As reported by Transfermarkt, Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Memphis Depay from Barcelona. Of course this is not without reason after Joao Felix was loaned to Chelsea, of course Diego Simione is looking for new players to replace Joao Felix in their attack line. While Memphis Depay rarely gets minutes to play at Barcelona, this will be a serious consideration between players and teams.
I think this could be true but the problem may be in the price.
I think Barcelona is too big in setting a value, especially when we know that Depay was brought in for free, so the price of 20 million I think is too big.

But indeed in other respects Depay I don't think is bad for Atletico because if he stays at Barcelona he won't get many chances to play so being at Atletico I think will be good enough and at least he will get more opportunities especially Joao isn't exist so the position is empty.
That's right, so if Depay leaves Barcelona, he will get more playing minutes than having to be on the bench with Barcelona. Regarding the price, it is a bit exaggerated, maybe because Barcelona's finances are currently in a slump, so they give a price that is quite expensive for Depay.

They might as well not sell it, in this situation I don't know what's better... It seems like the player will be unhappy because he will still not play enough, the management will also be unhappy because they did not get the amount of money that they originally planned to get from the sale. I wonder how long the crisis in Barcelona will last for them to feel comfortable with transfers...

Newcastle are interested in Ruben Neves signing while his contract is expiring in less than two years. I don't think Wolves can hold him at the team anymore as long as they got an offer from a bigger and a very rich team like Newcastle.
Newcastle boasts of having wealthy owners but unfortunately these guys haven't made big accusations that will remind us of their presence, otherwise for me Newcastle look like the same old team with some self belief  believing they can be whatever they want if they put their minds to it.

You know how strong Newcastle have been performing since the start of the season. They are one of the serious candidates of top 4 now.
We keeping watch of their performance, but I think once injuries start to roll in Newcastle will be a different team, points will be dropped and they will now know why they need to reinforce the team with new signings...

They don't have any money issue at all as well. In this situation signing Neves wouldn't be much difficult for them. I think he is still a good player by the way but he is just wasting his time with Wolves.
Neves isn't going anywhere tbh I think wolves will be happy to keep him unless Newcastle pays an over inflated price to get him.

Besides Newcastle should look for bigger transfers especially if they manage to qualify for the Champions League. They will have all the things they need to sign top players in that case.
Newcastle champions league, wow wow are we not getting ahead of ourselves... Is this also the part where those clauses of Cristiano Ronaldo coming to Newcastle come in as well  Tongue tbh top 4 won't happen there is too much history at stake here Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea all will find their MOJO to fight for that spot being occupied by Newcastle.

Chelsea already bought some strikers instead of making its midfielder and defensive like become stronger but chelsea was only focusing to the attacking line which is very disappointed. I think that chelsea needs to do so many things to recover its performance. Felix is having horrible performance during his debut. That doesn't even make sense to call him as a good player while his debut proves that if he was not even capable enough to be a good striker.
The red card has been proving how bad he is. Chelsea was making another failure transfer.
But before leaving the field, Felix actually played impressively. The 23-year-old striker fired the most shots (6 times) with 4 of them on target and dribbles were successful 2 times. He also made Chelsea get 4 free kicks. Because he got a direct red card, Felix will be absent for three matchweeks, I also think Felix on his first debut might be too excited so yeah I think it's only natural even if it hurts Chelsea
I think it's not about one player being good or not in this case, but more about they lacked in other positions and yet they still didn't do much about it. I mean we are talking about a team that required some midfieldiers for a long time and even maybe a defender, and yet they decline to buy someone at that position and instead keep on investing into strikers which is not a smart idea.

Of course Joao is a great player, I like him too and I am sure he will help the team a lot when the time comes but we are talking about a position that they do not need. If they could spend a lot of money on buying a midfielder, that would be a smarter decision for sure.

Saturday's transfer gossip:

Chelsea are fully behind manager Graham Potter and are planning a mass clear-out of players if results do not improve. When clubs are in crisis and not achieving good results, club managements usually replace coaches, so this is somewhat surprising news. Will this approach pay off for Chelsea?
Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/64266988

Everyone is almost too sure that Graham Potter will be fired. I think this expectation also affects the motivation of the players. They may have wanted to increase the motivation of the players by stating that they trust Graham Potter. I don't think they're really going to remove all the players from the team.

I think Chelsea need a striker like Didier Drogba or Diego Costa. This might make some changes to Graham Potter's game plan, but I think they look like they really need it on the pitch. They were hasty in sending Lukaku to Inter. If they had kept Lukaku in the team, Lukaku wouldn't have made Chelsea champions but he would have solved some problems.

Football is dead, if nothing will change in March with the ESL it will die in 2 years.

Nobody expect Premier can spend money.

Romano reports that there is still final agreement to be found and it is getting very close. Chelsea still needs personal terms agreed while Arsenal has the priority, personal terms and all , but just needs a final fee for both parties to agree on but is close. What even funny is that Mudryk is already on his way to London already while the clubs negotiate his deal .  Tongue

He is a great player though and Arsenal will love to have him in their team. The guy so much wants his move to Arsenal happen.

Chelsea could sign France forward Marcus Thuram for as little as €10m (£8.86m) this month with 25-year-old's Borussia Monchengladbach contract expiring at the end of the season. A very good price for a great player.
Thuram has the potential to generate a lot more money in my opinion. There is no doubt that this is a very lucrative deal for Chelsea. They were able to get this player for such a low price. In spite of that, I am not sure if Chelsea is going to be the right club for him. With all the problems that Chelsea is facing right now, it is no wonder why.

Manchester United have received serious takeover interest from the Middle East, Asia and America and are poised to invite formal bids from them by next month's deadline. British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe is also expected to bid for the club. In the end, who will bid the most and take over the club? The Saudis again?
According to my opinion, there is a very high chance that Saudi Arabia is going to take ownership of Manchester United in the near future. In addition to the money they have, the Saudi football scene is also getting more attractive at the moment.

It seems like that atletico madrid prefers to use memphis depay rather than felix. Felix has been loaned to the chelsea but he has the worst time in his new club. It seems like that the main target by atletico madrid was depay. The money that already got by loaned felix to the chelsea will be used to buy depay.
I read rumors online that the current coach of Atletico madrid mightn't last long at his job then him and Felix aren't in good relationship and that's the reason behind the loan. Also note that there wasn't an option for Chelsea to buy Felix if the loan was to be an successful one, that means Atletico madrid are still interested in Felix. Probably they just want him to have better playing time at Chelsea and develop more. Delay isn't a long term solution at Atletico Madrid so it doesn't matter of Felix was loan out while he was bought.

What's this at this point, €100 million for an unknown players that's playing in such a farmers league. I guess Todd Boehly just want to keep wasting money. Why didn't he go for Enzo Fernandez as we initially thought the club was going to do but later backed out. I just hope he isn't trying the pull another Enzo Fernandez type of negotiations. They are both midfielders but Enzo Fernandez mind was at Chelsea while that of Mudryk is at Arsenal. While leaving someone that wants to play for you to go chase after someone that wants another club. Todd Boehly should be careful to avoid another Lukaku situation.

I hope Chelsea knows what they are doing by spending so much money. First of all, I do not think it is a good idea to invest in a coach that is not bringing in results. And secondly, they are talking about fixing all the problems by making player transfer not the change of authority. I think it would have been easy to change the authority instead of changing the players.

But anyway if we talk about the transfer I think Mykhailo Mudryk is obviously going to be a good one for Chelsea. Now it is a different story that Chelsea will probably not be able to utilize him properly.

They had better do so. Because they can't achieve anything by changing their manager very often. Yeah things are going on really bad for the team these days. But there is nothing to do other than being patient and giving Potter some time to start a good form with the team. This season is already wasted for Chelsea that's for sure. They will just focus on finishing at the best position they can.

They need to make their plans seriously considering next season. Because the expectations from Chelsea will be bigger then. Because Potter will have got accustomed to the team very well until then. He should be able to have a good season with Chelsea as of then just as he did it with Brighton before.

When i first read that sentence i was pretty sure that this was just another rumor from twitter or from an untrustworthy newspaper or website but then i saw that it was reported by the bbc and the telegraph and that was pretty surprising to me. As you already said, usually clubs just exchange the coach when they are having a bad time without any change in sight. The reason for that is quite simple, it is way easier (and of course also cheaper) to just replace 1 coach instead of replacing 5 or even 10 players. So i am still not sure if Chelsea is really going to change up their squad so much. I still think that Chelsea should have never fired Thomas Tuchel, as he is one of the best coaches in the world.

It is actually going to be very good for Arsenal if they can get Mykhailo Mudryk. Arsenal is already performing really well this season and he can improve the quality of the squad more. And I am also hearing that the deal is very close to being done.
Chelsea have hijacked the deal and have reached an agreement with his club for a €100million  deal. Arsenal were very close with €95million. He is more likely to be unveiled as a Chelsea player in a few hours.  Very unfortunate for Arsenal, we were really expecting that we would be able to get him to join us on time before we face Manchester United.

Chelsea on the other hand have really spent a lot of Money on transfer this season and are still spending.

Mudryk is a young player and has a great potential and the club values him at 100 million euro. Sometimes you can get quite a gem from these farmer leagues though. He is a good player and right now Chelsea and Arsenal seem to be in the race. With Enzo Fernandez I believe they Benfica didn't agreed to negotiate further as they valued Fernandez at 120m but Chelsea were willing to offer below that. Ultimately Enzo to Chelsea is off now but that really would have been better for Chelsea. Now they have to work things out with Kante and extend his contract.

I am not sure what is happening right now at Chelsea but they are looking into good strong potential players. Much of the recent transfers of Chelsea are the names I haven't heard so they are picking what they think are a unique talent and will help them in future.

I hope that Chelsea does not make a mistake. Because I do not think that it is the fault of the players that they are not being able to perform well. I personally do not think that the tactics of Graham Potter are the best suited for Chelsea. I do not understand what they are thinking. First of all, they brought this coach when they had the option for Zidane. And now they are backing him up with the money. I certainly think that this is going to be a stupid decision.

Arsenal are confident of completing the £80m signing of Mykhailo Mudryk, 22, from Shakhtar Donetsk in time for the Ukraine winger to make his debut against Manchester United next weekend. The Ukrainians were obviously very demanding negotiators and it seems that they managed to raise the price of their player.

Arsenal looking for the possibilities to bought Raphinha from Barcelona this summer and Arteta feel Arsenal still required new winger and Raphinha might be suitable for his strategy moreover during in Barcelona Raphinha didn't get a place in the starting eleven because Xavi more trust other players than Raphinha so probably Barcelona will allowed him to moved if Arsenal offering good deal for them and apparently this summer Barcelona decide will sell some of their players and besides Raphinha i saw other players such as Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati will included into Barcelona sell lists for this summer
I think Raphinha is a very talented player and if he joins Arsenal he will be a good backup on the right wing for Saka. Right now I think Arsenal are more focused on getting Murdryk who has been a priority target this January. I can't wait for this deal to be completed quickly so our focus can be shifted to getting atleast one more player before the window closes. I will love to see Raphinha join the premier league.
I think they have to first focus on getting the players they are after one by one. I mean after they get a formal agreement with 1 player and then they focus on other players. They also have to see how important the position of the players they are currently looking for is, because if you look at the depth of Arsenal's squad now they only need a few more players, don't let the transfer they are doing fail.

At least there are several players, one of which is Depay, who is expected to be included in the sales list.
This could be a good thing because Atletico need a striker now that Joao has left but on the other hand there are still a few possibilities.
Lewandowski's replacement if he can't play is only Depay now so I still feel this can be reconsidered by Xavi.
Barcelona are tying to sell Depay and get Aubameyang back to be Lewandoski' s replacement. Depay to Atletico is a good deal for all concerned. If Depay is used as a winger in Atletico he'll play well but as a top 9 he will struggle. He doesn't see much playing time in Barcelona so he has to leave.

As for Aubameyang, he will be welcomed back to Barca but I really don't see the need. He will be brought in to be Lewandoski's replacement and Lewandoski hardly gets injured or hardly not fit. He will only miss the two remaining league matches and before Aubameyag will join the team those matches must have been played.

Right now Barcelona does not need any striker in the team. I believe that Robert Lewandowski is going to be enough for Barcelona. And for Barcelona, it will also be better if they do not bring in any new players right now. Because Barcelona needs to get rid of the players that they do not need. It is going to have a good effect on the financial situation of Barcelona.

But Barcelona will have to be careful as well because if for some reason Robert Lewandowski does get injured Barcelona will find it very hard to score goals. So, I also agree that Barcelona does not need a striker right now but you never know.

Murdyrk would be an important transfer.  22 stone and would be a promising transfer.  if not, Raphinha transfer could be a successful transfer.  Arsenal had a very successful year this year and I am sure they will scrutinize the transfers as well.

I heard that depay wanna leave from barcelona as long as he will be going back again to the united.
