Most of these players now sit on bench so buying them on the first hand was pointless.They need to sell them to other clubs and get something out from their sale but that wouldn't pull them out of financial crisis but still would improve the financial condition at least. There are other reasons but again I would say bad management is the main reason that put them into this condition.

Right now, I like what they are doing as Xavi is giving chances to young players and the club are also securing them for the future by handing them long contracts with big release clause.

Looking at Manchester city recent squad, I think they are ok with their recent squad, the team is doing well, they have alot of quality players. But bringing in Erling haaland as Jesus Gabriel replacement, will make the team more stronger. Though we all knows Jesus Gabriel has good qualities, but not as good as haaland, haaland is far more dangerous than him. Taking a look at Manchester city recent performance, they have been outstanding throughout the start of the season, so bringing in a quality attacker like Erling haaland will help strengthen the team, and it will make them more stronger to play against.

Yep, it has been a long time since the first time we heard a rumor that Mbappe wants to move to Real Madrid.
