Is there anyone still remember Paul Pogba? after he's back to Juventus from Manchester United, he's never play any single game due to his Meniscal injury. After his meniscal injury is already recovered, he suffer a new injury and he need to surgery his knee, this make him missed many games on Juventus and World Cup too. I think Messi is still very much in love with Barcelona for sure and it is possible that he still has a dream of returning to Barcelona because after all, Messi is a symbol of Barcelona's success, he started his career there and because of Barcelona, he can become one of the best players in the world. But if we look at the experience he has felt, that he had to walk away because Barcelona can't afford to pay him anymore due to the financial crisis. Then I think this will at least make Messi think further to go back there.

Barcelona may sign Messi for free, but Messi's salary will be a problem. Messi has a big salary, it is not a wise decision to add a new player with a big salary when Barcelona is still in a financial problem. On the other hand, The performance of Lewandowski, Dembélé, and Raphinha look good. There is no need to replace them as the main players. The problem in Barcelona squad is on the midfield and defense lines. Arsenal were already interested in Tielemans in the previous transfer window actually. There were many rumours about a deal for him but it didn't happen. But now Tielemans must be really willing to leave Leicester due to the position of his team in the league now. I assume he wouldn't like to play for a team under the danger of relegating anymore.

They actually brought some good players. Its not like they haven't invested well enough. With CL qualification they needed players and so they got players in attack like Perisic (Conte however puts up as left wing back tho), Richarlison, Bissouma, Lenglet, Spence(young player with potential). Well Spence might lack the experience but rest of those players are really good ones in my opinion. They have good players in mid as well like Hojberg and Bentancaur who does as a great job in ball retention and moving around ball nicely in attack. Son and Kane are bit ineffective this season so far but if they start performing then I believe that Spurs will grab up pace in the table. However, the problem that they have is that they have brought in good players, but they did not build a team around the best players that they have (Kane, Son). And that has resulted in the team making adjustments to those players.
It is now even more necessary for Son to help them out in the midfield as well. In my opinion, that is not the way you bring in good players for your team.
It is my opinion that if they had made a team based on these two players, they would have been able to achieve much more successful results. Furthermore, they would have been able to unlock the maximum potential of Harry Kane and Son. Spurs have played well this season, but a little more consistency is expected from them in the future.

The contribution of Gakpo is very important for PSV. So, I don't think they are going to let him go very easily. But obviously, the money is very good from Manchester United also. They do need that kind of money. This is actually a weird situation because if the player stays in his current team he is not going to improve much and if they sell this player he is going to become a far better player in a bigger club.
