this transfer is likely to happen. I mean he is one of the members of the starting eleven for Real Madrid. He has been playing for 90 minutes regularly for a long time. It looks like Ancelotti is quite contented with his performance in the defense line for now. Otherwise there are five natural centre-backs in total in the squad so he would have preferred to give chances to some other defenders.

Tottenham also have quite many centre-backs now but I can't say their defense is very solid now. Maybe they want to get rid of at least one of the current players and bring a credible one to the team.
I am certainly not sure Real Madrid will want to give out Antonio Rudiger who has barely stayed two complete seasons at the club. I think this deal is unlikely to happen because Rudiger is one of the outstanding defenders Real Madrid have at the moment. With the very high level of inflation in the transfer market I expected such a price to be labelled on the English man who is currently firing and enjoying a good season.

It is too early for speaking about Spurs transfers.
They need to choose their next coach first, Conte will be probably not on its bench any more next year.

So I don't think they are doing plans without listening to their next coach.

The latest news regarding the summer transfer rumors that Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Roberto Firminho from Liverpool on a free agent status. I think this is a pretty good opportunity for Firminho considering he has rarely been in Liverpool's starting line-up since the arrival of Gakpo and Nunez and has mostly been on the bench this season.
Last season could actually be the last season for Firmino but indeed Liverpool pushed a little because their time was a bit of a crisis because several of their players in the attack line had left and some were injured which kept Firmino maintained but with the current conditions it is very difficult to return to hold Firmino moreover he also does not want to continue to be on the bench.
The chance is great for Atletico even though there are already several strikers but this could be a new challenge for Firmino.
Liverpool managed to hold Firmino down to an extra one year deal. I think despite bringing in additions like Darwin Nunez in the summer, it seems Klopp still has faith in Firmino to be that extra man to change things on a tough day but unfortunately sitting on the bench every week doesn't look good. I will agree with you that keeping Firmino for a further year is unlikely.

Rudiger have gold playing time in real madrid, because the Los blancos always go for the best offer in the market. Not always in a rush to sing players, but the ones signed are worthy to play for a lengthy period of time. Antonio rudiger is a key player in the madrid defendlines but Carlo Ancelotti is not ready to give up on one of his important defenders. Tottenham Hotspur doesn't have what it takes to bring the German back to england, but with more pressure and consistency on the bid, be might come over, which it's probability is very slimed.

Rudiger is a good asset to Real Madrid and he cannot leave for Tottenham. If Real Madrid is not ready to to sell any of their players, no club is able to snatch any player from Real Madrid not even Tottenham that is struggling in finance. It is better we disregard it as a rumor than cannot happen. Rudiger is very happy in Real Madrid and he is not willing to leave the biggest club to a club where trophy is not guaranteed.

The French press was betting that the Brazilian Neymar would go to a "second tier" team, but I believe that most here are surprised to learn that Chelsea are willing to pay very well to have this player in their squad. Not bad for the most expensive player in football history to date. But is Neymar still worth so much?
I consider his age is too old. There may be a several years remaining for him to continue his career in the professional football. It must be less than €50m. The problem is his salary is high when neymar was playing on PSG. I don't even think todd will be trying to give the same salary for him(neymar)
I wonder how Neymar can be persuaded to drop his contract with PSG (which is valid until 2027) and switch to a lower salary in a more difficult league? I think it's unrealistic. We have already seen that PSG were unhappy with Neymar, but this did not bother him much and he allowed his contract to be extended automatically from 2025 to 2027. I think Neymar is arrogant enough to even sit on the bench and still get his huge salary.
The fact that Neymar may leave and for Newcastle is showing that he is definitely not happy at the club right now. I am not saying it will happen, but the moment he does decide to leave, that will be proof enough. Who would leave a team like PSG and then joins a team like Newcastle? It is obvious that he wasn't happy and that is why he would end up leaving as well.

I know that it is not going to be easy to buy him, they will have to pay a ton of money to get him, Neymar is not a cheap player but even the worse part is that he is not always healthy, so if they buy him and then he misses many games? That would be terrible for any team and a reason to worry about getting him.

Yeah he is not the type that will risk his entire reputation on coaching a team that has issue with it or have no ability to win the domestic league and as we speak, Juventus is currently in bad shape. Put any decent top coach on Real Madrid back then, they would be able to win as well even without Zidane as their coach so yeah
The Los Blancos are fortunate to have two of football's greatest players and coaches. His presence on the team has helped them win prizes in a row, such as the Champions League, which they have won three straight times with ease. High-profile coach Zinedine Zidane exclusively managed elite clubs. He has turned down numerous managerial offers ever since leaving Real Madrid, and he is most definitely not ready to take over any club at the moment. His career-related moves have been kept under wraps without any complete backup information coming from France. Don't get me wrong, Juventus is a major club in Seria A, but at the moment, their performance is not good enough for him to lead an inferior team..

Sunday's transfer gossip:

Qatari investors could still bid for a stake in Tottenham, even if Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani completes a takeover of Manchester United. It seems that Arabs will soon own half of the clubs in the English league.
Barcelona agreed to sign Atletico Madrid and Portugal forward Joao Felix in January 2022, but the deal collapsed because of Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations. Barcelona can't solve their financial problems, and they're losing players because of it.

Ohh my GOD! Who would want to leave Real Madrid for Tottenham Hotspur? Maybe Gareth Bale once again in his next career. This can not be and would never happen. Rudiger remains a Real Madrid player... Believe me the news are all speculations.

Marcus Rashford would be a Manchester United legend one day for now he will continually score goals for Manchester United until the end of the season. Marcus is loyal to Manchester United... They should be seen as a slow strategy to increase Marcus's contract.

I see no potential in Leeds United Goalie especially as long term replacement for David De Gea no. David should have the contract extension I would agree a thousand times.

All I desire is for the highest bidder to give Erik Ten Hag the support he needs to get Manchester United in the right direction. I never thought of Felix, but he does have a good time with Chelsea. I hope he enjoys every bit of it.

I don't think that Zidane would go to Juventus as a coach. It first depends on whether or not they will play in the champions league and another problem is that they are not the top team right now that I think Zidane would ask for. I also don't think that Juventus could compete with bigger clubs financially.

Maybe Zizou can play at the beginning of Real Madrid. I think this possibility is still possible. On the other hand, it would be cruel to expect Ancelotti to be fired from the team. It is obvious what success he had with Real Madrid last year. I think Ancelotti still has credit. Zidane may have been for Juventus, but I think there is a successful coach there too.

Zidane was undoubtedly a very successful football player. Actually, his managerial experiences were not very successful but everyone has a lot of respect for him and therefore expectations are high for him. I think he may still be waiting for news from clubs like Real Madrid and Juventus because after the World Cup we read news that countries like Brazil, Portugal and the USA were interested in him but Zidane did not want to coach a national team. Also, Galtier's position at PSG is being discussed at the moment. Maybe we'll see him at PSG.

Excited waiting for which one next team challenge from Marcelo, will he try journey with Saudi Pro League team after Cristiano Ronaldo move there or Marcelo will back to his country and play for Brazil's team. He has still potential keep playing in European team or move to Asian team and reunion with Ronaldo.

Given Marcelo and Ronaldo's good relationship during their time at Real Madrid, it would not be surprising if Marcelo eventually decides to join Al-Nasr, Ronaldo's side in the Saudi Arabian league. It'll be like a reunion for them there, and I'm sure the club will be happy to welcome him if he shows interest. Marcelo still has potential to play for any competitive league in the European side. Any decision he makes now will definitely favour him.

Latest update from Marcelo official social media account he was happy become part with Olympiacos although with short moment and I don't think have problem with the internal for leaving Olympiacos before his contract ended. Could be family problem but Marcelo not show to the public and want to make mutual contract then have to pay the penalty fees.

Can't believe that Marcelo is leaving this team only after 5 months, maybe the living situation in Pireas and Greece is not good enough for Marcelo to stay there but or maybe he can't get enough salary as he was expected there and if that's the reason he will soon join another team like Al-Nasr and the other Suadi teams to earn more however was you said Marcelo still have the potential to play in European professional teams.

I think that a quality player like Marcelo can also take part in the Saudi Arabian league. Al Nassr may want to transfer him. Marcelo is a football player who had good relations with Cristiano Ronaldo in the past. I think they will be more beneficial if they return to the same team again. Both are great players who can make great contributions to Al Nassr.

Peter Bos is also still free as a trainer. has been a reasonably successful trainer, but he has not won major prizes. You will eventually be charged for that, I understand that. There are also a lot of talents walking around in South America. Chelsea's transfers have not yet been successful, and they keep losing. Whether they play in the CL or EPL, they are not successful anywhere. I am also curious if Hazard will make a transfer somewhere, Eden that is. His brother Thorgan had a transfer to PSV but is already injured and will probably be sidelined for a long time.

Actually, 34 years old is still good enough if he wants to go to a Ligue 1 team or a Bundesliga team, but not as a main player but more as a second tier player, at least he still has a one-season contract duration if he goes to one of the teams in the league above. But I really think that the left fullback position really requires a lot of stamina because you have to often help attack and defend. Is it possible that Marcelo will follow in the footsteps of his best friend in the Middle East League? I think it's a pretty good option if there is an offer from a club from that league.
Marcelo was one of the best defenders at his prime. Any club that gets his services will enjoy his wealth of experience. He will be able to groom young defenders and make them understand how to defend. For now he should consider moving to the United States or the Middle East like most players in his level. He could also consider embarking on a coaching course that can certify him to get a coaching job in the nearest future. He can also retire and decide to go into other businesses and spend good time with his family and friends.
Yes, Marcelo is a soccer player from Brazil who has managed to become a star player and can prove his greatness and career when defending Real Madrid and he became the best left-back of all time at Real Madrid, even Marcelo was able to become a La Liga star.
From the news, I was confused that Marcelo would terminate his contract with Olympiakos and would move or start a contract with another team. However, after I found out and traced which team would sign him, I did not find the results I wanted.
However, later the news that appears about which team will start a contract with Marcelo could become quite sensational news.
But until now I have this assumption and still don't believe that Marcelo will really retire.

Manchester United are willing to increase David de Gea's wage to £250,000 a week to keep the 32-year-old Spain goalkeeper at Old Trafford, but the club are already looking at Leeds' French star Illan Meslier, 22, as his long-term replacement. It seems that David de Gea could end his football career in Manchester.

It is really nice to see that Manchester United are still eager to continue with De Gea for longer. Because he is still a very important part of the team now. Thanks to his incredible saves they have been in profit in numerous matches until this day. There was a time in the distant past that De Gea seemed like he was going to sign for Real Madrid. But it didn't happen after they signed Courtois instead. This is really good for Manchester United honestly.

Otherwise I think Manchester United could have been in a worse situation now. Because their defense has been vulnerable for a long time and De Gea has been a big help to compensate for it.

It doesn't take much, if the dressing room is very toxic, he can leave.

Also, such star players despite being "arrogant" do have very big egos to quench. Being benched for many matches would definitely not go well with Neymar. I think you remember when there was some chaos over who should be the main penalty taker in PSG. This was all happening with the big salaries in their contracts  Grin

It doesn't work if the greatest toxicity is himself  Grin
As for that scandal over the execution of the penalty, in fact, Neymar was in his right there. We all remember how Neymar moved to PSG and it is obvious that PSG guaranteed him that he would always be “number 1”, including in such matters as easy goals from penalties, respectively, when PSG began to put Mbappe higher (even if deservedly) this did not please Neymar.

Probably nothing relevant but this is a photo of Today.

Zidane with a Juventus jersey with his old number at the team when he played before Real Madrid.

Source: https://twitter.com/JuventusClub19/status/1627064516772261888

At the beginning of the season, there was a lot of pressure and criticism on Massimo Allegri. If I had seen this photo at that time, I would definitely have thought of different possibilities. However, such is not the case today. Because Juventus have had good results in the league. They would have been in a much better position if they hadn't been penalized for points deduction. Perhaps, a discussion of Carlo Ancelotti can be started today. Because they are far behind Barcelona.

Maybe Zizou can play at the beginning of Real Madrid. I think this possibility is still possible. On the other hand, it would be cruel to expect Ancelotti to be fired from the team.
