transfermarkt.co.uk has once put together a team where you can only see players who are currently without a contract this summer and could change clubs without transfer fees Smiley

An interesting picture, however, it does not work for top players. There is a lot of competition among the clubs, so they are forced to pay a bonus for signing a contract directly to the player and it is not much different in size from the compensation that is paid to the club from which the player is bought.

I don't agree that Ronaldo don't belong in the EPL,  he is one of the best players and contending for highest goal scorer this season too. Ronaldo is made for the premier league, he's been making double figure goals even younger strikers in the league can't make. Not to mention that he is 37 and still thriving in the so-called most difficult and fast paced league.
Ronaldo has scored 18 goals so far for Manchester United and he is only the third player to top the Premier League's top scorer rankings this season after Salah and Son in first and second. I think he is still worthy enough to stay in the Premier League next season because I don't see him as an old player who has suffered a significant decline in form.

Regardless of whether Manchester United want to keep him or not, then I think Ronaldo is still capable of playing for the best league at the moment like the Premier League. Maybe he is interested in a move if the Champions League is his target next season, but will that happen to him at the end of the season?

Yeah, Ornstein from the Athletic has all but confirmed it as well. If something totally unexpected does not happen in the next few days, Haaland will be a City player next season.

To bring a young player of such quality to an already world class team is a great move - especially since they have been missing a true striker since Aguero left. They will be even a bigger threat and a better team next season.

I can only hope Liverpool can respond to this with a few good transfers of their own. This City team looks almost unbeatable.

I wonder what if Liverpool actually decides to bring in Cristiano Ronaldo?

That would be a great thing to witness in my opinion.
I actually cannot decide whether it will be bad or good, to be honest.

Anyway, this transfer made by Manchester City is surely going to be a great one for both the player and the team because this player surely has a lot of potential, and live playing with Manchester City he will surely gain confidence and also hone his skills better.

For some reason I don't think Ronaldo belongs in the English Premier League. Not because I don't want him there, but simply because he doesn't fit in. He is more suited to the pace of Spanish football, well, maybe Italian (although when he played at Juventus I didn't like him), because English football is too fast, and Liverpool have good players in attack, do they need such competition in the team?

It was already obvious that Haaland would leave Dortmund, but I expected him to go to Real Madrid. The Premier League remains the center of attention for all players. La Liga management was as upset as Real Madrid about Haaland's transfer. While Pep Guardiola has this champions league curse, they will be defeated by 35 Modric and Benzema again next year.
Halland will find a new challenge in the English league, although he is a great player, I personally think he will not be easy to adapt to the team, even though he is the player with the highest salary, but he will not be the best player in the English league next season, because the English league has many great players even in almost every club there are the best players, even though Manchester city managed to bring in halland, but I'm still optimistic that Manchester city will definitely not be able to lift the Champions League trophy.

I think Haaland will adapt very quickly. I know the expectation is high, but Haaland can handle it. City is already a very good club, now it's even stronger. And as you said, they will become the champions league favorites next year. Haaland's speed and strength will be a huge advantage for City, which is already a vibrant team.

Halaand to Manchester city is a great move for him and Great signing for City! He would add physicality and dynamism to their attack. His fitness is a bit worrying though, that's where the issue is. Halaand will perform very well with city That's the kind of strikers City need. They don't need to go for Ronaldo. They are building and planning for the future. Their scouts are also doing well.
Is Erling Haaland really a right fit for Manchester City? I think he is a high class player and has proven to be a prolific striker too but the truth is he relies on pace and power. Running in behind is his thing.  I think Manchester City need technical player who can work in tight spaces. Players of this type usually struggle under Pep Guardiola, we have Ibrahimovic as a classic example. I really hope Haaland case will be different.

as reported by borussia dortmund, the german sports magazine kicker and transfermarkt.co.uk, the transfer of Erling Haaland to premier club manchester city has been completed.
according to the report, he will start scoring goals for the english club next season Grin
the club benefits from an exit clause in the dortmund striker's contract, according to which he will leave bvb for €75 million

Long overdue honestly. Sergio Kun Aguero's position has been crying for a replacement. Good signing for city. I hope pep should be wise and sign a proper left back and centre back plus a solid defensive midfielder to replace outgoing fernandinho... Rodri and Cancelo is the engine room... If he does these following probably it can be certain that city MIGHT win UCL next season. So Halland isn’t as expensive as Grealish. Aston Villa & English media scammed Man City Same way Leicester City & English media scammed Man Utd.

So now it's all been answered where Halaand is actually anchored next season. I think a lot of people think that Halaand will be at Real Madrid next season based on the poll results, but it turns out that Manchester City will be his new home next season.

So Manchester City's next season is really very scary especially after they got one of those savage strikers like Halaand. I don't think he will have any trouble adapting to Guardiola's style and strategy, so maybe Halaand will bode well for Manchester City to support his ambition of winning the Champions League.

It’s rumored that Arsenal are closing in on the £40million signing of Leicester's Youri Tielemans. He has has emerged as a prime summer target to bolster Arsenal midfield options for next season’s campaign. His contract with Leicester city expires next year, and he has rejected offers of an extension. Honestly as an Arsenal fan, He is great when it comes to controlling the tempo of the game and contributes immensely to his side's build-up play. He’s an upgrade on Granit Xhaka and Mohamed Elneny in the midfield  He can often put in effective defensive shifts as well. I think it’s a good addition for the Gunners.
Youri Tielemans is a brilliant passer of the ball, his style is commendable, covering a high amount of distance in games. I think he is a clever footballer and this why Arsenal is keen on signing him. Arsenal will be playing in the UEFA Champion's League next season so he would be quality depth the team needs moving forward.

and immediately in return, borussia dortmund has now presented/contracted a successor for E. Halland.
according to the german striker Karim Adeyemi moves from red bull salzburg for £33 million to dortmund
Haaland also moved from salzburg to dortmund at that time ... i'm curious to see how the young striker will perform at bvb Wink

Haaland transfer to Man City is near to completed that they are willing to pay release clause approximately 75 million pounds and Man City giving 5 years contract with weekly salary 500.000 pounds for him and finally Man City can solved the missing pieces of their squad that all this time they lack of sharp forward players and with Halland arrived they can solved that issue
Manchester City are always ready to spend any amount every transfer window. They seem to upgrade their team every year, the acquisition of Julián Álvarez and Erling Haaland in the same transfer window is already a big statement to other clubs. Manchester City are gearing up to compete for major trophies next season. I will love to see Pep Guardiola use these two incredible talent in attack.

Fantastic price. I didn't hear many rumours he was going to Man City. I think he is going to Barca or Madrid because a lot of media are making news like that.
This transfer will make Man City stronger next season. But with a record Haland was able to adapt to the style of play of the Premier League. I think his statistic makes him very expensive, but if he can't prove himself in the EPL maybe he will only be on the bench and Man City will certainly lose a lot. But at a young age I think Halaand is able to adapt well.

Finally episode after episode and the club elbowed each other in the end to Manchester City too Cheesy
Actually I'm not too surprised by this because the news of him has become clearer than the previous few weeks but indeed in this case there is a bit of a bargain in my opinion for Dortmund but indeed this is quite a tough thing considering City will give Haaland a fairly large salary later.
I hope he can grow in the EPL

Haaland in Barcelona could happen only if Haaland takes a huge pay cut to whatever he could be paid in City, I mean 500k per week is not a small amount, I do not know how they do it, like is it 52 weeks, or is it just playing weeks, but in the end, it’s going to be plenty of money, 20 million at the very least, probably a lot more than that with incentives as well.

He does deserve that to be fair to him, but he never played in a major team before and that is why he is getting this money, after 3-4 years of playing in Barcelona or city, he could get offers as high as Mbappe does. For the time being, he should get the biggest payer and just be there.

the failure to reach an agreement between Haaland and Barcelona is of course related to the salary issue where Barcelona cannot pay as Erling Haaland wants.especially now Barcelona has cut the salaries of its players, 500 thousand pounds that must be paid Manchester city is not a small amount but Manchester city is able to accept request because currently Guardiola really needs a goal-hungry striker like Erling Haaland which has been proven at Borussia Dortmund where Haaland has scored 80 goals from 88 matches he has played with Borussia Dortmund in all competitions so that Pempek Guardiola is very interested in players aged 21 years

Pretty good performance from Haalaand and  with a large number of goals with Dortmund is indeed worthy of making Haalaand quite expensive, Haaland decision to move to Manchester is the right decision, because moving to Manchester City will certainly make him continue to develop because manchester is  a big club and that may indeed be able to promise a trophy for haalaand later.
