It looks like Barcelona must bury its desire to bring Messi back to La Liga, Liputan6.com reports that Messi has reached an agreement with PSG for a contract extension, this agreement will make Messi stay at PSG until 2024.
The news that Messi wants to stay at PSG has disappointed Messi fans in Barcelona. They really want to see Messi return to playing for Barcelona after successfully bringing Argentina to win the World Cup.
if Barca can't afford to pay Messi as well as PSG, I think it's a good decision for Messi to stay at PSG. after all, it would be enough to drain Barca's finances to return Messi to Barca. who might be more considered to get young players or buy defenders who are now Barca's weakness. after all, Barca already has Lewandowski up front.
For sure PSG has offered better for Messi to stay and an extension of the year option has reached an agreement according to rumors, Barcelona's finances will be difficult if they bring Messi there but I saw the statement of Joan Laporta wanting him back but that's how it is if you have to let Messi go back because of problems finances that will be faced later.
PSG already have big ambitions for the Champions League so he will try to keep Messi at his club.

The management of Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag are more focused on extending the contracts of other players, while David De Gea has not been discussed in this regard, but there is a possibility that Erik Ten Hag does not want to extend the contract again and is more looking for other players as a replacement indeed, David De Gea's performance has always been going up and down and sometimes making more mistakes from his blunders doesn't make him the one who will last a long time with Manchester United, and it's true that this is still an evaluation material going forward by spending the rest of the season now maybe Ten Hag will see De Gea's performance again going forward his.
Manchester United have made a one-year automatic contract extension with four other players, including Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Diogo Dalot and Fred, while David De Gea has not yet made a decision on whether to extend or be released in this season's transfer market. Some of the media that I tried to explore, David Dea Gea has the potential to be extended for another year as contained in the previous contract. However, this decision is still being considered by Erik Ten Hak.

Manchester United's management fully trusts the coach in making decisions on David De Gea's contract, but it seems that the goalkeeper is still needed by the coach, considering that there has not been a suitable replacement for Manchester United in the second half of the season.
That was already announced by Erik Ten Hag. I saw from Fabrizio's confirmation of their contract extension, so it's confirmed that Manchester United still have players who will last for the next few seasons, it's just that De Gea is another reason why they weren't accompanied by that player, but it's clear Erik Ten Hag has another reason behind it all.

Maybe there will be other changes after this season ends and Ten Hag can talk to De Gea about his future, but there is also the possibility of using the 1 year option to be extended because that is also the best hope for Dea Gea to stay at Manchester United.

There is no way this will happen. As a result of the club's debt, the president of Barcelona is not sure he has the funds to sign him back. That's something we should get used to. It is certain that he will stay with PSG for one more year. A contract extension was just signed at PSG, wasn't it? It's a simple YES!
It might be true, but Messi's agreement is another matter. Yes, I'd like to see him return.

he will be too old, look at Ronaldo situation with Manchester United.
He can't come back and pretend to be a 1st choiche player.
Ronaldo was 37 years old while messi was 35 years old and so a few years in PSG will be good enough rather than going out. Ronaldo got terminated from MU caused by his problem while messi has no problem with PSG and that might be the different from both of players. I think that you can't compare the situation that happened with messi to the ronaldo. Both have been facing different reality

Right now Erik ten Hag is doing good decisions which will be helpful for Manchester United in long run because right now they are increasing quality and performance and for having better results surely they need to adopt few bold decisions with this most chances Manchester United management will not give any new contract to David De Gea, and he will be going to end his good career after end of this 2023.

Too many options available right now with few quality goalkeepers are performing good and many will be feeling proud if they will join this legit English club in near future after decision of Cristiano Ronaldo now look like management is having good faith in Erik ten Hag for having good results in near future.
Until now there has been no sign that Manchester United have managed to reach an agreement with Diogo Costa, Jordan Pickford, and most recently Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic who performed well at the World Cup. So that anticipatory steps must be taken to extend a one-year contract with David de Gea, this is the most likely step taken by Manchester United management.

Other good news Erik Ten Hak has the possibility of keeping David De Gea for one more season, because at the end of the first half of the season the goalkeeper's performance has improved and shown his best quality in making saves.

Basking from the euphoria of winning the World Cup Messi had agreed a contract extension with PSG, this news had put to an end the speculation that Laporta wanted to lure him back to Barcelona after his present contract expires in 2023, Messi is expected to sign a one year contract extension with his present club, I think PSG will never let him go now as the club is desperately and battling to win the coveted UCL this season and from every indication Messi had settled down in Paris and hopefully with the arrival of Neymar and Mbappe back the team all is now set for UCL matches coming up next February.

If Lionel Messi has any self-respect, he’s not going to go back to Barcelona. I remember he even agreed to play for half of the salary that he was getting at that time just to stay in Barcelona. But even that was not possible. And why Lionel Messi is going to go back to Barcelona for some extra competition when he is finding it easy to stay in PSG and winning the Ligue 1 title?

At first, we were talking about Cristiano Ronaldo versus Lionel Messi. After that now we are talking about Mbappé versus Lionel Messi. This guy is still playing like he is in his prime even when he is 35 years old

Ronaldo will put his ambitions first rather than becoming the highest-paid player in the Arab League. Ronaldo still really wants to continue his career on the European continent, he has ambitions to continue playing in the Champions League and win trophies at the end of his career. Ronaldo needs a club that gives him confidence to keep up his form, he still wants to defend Portugal at Euro 2024 before ending his career at international level.

I think Ronaldo will try to stay in Europe and play another Champions League, like you said, until 2024 to play Euro, after that I believe he can play in another league, like Arab or even MLS in USA.
After that is only to make money and to sell merchandise to club.
I don't think he's ready to play outside Europe yet, because it's the same as say goodbye to high level football and competitions.

In my opinion he have all conditions to play in high level, not in Real / Barcelona / City / Man. U anymore because these teams already have their prefered players and there's no space for him.
Portugal in my opinion could be a good choice, a reasonable national championship, a good chance to play another Champions League.

Edit: people are talking about Bayer. I don't know if this is true, but Bayer is a great chance to not only play another champions league, but a real chance to be champion again.

Saturday's transfer gossip:

Manchester City are determined to win the fight for Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham and believe the England midfielder, 19, will turn down a £100m transfer to Real Madrid or Liverpool to work with City coach Pep Guardiola. So it looks like another win for Manchester over Liverpool and Dortmund sends a great footballer to Manchester again.
Manchester United have opened talks with PSV Eindhoven about signing the Netherlands winger Cody Gakpo. Gakpo was excellent at the World Cup in Qatar and would be a great reinforcement to Manchester United.
Al-Nassr are hopeful they will complete the signing of Portugal forward and free agent Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, before the January transfer window opens. Are we looking at the most expensive football pension in history?
Manchester United believe they have a chance of finally signing Frenkie de Jong in the summer, but feel Barcelona are trying to increase his value by saying the Netherlands midfielder, 25, is not for sale. Will the clubs come to an agreement in the end? This de Jong saga is going on too long?

It does not look like a win, but like flooding the entire clearing with money. Financial Fairplay has never really worked and with recent changes, it can be said to have stopped working altogether. Sooner or later, this will lead to a deep crisis when even some of the top clubs (which do honest business and do not use the oil money of the sheikhs) will not be able to make ends meet.

I am hearing that Cristiano Ronaldo is thinking about accepting the offer from Al Nassr.

https://www.sport.es/en/news/futbol-internacional/cristiano-ronaldo-in-saudi-arabia-to-sign-bumper-deal-with-al-nassr-80291229
This is the news from two days ago. I have not heard anything else about this matter. I have also not seen Fabrizio Romano tweet anything about this.
So, I am certainly not sure about if this is actually true or not. I am going to wait for any official confirmation or at least I need to eat from Fabrizio Romano.

Actually, this news was not very convincing to me... Cristiano Ronaldo definitely wants to play in the champions league and in a team that aims for the league title. We know that's why he left Manchester United. I think he will not be transferred to the Arab Leagues, but if the offers he wants from Europe do not come to him, he may have to go there. In fact, that's why the World Cup was so important to him. If Portugal had won the World Cup under his leadership, we would not see any of these debates now. Ronaldo is a great football player and I think he is still the best in the world but he has failed in his career planning.

I have also noticed that everywhere he was saying he has enough money. So he wants to go to a team with which he will be able to fulfill his expectations. And we also know that he has enough money. It is the legacy that he is after right now. But I don’t know how can he get what he wants unless he can get a team that will get him back in the competitive top-level scene again. And I think he is expecting to wait for six months and probably he’s also expecting that after that. Probably some teams will be interested in him. But I don’t know if that is going to be the case. If he doesn’t play for such a long period of time, it is only going to reduce his value.
No reliable sport has said anything about Ronaldo and his Saudi Arabia deal. I think news that are flying all over are not true , it is just a rumour. It is not just about the money, Ronaldo going to Saudi Arabia will reduce is value.  Someone like Ronaldo is supposed to play and retire in a club that will add more value to his career.

Several players who shone in the 2022 world cup received a significant increase in their market value and these players have become targets for several strong European teams. The most highlighted transfer targets lately are Enzo Fernandez and Cody Gakpo, who do you think are the other players who will leave their club in the next season's transfer market?

The problem is that wages are not Cristiano Ronaldo's only goal, he still has the ambition to play in a popular and competitive league. If Cristiano Ronaldo's main goal is money, then he will accept the offer that Al Nassr put forward a long time ago. Until now he has not responded to the offer made by Al Nassr to him, meaning that there is hope that he will likely join the Arab League team, but he is still waiting for teams that are competing in Europe and will soon make his choice.
Ronaldo heart is for the Europa League but if he officially plays at Al Nassr I'm not sure he will play with all his heart. Although there is still no final chance from Ronaldo, it is possible that there is no choice if there is no confirmation from European clubs in early January. It's hard to force it at an age that is no longer young and the desire to play on the European stage makes Ronaldo's situation a dilemma. It's quite surprising that his ambition still can't be fulfilled or it's true that ambition has no end. Ronaldo just needs to make peace with his current condition and let newcomers continue his heyday.

I read some news about Rafael Leao where he seems to be leaving Ac milan in the transfer window this season because some news sources say that he is interested in arsenal playing, is that a signal that he will join arsenal even though from arsenal it seems they are not chasing leao in the window  transfers this season.
indeed he has performed quite well with ac milan this season, Leao often scores goals to help ac milan win where in 14 matches he has contributed 6 goals and scored 4 assists. Ac milan really needs Leao in the next few seasons i think maldini should keep him in ac milan.
Rafael Leao personally has impress and likes with Arsenal performance this season but don't mean Arsenal will bought him this summer and from season to season Rapael Leao has showed good progress with Milan even if we compared his performance was quite better than last season and Milan also has give him one place to starting lineup for almost each matches i think this showed he is important player for Milan and a good news appears today that Rapael Leao will respect for his contract with Milan and will focus for this team for at least until his contract ended and Leao could be good commodity for Milan so they should be give him contract extention immediately because not impossible he will be aiming big clubs who want him this summer

Seems if Cristiano Ronaldo have been in Saudi Arabia actually could confirmed his future team is in Asian and will leave with European teams. I little disagree with Cristiano Ronaldo if have final decision leaving European team because he has good reputation and rivality with Lionel Messi will gone.

I think Cristiano Ronaldo can reach personal agreement deal with European team fpr plaing six months later until end season, he has ambition want to play with team participants in Champion League, if sure joining with Saudi Arabia team will not any rivality between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo fans anymore.

The talent of a football player is sometimes difficult to accept at a high price for some people. But looking at a decade and a quarter ago, many players managed to break transfer records, let's say Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale who managed to join the European football giant Real Madrid, they all had very fantastic prices at that time and even many players could not afford to offset the prices of the two players, but most recently in 2017, Neymar moved from Barcelona to PSG for a transfer price of 222 million euros so far no one has been able to break this record.
There's a chance if Mbappe will break this record since Real Madrid is willing to pay for 1 Billion Euro in order to sign Mbappe from PSG [1]. It's really crazy how Real Madrid really want Mbappe, it seems they want to get many trophies in La Liga and Champions League. If Real Madrid is successful to sign Mbappe, there's no clubs that can compete Real Madrid except Manchester City.

I've heard the news and I never for a moment believed that Real Madrid would pay 1 billion euros for just one player. It's just a media trick that wants to report and want to make everyone excited with an unclear transfer value. If Mbappe had hoped to join Real Madrid for that price, it would never have happened.
Well in this case I quite agree because in this case I think it's a really crazy price for one player, even this tends to make no sense to me if it really happens.
Are they really going to sacrifice everything for one player? this is very difficult to accept common sense, especially with this fact, if you really want to do it, it will be a little damaging in terms of player shopping.

Those players must be included in exception caused by they have great achievement while when someone ask about what achievement that already made by enzo and then world cup must become the only greatest achievement by him. Neymar was a fantastic talent and that's why he has a high price along with messi which was also joining in PSG with high price. They have someone that already achieved. Enzo becomes popular caused by world cup.
I never heard this football player before as he was not so popular like messi or neymar.
That's right, we know that Neymar has not only excelled with Barcelona and PSG, but he has his own selling points individually such as his skill in playing ball and the dribbling that he plays makes everyone amazed at every action on the field. So everyone feels entertained by his agile actions. For Enzo, maybe one of the reasons why the price is so expensive is that he is still very young, 21 years old, so in my opinion it's not too overpriced as long as it doesn't exceed the price proposed by Benfica.
Neymar is an outstanding player , excellent and entertaining on ground he enjoys playing football and that's why people who are watching his game enjoys ot too.
PSG has many strong and competitive players just they have different experiences that makes their prices different otherwise all of them are equally good.

Smiley I've to admit it, I've missed all of your transfer updates, I think you stop prior to the start of the FIFA World Cup, good to have your updates back.

Before the start of the FIFA World Cup, I saw from a source of how Pep Guardiola has been handed a €100m or more to get any player he wish too get especially if he does scouting for the right player that suits his style, it's a good coach, I wouldn't him ( Bellingham ) to have double thoughts bout it despite Liverpool also tracking him, like Man! Go sign the contract signed. Sure thing is, he'll nkt sit no the bench as I expect Gundogan leaving soon.

Erik Ten Hag wants more options on the flank but everyone says his a Central Attacking Player but no, he is a good player for the flank but not for the CA position, Manchester United shouldn't hesitate to get the deal sealed. Good fighter. Three great goals at the World Cup, he'll be a good pair with Rashford, Anthony and Martial.

Good Luck is all I wish Cristiano Ronaldo wherever he decides to go, my Idolo 🐐 I'll crazy miss him since he's no longer gone be seen across the big European screens.

Manchester United should stop making plans for a player who doesn't want to fight for the club, Barcelona also playing hard even if they need the cash splashed on De Jong so they can solve some financial issues. Whatever happens next, I'm blank. LOL

Thanks for the information.

Thanks, nice to know someone missed my transfer updates. I will try to be even better  Grin
I admit, for the last month I have been focused on the world football championship in Qatar, I neglected the topic a little, but here I'm back again, ready to continue  Grin

Villa manager Unai Emery does not want to work with Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, 30, and is keen to offload the World Cup winner next month. This is very surprising news, which is the reason for the coach's decision?
Liverpool could give up on trying to sign Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham because they believe getting a deal done for the 19-year-old is proving too complicated. What is too complicated for Liverpool will probably be much simpler for Manchester City?  Grin
Chelsea will have to make RB Leipzig centre-back Josko Gvardiol, 20, the most expensive defender in history if they are to sign the Croatia international in January. It seems to me that the more realistic option is for Guardiol to stay another year in Leipzig and then go to Real or Manchester City.
Atletico Madrid are reportedly willing to let Portugal forward Joao Felix, 23, leave on loan for a Premier League club so long as the Financial Fair Play costs of his contract are taken care of by the other side. Felix came to Atletico as a big star but obviously he failed to adapt to Atletico's way of playing and this is the best solution for the player and the club.
