There is still no news about Liverpool's intention to buy a solid midfielder. We are already halfway through the transfer window and there is still no serious move by Liverpool side. I guess that they have postponed their intention to make such signing to this summer. They are already in a terrible condition in the English Premier League at the moment. It is going to be quite difficult for them to save themselves from this situation. Even if they make it still it will be too difficult for them to finish the season in top four.

Hopefully next season we will see Liverpool pulling themselves together with the right transfer moves. Nunez is still a disappointment for example in my opinion.
Don't know why in this transfer they only have a lot of rumors but so far none have been realized.
There have been a lot of players who have been linked with Liverpool, but until now these are just rumors that are still unclear, especially in this case they are in a condition that is actually not very good in terms of condition and performance, which of course requires several players to be used as coatings to fill emptiness.
Then you shall try to take a look at the result from the gakpo's transfer. I guess that if you didn't watch it, right? Gakpo has been even playing with Liverpool against brighten and how can you say that if none of rumours linked to Liverpool has not been realized? I think that you shall see the result form the recent transfer of cody gakpo. Liverpool was seriously looking for a new player but it must be noted that if the team won't try to spend lots of money on the new players. Some old transfers were unsuccessful like darwin nunez.

Jurgen Klopp tactics seem to be arrant mess and same to Darwin Nunez another mess he's settled down completely with Liverpool but no major improvement have been witnessed.
The midfied repair is what's more vital for Liverpool, they don't have plan spending too big on Jude Bellingham else he should haven't been with Dortmund.

He could be the next player to leave Dortmund, Both Real Madrid, Chelsea and Liverpool are currently making silent moves to get jude.

Was the Cody Gakpo rumor also a deal that was never realized?  Grin
Perhaps I haven't been following transfers in a very long time

The plain truth though is that this season is one that Liverpool would want to forget. They have been very inconsistent from the word good, and I think that is not about to stop. I remember Klopp during his last times at Borussia Dortmund, the situation was similar.

If I were to be Arsenal and I have seen this great chance of being champions of England again after so many years, I will not miss it. If the management is investing money in buying players they will know that they are chasing a big thing. I support Arsenal for the title race and therefore they should all in their power to be able to chase this English Premier league.

Thomas party and Odegaard actually needs some backup in the team.

I'm looking at those mentioned for Arsenal. Facundo Torres, Moussa Diaby, Declan Rice, Raphinha, Dušan Vlahović... There is more available. It seems like a lot of names are on the radar but Arsenal should make the signings as soon as possible. They already have a good skeleton, it would be good to expand the rotation. Now every match is very important because half of the league is over. You shouldn't rely on the difference in points, being at the top also creates extra pressure. I think it makes perfect sense to add reinforcements to the wings and forward. Arsenal's defense is good enough.

We are mostly hearing about rumours related to Arsenal these days. Their fighting for the English Premier League title has started to change many things for them as it seems. They must have started to draw the attention of really good players into the team. I can't even imagine what they would do in the next transfer market if they become the champions there.

Actually, they shouldn't postpone signing new players to improve their performance. If they don't sign new players, maybe no change until the season ends. Liverpool will finish this season in the middle of EPL standings if no change in their performance.

Their current performance isnt really about new signings. Liverpool's current lineup is not really performing as they should be as some of their players are still injured but things would go back to normal after some of its players are back. If they really need to sign another player than that would be another striker to replace switch out with Gakpo because Nunez cant really do shit though

The latest transfer rumors come from Al-Nassr who seems to be interested in signing goalkeeper Keylor Navas from PSG. We know Keylor Navas was also one of Cristiano's former teammates at Real Madrid for several seasons. Will Keylor Navas leave PSG this season and join Al-Nassr? what do you think?

I only saw about Navas and Al-Nassr today in the local news, I thought I was the first one to know and I came here to post, but I always search first, and I found your post hehe

I think Navas will go to Al-Nassr and there are some reasons:
1 - He's not the starter anymore, he's only the substitute and it's hard to start the main matches of PSG this season, Donnarumma is favorite.
2 - He will probably receive a good salary
3 - Will probably fight for titles, since Cristiano Ronaldo is playing for Al-Nassr
4 - Will have the chances to play more matches, being the starter

In my opinion it's a better place to move and ending his career playing as starter, fighting for titles and being popular again
It's a win-win situation, or maybe a triple win because it's good for 3 (Navas, Al-Nassr and PSG)

I agree that Liverpool needs new top midfielders, they can't rely on Fabinho and Thiago only, these players sometimes get injured and can't play at their best. Liverpool needs young talented midfielders, Bellingham or Bruno Guimarães will be suitable for Liverpool. But unfortunately, no news about Liverpool interest on these players.

In order to reinforce their midfield, Rice would be a very important player for the long-term process, as he is a player with a lot of potential. However, even at such a young age, the West Ham captain has plenty of experience at home and abroad, able to help the team make an immediate impact upon arrival.
Despite not being quite certain that he would start in every Premier League game this season, he still wants to win trophies with Arsenal, and we can provide him the chance to do so.

On the other hand, I doubt if Arsenal will get him in this window. We're light in central midfield but Xhaka and Partey have been immense.

Liverpool seriously need a Midfielder and has such need to let some players like Naby Keita leave to relive their wages. Bellingham who is Liverpool’s main target is too expensive and also has many offers from European giants like Madrid, so it seems hard for Liverpool to get him. Same goes to Enzo Fernandez. Mac Allister will have been a perfect signing since he comes cheap than his fellow countryman and also has premier league experience under his belt but Brighton are reluctant to let him leave now and it seems any form of deal could happen only in the summer. So without many options left Liverpool just have to wait till then.

They are actually not that too bad in the midfield department this season just that there regular scorer Salah is having a mixed season and Nunez is having a bad start to live in England. But I wouldn’t blame because his inability to settle down well has affected him and if he gets that sorted out then he might be able to concentrate more on the pitch. Another reason he is having a bad season is the huge amount used to sign him. The pressure that comes with it is too heavy to carry but next season this expectations might have reduced and he can be ready to get the ground running properly.

The following is a list of several clubs that have spent in a single season and Chelsea ranks highest with 425 million euros this season. Will Chelsea's performance improve in various competitions according to the funds spent this season? As we know, in some of the previous matches, Chelsea had not even recovered and was still in poor form after getting several new players.
Even though Chelsea has poured out more funds, it is for the appearance and victory of a coach that plays a big role, Graham Potter should be able to do better potential in several competitions after the management spent a lot of money but all of these results were not effective enough because Chelsea often suffered more defeats. bad under Potter's coaching.

Look at me this Chelsea squad, they already have great and expensive players but the arrival of Mykhaylo Mudryk and Felix can bring a change to their club.

Both of them are young and talented football players, but neither of them are players who have managed to become the main heroes in the teams they played before. Maybe Chelsea are making long-term and right plans, but they also need to make plans to save the day. When you look at this list of players, can you see a football player who can score 15 goals this season alone? I think Chelsea are investing in their next years by signing young players, but they need more. Otherwise, they may even enter a process that may harm the development of the young football players they transfer. I think they are not following a balanced policy.

Arsenal have had little luck in the transfer window this January, with Chelsea beating them to sign targets Joao Felix and Mykhaylo Mudryk. I think Declan would be the perfect for Arsenal because at the moment, they are heavily reliant on Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka. So adding more players of Rice's quality could be vital if Arsenal are to have any chance of maintaining their new-found heavyweight status next season. This one is an English man and a club captain, Westham will definitely respect his choice and not the money a club wants to pay.

In order to reinforce their midfield, Rice would be a very important player for the long-term process, as he is a player with a lot of potential. However, even at such a young age, the West Ham captain has plenty of experience at home and abroad, able to help the team make an immediate impact upon arrival.

In addition to the desire to strengthen its team, Arsenal has yet another dispute with Chelsea, the club's rival, in the transfer market. Recently, the Blues closed the signing of Mykhalo Mudryk, for an incredible 100 million euros, in negotiations with Shakhtar Donetsk. The Gunners also traded with the player, but were crossed. And now they don't want to lose yet another talent and, by the looks of it, arrives as one of the favorites to sign Rice. Currently, Arsenal leads the Premier League with eight points ahead of Manchester City, so it is a good opportunity for an almost certain future in the Champions League for whoever is signed.

Maybe Declan could be an option for Arteta to replace Thomas Parley or Xhaka. but it seems, the transfer fee to bring Declan is quite high. however, it seems he is the ideal addition that the Gunners' young squad needs. at least Arsenal have to bring in some newcomers, both midfielders, especially pure strikers to fill the void left by Gabriel Jesus. because, Arteta cannot only hope for Nketiah, who has not proven his sharpness.

IMO, Arteta really needs additional ammo to strengthen his team in the race for trophies in the Premier League. and if one of their core players gets injured, it will be a problem because their second tier players don't have the same level as the core team. What's more, Arsenal have twice been hijacked by Chelsea in the race for players, namely Joao Felix and Mudryk.
As a Gunners fan, I hope Arteta will bring in the right players to strengthen his team this January.
I also agreed that Declan Rice will be a better alternative to injury prone Partey who had been very influencial in Arsenal current winning streak, the need to sign him becomes necessary to strengthen the squad, Simbi Lokonga and Mohammed Elney had not really live up to expectations especially the former who is a bit slow and sluggish can't cope with pace in EPL, there is the tendency of Arsenal playing in the UCL next season thus their squad needed some new quality signings such as Declan Rice whose wealth of experience will help the club and it's obvious that Arsenal Midweek UCL and weekend league matches next season will exhaust many players thus addition of new players is the best bet for the club.

Arsenal are normally not a team that are a big fan of making top signings. But I think they should do so considering the Champions League. This team have a really good chemistry now. The only thing they will need there is a strong squad that can fight hard against the title contenders.

I think we can all agree that Cristiano Ronaldo has already proved numerous times that he is one of the best football players ever so he does not need to prove anything anymore. I think though, that we can also agree, that it does not really matter anymore now if he shows a good performance or not. He only plays in the saudi arabian league now because he is payed more than 10 other world class players together. In terms of class the saudi arabian league is probably comparable to the 4th league or so of England, Germany or Spain. If CR7 wants to continue to play for the national team then he needs to keep doing something extra for his fitness.

Ronaldo will always be able to benefit the Portugal national team - even if he is not good enough to play the full 90 minutes in the most important games, he can be a substitute. Plus, in fact, teams are forced to play a lot of "passing" games, such as when Germany plays against Liechtenstein in the qualifying tournament for the European Championship. In all such games Ronaldo kept motivated will be more effective than players exhausted at the club level who come to the national team to rest.

I think the main goal of Al Nassr is to create a certain level of competition in the league, exposure and also draw attention of the world to Saudi Arabian league which so far has shown progress since the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo after the world cup. This has had a major effect on the club and the league entirely. Now with their financial strength and influence they can attract top players to the league.
After a few years ago the Chinese League made a big breakthrough when bringing in world-class players with lavish salary offers, now Al Nassr is trying to increase the level of the Arab League by bringing in Ronaldo. Ronaldo's arrival can lure Rival Al Nassr to bring in other top players so they can compete in local competitions. Ronaldo's arrival has not satisfied Al Nassr, reportedly they are trying to bring in Bosquets after his contract with Barcelona ends.
Even Chinese League spend hug amounts and having few good players, but sadly this was not enough for them to bring this league at highest level with they are still struggling for the quality soccer for me same going to happen in this Gulf soccer as well because with money you can buy big players, but you can't buy quality and performance which is also important and leagues level is also depended on how things will go right now due to Ronaldo Gulf soccer is having some media intention, but surely thing could be at normal level after some time because Asian and Gulf region is not near with the quality soccer which is also important they are mostly inconsistent and lack of fans love about this game in UEFA region.

Arsenal have also joined the race to sign Declan Rice. You know that Chelsea have been the most interested team in him in the recent times. But Arsenal's joining the race could change everything. Because Arsenal are very likely to become the champions in the English Premier League. Chelsea won't even be able to qualify for the Champions League most probably.

In this situation I assume Declan Rice would prefer to play in the Champions League. Arsenal can actually gain a big advantage in some other transfers as well while competing with big teams on the condition that they win the league title.
In this situation, I believe that Declan Rice is always going to prefer playing for Arsenal instead of playing for Chelsea. Because obviously if he goes to Arsenal there is a big chance that he is going to be able to win the English Premier League title with Arsenal. But with Chelsea that is not a very realistic possibility right now. I mean it is possible that Chelsea goes and wins the English Premier League title from here. But it is not probable.
Surely with the improvement of performance and ranks few teams are going to take good advantage because in past these both were suffering due to their poor run and having no good connections in UEFA events like Arsenal is now at the league top and Manchester United is also having third rank which is attracting many players for these two clubs but still Chelsea is taking good advantage as they are bringing good players with paying huge funds which are not good for them because in last transfer window they already spend good amount and now suffering due to this all and having issues to sell these players on very low price.

Hopefully Declan Rice will prefer to go with Arsenal and having this good time in Champions League in next season because with current form they can enjoy going in this event, surely.
