I also can hardly imagine that Real Madrid would really try to sign Cristiano Ronaldo again. I mean they have already made clear that they are not so emotional when it comes to signing or keeping players that have already crossed the zenith. That is also the reason why they did not prolong the contract of Ronaldo back in 2018 when he was "only" 33 years old. Now he is 37 and it would make absolutely no sense if they would sign him now. He will still demand a pretty high salary and Real still has debts of more than 900 M € so they need to save money. If Mbappe is really joining Real then they won't have money left for any more signings or expensive salaries.

Hey may able to play for another 2-3 seasons but he wont be able to play full time. Age does a matter and he may not be able to adapt with younger players and new strategy effectively. I dont understand why Real Madrid wants him to come back or why Ronaldo want to come back to Madrid.

I do not think Real Madrid wants Ronaldo back, with a summer poised for Madrid to get Mbappe to their forward line; Ronaldo will proof to be a mere distraction. Real Madrid attention is towards a replacement for Kroos and Modric and Casemiro; while also getting a left back back up for Mendy as Marcelo leaves this summer.

He is 27 years old and having around 75 poundsterling as a price tag for me personally aren't worth it.You could get more potential player like the 24 years old nkunku .. he has a long time to serve and improve aswell.
But for the manchester united squad .. i think its fits well , just like maguire transfer abd the effect to the club.
