Maybe and just maybe Manchester United don't have the kind of money we think they have anymore. I have the feeling that there is something fishy about Barcelona's source of financial strength in this transfer that is still unknown to the public, let's face fact, how come they have so much money to sign these big players and cannot pay player's wages.
It is true that Barcelona is in financial trouble. But still they are spending a huge amount of money to recruit star players. It is not yet clear how their funds are coming. But I heard they are raising funds through they sell their shares. Joan Laporta has yet to say anything to the media about how he is raising such a large fund. But Barcelona is forced to cut player wages, yet I don't understand why they are wasting money by adding extra players to the squad.
There were good rumors about Barcelona financial situation and many doubts were around how they are going to manage things for the next season, but suddenly they are spending hug money in transfer window for having few quality players surely a miserable situation for all but as they released few updates now things are clear even still clouds are running on them how they will manage and can things be in the way as they are having their targets for future nothing is clear.

We have few updates that they have around £700 million with the selling of their media rights, and also they sell their shares into merchandise which also give them some good amount, but these all things need good performance from them in coming years otherwise this could be the biggest regret for the management.

Honestly I am sad to see Georginio Wijnaldum condition at PSG, he has made the wrong decision in his career, when his contract ended with Liverpool, he almost officially moved to Barcelona, but at the last second Wijnaldum was fascinated by the salary offered by PSG and he gave false hope for Barcelona. Now that he is no longer needed at PSG and has allowed him to immediately look for a new club, Wijnaldum must immediately reach an agreement with Roma that can give him a safe position in the first squad, he had to make amends for the mistakes he had made by showing his best performance when given a second chance by Mourinho. Wijnaldum had achieved success with Liverpool, he had to prove it again when he officially became a Roma player.
This is the story of the grass is not greener else where, wijnaldum has all a football player wants in a club, love, respect, playing time and was winning trophies but still yet he wanted to text himself elsewhere, I think he was thinking if he is the reason Liverpool midfield is stronger if they don't regard me the way they regards Mohamed Salah and sadio Mane then I should go so that they will miss me and know my worth not knowing he was privileged to be in the first team at Liverpool.
Georginio Wijnaldum is not alone in this boat we have very long list of players those done mistakes like these and shattered their future and great career into disaster, but good thing happened to him now officially he is Roma player and have good chance for staying into first team which mean have good time for showing his best and still can achieve some good in his career.

Georginio Wijnaldum's stay at Liverpool was his best time and with his transfer to Barcelona was also not bad, but greediness of more money shattered this all and PSG was never been ideal destination for him and his career where most of the time he was at bench, and now they are saying please check something new for his future hopefully now he will take his lesson and have some better here at Roma where Mourinho is also doing his best for revival of his career.

I don't understand why Barcelona is being so strong in the transfer market. They are known for hijacking  every target of Chelsea fc in the transfer market. They have signed good number of good players, they don't want to give up on players like De Jong. Some players are taking pay cut and yet Barcelona wants to sign futher good players like Silva. I am such surprised and happy for them. Club like Manchester united who has money and wants to be strong this season are not being serious. Let's see how the season will be.

My understanding is that Barcelona are not allowed to use Goldman Sachs' money to attract players but that they were able to make a last minute deal with Spotify and that they have signed a lucrative contract with Barcelona. Based on that income, they were able to attract new players. They could also use the money from Frenkie de Jong, but I have the idea that de Jong himself does not want to leave because he still has a lot of money from Barcelona.

Bloated market because for the past two years teams had a big big pandemic situation where they didn't really had much of a transfer, sure some did, but nothing was set in stone and all of the transfers were lower than expected at those periods and financials do not add up right now for the small clubs, which are asking for a lot more these days from big clubs to make the teams whole.

This means that if we are seeing bloated numbers, that is because many players were sold undervalued for a long time and that is the reason for it. I personally believe that the best we could do right now would be to make sure that we do not check transfers, but whole rosters to be fair.

Marc Cucurella, a defender for Brighton, is on the verge of joining Chelsea. The 24-year-old will soon move to Stamford Bridge and become the club's newest acquisition of the Todd Boehly era.
Manchester City coveted Cucurella earlier this summer, but the Premier League champions declined to accept Brighton's demand of more than £50 million, walking away from negotiations after their initial £40 million offer was turned down. Chelsea were therefore able to start their own discussions with Brighton and swiftly expressed their willingness to pay the requested amount. Now, an agreement was almost reached between the two sides.

Chelsea seems hard to win any trophy this season because their squad looks not very convincing. Even Tuchel said that they are not ready to face the competition. Since they have no strong CF, Vardy isn't a bad solution for their attacking line. But I don't think Vardy will be good for a long-term plan. They can rely on him for 1-2 seasons only, the rest they need to look for another top CF. Vardy is already 35 years old, it is not an ideal age for a productive striker, if there is another option, Chelsea is better to choose another one.

It will be difficult for Chelsea this time around losing some of their first team players this summer and not getting replacements yet. If they have hopes of winning the league before now, the fans should give up and set their hopes on the next season hopefully things will be much better next year because with the squad other rival teams have I don't think Chelsea can match the competition this season with their current squad except they are able to turn the table around before the close of the transfer window.

Georginio Wijnaldum is about to sign with Roma. The Giallorossi and PSG are finalizing a loan agreement. In the coming days, the midfielder is anticipated to take a flight to Italy to complete a medical and sign a contract.
Roma and PSG have agreed on the basic terms of their contract, which includes a €7 million buyout option. Next season, the Giallorossi will cover 65% of his salary. He will sign a two-year deal and receive €4.5 million annually if he stays in the Italian city.

Reportedly Roma did not agree to the obligation to buy after the contract ended Roma want it as an option maybe yes, maybe not
Georginio Wijnaldum himself reportedly sacrificed his salary and bonuses at PSG in order to move to Roma because he didn't get the chance to play last season.

Chelsea is now quite different from chelsea under Abramovich ownership before, this season chelsea continues to try to bring in new players but for some reason many of these players seem reluctant to join chelsea, unlike when the Abramovich era had chelsea, chelsea at that time seemed to be a destination for star players to join and it's not even difficult for chelsea to get their target players in the transfer market, throughout the transfer market this season started, chelsea has actually lost some of their important players but chelsea has only got one new player at this time, do you think chelsea prestige at this time has this fallen or maybe the current owner of chelsea is a stingy person and a lot of business calculations?
I will agree with you, it almost feels like a complete different club after the take over. This is not the Chelsea we have known for a long time. The Chelsea I know would have signed at least four top quality players by now, they have being very slow in their dealings this summer although some good players have joined but it used to be better than this, I don't think the new owner is stingy because he's actually spending much on the few they have got, maybe he is just taking his time to assess the best options that suits the club.

I don't think Alex Telles had a very bad performance last season. He even managed to score a goal in 4 Champions League appearances. Still he couldn't please Ten Hag. Ten Hag may be looking for someone more experienced to bolster their defense. 29-year-old Alex Telles can easily adapt to any team.
Telles' condition was difficult when Manchester United brought Tyrell Malacia in this transfer window, which indirectly made him displaced from the position of left back at Manchester United.
It is currently reported that Sevilla will borrow Telles for one season but there is no permanent purchase option in the contract and this is like giving Telles an opportunity to develop while seeing whether he is worthy of being extended by Manchester United or not.

Now Chelsea has their fingers in the transfer market. Chelsea have agreed to sign a 18 years old midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa. There is a doubt in my mind as to whether his decision to join Chelsea was the right one. However, I wish him the best of luck. Come and fight for your place.
I wonder what Chelsea was doing to have wait up to this moment before pushing for some transfer options. They've been really behind in the transfer market and i feel it's going to be a difficult season for the blues and its going to be all on Thomas Tuchel as his been very selective in the transfer market.
For Carney Chukuemeka, I think Chelsea is an excellent choice. Its left for him to come up with his best performance as, Chelsea is sure to give him the exposure he needs in the Premier League and Champions league if he could manage to earn some playing time.
I think he will enjoy a reasonable amount of playtime. I would think that a decent amount of playtime would be able to prove what he is worth. The 18-year-old is getting a six-year contract for £20 million, which seems like a good deal for his future. Seems like he will be able to work for a long time with Chelsea.

Even though he is still young but he already has a fairly high selling value of almost 15 million pounds, Chukwuemeka is one of the future football stars because his performances have been quite slick and he is also a versatile midfielder when playing for aston villa, recruiting young players will be a good investment for chelsea especially players like Chukwuemeka are quite talented players and have great potential in the future, but I think the recruitment of Chukwuemeka at this time can not be a solution for chelsea for this season, because after all chelsea still needs some senior and experienced players to can fill some of the positions that have been left by Lukaku, rudiger and also Christensen.
Obviously, having a contract like this with a team of the English Premier League is exciting, especially when one is only 18 years old. I think it is a smart investment by Chelsea. But the thing is Chelsea will have to keep investing time and money to develop this player. He is a very promising future prospect in my opinion. And I am not saying this just by looking at the transfer fee. He is a genuine young talent.

Manchester United are ready to prepare a loan deal for one of their player, Alex Telles. The contract will just last for just a season with Sevilla and it doesn't include a buy option. Alex Telles will travel to Sevilla to undergo main section of his medical tests on Thursday. It's a good move for Alex as he looks to seek more playing experience outside Manchester United, and he's going extra mile just get fit and consistent in games.
If this information is real, it's a goodnews for Telles. Many players go on loan and learn from there and they normally have good chances of recovery next season after the loan. It is unfortunate for Telles as he didn't find a place in Erik's team. He didn't impress in the pre season and obviously everyone was given chance to prove. I expected him to do same as Dalot did, it could be that it is not yet his time. I wish him success.

I only think about the competitive market, I mean the players Chelsea are after are also being targeted by other top teams with better offers and title chances. I don't think about the stinginess of Chelsea's management in terms of player salaries, we never really know what the exact amount is when a player gets an offer from Chelsea, but for sure there are competitive factors that make players choose other teams instead of considering Chelsea's offers.

I think I know which player you are referring to, if I'm not mistaken it is Kounde and Raphinha who joined Barcelona but are also wanted by Chelsea. If you think Barcelona pay them high then it must be wrong because they are not good enough financially compared to Chelsea. So there are other factors you can think about than just about money.

Last season he didn't do well at PSG and it looks like PSG don't mind releasing this player either.
Other news also came that said that Wijnaldum really wanted to move to AS Roma. however, he first received a bonus from PSG and received a slight reduction in salary.
Actually this is still something good for Wijnaldum because it is better to move than unused and be on the bench at PSG.

Any other offer from the another top club is pretty much more appealing compared to Manchester United offered. For some reason, De Jong doesnt want to move with no clear reasoning on that although Barcelona has explicitly shown their interest on selling him even after stating that he needs to take a pay cut for him to stay at the club.
It seems that De Jong wanted to go to either Bayern or Chelsea, but Bayern does not need him, and Chelsea has not yet made a direct offer. He does not want to leave Barcelona for obvious reasons - this is the club he dreamed of playing at + they owe him a lot of money + he already has a valid contract and a great salary. What's the point of him leaving? I hope he will stand on his own terms until the very end and will not agree to a pay cut.
United was the team that had the most chance but they already got some players. If United wanted to spend that kind of money, it would have been the perfect fit because they have his own manager back on Ajax days there, and he would know how to use him. This will in return cause the team to not have the most optimum player, but they have enough and they will not worry about it anymore.

Chelsea is not a serious bidder, they have a new owner who is "willing to spend" for many many many players, they have 10 pages of "potential players" they want to buy and we all know they will not get all of them. Bayern already spent so much this year, not seeing how that could happen.
