We have few updates that they have around £700 million with the selling of their media rights, and also they sell their shares into merchandise which also give them some good amount, but these all things need good performance from them in coming years otherwise this could be the biggest regret for the management.

Georginio Wijnaldum's stay at Liverpool was his best time and with his transfer to Barcelona was also not bad, but greediness of more money shattered this all and PSG was never been ideal destination for him and his career where most of the time he was at bench, and now they are saying please check something new for his future hopefully now he will take his lesson and have some better here at Roma where Mourinho is also doing his best for revival of his career.

My understanding is that Barcelona are not allowed to use Goldman Sachs' money to attract players but that they were able to make a last minute deal with Spotify and that they have signed a lucrative contract with Barcelona. Based on that income, they were able to attract new players. They could also use the money from Frenkie de Jong, but I have the idea that de Jong himself does not want to leave because he still has a lot of money from Barcelona.

Bloated market because for the past two years teams had a big big pandemic situation where they didn't really had much of a transfer, sure some did, but nothing was set in stone and all of the transfers were lower than expected at those periods and financials do not add up right now for the small clubs, which are asking for a lot more these days from big clubs to make the teams whole.

This means that if we are seeing bloated numbers, that is because many players were sold undervalued for a long time and that is the reason for it. I personally believe that the best we could do right now would be to make sure that we do not check transfers, but whole rosters to be fair.

I will agree with you, it almost feels like a complete different club after the take over. This is not the Chelsea we have known for a long time. The Chelsea I know would have signed at least four top quality players by now, they have being very slow in their dealings this summer although some good players have joined but it used to be better than this, I don't think the new owner is stingy because he's actually spending much on the few they have got, maybe he is just taking his time to assess the best options that suits the club.

I only think about the competitive market, I mean the players Chelsea are after are also being targeted by other top teams with better offers and title chances. I don't think about the stinginess of Chelsea's management in terms of player salaries, we never really know what the exact amount is when a player gets an offer from Chelsea, but for sure there are competitive factors that make players choose other teams instead of considering Chelsea's offers.

I think I know which player you are referring to, if I'm not mistaken it is Kounde and Raphinha who joined Barcelona but are also wanted by Chelsea. If you think Barcelona pay them high then it must be wrong because they are not good enough financially compared to Chelsea. So there are other factors you can think about than just about money.

Last season he didn't do well at PSG and it looks like PSG don't mind releasing this player either.
Other news also came that said that Wijnaldum really wanted to move to AS Roma. however, he first received a bonus from PSG and received a slight reduction in salary.
Actually this is still something good for Wijnaldum because it is better to move than unused and be on the bench at PSG.
