I am also quite surprised that this rumor now has come up and that even serious sports news are reporting those rumors. I mean come on, for me it's already ridiculous that Real Madrid wants to sign Mbappe because they also have more than 900 Million of debts. Mbappe does not cost any transfer fee but they need to pay him at least 25 M€ per year as salary and probably also some additional signing fees that are going to Mbappes agent. And now the rumors that even Barcelona wants to try to sign Mbappe which is even more ridiculous because they have more than 1,3 Billion € of debts i mean come on, they should not be allowed to have a negative balance for transfer within every season until they are free of debts.

While some coaches or club boards think small, believing that hiring a single talented player (and often quite expensive) or changing the coach is the solution to all problems... Xavi sees the "whole set" and knows that for the team to work everything must be aligned, and this is working very well.

I knew from the beginning that Xavi would be successful at Barcelona, I just didn't believe he would take up the challenge.

Barcelona can sign Mbappe if they want. Maybe they are financially weaker now than Real Madrid. But now Barcelona is much more economically stable. Moreover, Real Madrid will probably try their best to take Haaland to the team. And if Haaland joins Real Madrid, we will probably see Mbappe in Barcelona.

I think this will be difficult. although they are stable now but the problem is their forward players have now piled up and quite a lot in my opinion not to mention the expenses they had to make to bring Mbappe to the Camp Nou which would obviously cost quite a bit there and we know they have to starting to shrink now though they are slowly starting to rise.

The key is Xavi knows what he wants and have well detailed strategy to execute his plan. When he was employed, the first thing was for him to relieve couple of backroom staffs of their job from the medical team, training facilities personnel and chef at the club. He literally overhaul those department to suit what he would want. The player's meal menu was changed too. He was clear of what he wanted and carried it out. I think that's the key to his success so far and also not spending money Barcelona don't even have at moment unnecessarily on purchasing players.
