The World Cup time gets me in to soccer (sorry football) so I was recently doing some digging around..  How the heck is PSG a fair deal..owned by a country , yearly payroll could buy a country lol , I mean seems unfair. So does Real , Barca and the rest of the top 5. I was looking at a list of the worlds best players…PSG and Real have a shit ton of them. Provided they stay healthy, is anyone going to stand a chance , esp against PSG?

transfermarkt reports 2 rumors again...
celtic glasgow are in advanced talks to sign canadian national team star Alistair Johnston from cf montréal. multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situation have told that a deal is now closing in for the €6 million valued right-back who could also play at center-back and manchester united are reportedly interested in bringing back fc barcelona and netherlands forward Memphis Depay in january.
Memphis Depay was Manchester United's worst purchase in the 2015 season, he was bought for 34 million Euros from PSV Eindhoven, while at Manchester United Memphis Depay was often injured so he didn't develop much for two seasons and only scored 76 goals. Juventus were also interested in Memphis Depay in the previous transfer market, but did not reach an agreement, because Juventus stopped discussing the player's contract and it seems that this was a rumor in the transfer market last summer, or Manchester United opened another winter recruitment opportunity for Memphis Depay.
So far there has been no certainty from Manchester United regarding the desire to bring Memphis Depay back to Old Trafford. If the negotiations go smoothly, then Memphis Depay will return and must prove his quality at Manchester United.

Manchester United seems to be interested in this player. But at the same time, I also heard that Chelsea are also interested in Depay. There are currently some problems with the attacking lineup that they have. So they are looking for a striker. As you have said Depay has already played for Manchester United before, I am not very confident about him returning to Manchester United again.

There is actually no certainty from Manchester United or even Chelsea at this moment about Memphis Depay. Manchester United have done everything to get Cristiano Ronaldo out of the team. Now they have to take every step very carefully because if they make any mistakes, people will probably be eager to jump on them.

Now I'm curious about 2 things:

- Will Manchester United sign a new striker to fill his place and strengthen the team at the same time?
- What team will be candidate to sign Ronaldo?

This is the biggest questions as the january winter transfer windows draws nearer. Will Manchester united find a striker and buy one in january? will it be a young player,? or an agey striker for stop gap situation? Because without a cf, and martial injured; it wll be very difficult to score goals and get champions league football.

Meanwhile, i think ronaldo knows his next club, and just needs to wait until the worldcup is over
It depend in how the new owner makes a big change to MU, If really happens the club sold (to any Oil millionaire like Newcastle or Man City), The MU club will change from nothing to something. they will definitely buy the new attacker to filling up the weak position. Too many revolve out there like Mbappe, who is know, there are is still progress, they will make surprise us next. we just wait until the world cup finish.

The German newspaper Bild is reporting that despite his recent injury Lucas Hernandez will likely sign a new long-term contract at FC Bayern after the world cup in Qatar.

Bayern & Lucas Hernández were on the verge of reaching an agreement over a new contract before the World Cup. The last talks were going to be finalized after the tournament. Despite the injury, Hernández could still sign a new deal soon - a sign of support from the club [@BILD]

IMHO, a great gesture from FC Bayern. But also from a sporting point of view, a contract extension makes sense for both sides. FC Bayern is securing a top defender for the long term and Hernandez will also have the chance to win European titles in the coming years. Nice nice, I am really glad he's extending his contract with FC Bayern.

Ok so, Manchester is going through a rough phase. They already released Cristiano Ronaldo and the club is now for sale. Cristiano is apparently dealing with Real Madrid and they might just grab him. As for Manchester, there is still no one interested in buying the club. Will be this the end of Manchester United?
Ronaldo and Man United have reached an agreement to part ways after a controversial interview Ronaldo conducted a few days ago with Piers Morgan. After Ronaldo was unemployed because he was not bound by a contract with any club, the issue of Ronaldo's transfer has now graced the British, European and even world media. Now Ronaldo is focusing on the Portugal national team which is struggling in the world cup, Ronaldo will announce his new club in January because at that time the clubs will carry out their winter transfer activities.
Absolutely the end turned out to be the best option for all parties because the tension has been increasingly alarming and has gotten to the point where seperation is the best option so I'm happy it is happening. We shall see what next for Ronlado after the split will he retire or will he move to a new club for now there are no dramas and no court sanctions so it is all good in the end.
I think his agents are already actively working on making sure he finds a team in the winter transfer window, because otherwise he will have to end his football career and it is not the best option to do it this way. By the way, it is funny that he is the only player at the World Cup who is unemployed...

Ronaldo's career is going to end very quickly if he stays with Manchester United. Bayern Munich was rumored to be interested in signing Ronaldo. And Ronaldo wants to join Real Madrid. If Bayern Munich wants to take Ronaldo to the team, he will probably join the Munich team in the winter transfer. Because if he stays with Munich, he will have a chance to win the Champions League this season.

Ohhhhh Danilo is an AMAZING player, I played him in my teams when I play Football Manager, dude is not only just great but he grows to be even better each time, of course that may not be real because we have seen plenty of great players on FM that became bad, but if he is given the chance for a bigger club, goes to Arsenal, then there is a chance he could become a lot better because he would be constantly getting help from the best trainers and other staff in the world.

Obviously there are also a lot of Delle Ali type of players who became worse every year, and I just believe that Danilo would not be a player like that, his future is incredibly bright for sure.

I assume Ronaldo's departure won't cause a big change in Manchester United. Because Erik ten Hag was already not giving much chance to Ronaldo in the starting eleven. We watched him in the starting eleven like in only Europa League matches. I think this decision is good for both sides by the way. Ronaldo was already planning to leave and that interview just sped up the process.

Now I'm curious about 2 things:

The latest news comes from Lazio player Sergej Milinkovic-Savic who currently prefers to move to Juventus over Manchester United.
It was reported that Sergej Milinkovic-Savic had agreed to move to Juventus and had several meetings with Juventus. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has reached an agreement with Juventus with a 5-year contract and will be given a salary of 5 million Euros/year.
Apart from that, Manchester United also intends to reach an agreement with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and still has the possibility to corner Juventus if Manchester United dares to pay more than the salary given by Juventus.

But the decision rests with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and he remains determined to sign for Juventus.

I can understand why he is choosing Juventus over United and seems to have come into agreement with personal terms as well but the big question now still remains if Juventus will be willing to break the bid set by Lazio for the player. Lazio director rates him as an important player and they will only let him go if someone matches the bid of 150m Euros. It will be interesting to see if they are ready to make that bid or maybe negotiate with Lazio but I doubt that Lazio will settle for much less than that.
This is actually quite good news because they have managed to bring in a player again, but looking at the conditions with the arrival of Savic, it is certain that someone will be thrown out of the Juventus midfield, especially considering the current condition of the Juventus midfield which is quite dense. At least there is Rabiot, McKennie or even Paredes who are threatened this time with the arrival of this former Lazio player.

Good move I must say, Juventus are a top side aren't they ? He already has a great understand and how well that league goes, he'll settle in fast with Juventus. Since Paul Pogba is not being a consistent player and with the age of Paul Pogba they need to find a replacement for him and I think Savic is a perfect player to fill up for Paul Pogba at Juventus.

I don't like players with big money move to Manchester United, but with the new coach Erik Ten Hag changes have been seen. But I don't think Savic is the kind of player that fits into Erik Ten Hag's style of play.

It's a good thing it's currently in the international break phase because otherwise this could have an impact on the game.
I don't see christaino Ronaldo departure as a shock because this season Ronaldo didn't play much for Manchester United. Manchester United has tried the season to improve their performance and to win many games without the help of Ronaldo. Ronaldo departure won't cause a drop in performance for Manchester United,  and I don't see it as shock because in the summer season Ronaldo has been looking for a way to leave Manchester,  Ronaldo never wanted to be in manchester united this season.

It seems that the English league will continue to arrive in players from Brazil this season, Danilo is a player from the Palmeiras team. Arsenal are still looking for very good young players to strengthen the midfield. Perhaps more precisely he will be a cover for Granit Xhaka, considering he is already 30 years old and soon to enter old age. Arteta's choice in targeting young players is certainly not in doubt and this time he chose Danilo in the transfer market.

Arasenal's interest in Palmeras star Danilo emerged at the end of the 2022 summer transfer window. However, the Brazilian club are not willing to let the player go midway through their domestic league season. Danilo is a defensive type of midfielder and Arsenal can play him as support for Thomas Partey.

Apart from that, Arsenal have also targeted several other young players in January 2023. I think Arteta will really have to bring in several new players in the upcoming January transfer market if he really targets the championship trophy this season. we all agree that Manchester City remains a strong candidate to win a trophy this season. besides that, they have a depth of very talented players in almost all lines. because of that, Arsenal is still below the level of Manchester City.

However, now they have an increasingly honed mentality, focus on games, really solid teamwork. that's why Arsenal is still consistent. and I hope Arsenal can win the title this season.

Manchester United are indecisive about making a January move for a striker or not. I think they should go for a striker at the earliest opportunity if Rashford and Martial don't improve their performances. Rashford was better than this some weeks ago. He was making use of the chances got in the starting eleven in a really great way. But he started to struggle about scoring goals again. Martial is also not a consistent player. Sometimes we see him being really productive but it doesn't last long.

If they want to be a serious contender for top 4 then they need an improvement in scoring these days. Their incapabilities have caused them to have big problems on getting comfortable wins against much weaker teams. They have really tough opponents aiming top 4 at the same time. Manchester United are like the worst one among them in terms of the amount of scored and conceded goals.

You need to know, Ronaldo did not leave Manchester United, but it was Manchester United who terminated the contract with Ronaldo after the controversial statement to Piers Morgan. Ronaldo departure will not affect Manchester United performance, especially so far Manchester United have lost very often when Ronaldo has played.
Ronaldo's departure can also save the club's expenses because it no longer spends money to pay Ronaldo's high salary. Manchester United will soon be looking for a replacement for Ronaldo, a number of players have begun to be eyed to be brought to Old Trafford.

Ronaldo's exit from Manchester United is no shock at all, the relationship broke down many weeks ago, and it was somewhat certain that he was going to leave Old Trafford, after he had that interview with Piers Morgan, that had to be the end, there was no way he was going to put on a Manchester United shirt after all that he said, even Ronaldo himself knew it was the end.

Having said that, Manchester United were happy to let Ronaldo go, he has not be helpful to them this season, well there was no way he could have been helpful whilst sitting on the bench, but this decision isn't going to mean much for the club, they would basically carry on in the same way they did before the WC started, and they could prolly have a good season. As for the club being up for sale, there is no chaos in that, it is a normal process, and if they get a suitable buyer then the transition will be smooth and wouldn't affect what goes on in the field of play.
