I have also heard that Todd Bohely is more interested in the profit that he earns instead of actually making the club better. Probably that is also a reason why we are watching such a downfall of Chelsea in recent times. But directly saying that also makes you think that they are spending money, so reasons could be a lot of other factors as well.

Todd Bohely is an investor that only cares about his profits and knows nothing about football. He's spending too much money right now so he can profits in the future. The numbers of first team players Chelsea has is increasing and he's not stopping soon as he is adding more players to the team. The only reason I can think about why he's doing this is to be able to sell the players in the future for profits. He might loan many of them out to have playing time to increase their value and when he sells them, he's make a fortune. Haven't you noticed the long contracts, he isn't only doing that just to avoid FFP rules but also to hold the players for long.

-Edited-
Todd is the main problem at Chelsea currently, he sees every players as a form of investment which is disappointing to me, the new management gives little to no concern to our Cobham players even after all the funds invested by the previous management. His management is discouraging the Cobham youngsters, maybe this was why he had issue with Poch.

The amount Chelsea did pay for some players as been alarming which somehow as been the reason so much pressure are on them to do well also.

While I so much hate Todd management and his questionable management system from really long  contract is often surprising how much these players do receive weekly which is a lot different from the past where a player receive, though this matter also on the stars they are going for and I guessed this would be the main problem getting Osimhen though Lukaku and Sterling currently earns more than him at Chelsea.

Another issue is from the fact that he continues to sign various teenagers and then loan them while we can see that those he signed like 2022/2023, is now open for sale while some worth more others definitely lost value these is another thing that is drawing FFP and in order not to face this problem they would have to sell some of the promising youngsters either from this or from the academy which will folk out some good fee.

I just hope if things will turn out worst it should happen now even if it's bankruptcy or relegation or FFP then maybe Todd would be kick out or at least become sensible to act in the right way of managing club.

There is close to zero chance Vini Jr leaves Real Madrid to go to Saudi Arabia any time soon.

He is not even at his peak yet, he earns more than enough at Real and has a chance to take over from Messi and CR7 as the next world super star.

No way he goes to Saudi which is essentially a well paid retirement home for older players.

Yep. With the value of media content growing, Vinnie could easily make a billion as a top player in a top league (in Europe, that is) without having to go to Saudi Arabia. The offer from the Saudis is on one hand incredible in terms of the amount of money on offer, but also what Vinnie has to sacrifice, and obviously Vinnie will not go astray from the path he is following his idol (Ronaldo). First a bunch of titles and the Ballon d'Ors, and only at the end of his career, Saudi Arabia (if it is relevant by that time).

This news is purely speculative. 1 Billion Euros is a lot of money and I think the Arabs know what kind of money it is. Otherwise, it is impossible for a player to pay that much as a transfer fee. Even if the player has superpowers, this is a huge amount of money. With 1 billion euros you could build a team that would put an end to Real Madrid's dominance. That's why it's a lot of money for a player. I think Real Madrid knows this and that's why they have set a utopian value for Vini Jr. Even those who don't understand soccer know that Vini Jr is don’t worth 1 billion Euros. I think the media site that published this news has seen a serious drop in traffic lately.

In the meantime, some journalists have confirmed the offer from the Saudis to Vini Jr. and that he will receive a total salary of 1 billion euros over the entire contract period. Sounds crazy and I too would have thought that there was nothing to the rumours, but apparently they are true. Despite the sum, Vini is not convinced and is having second thoughts. If the player agrees, I am sure that Real can also be convinced with an amount below the transfer fee agreed in the contract.

Ajax is interested in Aaron Ramsdale from Arsenal.
Arsenal for this reason is interest in a move for Joan Garcia0
Real Madrid will not allow to leave for the Saudi Pro League for AS, but imho this is a BS, the player as a release clause if anyone will pay it the play can leave the minute after the payment.
Al-Ittihad will keep Kante.

I think Saudi Arabia have a way to convince players to come over and it's from the tempting bids. This is crucially not suitable for the balance budget of the European football as it disrupts it. However, this huge offer is very tempting and Vinicius Junior is the next era of Ronaldo and Messi. He's also one of the best players over the past years, merely coming into limelight in Real Madrid jersey, under the appropriate management of Florentino Pérez and Carlo Ancelotti.

Why did Nketiah’s move to Marseille collapsed? What is the reason why Marseille didn’t pay that money for Nketiah ?
However, we won't know why Marseille made that  decision. Could be economic or football reasons. Either way, I can't even blame Nketiah.
Some articles that I've read (most of them pointed to the same source) basically claims that Marseille feels that 30 million euro is just too much for him, which is why they will sign another player roughly at the same price. I guess their budget is just limited since they move quickly to find another target. I don't think we'll know much further than this. I wonder if other clubs will try to sign him on the next transfer windows, probably hoping for a cheaper transfer fee or even free transfer deal.
An agreement between the clubs was not reached. And yes, it seems like this is indeed a matter of costs that are too expensive. And Marseille have found the player they are targeting. And with this, the transfer was agreed to be canceled and Marseille have found a player they can reach more for, for example Elye Wahi from Lens.  And it seems that Nketiah is really disappointed with Marseille's failure to redeem him from Arsenal. But he still has the opportunity to leave Arsenal because it looks like there are other Premier League clubs that will be targeting him in the transfer market, for example Bournemouth, which currently needs a striker.

Vinicius' $382.5 million annual salary if he goes to Saudi Arabia, I don't think he'll be tempted by the big money to stay longer at Real Madrid.
Provided that the clause is successfully redeemed for $1 billion, Vini's move will be even closer.

I feel that he will not leave, he is still at a young age and he has not achieved much so he will stay at Real Madrid and after the age of 30 if there is an offer from Arabia again never refuse. Grin

Obviously it will only be a rumor that will not happen and Real Madrid and Vinicius Jr said that they rejected the offer.
From this post I understand that the player is 24 years old and he still has a higher career with a big European club.
While in the SPL it will not be able to provide a big career like when with a European club and on the other hand Real Madrid is also unlikely to let go of Vinicius Jr who is currently a key player.
The rumor does not need to be taken seriously and just ignore it.

It is true that vini can earn a lot of money by playing in the Saudi league. But perhaps his career will not go forward. Vini is now at the most important moment of his career. Vini was one of the best performers in La Liga last season. And Vinicius has a great chance to win this year's Ballon d'Or. In such a situation, there is a big possibility that Vini's performance will deteriorate if he goes to a club in the Saudi League. Because the Saudi League is relatively less competitive. And it is not sure whether Vini will be able to join any big club later.

Vinicius is certainly not stupid and greedy. Vinicius has no chance of accepting the Saudi League's offer. No one wants to leave a big club like Real Madrid for a small club just for the money. Moreover, Vini's career will be better in the future. He is going to be one of the best strikers in the world in the future, unless his performance is hampered by injuries.

A few years ago we saw Neymar leave La Liga for the less competitive league Ligue 1. PSG were the stronger team. But we don't see the expected good performance from Neymar. So Vini should never take such a decision which may harm her career.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
a pretty good buy for man united, hopefully these two defenders can help the red devils defense in the premier league and other competitions, man united spent 60 million euros for two people, that's a good expense, and ten hag is trusted by management to choose his recruits in full, hopefully this season erik ten hag will not disappoint man united supporters, and can compete.

on the other hand manchester united will face fulham in their first match, de ligt can be played considering luke shaw is injured.
Manchester united last season suffered often from the fact that their defence was so bad while their key defenders where often injured and this season they are really doing well fixing that problem by getting more defenders, I expected them to sign more after their new signing Lenny Yoro was injured during pre season, good buy though all they hope is for them to turn out great once the season kicks off now especially with no unfortunate injuries set backs.
After the back line is now resolved because the purchase of a defender has been completed, now Man United is eyeing Ivan Toney along with Chelsea because this team also wants him.

Hojlund is injured for a few weeks.
Rashford is linked with Arab Club, this is not certain.
So anticipate when there is a Rashford agreement with another team then Ivan Toney will be the next target, so far they have not dared to pay 60M for Ivan Toney.

Rumours have been circulating for a few hours now that Al-Ahli want to take Vinicius Jr. from Real, but Real Madrid are pointing to the transfer fee stipulated in the contract, which is 1 billion euros. I can't imagine that any club would pay that amount for any athlete, not even one from the Saudi league. Even for the clubs from Saudi Arabia, €1bn is a lot of money even if they had the money to pay.

It is excessive to pay a €1 billion clause for Vinicus even though Arab clubs are never short of money but it must be more reasonable to buy players, and the clause is so that no club can redeem him so Real Madrid still owns him.

I know that this will never happen. €1 billion is a lot of money. Maybe it's just a few rumors because it's not going to be valid and it's just going to increase the traffic of the media.

This news is purely speculative. 1 Billion Euros is a lot of money and I think the Arabs know what kind of money it is. Otherwise, it is impossible for a player to pay that much as a transfer fee. Here's a good signing by Manchester United, they bought both De Ligt and Mazraoui from Bayern Munich only for 60 Million Euros. Their back line will be stronger, nice to see Manchester United paying attention with their back line instead of focusing to sign new striker over and over.

They will save Onana's name since they will minimize Manchester United of getting conceded. Cheesy

This transfer is really good and for the price of 60 million MU bought two good defenders to the team, besides both seem to have played at Ajax and Ten Hag should know both players. The main thing is not to turn out like with Yoro, who was bought for 60 million and managed to get injured before the season and now probably will miss a couple of months.
Also weak position in the defense is the wings, because in fact one Dalot is left of those who can play a good edge defender.
Ajax by the way joked that after the purchase of Mazraoui and De Ligt, Manchester United should properly be called Ajax United.

Manchester United has signed new players, including Erik Ten Hag, who are expected to help the team win trophies this season. Even without Shaw, Manchester United will still perform well in their first game against Fulham. Erik tag hag as sign players, and some of them are injured, but I am confident they will return in good health and help the team perform well. The team will undoubtedly be strong, as evidenced by their performance against Manchester City in the last week's final they did well, but they did not have the opportunity to win the trophy. However, with a new season, Erik Tag has the opportunity to win numerous trophies if he performs well in all of the competitions. Manchester United's performance will improve with what I'm witnessing today, they're new players who are extremely excellent and will do anything necessary to assist the club achieve something, even if it's not in the league, they can try and win the Europa League.

🚨 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Luke Shaw will miss the opening games of the Premier League season due to a calf injury sustained recently! ⛔️🤯

He is working on his rehabilitation to being available after the first international break, Man Utd confirm.

Some few hours ago, Fabrizio announced on his facebook page that Luke Shaw will miss the opening match of Manchester United with Fulham and I recieved the information with some kinds of pity for Manchester United. During the pre-season matches, Manchester United newly signed defender was ruled out for months and now Shaw is off. This shows that Manchester United is going to suffer another defence crisis this season.

Shaw injured, Manchester United had received Mazraoui instead because Mazraoui could play in the left back position as played during the Champions League final against Real Madrid. Many Bayern Munich matches, Mazrauoi often play as LB.
Regarding Shaw, he often goes up and down the operating table. Meanwhile, every time he returns to the field after the operation, his performance does not change so Erik Ten Hag often plays it as a starter. In fact he was played in CB position when Maguire's performance often did blunders.

This guy is one of the most injury-prone players I have ever seen in football.  Tongue

It has been only two months since he recovered from his last injury. It lasted nearly half a year. Who knows when he will come back after another injury. This guy is making 10.4 million pounds a year currently.

https://www.capology.com/player/luke-shaw-34892/

I think he should be sold ASAP. He isn't beneficial for the team anymore because of getting injured too often. He still has 3 more years on his contract. There is no need to spend that much money on his salary while he is no use.  Sad

It's time for us to put him on sale. That's enough for us to have patiently waited for him to fit again. I meant Luke Shaw was super injury-prone, and it's not good to keep him much longer. I know, it's sad for the player, but it's frustrating for us. He hasn't played for us since February.

And this is what happened to him. Luke recovered from his injury. He played 2 games at the Euros. He took a 3-week holiday after the Euros. He got injured again as we neared the EPL opening week. No thanks, that's enough to have him at United.

I really do support Manchester United in searching for a new LB to replace him. Luke Shaw's career is now finished in Manchester United.

I have never heard him say that before, or maybe I am a little behind the news. If what Boehly said is true, then I will not be surprised why Chelsea are like this now, and to be honest I probably will not expect Chelsea to perform better than what they are showing now, and the worst possibility is they will be relegated.  Grin

A club owner who only wants profit is something very selfish in my opinion, because he only thinks about himself. I know that football can not be separated from business, especially now that football has become commercial. But they also have to think about an achievement that can be achieved. I will talk about the club that is the best club in Europe at the moment, Real Madrid. They run their football business very well, but they also do not forget about the achievements they have to get, we know what Real Madrid's achievements are like.

Hopefully the arrival of De Ligt and Mazraoui will provide new strength that can meet Man United's expectations next season. Considering the previous recruitment was a bit disappointing when Yoro, who was more expensive than the 2 players, actually harmed Man United. So I will let Yoro focus on healing himself, even most likely Yoro will be a failed purchase for Man United. The presence of De Ligt and Mazraoui is definitely more of a priority, one thing that still makes us doubtful is the matter of Man United's health management which is often discussed by many people.
Manchester United, which had a pretty bad defense last season has tried to improve their current squad, especially in defense, in Last season transfers actually Manchester United has bring in several defensive players, but this didn't make their squad better, even with Varane, Martinez, Casemiro and Maguire in their squad, being one of the big teams with the most goals conceded in the English league of course makes their defense line the focus of the fans, but  I think currently it seems like they are trying to focus on improving their defense line although in fact Manchester United main problem lies in the ten-hag who were indeed unable to maximize their performance and the quality of their players well, especially since last season Manchester United squad was filled with many star players, currently, Manchester United has equipped their squad well, but to be honest, I have a little doubt that they will be better next season.
