Xavi is experienced enough. He knows which players are needed for his squad. And if he thinks Mbappe will bring good luck for Barcelona, he will continue to do his utmost to get Mbappe to the team.
At the same time, the Barcelona management will give full support to Xavi, as Xavi has already proved his worth. He is able to strengthen the almost devastated Barcelona team. However, Mbappe could probably be included in the squad as a replacement for Torres. But Torres is a young player. Does Barcelona still need to think about his replacement?
I don't think Barca wants Mbappe. I mean everyone would love to have Mbappe in their team but I think given his price tag and wage, i think it is out of Barca's budget. Moreover Barca are doing kinda economical signings and Mbappe is way way above that. Torres just got in now and I don't think they have any plans to remove him or just find a replacement for him. In my opinion, Xavi is someone who gives potential a chance and he will continue to give Torres chances. I don't think at all that Mbappe to Barca is possible at all.

yes, I also agree that  Barcelona, even though they want him, they are not going to be able to get the player because his wage is just too high for Barcelona to pay.
I think Barcelona is just taking a chance because he is a free agent at the end of his contract with PSG and I think that is exactly what Barcelona thought to be a chance for them to get that player.

Gavi and Araujo say 'no' to Barca's third renewal offer

It looks like Barcelona are having a big problem retaining players. Their contract expires in the summer of 2023 and if they don't reach an agreement they will simply leave for free - they already have good offers from the Premier League and although they would like to stay in Barcelona, the salary offered does not suit them.

Gavi especially is a very valuable player for Barcelona now. He is called as the next Iniesta for them. Losing a very promising player like him would hurt them deeply. Gavi is only 17 years old now but his current contract is running out on June 30, 2023. He is so young that some other big clubs would already be on the line to sign him at all costs. Rich clubs wouldn't care about pouring a lot of money for a very promising player. Barcelona really need money now maybe but I think that their priority would be to keep him here.

Both players are needed by Barcelona and they are the two mainstay players at the moment and this is an opportunity for the player agent to force the Barcelona management to increase the offer in his contract. Barcelona will reach an agreement with both of them before their contract expires in my opinion although it seems the club's financial condition will still make it difficult for them to try to convince their players.

These are the key players for Barcelona now, so the club is facing a difficult choice. The problem is that they already have offers with better conditions, so Barcelona will have to offer them no worse conditions. But will it be able to do it given its financial problems and the fact that Barcelona is going to spend money on acquiring other players.

Another rumors has broken out. In the race to sign Kylian Mbappe, Barcelona is challenging Real Madrid. Mbappe has not chosen yet and will listen to Barca's offer, according to several media outlets. According to this report, I don't think it's financially advisable for Barca to sign Mbappe. The club is just emerging from financial troubles, and going for a player whose salary is as large as Mbape's is not a good investment. Mbappe and Haaland are my top two choices for Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively.
It is quite surprising Barcelona is showing interest now that is if the rumors are true but the question is with which money? Yes, Mbappe will be free on summer but Barcelona cannot afford to give him the wages and bonus he wants. So, I will assume this just a rumor. Mbappe moving to Real Madrid seems like a done deal already but I would have love him in Barcelona because the team is just building and it will be easy for Xavi to build the team around him but the chance of this happening is low.

I am also quite surprised that this rumor now has come up and that even serious sports news are reporting those rumors. I mean come on, for me it's already ridiculous that Real Madrid wants to sign Mbappe because they also have more than 900 Million of debts. Mbappe does not cost any transfer fee but they need to pay him at least 25 M€ per year as salary and probably also some additional signing fees that are going to Mbappes agent. And now the rumors that even Barcelona wants to try to sign Mbappe which is even more ridiculous because they have more than 1,3 Billion € of debts i mean come on, they should not be allowed to have a negative balance for transfer within every season until they are free of debts.

I really don't understand!! if they are going to buy a player like Kylian Mbappé, Why did they ever let Lionel Messi go?  Huh

I know it might not make sense because at that time it seemed like they have no choice, right?

But how are they going to afford Kylian Mbappé now? Sad I have no idea and as the player is going to be a free agent I also can say it will be bad for Barcelona.

Exactly!
While some coaches or club boards think small, believing that hiring a single talented player (and often quite expensive) or changing the coach is the solution to all problems... Xavi sees the "whole set" and knows that for the team to work everything must be aligned, and this is working very well.

I knew from the beginning that Xavi would be successful at Barcelona, I just didn't believe he would take up the challenge.

I honestly think Azpilicueta still wants to be at Chelsea, he already see Stamford Bridge as his home and luring him out will be a huge task for Barcelona that is if Xavi really want him. The situation now I guess is if Chelsea offer him a two year contract, he will gladly stay at the club where he is captain and literally winning everything than going to a Barcelona side that is just building at moment.

Apz is eager to stay, and given the current state of the club's sections and ownership, he will almost certainly receive a contract extension, as the new owner(s) will most likely extend all pending contracts in order to keep the club united for at least another two or three seasons. There are currently three or four first team players who are out of contract, and we expect them to be rewarded with a contract extension. Apzi is the club's captain, and he's still playing at the highest level. He'd fit right in with any European team.

Because of the upcoming World Cup, Spanish clubs are looking to bring back all of their Spanish players, which is why Barcelona is looking to bring Morata and Apzi back to the league.

I think Xavi's transfer policy is very good and effective, it is evident that some of the players that Xavi brought to Barcelona contributed
quite a lot. So if next season Barcelona only brings in new players who have a free transfer status, it doesn't matter, the most important thing is
that the players that Barcelona bring in are really needed by Barcelona. Let's just entrust this transfer issue to Xavi, I am sure Xavi will not
carelessly bring new players to Barcelona. For Cesar Azpilicueta I think Barcelona really need it, because the Barcelona squad is pretty much
dominated by young players, then the presence of Azpilicueta is needed as a mentor for young defenders owned by Barcelona. To win many
trophies next season, can't just rely on young players, it takes experienced players like Azpilicueta. After all, Azpilicueta's performance with
Chelsea in my opinion is quite good. So Xavi must have his own reasons why he chose to bring Azpilicueta to Barcelona, we'll see how
Azpilicueta's contribution will be if he joins Barcelona next season.

Barcelona can sign Mbappe if they want. Maybe they are financially weaker now than Real Madrid. But now Barcelona is much more economically stable. Moreover, Real Madrid will probably try their best to take Haaland to the team. And if Haaland joins Real Madrid, we will probably see Mbappe in Barcelona.
I think this will be difficult. although they are stable now but the problem is their forward players have now piled up and quite a lot in my opinion not to mention the expenses they had to make to bring Mbappe to the Camp Nou which would obviously cost quite a bit there and we know they have to starting to shrink now though they are slowly starting to rise.
Instead of signing Mbappe I think it would be wiser if they start looking at defenders now because there are some spots that need to be patched there.
After getting new players, Barcelona changed and now they are looking to buy everyone so they can win cups. Their situation is interconnected with almost every player, but it's too much for now. Buying every striker will not be necessary for Barcelona. They should just quit now, which is what they're looking for. It looks like Xavi's rebuilding is going well. Right now team is quite stable and just moving forward.

Barcelona almost near to deal for transfer Franck Kessie from AC Milan and they will get this player for free because Kessie contract will ended this june 2022 and besides that Barcelona also aiming some of players which is free transfer for this summer such as Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta from Chelsea and Noussair Mazraoui from Ajax so if Barcelona successfully get all of those players then they will have potential players even without spend a lot of money
It's quite unique to see Barcelona current transfer method, a few months ago when Barcelona were afflicted with severe financial problems it might be natural for them to continue to bring free players to the club, but for now I think their financial problems have been resolved after they cooperated with Spotify and reportedly Spotify has allocated funds of 280 million euros for barcelona, but I wonder why barcelona are still chasing free players to be recruited next season?
To strengthen the position of midfielder, Kessie maybe can be a good choice for barcelona apart from being free of course kessie is still old 25 years old and still has enough potential to play long term, but for Cesar Azpilicueta, I think it is the no good choice for them to recruit even though it is free of charge, because he is already quite old at this time.
Barcelona behaviour currently was change since Xavi in the team that they pick the players for free transfer i think that is very effective and previous transfer were very successfully makes Barcelona performance increase rapidly and not necessary spend a lot of money to get them and although they already get new sponsorship but i don't think for next summer Barcelona will buy expensive players and for Cesar Azpilicueta i know he isn't young anymore but during in Chelsea he was showing stable performance and he looks suitable with Xavi strategy
The key is Xavi knows what he wants and have well detailed strategy to execute his plan. When he was employed, the first thing was for him to relieve couple of backroom staffs of their job from the medical team, training facilities personnel and chef at the club. He literally overhaul those department to suit what he would want. The player's meal menu was changed too. He was clear of what he wanted and carried it out. I think that's the key to his success so far and also not spending money Barcelona don't even have at moment unnecessarily on purchasing players.

Yep. He played convincingly and continues to improve his performance after he is back from injury. IMO, this is the sign that he still wants to be a part of Barcelona squad, he has the intention to stay. If he doesn't want to stay, he should play as he wants, which means not really care to improve his performance. But what he did, is the opposite. According to this sign, I am pretty sure he wants to negotiate for an extension of his contract in Barcelona. If he thinks Barcelona management offers a decent salary, he surely prefers to stay.  Wink
It seems that two weeks ago there was information at the level of rumors that Dembele had already agreed on the terms of a personal contract with Paris Saint Germain. Moreover, the attempt of this transfer was already in the winter and failed at the very last moment due to the fact that Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain could not agree, and now it does not legally depend on Barcelona and the player will become a free agent in the summer and can safely move already. Therefore, I still think that a move to Paris is the most likely option, despite the fact that Barcelona would certainly like to keep the player and a good contact of the player with Xavi, but still a preliminary agreement is likely to be more important.
I think PSG have internal problem right now after eliminating from Champion League and less chance for Dembele will move to PSG and I see he still waiting with agreement contract value with Barcelona, right now Dembele still not any negotiation with another club although his contract with Barcelona will over at the end this season and he would like keep stay on Camp Nou, but still waiting will Barcelona approve with salary offering by Dembele or give chance to other club get Dembele as free transfer player. Last several match with Barcelona, Dembele have been regular and important player for Xavi Hernandez and I think the manager keep ask him stay with Barcelona and agree with extended new contract.
PSG problem is not as deep as what Manchester United have. The truth is that they just need a proven winner as a coach and probably a top striker in that team. There are doubts if Dembele is a right fit for them even at Barcelona, fans are divided about whether he should stay or not. Truth is it is frustrating for Barcelona fans watching Dembele because he easily pick up injuries

Kessie has been positive to leave Milan, now rumors are starting to appear that Milan will bring in a midfielder. There are 2 names that are circulated in the media, Razvan Marin and Jorginho. However, I am a little pessimistic that one of these players will be brought in by Milan, because Milan very often gets players not been rumored in media for a long time before.

For short-term projects, it can be said that Xavi has made effective decisions, especially at this time Barcelona finances were in a bad condition so there was no other choice but to bring in lots of free players, but I remember that Xavi once said that he had a long-term project with Barcelona and want to prioritize young players to regenerate the current barcelona squad, for the long term I think the current free players xavi can't rely because most of them only have about 1 or 2 more seasons to show their form, other than that by relying on old players of course will make barcelona spend a lot of time balancing the club every time the transfer window opens and require them to continue to look for replacements for these old players, I think xavi needs to develop more young talent if he wants to make Barcelona a club that has stability for the next few seasons front.

Yeah. Barca's 4-0 humiliation of Real Madrid in their own backyard silenced anyone who doubted Xavi's signings and many critics have changed their opinions on the manager. His work is unquestionably changing the team into a more rounded side, rather than a one man team. We already knew what kind of football he was going for but now his recruitment seems to be paying off. Compared to previous management, he has a very positive attitude with the young team, and everyone seems genuinely happy to work with him. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. It's still early days and there's still a lot of work to be done.

Players who are good for the club in the long run are vital. Bringing in better players means you can have more options for the manager but that doesn't guarantee better results for the club. In this case, the best players for Barca are the ones who improve the players around them.

As long as manchester united has not done a complete overhaul of their squad, I think it will be a waste if they bring in a coach as good as any next season, if I see that the main problem of manchester united now lies in players who do not have a winning mentality at all, plus their coach lacks creativity in strategizing the game on the pitch, besides that I think the defenders should be the focus for them to improve later and it can be said besides varane maybe Manchester should throw all their defenders player in next season.

I am aware that Manchester United have not been consistent enough under the management of Ralf Rangnick. He is doing his best to rescue Manchester United's season but a lot of fans are just desperate to know who the new permanent boss will be so we can start planning for the future. Ten Hag will want to sign a number of players in the summer to match his ambition and style of play and it stands to reason that some of the current squad will not be up to the standard needed. If Ten Hag comes and they don't change this bunch of players, Manchester united will not still achieve anything. And I am sure that they wont want to let some players out forgetting that Ten Hag is great for clubs who play Ajax style and have those kind of players: Barcelona Manchester city, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich. Manchester United belongs to a different family of more reactive football; Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid.
Reportedly Manchester has indeed made the choice on Ten Hag to become permanent coach for the 2022/23 season, Ten Hag has completed his interview on Monday and it is reported that Manchester is ready to pay a compensation fund to Ajax of around £4.2 million, I think Ten Hag arrival is possible will change the style of play of manchester but manchester must also be prepared to spend a lot of money to bring in new players according to the wishes of the ten hag in the future, because as you said it looks like ten hag will not keep many of the current manchester players, but i hope the arrival of ten hag The Hag later will not turn Manchester United into a Dutch club, because we know that many Dutch coaches prefer to bring in and prioritize players from the Netherlands to the clubs they train so far.

PSG is working on a permanent deal for Mendes - they have an option to buy him for 40 million Euros and will probably have to pay the full amount.
He's a really promising player in a generally deficitary position so there's no surprise in Sporting's stance.

In other news - Bayern will pay 300k eur compensation to Borussia Monchengladbach for their 13! year old striker Mike Wisdom. This is really getting insane - there was no way for Borussia to keep him. There has to be a way for smaller clubs to be able to have some sort of protection in such cases - otherwise all promising youngsters will soon be in 10 richest clubs.
