Manchester United are set to lose Edinson Cavani this summer. So far this season, he has appeared in just 12 Premier League matches. It seems that Old Trafford is an unsuitable place for career development either players or coaches. At first, things were fine, until injuries struck, coupled with Ronaldo's arrival. He was definitely hampered by the injury he had as well as the return of Ronaldo. However, players like Cavani are set to depart. Others, such as Harry Maguire, are staying. Doesn't seem strange, does it?

Cavani is an old player, especially for the premier League.

He can play in a slower League like Serie A or go to MSL with Insigne...
the team need a overhaul and I think it is the strong verdict Teg presented to the management this weekend. I already forgot cavani is still in that team, so are many other players that are too old for top competing teams. Nothing is wrong with Harry Maguire in my own opinion but the high purchase defender tag as English player will put pressure on him for a long time.

Harry Maguire has gone through a transformation. Wasn't too good a while ago. Made a lot of personal mistakes. Seems to have matured a bit now. I just don't think many clubs want him because there are certainly many other players better at his position. Manchester City has a huge number of players, also on the bench, I often wonder if those players don't just want to be a basic player somewhere so that they can play football every week.

MSL is not bad for him in my opinion. he is now too old to compete in the EPL which is always high Tension and indeed it would be better if he looked for a new club that suits his current age.
This season he has not played too much at United and I think he should be prepared to move clubs to lower tensions.
Now that MSL is in high demand in football, there's no harm in trying there

Cavani is an older player now, but I think he is still international? I think he can still compete at the highest level, but it will all become more difficult in the long run. And if he goes for the big money, he might also consider another adventure in Asia. That wouldn't surprise me. Just like Iniest did when he went to Japan. It has to suit you as a player, of course. Too bad he doesn't get to play much at the moment.
His age is indeed quite old but he can still become a Professional player now but his Intensity might decrease a bit. His current age is 35 years which if described is even young compared to Ronaldo and even Ramos who is at PSG. I think he is still very competitive but indeed this age is not very suitable for a league that is even very hot in the EPL.

Well maybe this will be a consideration but regardless of all that of course it's back again to Cavani how he will continue the adventure in next season

we will see Newcastle united breakthrough in the next summer transfer window will the magpies be able to land star players to St James Park stadium, even though they do not play in European competition next season but if Newcastle offer a lucrative salary then it is not impossible that once-star players will land at St James Park this summer, like the breakthrough made in the January transfer where they succeeded in bringing in players who have qualified qualities so that they can get out of the relegation abyss this season.

Yes, I'm sure they will be able to get some top tier players (who may have already passed their peak and are now only busy making money) but I mean it will definitely not be Mbappe's or Haaland's level players. It would be cool if Newcals bought Neymar, then the label of the football player who chose the money would definitely be attached to him forever  Grin
Newcastle financial problems were manageable, they just needed to make an offer that was tempting enough for the upper-class players. Offering a high price with commensurate quality may be very easy for Newcastle. They are very ready to welcome any player if the offer is reasonable and can exceed the price quoted. Moreover, at this time Newcastle can be freer to improve next season by taking advantage of a wide-open transfer.

Cavani going to Newcastle would be understandable. Dude is getting older, he still has a few years left to play, he would be a great veteran leadership, he could play or just be a sub that goes in later on, he still runs and doesn't give up. Basically it is the type of player Newcastle needs right now and can afford to.

I don't know if Cavani would want them, but I know that Newcastle should want him. United and even PSG is just beyond his talents at this point (his old team if I am not wrong). He should be focusing on getting better deals at this stage of his career and not focus on getting to a great team or even a great league to be fair.

Most player's that play for Manchester United and have a good feeling with the fans wouldn't want to make this switch.
Yes he is playing for the money and another badge bit I do not see Cavani another season once more in the premier league.
Speculations saying he wants a move to he's home town at Uruguay.

This is true for next summer when there will be a lot of transfers and transfer deals. Top players will not go to Newcastle due to the fact that it will not play in European competition and because of the uncertainty of its future. But if during the next season Newcastle solves this problem - at least wins a ticket to the Europa League, then, given its potentially huge financial capabilities, it will be able to buy the best players.

No one knows, Newcastle may turn into a big team in the next several hours because of the huge funds they have now. Many players (including top star players) might be interested to join if they see there is a big opportunity for the team become a competitive team in EPL and in Europe competitions.
Newcastle cannot suddenly be a big team, it needs a process. It should take some years to be a big team, and there is no guarantee that Newcastle to be a big team. If you expect Newcastle to be competitive in Europe competition, this team should finish in the top six (6). Just look at the current position of Newcastle, they are in 15th place. They must be not in any Europe competition in the next season. With this fact, I really doubt Haaland or Mbappe wants to move there.

yes, there is still a process for that but if you look at the experience that has happened it could be like City bought in 2008 Sheikh Mansour and PSG bought by Nasser Al-Khelaifi I think now Newcastle are just waiting for that time if they are their new owners now want it then it can happen.
Now they are the richest club with the encouragement of the new owners and with their money anything would be possible now.
But indeed it's not Instant need at least some time for that

It does not really take forever to be a big team. Big team is money, and if money is there, everything will work faster than they used to be. Newcastle can be a big team next season since they are not relegated.
What they need to become a big team is to sign two good defenders, two good midfielders and two good attackers and a good coach.
These seven people are good and enough to drive Newcastle to the top 4 of the English Premier league. And any team in the top 4 if epl cannot easily be called a small team.

I agree...
Newcastle is blessed with having investors with a lot of money, so they could buy as many players as they want, but without the prospect of winning big titles, they will hardly attract good players.
I don't believe Newcastle can become a great team, but it won't be that fast.

There can be no question of players like Mbappe and Haaland moving to Newcastle. The most important problem of Newcastle at the moment is not so much the club's non-participation in the next Champions League or any European Cup in general, but the lack of specifics about the immediate future of the team, except that the club will spend a lot of money in the near future. In this regard, I would like to recall that Buffon did not leave Juventus at the time when the club was demoted and their Serie A was excluded due to well-known events, because the footballer believed in the club and knew that the club would still return to the leading positions. None of this can be said about Newcastle, because so far the contours of the new team are completely invisible and on the basis of which the club's game will be based in the near future.

It would be better for Manchester United to have a solid and dynamic striker next season. So it is a good choice to let Cavani go this summer. If they manage to sign a top striker, then things can start going on better for them in terms of scoring multiple goals in a game. But they need to solve the defense problem as well. I don't think that Maguire will be their first choice next season. They would look for a better defender who is much more credible than him.

Newcastle have an incredibly big transfer budget now indeed. But I'm not sure how many top players would like to come here and start over. Newcastle will need to sign so many players like that to create a very solid team. They wouldn't be too strong if they sign only a few players who are top ones. When it comes to Mbappe and Haaland, Newcastle would be able to pay much more money than their rivals for sure. But I've big doubts whether these players would be willing to join them. To me, I don't think that it would happen.
I really doubt that Newcastle United would have an incredibly transfer summer because hearing manager Eddie Howe says: "I don’t think it will be the revolution that everyone thinks it will be because we’re under financial restrictions" is just an indication that the board are not ready to spend cash. I believe the likes of Mbappe and Erling Haaland are beyond their reach for now.
What eddie shaw said is quite reasonable in my opinion, even though currently newcastle has a lot of money, but they still have to comply with financial fair rules which are the limits for european clubs in spending players, even though now newcastle has strong finances but the interest in players is also worth it we take into account, nowadays a lot of clubs have money but instead they have no attraction for some star players, because many players really see clubs playing in champions league as a stronger attraction than money, that's why i think newcastle probably won't get many star players next season because that the factor.

Newcastle have to learn what happened with Man United and PSG, both teams spent big money to be able to get some star players.
But unfortunately both Man United and PSG's performances were far from expected, there was no solid teamwork between the two teams.
-snip-

It's true what you say, some teams fail even though they have bought many star players, not only MU and PSG, Madrid, Chelsea have also experienced the same thing. Even though they've brought in star players, they haven't won a title. However, if the Newcastle board wants to run its business, of course adding more star players will increase the value of sponsorship contracts for the club, so maybe they will try to get star players quickly, in addition to boosting their position in the standings as well as to improve the club's value to sponsors for additional income for the clubs.

If only to attract new sponsors and make Newcastle's merchandise sales increase, then make Newcastle's position rise even higher. That's all
Newcastle can do if they manage to get a top player next season, but if Newcastle can get the trophy straight away I doubt it. Moreover, Newcastle
will find it difficult to convince a top player to want to move to Newcastle who are not playing in any European competition. Because star players
are not only attracted by big salaries, star players also prioritize moving to clubs that play in European competitions. Therefore Newcastle will find it
difficult to get top players at the end of this season. Mbappe can be an example that money is not everything, Mbappe refused the big contract
offered by PSG, and Mbappe prefers to move to another team that can win many trophies. So next season Newcastle must focus on being in the top 6,
in order to convince more star players to want to join Newcastle.
