There are reports that Atlético Madrid are close to signing Memphis Depay from Barcelona in a deal worth around £3m. A mixture of injuries and form concerns have ruined his 2022-23 season so far. So instead of sitting on the bench, I think it’s a good move for him because he has struggled this season, making just four appearances and scoring one goal across 206 total minutes.

Yeah, he is close but not done yet, someone has not agreed yet according to Fabrizio Romano.

A transfer from Depay to Atletico Madrid seems imminent. Those teams have already sold many players to each other, with Atletico the big winner if you look at how much money they have made with all those transfers. But they don't seem to have had many reinforcements? Plus they have now lost Felix to Chelsea, look elsewhere to get a midfielder of that caliber today. There are not many who want to move to Atletico halfway through the season. Maybe there are some players in Serie A. From the EPL I don't expect players to go to Spain, you hardly see any English players playing in the Spanish league.

They want an exchange of players and that would be between Yannick Carascco and Memphis Depay of Barcelona, Depay wants the move immediately as personal terms won't be a big deal to finally agree on. Carascco also seem confident with the switch to Barcelona also.

Barcelona can not hold him for just too long,Felix has nothing to do with this. For Barcelona player's like Ferran Torres, Raphina aren't playing just the way fans expected but no plans to sell off.

The rumors about Yann Sommer moving to Bayern Munich aren't rumors anymore as the journalist Manuel Bonke has captured and posted the arrival of Sommer to perform the medical check in order to sign the contract, according to which the player will play for Bayern until June 2025 for €8m in addition to €1.5€ in add-ons.

Agree, Sommer's transfer is confirmed by the club!

Pretty interesting development in the past 24 hours tbh - Alexander Nübel announcing that he's staying in Monaco and Sommer signs his news contract at Bayern. Concerning the €1.5m addon the German newspaper Bild added following information:

The €1.5m add-ons to Yann Sommer's transfer fee are distributed as follows: €1m for the Bundesliga title win, €250k for the DFB Pokal title and €250k for the Champions League title [@BILD]

Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1615825803920510976

As it looks, Sommer's medical check should take place tomorrow morning. Provided there are no problems here, Sommer should probably already be in the starting line-up against RB Leipzig on Friday. Wow, I wouldn't have thought that at the beginning of the week.

Overall I guess it's a smart move for both sides: FC Bayern gets a solid goalkeeper who has already played in the Champions League and will certainly give everything this season, and Yann Sommer gets the chance to win multiple titles with an absolute top club. Friday's game against RB Leipzig promises to be an interesting one, can't wait to see Sommer in action.

I don't think it's strange because this season they just throw money away in a hurry and this is not the first for Chelsea because previously Mudryk wasn't the same as they were spending money fast. Don't know what the obvious reasons are at this point but indeed they are always in a rush to spend money especially when Todd is in the Chelsea squad.
On the other hand I think as long as they are always like that for now with too much rush then indeed this will get worse for them.

Everything with Chelsea was working well until the section, So the major problem to Chelsea now really started from the sanctions on Russia due war which the sanctions later affected the Russian Oligarchs and former Chelsea owner Roman Ibramovic.

That sanction led him to sell Chelsea to the current owner Todd, which Todd later started making some changes with the Board members and later don't have good relationship and confidence in Thomas Tuchel with his then style of management that led to his sack. Since then Chelsea team hasn't gotten their form back.
Yeah Chelsea were much more better before the sanction. They won the champions league the previous season with Thomas Tuchel and the sanction changed so much in the club, ownership, manager and even head of transfers in the club. Since then the club has struggled to get through restructuring phase. Now the club is making many changes and in no time they will be getting back to good form again.

I am interested in football since at least 20 years or so and during all that time Tottenham was never really an absolute top club, both in the English Premier League and of course also in the European competition. So i don't think we should be surprised, if Tottenham will not be able to reach the 4th place and therefore a spot for the Champions League in the next season. I mean there are also Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal in the same league so there will always be a pretty big club that will not qualify for the Champions League.
If Tottenham really fails to qualify for the CL though then i think the chances that Kane will not prolong his contract will definitely increase and a transfer to Bayern Munich for example could really become a realistic scenario.
It will be in Harry Kane's best Interest to try playing in another big club, maybe Bayern Munich, Real Madrid or even PSG that are all very big clubs. He has stuck with Tottenham for a long time and it is obvious that although he is a key player in the team and he is idolized there by the supporters of the club, he will not be able to win some major competitions with them that every player in his standard will like to win like the Champions League and even win the local league.

Memphis Depay to Atletico Madrid is now a sealed deal from Barcelona, what do you all think?

Well first of all, the reason why Kane is not moving to another club I think lies on the surface. Maybe he thinks that in another team something will not work out and he will quickly fade as a good player and so he stays where his level is stable. Regarding Depay's move to a new team - sad... Sad that he was never allowed to stay at Barcelona

Harry Maguire is set to be sold by Man United in the summer. As long as Maguire goes and new center backs are brought in, Man United are on the right track. A number of clubs are interested, including West Ham. There is a report that West Ham is interested in loaning the €87m Man United defender. Can both parties benefit from this deal? However, I wish him the best of luck in his next chapter.

Yes, I would also like Maguire to find himself in a new place, to be able to overcome the black streak in his career and reach a good level. Problems and negativity snowballed around him, and if the negativity around hardened players like Ronaldo means little to them, then Maguire was clearly under endless stress.

Tottenham are getting worse, now Conte is under pressure who will be sacked if every match he loses continuously, right now in the EPL they cannot maintain the top 4 because they were previously there due to being inconsistent so they can lose to other teams, tomorrow will face Manchester City while the team under him Fulham and Brighton are getting closer to the points Tottenham I think if Conte loses again there is a possibility for the summer he can be replaced with another.
Regarding the competition that is still active as you mentioned it is still difficult for Conte to reach because it will be very tough for them to compete there.

It is rumored from sources transfermarkts that Thomas Thucel will replace Conte in the coming months, if Tottenham cannot maintain being in the top 4 of the standings.
I am surprised to know Tottenham wants to replace Conte with Thomas Tuchel?  Shocked
I don't see that Tuchel is better than Conte. He failed in Chelsea this season, that's the reason he is fired from Chelsea. So, why hire him as Tottenham coach?  Huh  I think it is better to keep Conte as the coach and let him to buy some new players to improve the squad quality.

I know that Tottenham performance looks bad lately. Conte must evaluate the tactics and improve the mentality of the players. But it is actually quite good that Tottenham still can stay in 5th place. They still have a chance to return to the top 4, there are still many remaining matches, right?  Undecided

If Tuchel really goes to Spurs, I can see them getting their first cup ever in a few years. He is one of the elite managers in the world and the way Chelsea just fired him was totally team politics and nothing more. Look at them right now, are they better? They are even worse and they should have given him more time, if he was still in charge I guarantee you that they would have been way better than they are right now.

In any case, him at Spurs will not give results right away, but when the times comes you will see that he is going to be amazing at that team and he is going to build them into a cup winning team, maybe not the premier league, but either FA or maybe europa if they are lucky?

There is still no news about Liverpool's intention to buy a solid midfielder. We are already halfway through the transfer window and there is still no serious move by Liverpool side. I guess that they have postponed their intention to make such signing to this summer. They are already in a terrible condition in the English Premier League at the moment. It is going to be quite difficult for them to save themselves from this situation. Even if they make it still it will be too difficult for them to finish the season in top four.
Actually, they shouldn't postpone signing new players to improve their performance. If they don't sign new players, maybe no change until the season ends. Liverpool will finish this season in the middle of EPL standings if no change in their performance. It is a shame that a big club like Liverpool can't finish in the top 5. I agree that Liverpool needs new top midfielders, they can't rely on Fabinho and Thiago only, these players sometimes get injured and can't play at their best. Liverpool needs young talented midfielders, Bellingham or Bruno Guimarães will be suitable for Liverpool. But unfortunately, no news about Liverpool interest on these players.

Bellingham and Matheus Nunes seem to be the current midfielder targets for Liverpool.

However they might not get lucky about Bellingham as he is more of a Real Madrid fan at the moment. His father seems to be thinking the opposite and he might try to convince him for Liverpool also. But I doubt he will be successful on that duty. Especially while Liverpool are in a situation like this I understand Bellingham's decision more. But maybe his decision would have still been the same even if Liverpool were very impressive now. Maybe Real Madrid is the dream club for him.

Yes, I think this is the right decision for everyone involved.

Defender Maguire lost a lot of space with Erik ten Hag's performance and now needs to look for a new club to play frequently and have more chances on the pitch to show his ability.

It is also good for United, as the loan is a chance for Maguire to recover his good football in "other airs", mainly so as not to lose the investment of 87.1 million euros paid in 2019. An improvement in Maguire's performances could make the defender valued, so they also gain from it.

As for West Ham, they simply need a good centre-back, a need Maguire can fill if he plays hard enough.

Everyone wins!

Tottenham are quite likely to have empty hands at the end of this season. Because there is a significant decrease in their performance recently. The EFL Cup journey has already finished for Tottenham after losing to Nottingham surprisingly. They have the FA Cup, Premier League and Champions League left to achieve something. However we need to be realistic also about the last two ones. Tottenham can't win the title this season in the PL. It is even doubtful if they can join the Champions League in case they maintain an inconsistent form. The Champions League title is also a dream. They might be able to make it in the FA Cup but I don't think it will be enough to satisfy.

Therefore this could result in Conte's leaving the team while there is an opportunity for going back to Italy also. We haven't heard of Conte about what he thinks for the future of course.

Conte has really lost his way in every game in the last few games. Indeed, losing a place in the top 4 is a crucial point for Conte in maintaining hopes of getting a ticket to the Champions League. now tottenham are 5 points behind manchester united as the team who is in 4th place. speculation about conte future continues to heat up on social media if he fails again in the next game. Conte has not been able to provide a better achievement in the second half of this season.

well tottenham will face manchester city this week. Is Conte able to give Tottenham a victory after losing to Arsenal in the previous match? and this will also get him out of the pressure situation he has received due to Tottenham less impressive performance in the last 5 matches.

A good news to hear from manchester united. I wonder which team that's gonna be interested in him. This is still remains a big question. People know so well about how bad meguire is. West ham may give a small offer for meguire. Im not sure if MU wanna try to give him to the west ham or not. I think that united will not a lot of benefit from loaning him to west ham. I guess that another club will be only interested in loaning him rather than buying him.
I think that west ham is trying to bet on its luck. I hope that meguire will play a bit better when he will be loaned into the new club.
In fact in some other reports it has been said that he is not for sale but will be loaned to West Ham but there is still no further confirmation in this regard.
But it's really good if he leaves in my opinion because regardless of what he's at Manchester United you can say he hasn't progressed and has really failed to see the condition of the game he's been running so far.
Meanwhile, if in the end he is sold, this will be a good thing, even though from a financial point of view it is clear that they have failed in the transfer of Maguire.

A very small small small rumor about a possible comeback for Conte from Spurs to Juventus (sacking Allegri at the end of the season).

what do you think?
That will be good for Juventus to bring in Conte again. We know, Allegri isn't bad, but after 2 seasons with Juventus, he can't give juventus better performance. Of course, become the top 3 so far is good, but Juventus board wants a title, maybe Allegri can't give them for now. If sacking Allegri is the final decision and bring back Conte, i'm believe he need another 1 season to make juventus great again. Or, serie-a top clubs like Napoli, Inter, Milan show inconsistency, so Conte will easier to bring Juventus get title.
Currently, nothing is clear about this all but if Juventus new board is looking for this change surely this could be good and can bring good changes at Juventus which is clearly struggling for last few seasons and having not good in Serie A and Champions League with this season they are already exited from Champions League and currently at third spot in Serie A with no chance to win this year which is surely not good but most chances they will not do any change quickly and give chance to Allegri until end of this season whether this is not going to have any positive change in their performance and fortune for having anything special because currently they are at third spot and chances are near to no for the title race.

Conte is also not happy at Tottenham and most chance he will leave club after end of this season because things are not favourable for the Conte and Tottenham during this contract, so they will be separate their ways which could be surely not good for the Tottenham because this can bring few more exits from this club as well.

Alejandro Garnacho seems to be monitored by Real Madrid and Juventus. His current contract expires next year and Manchester United can use the option to extend his contract by one year if they would like. But currently they are in contract talks with him. Garnacho's wage demand is higher than the offered amount to him. I wonder what Manchester United will do about this.

Garnacho is a skilled player but I don't know how much bright future he has now. He needs to be given chance in more matches to help him improve himself faster. Especially if Real Madrid intervene Manchester United's job about keeping him might be difficult.

I hope this report will become a reality, considering that actually I am very sorry to see Harry Maguire now because he is only sitting on the bench and that cannot be separated from his poor performance when he appeared in Manchester United's starting line-up. If West Ham United are interested in borrowing Harry Maguire, that's pretty good, at least he can get a main place in the West Ham squad later and can correct his mistakes at the start of the season.
I learned that Harry Maguire may move to West Ham obviously he is not worth Manchester United bought him. Despite this, he has the chances of still being a fit as good defender in some other teams. Since he moving to West Ham on loan, I think there may be like an option to buy him. However, I feel that until Manchester United gets a replacement for him, he is not going anywhere just yet.
