Personally, I also speculate about Ten Hag future fate if he fails to achieve his target with Man United again next season. This is an opportunity as well as a big challenge for his managerial career, his quality and strategy will be tested to the limit of his abilities, how much genius Ten Hag is in managing Bruno Fernandes and his friends. Ten Hag certainly realizes that he has to work harder to repay the trust of management and club officials, amidst the competition for trophies becoming more competitive next season. The pressure Ten Hag faces will be heavier, and it will be very difficult to realize his ambitions if Ten Hag does not completely control the dressing room.

It seems that Ten Hag has to change his approach to players so that harmonious relationships can be created within the team, giving full trust to players without favoritism. They should invest in a one strong attacker particularly a striker who can give them a strong hold of any defenders or build two wingers and one tapping man just like Guardiola did with Manchester City, he used Haaland, Fodin and Kevin to distribute attack on enemies and it's working for him when they need them the most, with such strategy Manchester united don't need to spend money on a new coach if that's what they want but a new coach will go a long way.

Erik Tan Hag staying at United means a lot, because it will give him one more season and he has something big to show. To me, I feel INEOS made a very good choice in retaining Eric Ten Hag, he might not have been very successful in the concluded season but winning two trophies in two years is something worth giving him a second chance, if you notice, he's currently the most successful coach post Sir Fergusons era in Manchester United and with the right recruitment I think he'll do better this coming season. Like you said Manchester United is going through a process and with Ten Hag and the new recruited teams in the board level, including a new medical team and restructure of the training ground, not leaving out new recruited players next  season, i believe they'll be successful and would probably challenge for the EPL trophy and qualify for UCL but I expect them to be one of the top contenders of the Europa League next season.
