So Gerard Pique announced officially that he will retire this weekend after Barcelona - Almeria match at the age of 35. I might not understand it well what he meant by the last game in Camp Nou since Barcelona will have another game Tuesday tho away but whatever the exact date, he decided to take a break as a professional player.
Source
We must respect his decision to retire. He has done a big contribution to Barcelona.
To be honest, ideally, he should retire after the season is over but he may have his own consideration to retire soon.

Barcelona have 5 center backs, without Pique, they will have 4 center backs only. Araujo and Kounde are injured, so Barcelona only has 2 available center-backs. I think Barcelona needs a new center-back urgently, they cannot rely on 2 center-backs since they have many remaining matches.

Pique, who gave his all for the team, is without a doubt a legend of Barcelona. Most people are unaware of the reasons behind his quick choice. Right now, his family's future is at risk. He has a family issue. his ex wife is insisting  that he comes to the US.

It's okay if he decided to resign in order to rebuild his family.
Barcelona's new central back was already in place to replace him.

Manchester United seem confident about convincing Dalot and Rashford to sign a contract extension.

I would like to see Rashford staying especially. Because he is still a young talent for the team in the attacking line. Maybe he isn't always a sharp-shooter but his general effort so far has been quite good. The more he finds chances in the starting eleven the better he performs. He has got 7 goals and 3 assists in 16 matches in total so far. As Ronaldo is on the verge of leaving the team as well the team need Rashford a lot now. I know that they have Martial also but I see Rashford as a more skilled striker than Martial to be honest.

I think in that case they can find worthy replacements for both players, at least they can buy for a lot of money, because a young talent (even a mature and established player) seeing huge money will immediately sign a contract. Manchester United have no problem with money, so if they want to, they will spend a lot of money.

Surprised to hear the news that Gerard Pique announced that he would soon retire at the age of 35 to coincide with the last 1 match against Almeria which was his last match. many of his relatives and friends were surprised to hear this because at the age of 35, usually football players will spend their careers in relatively easy leagues such as MLS. but I saw some tweets from the legends of barcelona who judged that barcelona did not really appreciate his services this season because in addition to not getting more playing minutes, pique also had to receive a 2x salary cut from the crisis experienced by barcelona this season.
Xavi claims that pique has experienced a decline in performance, besides that news about pique's discomfort at Barca has been heard a few months ago. In the transfer market next year, it is reported that Barca already has a stock of potential replacements for Pique, namely Benjamin Pavard (Bayern) and Inigo Martinez (Bilbao).
Pique's decision to retire immediately was not an easy one, he said that even though he doesn't play football anymore, he will remain loyal to support Barca.
Pique also had a lot of family issues as well with his divorce and al, that’s not an easy thing neither. I understand that it should not be impacting his playing because he is a professional who is getting paid millions but we are all human and it could be affecting him. So, he is just too old now, and has too much going on, just end his contract and send him away.

I believe Barcelona should have spent some of the money they spent this year on defence, that would have helped them a lot. They have amazing offense that’s true, but lack of good defence caused them to be like this, and that’s a bit of a problem in the long run and there is nothing they can do about it currently.

I'm pretty sure of Marcus Rashford's future with Manchester United. Because there really is no reason for Rashford to reject the offer of a contract extension if there are no changes, this season Rashford has received more trust from coach Erik ten Hag to play. This will certainly have a good impact on his future career
If Marcus Rashford is able to maintain his current form, then no doubt he will get the attention of many people after Cristiano Ronaldo officially left Manchester United maybe in one to two more seasons.
With Manchester United's current condition it is clear they will not let Rashford go but on the other hand at this time Rashford also has not given any response, whether it's still focused on the world cup or he still needs to think about it.
But I quite agree with what you say, with the current conditions there is really high hope for him to still stay at Old Trafford especially with Ten Hag's interest in this player.

One thing I love about Barcelona players is the love they have for the club, the premier league clubs has subconsciously trained their players to be after the money and stats while La Liga side plays for the love of the game. Reports has it that Gerard Piqué has reportedly given up around €30M that Barcelona owed him! Which player can do such in the premier league? Gerard pique did have a wonderful career at Barcelona and internationally that many players will die for, during his time playing, he won 36 trophies in 615 appearances.
Gerard Piqué's titles at Barça:

7️⃣ Copa del Rey
3️⃣ Champions League

Gerard Pique is a legend, his performances for the club have been outstanding and remarkable definitely a time that cannot be forgotten and will forever be imprinted in the hearts of the Barcelona lovers. This gesture showed by Pique to give up such a huge sum owed to him by the club just shows the level of love these players have for the club, I think this is a lesson to the younger players that it is not all about the money but the passion for the game.

During his time at Barcelona, Gerard Piqué has been a remarkable player. As a player, he has served Barcelona for a long time, and he has also remained very loyal to Barcelona throughout all of these years, which has been a great contribution to the club.

In my opinion, he was a very effective defender. There are not many people who will be able to give up €30 million easily. There is no way you will do that unless you are really passionate about your team and want to do what you can for it. This was the correct decision for him to make. I would like to congratulate him on his wonderful career. In the future, I wish him the best of luck in all of his endeavors.

I don't know how this coaches transfers are done and how much they earn. If I may ask, what will be the gain of Arteta if he leaves the Arsenal thag he has organised, arsenal that has the potentials of winning the Epl Tittle and Europa league to Barcelona.
How much does Arsenal pay Arteta and how much will Barcelona pay him. Will Barcelona be able to pay Arteta x2 of what Arsenal pays him?
I am just trying to understand why a coach will leave where he is doing well to jump into where there is much problems to be fixed. Where can possibly cost his career. I consider it to be a rumor and to remain a rumour.
I think the way coaches transfers are done is a lot similar with player transfers, only that when a club wants a certain coach they offer a bigger wage and transfer amount to the club. I consider this as a rumour as Arteta will not want to leave Arsenal at the time especially with the current progress of the team this season. Arteta has done a good job developing and rebuilding the Arsenal squad and he is gradually making huge success in the project so leaving and abandoning the project now will be insane and considering the passion and love he has for the club I think he will remain at the club and continue to build and strive towards the success of the club. I believe with some little additions probably in the next transfer windows the team will grow to become even more successful and stronger. I would love to see him remain at the club and enjoy the success of his hard work.

Mikel Arteta is not looking to leave Arsenal anytime soon, the chances of Mikel Arteta leaving Arsenal this season at least are slim.

Because he has got a good amount of success with Arsenal this season. I’m sure he’s not planning to let that just go away. Arsenal did not do well in the last season and obviously, they are doing very well this season compared to the last one.

Basically, they are even ahead of Manchester City in the first position on the table, and it was not really expected that they would be that far ahead. I don’t think Mikel Arteta will agree to leave Arsenal at this moment, especially after the improvement that he has done in this season.

Manchester United seem confident about convincing Dalot and Rashford to sign a contract extension.
A couple of months ago (before the start of this season) i thought it was all over for Rashford in Manchester United, he wasn't playing, and even when he did, he played quite terribly, but under Erik Ten Hag Rashford is like a completely new player again, he has received the trust of the manager and he is absolutely firing on all cylinders this season, i hope he is consistent and sustains this form till the end of the season. He is certain to stay in Manchester United, and as long as the club makes him a good offer in the contract (which i am sure they will), then he is going to definitely extend his stay.

Having said that, Dalot is also playing very well this season, just like the new signing Martinez, there are only a few players in Manchester United that are not close to the top of their game this season. Thus i think Erik Ten Hag deserves an awful amount of credit, well i also think it will be easy convincing Dalot to sign an extension, things are going on well with the club atm, so these things are easy to get over the line when the club is in a good period.

Roberto Firmino's contract is nearing to its expiration date now as it lasts until June 2023. This might be worrying for Liverpool considering his performance so far in this season.

I have heard that they are preparing an offer for him to extend his contract. I believe he still deserves to be a part of the Liverpool squad right now. There is even a significant improvement in his performance this season. He has 8 goals and 4 assists in 18 matches now. It is nearly even better than his last season performance now. Maybe this is related to the Nunez signing. Because having another striker in the team has increased the competition level quite a lot. Firmino started to be even more ambitious.
I hope Liverpool don't make a second mistake I mean Liverpool selling Sadio Mane in the last summer window was a big mistake for them because Sadio Mane was an important player in Liverpool revival last season. Now Firmino contract issue is also a big question mark whether Liverpool will sell him or will encourage him to accept a new contract offer maybe 1 season ahead. Nunez has not been able to show his good performance this season so Kloop along with important management at Liverpool must be able to keep Firmino from not leaving in the next January transfer window.

Liverpool has no other option than to renew the contract of Firmino. Firmino has been a good striker right from time, he might not be the best for Liverpool but he is always that standby striker who would always be there when there is need for him. For example when the other strikers are faced with injury,  Firmino will be available, when other players lose their form, Firmino will be in good form to stand in for them.
There are some dirty and expensive jobs that he does  for the team and he is needed for that especially this season that Liverpool is struggling to make progress.

That will not make sense, they are not doing well at Liverpool they have a chance to offer Mane contract extension but they failed to do so,now Mane is gone to a good team now. Firmino signing a new contract will put Nunez game time to a short time he will be getting small game timing if Firmino is now fit. They can go on with whatever but that deal is not a good one he is already old.

Just small info.

Since Zarakia played at least 1 minute with Chelsea and before he played in August some minutes with Juventus he can't end in another team during this season.

So he will stay on loan to Chelsea until the end of the season, a player can't change 3 clubs in 1 season.

Pique for sure is one of the greats, both for Barcelona and for his national team.
Unfortunately, his performances dropped by a lot and he's been on the bench a lot this season - so this decision makes sense.
He could still play but he's leaving at the right time if you ask me. Busquets would be smart to think about it as well.

Yes, I agree. He is a great player, but his age is taking a toll on his performance. So, I think he has made the right decision. Honestly, by staying in Barcelona I don’t think he would’ve done anything good for the club anymore. I really think he has already given everything that he could have to Barcelona. And now it is time for him to end the long-term relationship with this club on good terms.

Sergio Busquets is also someone who is really old and should be thinking of doing something similar to  Piqué.

Marcus Rashford is getting better now especially after Erik Ten Hag is the manager of Manchester United. I also want to see he will stay at Manchester United and give the best for the Red Devils. He has been given a lot of trust by Ten Hag so I hope it will be a consideration for him to accept his new contract with Manchester United. However, Manchester United will need him to help the game.
Dalot is also like that, as long as his performance is getting better, then I'm sure he will be defended by Ten Hag. But there is news that his agent wants to bring him to Barcelona, Manchester United must move quickly to get his hands back.

I hope that FC Bayern will assess his value correctly. The statistics this season speak for Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting:

Source: https://www.transfermarkt.de/eric-maxim-choupo-moting/profil/spieler/45660

Of course, it also depends on Choupo-Moting's salary expectations. And here, the player and FC Bayern still seem to be somewhat apart. At least if you can believe in an article from FC Bayern Insider from a few days ago.

I think they will be able to negotiate with the player in the end. I think Bayern needs a striker after the series of losses they had last month and that's why I feel Moting can be a player of value here. Kinda agree with what article says as he can get some interest from other clubs if he starts and scores good no. of goals for Bayern. Now if those clubs offer a better salary then Bayern will lose a proper striker so they might need to work out a better contract and as soon as possible.

I also think that Moting extending contract with Bayern is likely outcome (considering if Bayern also feels the same).
