Just because he played amazingly so far in the clubs that he played in doesn't mean that he will be able to do that at the top club of the world by price. I mean City is worth 1 billion dollars already, it would be quite hard to get someone like Haaland and put him there and say that he will fit perfectly, it is unknown.

He is also known to miss some games as well, he needs to learn to protect himself, he throws himself at the opponents for a chance to score which helps him have high per game goal averages but his appearance numbers are lower. In any case, it is a wonderful transfer and it will certainly be beneficial one way or another, can't hurt.

But after entering the Premier League he will find tight competition We know that at least every team has a mainstay player who is equivalent to haaland
Soon we will see whether the transfer value is equivalent to his ability in the Premier League which is full of rivals.
What competition?  Roll Eyes
Apart from Salah, who else do you think is as lethal in front of goal as Halaand?

Harry Kane? 37-year-old Ronaldo? Saka? Wilfred Zaha?

I believe Halaand will thrive in the Premier League. All city has to do is supply him with balls from their talented midfield, not over bench him and make sure Halaand does not get so many injuries.

I still can't believe that Manchester City acted very quickly and signed Erling Haaland. And it is said that they signed him for only 60 million euros (not even as it was said like 75 million euros or so). And his yearly salary is also very cheap for Manchester City. This can be the best deal Manchester City would have got for him so I guess they are very happy now. This is a huge transfer and I hope this can bring them a Champions League title later too.

I hope this never happens  Cheesy
It will be much more fun to watch how, after each elimination from the Champions League, Pep will run for another billion and eventually turn City into Galacticos  Grin He couldn't win the Champions League with the great Bayern and hopefully won't be able to do it with City. It's not that I don't like him very much, but from the outside he looks like a cherry picker (I don't know how to say it in English properly) and I'm glad that he has big problems with picking the most important cherries.

If Erik ten Hag is to survive in Manchester United, 80 percent of the current players need to be overhauled. Manchester United need a long term to rejuvenate the team. Erik is going to need more than three years. I'm afraid the management will not want to give Erik that much time they will want instant result in a year or two.

After the arrival of Erling Halaand to Manchester city, there was bad news for Gabriel Jesus, he was increasingly disturbed and threatened to be replaced as a substitute because the main thing was of course Haaland who was brought in.
Rumor has it that there are 6 clubs interested in Gabriel Jesus but the newsstands out that Arsenal are ready to sign him even though Gabriel Jesus still has one more season to go with Mancity, will this make him leave sooner?
Many teams are currently trying to sign gabriel jesus after his uncertain future with manchester city at the moment, but of the many clubs that want him so far, arsenal is the club that is most serious about buying him, I think gabriel jesus needs to prove if himself a good striker and arsenal could be one of the clubs that might be able to help him, moreover it is reported that arsenal will lose lacazette next season and this can provide an opportunity for gabriel jesus to become arsenal main striker.

Some player need time adopt with other league competition because have different games play with previous league, I think have different culture and games play between Bundesliga and Primer League actually we can see how effective Erling Haaland debut for Manchester City next season. Almost have bigger expectation with Erling Haaland become most productive scoring goals for Manchester City and become new top scorer with last several season dominance by Kane and Salah.
Adaptation is still one of the scourges that is quite scary for some players. how many cases of players failing to shine after being bought when they looked good in the previous league.
but in this case I still feel Haaland can adapt well now.
Judging from his previous performance and the strength he has actually he still can especially he is still quite young and there is still a lot of time to develop his career now

Based on the transfermarkt the transfer value is 54 million not 70 million, Haaland was the 2nd best player in the Bundesliga after Lewandowski
But after entering the Premier League he will find tight competition We know that at least every team has a mainstay player who is equivalent to haaland
Soon we will see whether the transfer value is equivalent to his ability in the Premier League which is full of rivals.

Sometime players are unable to show their best in new team and league, hopefully he can adapt with the new team and new league well. He is great in Bundesliga but it is not a guarantee that he will be the same in Premier League. City's fans should not hope too much in his first season, they should give him longer time to prove that he is a worth investment. However, a direct great performance in 1st season will be a bonus for City and fans.

I'm happy to see that Manchester City have signed one of the most promising strikers now. Erling Haaland can bring a huge strength to the team after he joins them this summer. I think that they needed this kind of a striker for a long time. Gabriel Jesus is a decent striker but he isn't good enough to be a regular Manchester City striker in the starting eleven. Thanks to Haaland, they're going to be more deadly in terms of scoring.

Last year City were so much trying to get Harry Kane and more than double the amount of the release clause they are paying right now to Dortmund and one year after they are signing a world class striker with lot of potential.  Glad to see some challenges coming in premier league.
But now the ending for City is very good and different from last year, Haaland is in their hands now and maybe at the moment they will not add many new players but it is possible that they will also look for a midfielder this time considering there are some rumors about Gabriel Jesus that continue to be around. If Arsenal loses, City must be prepared to look for a potential replacement

With this signing that City made, they became stronger than they already are, City's attack was already something fearsome, they score a lot of goals in every game and now with this signing. they will start to score more goals, I think City are aiming again at the champions league, they have had so many bad luck in the champions league that I sincerely hope that next season they can win the champions league. they play well. Now as a fan of liverpool I'm scared of them next season, I hope that liverpool also gets some player to improve in the defense, lately the liverpool defense has given me chills in many games, they make mistakes that make me afraid
of course they will definitely aim for the Champions League as their main target. on the other hand if you say you are Liverpool of course you have to start preparing yourself from now on especially in this season there is some news about their star players like Mane and Salah being targeted by several clubs.
even though this is still hearsay but on the other hand Liverpool must also fortify these players from now on

Well, at least his new club will surely want him to add up quickly because they did play €51 million for him. I think that money is well worth and very well spent in my opinion. I actually agree that Manchester City fans should not go too much from him in the first season but I know that the fans are going to expect a lot.
If he gets around him good players that will fit his playing style he will be get into the playing fast in Manchester City.
There also will be a big and more pressure to him as in Dortmund and the next thing is what will be happen if gets again injured.
And to be honest we all expect a lot from Haaland now in Manchester or ?
With a high price and high salary, of course it will make haalaand quite burdened with carrying a big responsibility on his shoulders next season, I think it's difficult to say if Haalaand will be able to show his best performance at Manchester City as he is still at Dortmund, because in my opinion the competition in the league England is very tight compared to the Bundesliga, so far Haalaand has been able to show their best performance because they only face relatively weaker teams in bundesliga, while Premier League clubs are mostly strong teams who also have almost equal squad quality.

@Lafu, Yes, that is one thing that he will surely need for him to start early in Manchester city.
And I really think that Manchester city has that kind of player who will be able to act as the enabler for Erling Haaland.
Honestly, I think people will expect a lot of things from him but the expectation is not going to be as much as people expected from a €100 million transfer Smiley. So, I think he can chill a little.

New rumors are linking Frenkie De Jong with a move to United.

I have to say I really did not see this coming, he did not have a great time at Barcelona but is overall a fantastic player and should play at the highest level possible.
Accepting a transfer to United is a really bizarre move but I guess he wants to be reunited with Ten Hag who knows how to use him best.

Barcelona wants the deal because they need the money and the sources that are reporting it are generally speaking quite accurate.
Frankie De Jong still has two years left on his Barcelona contract, and it is funny that their financial problems is the reason while they want to sell him this summer. One thing is that before you sell any good player, make sure you have potential good players in mind to buy. Which good midfielder(s) do Barcelona have in mind to replace De Jong should he leave to Manchester United? If true, then we now know Barcelona's problem is not the only one we see on the pitch. Who let go talent like De Jong in the name of financial crisis or good business? Honestly the club will regret letting go this midfield gem.

City on the other hand is a team that plays with style and aesthetic, so they like to pass around and show talent, kind of like pep's Barcelona 10+ years ago. This combination doesn't seem like it's ideal, I would rather see a striker that is a bit more quick with the feet type, like suarez but younger version for example.

That also exactly why City decided to sign him. City passes are pretty accurate most of the time so they need that extra player upfront that would be able to get the pass then scored it so Haaland is one of the best players up for the task. Pretty much like prime RvP, if the other players can put up a pass to him then he will definitely score the goal

I do not see Haaland being as great as people imagine for City. Not because he will play bad or anything like that, but they are a team that plays with flair and they like passing. Haaland is like a tank, he is a younger and to be fair more successful version of Lukaku for example, he plays with power and speed and ruthless ambition.

In this context why should we judge him from now on even before he starts training or plays for City, why do we have to judge him as not good for City at the moment.
His performances have been outstanding at previous clubs be it Salzburg or Dortmund and no one can argue about that.
As for his performance later, of course it can only be seen next season and about whether or not it can be judged from Haaland's performance after starting the match in EPL.
I agreed with you that Erling Haaland performed excellently well in his previous clubs, however I believe EPL is a different league and as well as very competitive league with some of the best defenders in the world, no doubt Haaland is a very good striker and definitely he will face a stiff challenges in his first season in Man City, I won't expect much from him next season, I expect him to begin to shine in the subsequent season after settling down in the league, Gourdiola will also guide him and integrate him into the squad such after clicks he would be unstoppable by banging goals week in week out.

I believe Erling Haaland is a great player and he obviously does not have to prove that to anyone right now but the competition that he is getting involved in is a lot harder than it was in the Bundesliga. I just hope that he recognizes that very early and he can play accordingly. I also hope that he will be able to stay out of any injuries because he had a few injuries in the last season if I remember correctly and in the English Premier League he will have to work a lot harder. So, injury might be an issue.

Yes, this is of course a very extraordinary deal for Manchester City and the possibility of Earling Haland he will quickly be able to adapt to the Manchester City team because he knows how the City team plays, if Earling Haland's presence can bring the Manchester City team to win the Champions League in the coming season it will be a new history in the world of football because so far the City team has never won the Champions League, hopefully the arrival of Earling Haland will not disappoint City fans and I am sure he can give the best for the Manchester City team.
Halaand will not disappoint too much as he has impressive stats as a striker. Maybe he needs time to adapt, but as a fan there is no doubt about his ability in front of goal. I'm sure Guardiola can make it better and he will be successful at Manchester City next season. Of course I'm very curious to see him in the Manchester City kit next season and really want to know which team he will concede for the first time with a Manchester City kit.

I think you are mixing it up. Yes city play with flair and passes into the 18 yard box; but how many of those beautiful plays result into a goal ? at an average, just 8%
What Manchester City Lacked was a poacher upfront, and Haaland fit that description perfectly. With Haaland as a poacher; Pep under city have a greater advantage when playing big games because poachers win you the big trophies all the type.

Also, Haaland has a brilliant hold play, and a great use of the ball inside the 18 yard box. Beware of Manchester city team this coming season
