Messi should either stick to his recent club or join new incase offered but returning to old club will make things difficult for him.

Lionel Messi have promised about announce his future team keep extended or not with PSG trough his contract expiry at 2023, I think excited waiting with Lionel Messi confirming his contract extended or not after he has impressive performance with Argentina and success won World Cup 2022 trophy. I sure many team are in waiting list for signing Lionel Messi will be free agent for next season.

However still possibility with Lionel Messi keep extended based on how excited offering from PSG, we learned from Mbappe when his contract expired, PSG give fantastic offering for Mbappe and make him rejected for joining Real Madrid. Even if they had to split up, I think the three of them could go and find another club. Amrabat played with great dedication in the tournament. He was one of the best midfielders. Fiorentina will want to sell it for a high price, that's normal. He may also want to keep it on his own team. We all know that they are a team hungry for success. They have long wanted championships in the league and European cups. They may want to protect the current squad. If Fiorentina sells Amrabat, her replacement may be more expensive.

The thing is that Liverpool have long been in the market for a central midfielder, having gone in for Aurelien Tchouameni in the summer before he moved to Real Madrid. And the way it looks now, Chamberlain, James Milner and Naby Keita are all out of contract next summer, while Curtis Jones and Fabinho have struggled for fitness and form this year which means that they may need to sign more than one midfielder and Amrabat fits the profile of the player Klopp will want.

The player price for Mbappe by now should have skyrocketed as I see him getting offers from top tier football leagues. My own ponder is if he'll stay or move away from the French league?
For Messi, he might probably be counting down to between 3 and 5 years of active football before retiring. Considering the level he has attained, having an injury that would make he go under the doctors knife, is one he would try to avoid right now.

As far as i know Didier Deschamps is a very authoritarian coach, that expects his players to do what he says to them. Karim Benzema probably was the best striker in the world together with Robert Lewandowski in the last two years, so it could have also made sense for France to take Benzema with them to the world cup even if he would have missed the group stage games. I mean France was the big favorite to win this competition (and they almost did) so it was to be expected that they would reach the quarter- and semifinals and then Benzema would have definitely be able to help the team.
On the other hand i heard reports that Benzema was not really like by his team mates so it could have also been a decision for the chemistry of the team.

I understand wanting Messi to stay longer, that is of course normal considering how well he is still playing but they also need to be very careful about his age as well, at that age players do not degrade slowly, they get one small injury and then never play good again. Look at Ronaldo, dude missed one summer training and he is acted as if he is the root of all problems United had last year, when in fact he scored so many. At his current age Messi is still amazing, but within the next 2 years there could be some level of drop, and after that I expect him to play worse because he is human after all, all humans start to slow down at those ages, it is unreal to expect him to be as good as he is now when he reaches 40 years old.
