The decision to sell Sadio Mane will now be profitable for Liverpool. Although Mane is a very important player in the squad. His replacement is a bit difficult but not impossible. Darwin Núñez is a very talented player. Maybe he also scored 39 goals in Benfica's jersey last season. However, Darwin Núñez will need some time to adjust to the Liverpool squad. But if he is able to adapt to the Liverpool squad, I believe he will be a better player than Sadio Mane.

Mane decides to leave, he has one year left on his Liverpool contract, but the contract extension Liverpool offered him was far below what he demanded, so he decided to leave, he's 30 years old, and money is always important at this point in every player's career as they approach retirement.

I've seen Nunez a few times, he's a good player with a lot of potential, but when these young players move to a more competitive league like the Premier League, they often struggle to adapt, and even if he does adapt quickly, he won't be able to outshine Mane's Liverpool legacy for long.

^  But Luis Diaz could play the left wing role that Mane has become accustomed to under Klopp's system right?  I think Diaz could play it a tad better for the eyes of the spectator.  He reminds me of the Hazard of old during his time at Chelsea.

Anyway, guys new poll!  I think it's going to be a fun one.  Grin  Would also appreciate it if you share what you think after your vote.

And how good is Frenkie de Jong?  I keep reading he's United's top summer transfer target.  Is he good enough to be the captain someday?

I have been saying exactly the same thing for a long time because PSG has nothing to attract Zidane. And for PSG with the type of players that they have in the team, they should not be losing even one match in the league one competition but they often lose matches that they should not be losing. In this situation, it is really unrealistic to think that they will win the Champions League title, that's why I think Zidane doesn't want to coach PSG.
I thought that in the case of Pochettino, PSG would make an exception and give him more time, but I see that nothing changes, the failure in the Champions League and the coach leaves his post. It seems that they still want to invite Zidane to take his place, but I don't know how much better he will be than Pochettino. It is strange that PSG did not invite Anceloti after winning this year. Smiley

To win in Ligue 1 in every match, they need to have big motivation, and if they are ahead of the nearest team by 10 or more points, then the mood for the game will be appropriate and there is no point in winning all games in the championship, I don’t know if this is possible.

So as things stand, Sadio Mane moving to Bayern still remains a mystery as all bids made by Bayern Munich keep getting rejected for whatever reason....or is it the club trying to get back at Mane by frustrating this transfer move...Is Mane really going to Germany, If this doesn't happen United will have its doors open for such a talent and they will pay well toob Tongue

I think if Lewandowski doesn't want to stay at Bayern Munich and is looking for a new team, then Bayern Munich management will be interested in signing Sadio Mane. Otherwise, they will not waste money on Sadio Mane. Their squad is already strong enough.

Despite Mane's decision to leave Liverpool, Mohamed Salah is likely to stay with Liverpool next season. If Salah and Mane had left Liverpool together, it would have been difficult for Liverpool to have a stable performance next season.
Sadio Mane has refused to sign a new contract with Liverpool so willingly or not Liverpool will have to let Mane go this season otherwise he will leave for free next season.
M.Salah will not leave Liverpool I'm sure of that and even Liverpool have prepared Darwin Núñez to look forward to next season and replace Sadio Mane so there will be a very good trio at Liverpool next season, M.Salah, Darwin Núñez and also Diogo Jota. this will make Liverpool's performance even better I think.

The decision to sell Sadio Mane will now be profitable for Liverpool. Although Mane is a very important player in the squad. His replacement is a bit difficult but not impossible. Liverpool have been known in recent seasons for recruiting good players who come into the team and fit in to their style of play immediately and show productivity, with Sadio Mane leaving this Liverpool side I think they now have suitable options and have a replacement put in place for Mane's position.

I can say that there have been so many rumours about him to be transferred by another team in the summer transfer window. It makes sense to me too because he won't be able to play for a long time if he stays longer at Manchester City. He had so many opportunities in last season because they didn't have a better alternative than Gabriel Jesus. He played decently too. But they have Erling Haaland now and it seems very difficult for Gabriel Jesus to show himself in so many games.
Manchester City is a club that is quite loyal to its players and when Jesus' position was still at Man City, I think his potential in the future is very promising. If you see from the special treatment of Manchester City, they are always enough to give their best even for a Jesus, he will continue to be maintained. Indeed, if you think about it, Jesus at Manchester City cannot be separated from each other. Both need each other.

Gabriel Jesus is the focal point for many big teams now seemingly. Arsenal might be the team that need a striker like him the most now. On the other hand, Chelsea might need a striker too if they lose Romelu Lukaku this summer. Gabriel Jesus is a very capable striker and he is very young too. I guess so many teams would like to see him in their lineup. In my opinion Arsenal will manage to sign him.
I haven't heard if Jesus really wants to end his career with Manchester City just because of Haaland but if it's true then I think he should put his ego aside because only with Manchester City can he win titles so far. Even if Haaland is able to make a big contribution to Manchester City next season, then Jesus will also get a chance to show his ability because Manchester City have a number of matches from several different competitions. Jesus for Arsenal seems like a step back but if he stays then I think there is hope for him to compete with Haaland.

Rumors like this will likely continue until there is some confirmation from MU and Ronaldo Cheesy
But I still feel that even if Ronaldo is going to leave Manchester United he will not be in Rome because regardless of what it is, it is very difficult to see in my opinion the chance is very small. I even doubt he will go to Serie A again.
It's still not clear, this issue appears a couple of months ago after Ten Hag has been the official Manager of MU because both have different types when in the field, where Ten Hag always uses strategy pressure on the opponent, which makes Ronaldo must run to get a ball. another issue is, that Ronaldo might be a center-forward where it's not what he likes before. about Roma, if happen there will be a past relationship between both in real Madrid, but still if Ronaldo like past, there will be a mismatch also between Ronaldo and Mourinho.
But for now I'm still not too sure even if the style of play or whatever is the problem, I still feel that Ronaldo will stay at Manchester United this season even though there are still many rumors and there is no certainty because there is no official statement but I'm sure he will survive because in this case, even if ETH doesn't really match Ronaldo in terms of schemes, he can still use ETH's role.

It would be perfect if Zidane was included in the PSG project next season. The players in the PSG squad are quite complete in all lines. PSG only need a coach like Zidane as the captain who will bring glory to PSG.

Zidane is also a role model. All players will respect his career and will take his career as an example. In fact, the team has Lionel Messi. He can do that too. But Zidane can also reinforce that feeling. Strong characters can take the team phenomenon to a higher level. I think Zidane would be a good choice for Paris Saint-Germain. He is a character who can provide the spiritual transformation that the team is looking for.
PSG is a club with many surprises. After signing Messi, Zidane is now the one who signed for PSG's big target next season.
Zidane has the responsibility to form a more solid team. PSG are doing well domestically, but they have no achievements in Europe. now Zidane's big target is the Champions League trophy.
it looks like PSG will bring in a few more players who will make the squad the best this season.
Zidane UCL trophy records during his tenure as Real Madrid manager is excellent, he won the trophy thrice that is he is a highly rated manager, I believe that is why PSG wanted to sign him knowing his wealth of experience in European league will enable the club to win the coveted UCL trophy which had eluded the club, I am sure in days ahead PSG will consult him to take over their managerial role, though it's unfortunate that Pochetino was ask to leave having tried every effort to win UCL trophy proved abortive, I believe PSG has a good reason to try another manager

Finally, Haaland signed on and officially became a Manchester City player. The contract will be for 5 years. There was a 75 million Euro release clause in his contract with Dortmund, and Manchester City used this to end the transfer. I think they bought one of the best strikers for very cheap price. That was the missing piece for Manchester City and they are much stronger now. Now the goal should be to win the Champions League.
Manchester City's seriousness to bring in Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund has been going on for a long time. And finally they confirmed that they have got Haaland fully to play with them next season. This is good news for Manchester City fans because the player they have been waiting for has finally arrived. Next season Manchester City will be even more terrible with Haaland strengthened.
Haalland has officially become the property of manchester city with a pretty fantastic price, manchester city has introduced haalaand as a new member of their squad for the 2022/2023 season and he will strengthen manchester city until 2027, the arrival of haalaand clearly shows if manchester city is right now ready to defend the EPL trophy next season and become a strong candidate for the UCL trophy, the front line of manchester city is now quite strong but I think there will still be some new transfers that they will do later to strengthen the middle and defense, and this is clearly a form of warning for their rivals to be wary of next season against manchester city...!

PSG next job is to find a replacement for Mauricio Pochettino. Guess who?
Is it Zidane? I don't think Zidane.

All the news if Zidane goes to Paris for discussions with PSG has not been proven. Even manager Zidane said, no discussions took place. No proposal has yet gone to Alain Migliaccio. But maybe this will change soon as Mauricio Pochettino seems to be gone. Pochettino failed to bring the UCL trophy to paris, and that left him with a need to leave. Zidane is the best option for PSG. Although some news dahalu he is interested in coaching the French national team. Currently Zidane is a talented Young coach, he has led madrid to win 2 times UCL and La LIga.

PSG have decided to part ways with Pocchetino after all. They must be fairly confident of agreeing terms with Zidane then - he is their first choice manager.

To be honest - if they are building a project, I feel they should have stuck with Pocchetino. I feel he's one of the best around when thinking long-term.
Zidane has a lot of experience in winning the CL though - perhaps that's what PSG is aiming for now.

Even though PSG have decided to part ways with Mauricio Pochettino, they must thank him because he has shown us what it takes for PSG to win the European competition (UCL).

To be honest, we never know what happened internally to PSG between the club's management and Mauricio Pochettino, so we can say that the former Tottenham Hotspur coach is not a suitable coach for PSG.

Haaland is the best for Manchester City, but we should also see how it will play in a difficult league like Premier, he has only played in norway, austria and Germany at the moment. If stats will be the same, Man City will

surely compete to win the next Champions League, because their team will be absolutely strong  Shocked

Small rumors or big?
If Ronaldo will choose to leave Manchester then Roma will be interested in him.
Not sure if it is a big or small rumor.  Grin
I already heard this rumor many times, Roma wants to sign Ronaldo if he decides to leave Man United for the next season. But I think Ronaldo doesn't want to go back to Italy (Serie A). He may think to go to another league, maybe Ligue 1 (PSG). Or if he still has a goal in Man United, he may stay in Man United for 1-2 seasons. But to go to Italy (Roma), I doubt it.

I agree. This rumor looks like an April Fool's joke. I could believe in some variant involving a team playing in the Champions League but going to Roma which will play in the Europa League just like United does not make any sense. Eric Ten Hag confirmed that he is interested in Ronaldo, so problems with the coach are excluded.

Liverpool do not lose two players at the same time. They make an effort to keep at least one of them in the team. Mane has made up his mind to leave the team. He is not at Liverpool mentally. It won't be easy to keep him in the team any longer. Liverpool should take precautions to avoid the same things happening to Salah. Otherwise, Liverpool's offensive line will be very weak.
