I don't think that there is any chance that Bernardo Silva will leave Manchester City for Barcelona and there are several reasons for that. Barcelona team is better than Manchester United in all aspects. So why would de Jong decide to go to a relatively weak team with no future? de Jong is not stupid, so he decided to stay in Barcelona. I agree with you that Manchester United should try to sign players who are not interested in the Champions League. They should stabilize the performance this season. Hope for consistency in performance and qualification for the Champions League. Then maybe next season they will be able to add some star players to the squad.
