Enzo Fernandez is also among the players who are targeted by big teams these days. I have seen a claim like an unnamed team has made an offer worth 100 million euros to sign him. However Benfica are not willing to sell him for less than his release clause which is 120 million euros. I wonder what team it is to offer this much money to sign him. Teams like Real Madrid and Liverpool are also interested in signing him and it looks like these two have a new rival in the race to sign Fernandez from now on.
I wonder if it could be one of the Bayern Munich, Manchester City and PSG trio. I don't think some other team would be okay to spend that much money for him. It should be one of the rich teams in Europe. We might add Newcastle to this list as well.
Because after having a great run so far, they'd like to go for bigger transfers.
When this kind of news surfaces, there is only some names of clubs that will come to mind immediately, Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern Munich or Manchester City, definitely one of these top rich clubs and I wonder who could it be or even Newcastle but so far they haven't spent that much on any player, I have little doubt it could be Newcastle. Enzo Fernandez had a great outing in the world cup but 100m euros is a lot of money for his services.
I am hearing that Manchester United is ahead in the race of getting into Fernandez right now. But I also thought that he had a verbal agreement with Liverpool. So, I am a little confused. But at this point in time, I don’t think verbal agreement means anything. This 21 year old midfielder has a lot of potential. And obviously, right now a lot of clubs are going to try to get him on the team.
But I think it is a matter of time before the top teams that you mentioned, like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City start getting involved and trying to get him into the team.
You also made a good point about Newcastle United. But I hope this player will be able to realize that he should not go to Newcastle United right now. Because he has a better chance of developing his skills if he goes to Real Madrid or Liverpool or other clubs like that.
