it is even ridiculous to assume that a player's choice to join a team of his choice or a team that is able to pay up to his worth should be seen as an enemy of his former club even if he later plays against them and even scores. Rashford has been one of the longest players at united and even when he was not getting enough playing time due to his poor performance, he still shows up to play whenever his moment comes. there is never a rule that says a player cannot leave a team he seems to have blended well with and still play for another team that are of the same league with his former club.

Rashford is not even a bad player after all and even though his level of performance has dropped below what united needs, he might end up playing really well for Aston villa. if garnacho and sancho can be linked to Chelsea that is more of a united rival, why can't Rashford play for Aston villa? if same Rashford flops at Aston villa same united fans that sees him as rebel will still speak ill of him.

Actually, most of them are in their retirement years. But some footballers are true professionals and perform well even in their years. One of them for me is Edin Dzeko. He's a bit older but he's producing good stats for Fenerbahçe. Apart from that, Galatasaray have made some very good signings in recent years. Icardi, Osimhen, Torreira and finally Alvaro Morata. Since the title race in the league is usually between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, these two teams make good signings. It's because in the past, Manchester United thought Rashford can be one of the best player in the world, that's why they choose to extend his contract until 2028 with high salary. Unfortunately the plan doesn't go like they expect, Rashford become annoying and no big teams wants him since his salary too high while his performance not really good enough.

So we can't blame Manchester United, Rashford still have 3 years with Manchester United.

I think Marcus Rashford is the architect of his own woes, he has refused to prove his worth to the coach, he refused to accept responsibility by accepting all the challenges thrown at him by Amorim. Do you remember how Gareth Southgate dropped him and some other players out of the England squad for the European cup? it shows that the player has been out of form for a very long time and has refused to work hard to earn back his place in the team, so I don't blame Amorim, rather I think it is left for Rashford to accept a loan move to Aston villa or any other club and see if he can improve on his game then maybe the coach might reconsider bringing him back if necessary.

Players moving to other clubs in the same league is not a new thing that happens in a competition, this is not too surprising in my opinion, but if he moves to Man City, it will clearly be very sensational news in the EPL.
