The economy is one of the most important factors for Barcelona right now. Therefore, some decisions should not be questioned. We will see that good players can be compromised while making profitable sales for the club. De Jong is one of these players. I wish he had continued to be in the squad, but he is a player who can contribute to Barcelona economically.  I hope they can fill his place.
I am not questioning De Jong transfer, but if they sell a young talented player and get a "better" striker for the same price who is 34-35 years old then it's going to be a bad transfer for sure. They need young and attacking and fast players in order to go for it.

I understand getting him for free, because that would work since they are not paying anything for him. They need to talk with Barcelona legends who will be willing to get less money as well, imagine the situation like how there are players getting 10+ million and have been around for a long time which could be waived or just ask to get like 5 million, that would get at least 2 great players salaries as well.

this is something very complicated for Bayern Munich. they are not ready to let go of their talented player, but players are already looking for new experiences, and Bayern Munich are yet to find a commensurate replacement for Lewandowski.
On Barcelona's side this is a good opportunity, those who can get this player at the lowest possible price considering Barcelona's finances are not yet good. Xavi wants Lewandowski to guide Barcelona's easy players. With the presence of Lewandowski in the Barcelona squad, I am sure that next season Barcelona will definitely be a tough competition for Real Madrid.
Robert Lewandowski is still a mainstay at both Bayern and the Poland national team even though he is 33 years old. and now the rumors are that he doesn't want to renew his contract with Bayern and is rumored to be joining the Barcelona team. it will be a huge loss for Bayern as they do not yet have a commensurate replacement for Lewandowski. and of course this will be a big advantage for the Barcelona team.
I hope Bayern can make a lot of efforts to contain Lewandowski or immediately find a suitable replacement to fill the void left in the front line.

Robert Lewandowski is set to leave Bayern Munich this summer, with reports claiming that the superstar striker has agreed a three-year deal to join Barcelona.

His current contract with the Bundesliga champions runs until 2023, but he has made it clear that he has no plans to pen an extension and wants to walk away.
Sources in Germany, according to The Times, have said that Lewandowski's representatives have reached a verbal agreement for him to move to the Nou Camp.Playing in Spain is said to 'appeal' to the veteran, and Barcelona, in their hunt for a new elite frontman this summer, are understood to have made him a prime target.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10816325/Robert-Lewandowski-agrees-three-year-deal-Barcelona-Bayern-Munich-exit-looms.html

Now this is turning out to be too speculative to believe, Lewandowski going to Barca this ain't happening  Tongue after all those missed opportunities of the Ballon Dor at the hands of ex barca player,no no no this ain't happening!
Lewandowski moving out of Bayern was speculated and rumoured months ago and I think that this should happen at some point. Bayern needs to get another good striker whether this year or the year after, so better to do it as soon as possible.. For Lewandowski, he is old and fit enough to play a year or two in another league and try to show if he is able to continue shining and why not get the Ballon d'Or.
Bayern Munich will miss Lewandowski greatly, I think they will be concerned about his prospective replacement. Lewandowski leaving the club is well known, the fact that he didn't get to win the last Ballon D'or has great influence in him taking this decision. He sure knows if he could score 50+ goals in the La Liga with a big team like Barcelona he'd be considered for that individual award.

Lewandovski really is a great player, but I can't shake the feeling that Barcelona is making a mistake here. If they do sign him (and apparently he's pushing to go) there is no doubt that he will drastically improve their team. Still - they have a core of great young players and should be thinking a bit more long-term.

Lewa will be 34 at the beginning of next season, he'd cost 40 million Euros and will demand the highest wages. Barcelona just had to rebuild after a financial crisis, they did it with great young players and will throw away huge money again after making that Auba deal last season.

They should go for players like Raphinha and bring players with resell value. But if they do sign Lewa - maybe they feel they can challenge Real for the title again.

Robert Lewandowski has told the club management that he will not renew his contract with Bayern Munich. Lewandowski's contract expires in 2023. Bayern Munich does not want to leave Lewandowski free. Munich can evaluate the offers coming to Lewandowski. Lewandowski's name has been associated with Barcelona for several months. But for now there is no agreement between the clubs. Barca on the other hand may want to add the experienced player to their squad.

Bayern Munich's situation is quite complicated, as they were quite confident in this contract renewal, but now they have to choose between selling their best striker this summer without even having a good replacement or letting him go for free at the end. of the season.
Of course they chose to sell the player, but charging 35 to 40 million euros is an exaggeration, don't you think?
Which club would be willing to buy him for that amount?

I think Barcelona should just forget about these signing Leowandowski, he’s a great player but he has passed their peak. Barcelona should focus on building with younger players if they are to catch up with Real Madrid anytime soon.
I agree with you, why does Barcelona need to sign an old striker like Lewandowski? They already have an old striker, Aubameyang, it is enough for Barcelona. Aubameyang already adapted well and looks suitable for Barcelona game style, there is no need for another CF (center forward). Signing Lewandowski even makes a problem for the competition as the main player in the CF position. Even worse, Aubameyang may think to leave Barcelona if they probably to be the substitution player then.

Well, focusing on the current players with many young and talented players, are better. Barcelona just needs time to play more solidly. Xavi shouldn't too greedy for signing more top players again and again. It also may bring a bad impact on Barcelona finances.

The meeting for Pogba with Juventus will be Monday.

Feels like should be much more comfortable at Juventus given how he played there so won't take time adjusting in and also Juventus doesn't have dense squad like PSG has so he will find good amount of playing minutes which is essential to finding his form back again. PSG is also a good option given its a French club but still Pogba has switched to so many leagues and adjusted well out there so going back to Italy should come after getting into real picture or playing minutes.
I thought Real Madrid will try to hunt him but apparently getting Mbappe is their primary objective. PSG as you said contains a lot of players and Ligue 1 isn't that attractive comparing to the others. Juve is a good choice if confirmed but no offence coinlocket, I think joining Real Madrid for 2-3 seasons would be better for him. Well in case he signed Juve then the club will gets a nice boost and congrats for them Smiley

There are some rumors and speculations, but Haaland is already set to move to City. Whether he can show the desired striker quality? I fear that Haaland will go down at City and it was a mistake to get him.

And somehow I can't understand how Barcelona want to get Lewandowski, they should better focus on reducing the debt instead of buying or getting expensive players  Roll Eyes
Mm I don't think that Haaland will go down in EPL but we might see his real abilities since Bundesliga isn't that challenging comparing to EPL. For Barcelona, getting Lewandowski will be a nice move to have more options in attack especially in case of injuries and they have enough.

For the Gabriel Jesus transfer, Arsenal really seem to be the closest candidate team to sign him. I wonder whether they will sign only one striker this summer. Because they have been after Paulo Dybala for some time too and maybe they will go for both of them. But I think that their priority should be to strengthen another position after signing one striker. Arsenal are technically the closest team to the Champions League as they are still ahead of Tottenham. They should build a solid squad if they go there.

Arsenal is indeed the strongest candidate to get Gabriel Jesus, Moreover, Man City has decided not to extend Gabriel Jesus contract after getting
Erling Haaland. So it's just a matter of negotiating the transfer fee, which has not yet found an agreement between Arsenal and Man City.
Meanwhile, according to rumors Gabriel Jesus has agreed a contract verbally with Arsenal, So it looks like Gabriel Jesus arrival to Arsenal is only
a matter of time. Arsenal also seems not satisfied with only bringing in one striker, Moreover, knowing the future of Nketiah and Lacazette is
still unclear. So it is right if Arsenal want to bring in more than one striker. The next candidate is Paulo Dybala whose contract will expire at the end of
this season, but Arsenal will not be easy to get Dybala, because Arsenal have to compete with Inter and Man United to get Dybala.

But a new league , a new club like PSG might be more challenging for him.

playing in a team that no competition at his position are not good though , pogba at juventus might seems the right one , bbut in my opinion he should looking for something new like psg or even manchester city who have an ambbitious mission to bring champions league trophy to etihad. pogbba should accept that challenge especially with a skyhigh wage, he won't resist.

If truly Barcelona wanted to sign Lewandoski then it's absolutely unnecessary at this point in time when they are rebuilding, I also agreed that their defence needed some new signings they have some old defenders that needed replacement, Pique, Umititi and Davi Alves had reached their prime or peak thus should be replaced, while their midfield and forward is okay Abumeyang, Torres, Traore, Depay e.t.c has experience on their side, Xavi should channel his efforts toward building a formidable Barcelona that will challenge Real Madrid for Laliga and European competitions.

Lewandowski is an old player already, I do not think it will be wise for Barcelona to buy him but to get him for free is good enough. It will be better if Barcelona try to find younger striker who can play for longer time than Lewandowski. We have no doubt about how great Lewandowski is, but age does a matter in soccer or in any sport. I'm not following Barcelona much so I dont really understand what is needed to be improved in their squad but I believe Xavi know how to rebuild his team effectively.

I know that it would take at least three years for them to be competitive as they once were with Lionel Messi, Iniesta and Xavi.

Lewandowski can be a huge help to the team. What difference does it make when to take a new player? I think it is very important for them to get back on the high side next season, not to coach rookies to be second in the Spanish league for another season. The newcomers will be ready for action in a couple of seasons, they are better to develop in the teams they play in now and then buy them.

Still on Gabriel Jesus transfer to Arsenal, reports says that Gabriel Jesus have agreed personal terms with Arsenal, with a proposal of a five year deal from Arsenal on the table. It is aso reported that Mancity are demanding atleast 50 million to 60 million pounds for the Brazilian, but Arsenal have initially submitted 40 million. It is yet to be seen whether Mancity will accept it or not,but I guess it will be dependant on Arsenal qualifying for champions league or not.

I have to say, that the price range of 40 to 50 Million pounds seems surprisingly appropriate and reasonable to me. Especially for transfers between two clubs of the English premier League. I mean i am used to clubs paying 50 or 60 Million for absolutely average players that are actually not worth more than 20 Million because the Premier League clubs just have the money to pay that because of their extremely high income from the TV stations. For example Grealish is never worth 100 Million pounds but ManCity paid it anyway. Gabriel Jesus showed some very good performances in the last few game and also in the Champions League and i think that around 50 Million pounds would be a fair price for him for the standards of today.
40 - 50 million pounds seems to be the bench price for pretty good players in the league but I have heard people saying £42million is a lot for a player in the final year of his contract. However, I think players like Gabriel Jesus are worth more than £50 million to be honest.

^^ It's funny how his career has been swinging at United and Juventus so far. Kinda feels similar to career of Lukaku till now. Well anyway wherever he goes , I hope he finds his form again and try to play best football in whatever left is of his career. Also I think I have hear rumours about PSG also interested in Pogba. What do you think? @coinlocket$

Its true.
Both of them are on the player.

Next week there will be a meeting between Pogba and Juventus.

There we will know if he will be back in Italy or he will go in France.

Pogba is still a great footballer, I'm sure there are many football clubs that would still like to add him to their roster as a player. Zidane always wanted Pogba, but that fell through at the last minute. That already shows how good he is. He is currently not playing at United. Well, it's a shame, at Ten Hag he would be able to render optimally at Ten Hag if Frenkie de Jong would play next to him. Pogba has always been incredibly talented.
