Roma are very close to finishing the signing of Andrea Belotti now. I wonder if Mourinho is thinking of a game plan that there are two forwards in. Because with this transfer they are going to have five forwards in the team. Maybe they can play with 3-5-2 formation. Belotti will be a really good addition btw. He is a very capable striker and can help the team become more effective in scoring goals. They are aiming high this season so this is one of the good moves for that.
It’s obvious that Mourinho is preparing for next season. And one thing I like about Mourinho is adding experience to his side to balance up. Mourinho is definitely up to something exciting in Rome, he has done some really interesting/cost effective businesses in this transfer window this season and I expect him to do more. Andrea Belotti is an experienced, effective and versatile striker. José knows what he can offer in his team. Besides Dybala is injury prone so there’s need to have a reliable striker available.

The presence of Kepa has been considered a parasite for Chelsea, especially with the arrival of Gabriel Slonina now. Kepa will definitely not be able to break into the current squad even for the 2nd goalkeeper it will be very difficult.
It would be very good if he went now to Napoli because this would also allow him to compete again even with a different club. This most expensive goalkeeper seems to be wasted now because he lost the competition.
He was once a hero to chelsea, but pity he couldn't maintain the best performance.  Mendy's arrival also made him even more lost. If Napoli wants to buy it, it is certainly good luck for him, as long as he becomes the first in Naples. If it's just being a backup it's the same. I also heard that chelsea can also provide a loan option. But I don't know if there is any official news until now.

This season, it seems that chelsea has added several professional players from other clubs, for example Carney Chukwuemeka, who has started to enter chelase from this date, and the plan is that there are still other players who will be recruited by chelsea because they have prepared a very large amount of money. to strengthen its position.
In addition, Gabriel Slonina has also joined Chelsea yesterday (that's what I read on transfermarkt). And that's also amazing because a goalkeeper with a very young age and on the other hand Chelsea are also in need of a few more new players to strengthen all the lines that are still lacking before next season starts. And I think Chelsea must move faster at this point in order to get a few more players before the transfer window closes.

Chelsea is not having so much trouble in the team. They have good team before this time for new season. The big problem they have is the scoring man. If they have a good striker they will do well. Remember they have sterling who is a good player and they did not lose many players apart from defenders. If Verdy agree to go Chelsea, he will help you club and he will score good goals.

I read that United have two alternatives if they don't get De Jong, and in my opinion they are very valid:

Ruben Neves, Portuguese from Wolverhampton, in which the presence of fellow countrymen Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes could facilitate the adaptation of the 25-year-old defensive midfielder who was revealed to be an excellent player while still at Porto.
And another option would be the Belgian Youri Tielemans, from Leicester City, who was once coveted even by Arsenal.

Anyway... United are very into De jong, but if I can't get him, he shouldn't be left behind.... someone they're still going to hire.
The issue with de Jong is that, Barcelona are yet to pay him salary that is due to be paid. On top of it, he agreed to take a pay cut, so that he could play for Barcelona. He's left with no choice but stay, until he gets fully paid. With Barcelona in financial trouble, he knows. Once he leaves, so does the money. Also the fact that he wants to be a part of post Messi era and become a star there but Barcelona isnt letting him be.

De Jong saga is what I don't wish to hear anymore. Come to think of it, even if United gets De Jong, he isn’t gonna play every single game and for 90mins. What if he gets injured? They need more than 1 midfield player. I don’t understand the club's strategy. Creating an over reliance on a player before you’ve even signed him. On the other hand, I think Man United should go after Laimer from Leipzig if the deal with Barca for De Jong falls through.

Talks regarding the transfer of De Jong to Manchester United are no longer interesting to follow. In my opinion, Manchester United just wants to comply with the wishes of Erik ten Hag who really likes his former players at Ajax Amsterdam.
This condition is being exploited by Barca by increasing De Jong's transfer fee for Man United and making De Jong willing to reduce his salary if the player chooses to stay. Instead of expecting the uncertainty of Frenkie De Jong, I think Manchester United should look for other players because Cristian Eriksen is already available in the same position as De Jong.

Roma are very close to finishing the signing of Andrea Belotti now.
Where do you know if Belotti is close to join Roma? Do you get the information from this source https://www.chiesaditotti.com/2022/8/1/23287234/report-andrea-belotti-agrees-to-three-year-deal-with-roma? Sure, it is good news for fans of AS Roma although I don't think signing Belotti is very needed.

Yep, AS Roma already has some strikers but Mourinho may assume it is still not enough to compete for the title. I don't know if Mourinho really considers using the strategy of 2 strikers on the lineups. However, AS Roma has 4 wingers, it may be not effective if AS Roma uses 2 strikers. TBH, I'm confused about Mourinho plan for Roma attacking line.  Grin

So far, ManU lost hope to bring him and they are looking for alternatives like Tielemans and Neves. De Jong don't want to join them since they won't play CL.

Its about time for the club to realize that they cant sign him and there is no reason to sign him anymore with De Jong keep on insisting not to join. Why would ten Hag even wants to bring in a player that shows no enthusiasm to play for the club, it would totally affect his performance if he is not happy on playing for Manchester United and its just silly to do so

I agree that De Jong eventually might not leave Barcelona this season, Barcelona president keeps insisting they plan to keep and consider him important but then I think it could all just be a façade, but Barcelona are making progress with creating space within the squad to afford registration of new players, Oscar Mingueza is the first player to leave in the last 24 hours, but it's a free transfer with Barcelona having two clause included in the deal, a buy back clause and also 50% sell on clause, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, and then Depay is looking like the next to leave too, but Barcelona are trying to get paid for the deal, with every team now taking the advantage of Barcelona's desperation to negotiate free agency.

Chelsea seems hard to win any trophy this season because their squad looks not very convincing. Even Tuchel said that they are not ready to face the competition. Since they have no strong CF, Vardy isn't a bad solution for their attacking line.
I wonder why Thomas Tuchel would make such statement , are they not in the same transfer market business with other clubs?, what were they doing when FC Barcelona highjacked Lewandowski and Kounde from their hand, Please I don't want him to start giving excuses when he had the opportunity to sign more quality players that could help the team this season , he must be ready to fight for the tittle this season come rain come shine he's been to get his team ready for any competition.

I didn't expect a great coach like Tuchel to say that, it seems he was quite annoyed and frustrated that he failed to get the player he wanted.
Because we know Chelsea have lost several times to compete with Barcelona to get new players. The new Chelsea owners should learn from
Abramovich who can convince a star player to join Chelsea. Therefore, there are rumors that Chelsea have changed their minds to sell Marcos Alonso
and Cesar Azpilicueta to Barcelona. In fact, both players are rumored to really want to move to Barcelona.

It is very interesting to see the competition between Chelsea and Barcelona in the transfer market this summer. But I agree with you, that Tuchel as
a professional coach should not say that he is not ready for the new season, simply because Chelsea failed to get the players they wanted.
After all, the transfer market is still open for the next few weeks for Chelsea to fight for the players they want, so I hope Tuchel can show a better attitude.

Even though it is at a very expensive price, it seems that De Jong is reluctant to move to Manchester United because this club does not play in the Champions League this will be hopeless for Manchester United because in any case if forced it will not be a maximum performance.

But according to other rumors, there are two alternative midfielders being targeted from Southampton and Wolves but I think it looks like Ten Hag is still waiting for a decision from De Jong.

A trophy will not come easy for Chelsea this season, this season is looking very unpredictable at the moment and like an open competition to all the teams that finished top five last season including MUFC. There are rumours that Chelsea are interested in signing Jamie Vardy from Leicester as a short term option to solve their need for a proven goal scorer this season, but I'm concerned about how effective he will be if the move turns out successful considering Vardy and Injuries have been five and six lately.

They can rely on him for 1-2 seasons only, the rest they need to look for another top CF. Vardy is already 35 years old, it is not an ideal age for a productive striker, if there is another option, Chelsea is better to choose another one.

Agreed, So many players got hijacked and this time its club actually even weaker compared with the last season. Vardy is not good at this moment. The problem is the close of transfer season became even closer and chelsea is very difficult to attract the new players to come in. There must be a fast step to he made by this club or it will not get the new players to add more strength to its club. Im sure that if people very well aware about that. this club is not ready at this moment.

I think we just need that striker now and everything is set for the season. It definitely not going to be an easy one but won't be disappointing as well. We're lifting a trophy as always this season.

Barcelona's ambitions in the transfer market this season have not stopped, it is reported that they will bring Silva to Camp Nou.

I think they really need Bernardo Silva. He is a creative player who will enrich attacking organizations in the midfield. Bernardo Silva is a player who can feed players like Lewandowski with good passes. Also, his chances of playing for Manchester City are dwindling. I think he will respond positively to Barcelona's offer.
I don't understand why Barcelona is being so strong in the transfer market. They are known for hijacking  every target of Chelsea fc in the transfer market. They have signed good number of good players, they don't want to give up on players like De Jong. Some players are taking pay cut and yet Barcelona wants to sign futher good players like Silva. I am such surprised and happy for them. Club like Manchester united who has money and wants to be strong this season are not being serious. Let's see how the season will be.

I'm exhilarated that Todd Boehly keen on bringing in another top talented Midfielder into the team. Aston Villa professional Midfielder, Carney Chukwuemeka who's just 18years old have great impact in the clarets Midfield despite his age. This are the kind of players Thomas Tuchel is looking for to add to his squad. Blues have already complete talks and agree personal terms with the player who signed a long term contract with the club until 2028. He's brought in for a fee around £15m plus add-ons. Tomorrow Carney will undergo medical tests in London for his new team. Sooner or later, he will be unveiled as new signing for the club.

I don't know who's doing the scouting job at Chelsea but that person definitely knows what he's doing. Signing raw talent like this shows the new owners of Chelsea with Todd boehly isn't just here to make money but to build from where Abramovich stopped. Since our big target players are causing lots of issue and if we are to continue like that, we mightn't get our squad sorted out before the league starts then it's better we go for less high profile players but also have the same quality and would cost us less.

When I saw the news of Carney Chukwuemeka been linked to Chelsea, I initially thought it was Samuel Chukwueze until I checked the name again. I think we just need that striker now and everything is set for the season. It definitely not going to be an easy one but won't be disappointing as well. We're lifting a trophy as always this season.
