True. It is like a fantasy, not sure what Barcelona management is doing. What for signing Lewandowski or Mbappe? I don't think they need new strikers, they already have many strikers right now. I suspect Barcelona only wants to get attention by doing this.  Cheesy

Barca management seems to want to be in the world's spotlight again, by becoming a dream team again

after messi moved to PSG, barca until now still haven't found a person who can replace messi's prestige at barca so they have big ambitions to bring lewandowski and also Moh Salah to camp nou

barca under xavi's control is good, no players to add

It doesn't make sense that these 2 players are on Barcelona's target list If that's true, it's certain that Barcelona will have problems from the authorities
the maximum budget for player salaries has been determined with a new line of players, the total salary has exceeded the budget so Barcelona have no way of dealing with it except selling old players.

I dont think its that easy to replace Messi at Barcelona or maybe any other club. He is one the best players in football history plus he was the legend in Barcelona and the Barca play was all around him. I still think that Barcelona will mainly focus on players that they can sign for free due to their financial situation
True, he is phenomenal and he could become a legend at Barcelona but on the other hand now the season is going on and indeed even though it is not easy to bring in the same player as messi but they have to keep patching the shortcomings left by messi even though it is difficult. Barcelona are having a bit of a financial problem and their strikers are now better than before I think instead of thinking about replacing Messi, it's better to fill other positions such as midfielders and defenders.

It is a really unfortunate situation for Chelsea now. And the most important thing they must do now is to keep their best players in the team somehow. Because some of their critical players like Rudiger are likely to leave the team at the end of their contracts. For example, Rudiger is very important for Chelsea defense now. He is their everything there. And he is a very special defender as he sometimes takes significant responsibilities in their matches and be very good at scoring like a striker too.

If chelsea win the champions league for one more time and two times consecutively im pretty sure that the likes haaland and mbappa could be interested really hard in joining chelsea lol .
I hope this happened especially if the saudi takeover did really realized , money shouldnt be a problem at all.
Mbappe indeed have to mpve elsewhere.

Chelsea has the market blocked for the War in Ukraine.
Only free agents can leave the team, nobody else can leave or arrive at them.
Whoops , i forgot about UEFA double standard lol

you know that newcastle takeover also had serious problem in the proccess , as the newcastle owner being so close with a regime in genocide , they should ban them as well , but yeah it's a double standard once again.
chelsea might get bankrupt or else the next owner would be someone who we don't want and yet we fall apart.

It is for certain that Robert Lewandowski would go to a team that he won't have any problem on being in the starting eleven regularly. He is still one of the best strikers who are playing actively now. And he is already a legend for most people including me too. When we take this into account, he must go to one of the very prestigious teams if he decides to leave this summer. And as long as Bayern Munich don't start any contract negotiation with him, it looks like he will really leave.

The problem: Lewandowski isn't a player who feels comfortable sitting on the bench, he wants to play regularly. Aubameyang and Lewandowski have the same position, they are central forward. Since Aubameyang can play effectively as a central forward of Barcelona right now, which means Lewandowski will sit on the bench as long as Aubameyang is in his best performance. Because of that reason, I very doubt if Lewandowski wants to move to Barcelona. He must know that it can be a bad destination for his career.

Yeah too much striker is what makes me also feel like Lewandowski to Barca is not gonna happen. If Lewandowski also comes in someone has to lose their play time in that list. As for Aubameyang, he can adjust on left wing position so I think he will be adjusted but rest might lose some play time of this is gonna happen. Lewandowski is a goal machine and no way one would just make him sit out.

Well right now Lewandowski is Bayern's player and Bayern could be working on a contract extension as they will be going to lose their leading goalscorer.

Barcelona and Dembele seem to be over now and Dembele will be let go now.
Their contract expires in a matter of months but at the moment Dembele is still struggling to increase his salary at Barcelona but with the current condition and Dembele's performance during his time at Barcelona I think it will be very difficult even if he has performed well in the last few games.
Reportedly Dembele will go to PSG following Neymar and Messi

Lewandowski is having contract problems with Bayern and I think he is very much likely to leave free in next transfer window. Luuk de Jong is currently on loan at Barca so I think he will go back to Sevilla. Maybe Barca are looking to replace then? Lewandowski is going free and also won't give as much dent to their financial condition as compared to Haaland and Mbappe whom newspapers and online articles recently linked up.

the issue is not only Salah, barca are also targeting lewandowski, I think it's a strange decision because now barca have good strikers (like Memphis Depay, Luuk de Jong, F Torres and Aubameyang).  other than that, dembele is also in good shape
Agree. There is no need to buy more strikers, they already have many strikers and the current strikers look good enough in playing during Xavi is managing the Barcelona squad. If they want to have new players, they better improve the left-backs or right-backs because these lines look not strong enough. Anyway, buying Lewandowski only makes Aubameyang not feel comfortable and Barcelona must pay a big salary for him. This is surely not a wise decision, just waste money and make the situation in the attacking line be worse.

I read the news about Barcelona's plans and they already look like some kind of fantasy: either they are fighting for Mbappe, or they are offering Bayern to sell Lewandowski, etc.

Reflecting back to how PSG fans disrespected Lionel Messi, I think they should apologize for that coz I know that during this Champions League loss against Real Madrid Messi wasn't the fault in any way as the team was below average.
Recently you ask someone who your best player is and they won't call either Messi or Ronaldo, I think they demanded too much from him in that game.
PSG expectations after signing Messi was very high thinking that he would make a difference and deliver especially in UCL after several attempt in winning the coveted trophy but failed, this is a trophy which had eluded the club in past seasons despite having the financial might to win it, I believe they needed to sign a new experience manager after relieving Pochetino his job, probably the new manager would deploy a new tactical formation on how to utilize and exploit potentials of Messi in matches, I think he is capable of making a difference in the club.

Gavi and Araujo say 'no' to Barca's third renewal offer

It looks like Barcelona are having a big problem retaining players. Their contract expires in the summer of 2023 and if they don't reach an agreement they will simply leave for free - they already have good offers from the Premier League and although they would like to stay in Barcelona, the salary offered does not suit them.

Gavi especially is a very valuable player for Barcelona now. He is called as the next Iniesta for them. Losing a very promising player like him would hurt them deeply. Gavi is only 17 years old now but his current contract is running out on June 30, 2023. He is so young that some other big clubs would already be on the line to sign him at all costs. Rich clubs wouldn't care about pouring a lot of money for a very promising player. Barcelona really need money now maybe but I think that their priority would be to keep him here.

I read the news about Barcelona's plans and they already look like some kind of fantasy: either they are fighting for Mbappe, or they are offering Bayern to sell Lewandowski, etc. It looks like management wants to double the existing debt instead of living on the club's income  Grin I do not know what this adventurous policy will lead to, but the situation is becoming more and more interesting.

I think it's better for Barcelona if they do not go for Muhammad Salah because his demands will be a lot higher than Dembele's. and I think Dembele is doing quite well with Barcelona especially recently, so I think he deserves a raise.

it will be smart for Barcelona to extend the contract of Ousmane Dembele rather than go for Muhammad Salah. because the financial situation of Barcelona does not allow them to go for a transfer like that.
you are right, choosing salah will only increase the financial burden of barca.

There is hope to target Mou. Salah. It would be wrong if Barcelona wanted him, but I don't think that will be their main transfer target for next season. Barcelona have just announced their new partnership with Spotify, it will be a great addition to their finances and maybe it will give them hope of extending the contracts of some players despite the demand for a raise.

So I think there will be some team reshuffle next season, but the central position for left-back and right-back should get special attention from Xavi instead of just thinking about wingers or strikers.

Dembele is slowly becoming a very important player in the Barcelona club, it will be wise for his management to agree an extension of his contract rather than joining PSG~~~
Dembele's performance has been much better under Xavi this season. He has become an important player and he is also one of the best wingers of his age. The Frenchman I hope can reach an agreement in his new contract with Barcelona, he is needed and he can also develop even better with Xavi.

I must admit that both parties have their own interests, both from Dembele's side and from his agent's side as well as from Barcelona's side. Xavi expects Dembele to stay, as do most of his team-mates. That's good for him and the career I've seen him develop so far has been pretty impressive. But in the end Dembele and his agents will determine his future.

The expectation around Anthony Martial is still to come back to Manchester United in the summer. There's no buy option included in the deal with Sevilla and currently no talks opened to keep Martial for one more season. 🔴🇫🇷 #MUFC

Sevilla will make their final decision in May.

I think this is highly unlikely as i do not think the club will want to spend so much during the transfer season especially if they want to retain dembele, because a new contract for him will mean a raise in wages.
I second that too, i think this is just a rumor, as far as i know Barcelona are still in a financial crisis and most of their recent signings had to take paycuts from what they were earning in their previous teams. I think the issue Salah is having with Liverpool now is based on wages, thus there is no way he can move to Barcelona as they would be unable to meet up with his wage demand. Well if it was possible, Salah would be a great addition, he dribbles superbly and has a wicked left foot, not as good as Messi, but it could bring back the Messi feeling to the Camp Nou, but it looks impossible right now that Salah will sign for Barcelona. I actually expect Mo to remain in Liverpool, they can't afford to lose him.
