I would say that they are not really going for anything anyway, right now the number one priority of Newcastle is to grow in reputation, meaning even if they pay people a lot of money it is hard to get those players, like even if they can afford Neymar, or Mbappe, would they be able to get them?

It's more than just money for them. Which means if they could get Ronaldo, they would get more views and more reputation and it could work well for them. I know it’s not an easy task, but paying for just half a season of Ronaldo could help them get a lot better players during summer, even if Ronaldo leaves afterwards, the reputation gain will stay because of this small action.

No doubt, he’s a very good player, and a good defensive option for this new Arsenal team. It’s just surprising that  Palmeiras is holding out for the midfielder's £86m release clause. I am aware that Arteta is keen to bring in defensive midfield reinforcements but if Palmeiras doesn’t reduce that price and talk of a normal purchase option without the clause, i doubt Arsenal to continue in this deal. And also, I’m concerned about the fluidity of the midfield. Danilo is a left footed player. Now Odegaard and Xhaka are also left footed, it will obstruct the fluidity of play and imo, it’s not proper to have a left footed player in that role of a Defensive midfielder.

Arsenal know very well in seeing potential future star players. If these rumors come true, then Arsenal can be said to be very lucky considering Danilo has been very consistent with Palmeiras with good statistics in 34 games this season.
Danilo would be a good option for Arsenal in the defensive midfield position now filled by Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka.
Danilo's market price is also relatively cheap at around £17M.
