Even though his current status is only on loan, I don't understand why the transfer clause if it is redeemed is so expensive that it is around 50 million euros, even though so far in 11 matches at Atletico Madrid he has not scored a single goal as a striker. I expect Liverpool to sign him to solidify their midfield position as a lot of the midfielders will be without contract in the summer.
