I have heard that Arsenal are also in the race to sign Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling. As far as I know, the other team after him are Barcelona now. And it is also claimed that Raheem Sterling has already said to his team that he wants to leave the team to join a new one which he could have more chances in the starting eleven. Maybe he played in 11 Premier League games but he didn't play for 90 minutes or so in most of them. In case he leaves, I wonder which club he will choose to go. If there are only these alternatives, then Barcelona would be a better choice.

Josep Guardiola has given the green light for Raheem Sterling to move to another club. We all know Sterling is not happy with Man City, not getting
regular playing time. So far, there are two teams that are most serious about signing Sterling, namely Barcelona and Arsenal. Indeed, most English
players prefer to play in the EPL, but Sterling has stated that he is ready to seek experience playing abroad. So there is an opportunity for Barcelona
to get Sterling, indeed what you say is true, Barcelona is the best choice if Sterling want to get a trophy. The problem is that Barcelona is still
experiencing a financial crisis, very different from Arsenal, which has much healthier finances. So Barcelona might lose out to Arsenal, if Arsenal offer
a higher purchase and also Arsenal can provide a higher salary than Barcelona. We'll see which team Sterling will choose, if Sterling wants to win
many trophies, Sterling will definitely reject Arsenal's offer.

How true is the news of Ballon d'or been given today ?
I ain't seeing the thread for that.
Who's your pick anyways ?
Lewandoski ?
Messi ?
Jorginho ?
Kante ?
Ballon d'or winner will be announced today, in 5 hours tho?
I am not aware of a topic about it but I suppose there is bets about the winner somewhere and Messi seems to be the most favourite. If he win it this time It will be upsetting since winning with Argentina while struggling in Barca and worse in PSG isn't a good sign for the other players that deserves to share that honor with him... Lewandowski is the best one last season. I find Benzema better than Messi since last season...

Ballon d'or are simply awarded,by voting from coaches, captains, journalist.
Messi is favorite, but its almost boring handing him the award tonight.
Lewandoski should take this time around he deserves it,jorghino also won the champions league and Euro's,what else does he needs before he wins the award ??
Messi got it as it was leaked yesterday, so it is the 7th time to win it (613 points). I am pretty much disappointed by this, it doesn't make sense and send horrible messages for all players. He said he is the first player in PSG to lift the Ballon d'or..
2nd place for Lewandowski (580 points), 3rd Jorginho (460 points) and 4th Benzema (239 points)...

Rangrick will not be here for a long term neither, they just didn't want Carrick as the interim coach so they are getting someone else for interim right now. He is not the end manager result right now, they are still trying to bag either Pochettino or Zidane, with expectations of Zidane going to PSG if they fail to get UCL this year and then Pochettino moving to United in that case.

Zidane has stated that he has no intention of moving to Manchester United so it will be Pochettino most likely. Zidane is not the type that will risk his reputation on Manchester United, he wants to go to a club that has enough quality to win the league or UCL so yeah its kinda undersandable from his POV because he started off in Real Madrid and won trophies in there

It seems that Real Madrid still insists on continuing to get reliable strikers and Mbappe or Haaland are their targets

Mbappe will most likely ended up in Real Madrid while Haaland could be going to Manchester City after Tottenham shown no intention of letting Kane go but things could change in the summer

I am 100% sure they would rather get Bielsa then keep rangrick or whoever that is, I seriously doubt United would be keeping anyone right now and looking for the future. Ronaldo could get a place in the new managers strategy next season, doesn't matter if he is in it or not this year.

Right now one thing is clear that Manchester United going to have some good manager in summer because current interim manager is just for 6 months, and they will decide after end of this season who is coming right now mostly peoples feeling PSG Pochettino is most favourite for this job, but he already announces he is happy in Paris but still many possibilities available as change of mind or better finances and Carrick will be available with new manager and if this due done some better than surely management can think about him as well because recently in just two games he was in good shape but with this new set up Ronaldo is not happy which is now new headache for Manchester United like they have Pogba hopefully they will be clear these all in positive way in this season with some better place.

If Ralf performs well for the remainder of the season, he would get retained. Michael Carrick did good in yesterday's game against Chelsea. While he made a couple of changes to the starting line up, it doesn't in anyway say that he's the right man for the job. Let's see what new plays and strategies Ralf Rangnick will bring to the table. Pochettino won't be leaving PSG anytime soon so the rumors should just stop.

I think Carrick will be better than Ralf Rangnick maybe in this week's game with Arsenal we will know what strategy he brings but we don't know fully whether Ralf Rangnick will shine with Man United players.
We can't say for sure if he is fit to coach Manchester United until the end of the season as he has only officiated a few games so far. I agree if you say that Carrick should be given a chance, but it looks like Manchester United haven't decided yet. I heard that Manchester United also have an interest in Pochettino (PSG coach), it looks like it will be interesting to hear how this rumor goes.

Goal.com claims that Erling Haaland's preferred club is going to be Real Madrid in case he leaves Dortmund this summer. And I think that he is quite likely to leave this time. Dortmund managed to keep him at the club for once. But I don't think that the second time will happen. And I really don't want Erling Haaland to continue at Dortmund for many years. His current level is way above Dortmund and the Bundesliga's. He deserves to play at much bigger clubs.

https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/real-madrid-haaland-borussia-dortmund-2022/blt5b0892584516ce3a

If Real Madrid is really able to afford both Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland their squad would be absolutely massive. I'm really curious to see if they manage to sign both players next summer. I think it's pretty certain that Haaland will leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer - whether it's really Real Madrid then remains to be seen. I think a move to Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain or FC Bayern is also possible. But Real Madrid seems the most likely.

It seems that Real Madrid still insists on continuing to get reliable strikers and Mbappe or Haaland are their targets, but for me one of them may have happened to Real Madrid's move.
Some media said Real Madrid would still continue to try and negotiate to bring him in because Real Madrid still had to deal with expensive strikers, but it seems that whatever the price and salary, it doesn't matter what is important is that they both can come.

It looks like Barcelona's 24-year-old right winger Ousmane Dembele is not thinking of extending his contract with Barcelona. His contract is going to expire this summer and he is going to be a free agent. I think that he made a big mistake by coming to Barcelona in the first place. His performance level has come down too much since he joined Barcelona. He was performing much better at Dortmund. And maybe we could see him going back to Dortmund again. And it would be really nice I guess.

Ralf Rangnick has been named interim manager at Manchester United until the end of the season. A 6-month contract will be followed by a 2-year appointment as a consultant. He has never won major trophies or managed a major club. Carrick is a better manager than this guy. Nothing would change with his appointment, just a normal procedure until Poch shows up.

This always looks at Ronaldo who is not young anymore, many say Ralf Rangnick doesn't like old players but what about Ronaldo at this time who is still active as a regular player since his arrival.
Just need to see how Ralf Rangnick plays Ronaldo in his formation.

Dembele's contract matters more and more complicated. his financial demands are beyond Barcelona's ability.
The Catalan press is talking about 3 clubs that offered him better offers than Barca.
It is very important to deal calmly even in the event of his departure for free, and he must be used as much as possible for his last day in the club.

Carrick was managing the team yesterday, Rangnick is still waiting for some documents (I think visa) to be able to arrive to Manchester.

Whatever we think about Ronaldo - United is a team that will collectively play better without him than with him. I don't think Ronaldo will leave in the winter, it's still to early. But I can see him being a drama queen, messing up the atmosphere and leaving in the summer.
Ralf Rangnick has officially been Manchester United coach until the end of this season after which he will be a consultant for two years on his contract.
There is still a lot of speculation about Ronaldo not being a regular player anymore it's still uncertain whether he will keep playing it or choose another way without Ronaldo, but for me it is very important for CR7 to remain a regular player and Ralf Rangnick will know how important CR7 is at the moment.
But Ralf Rangnick's decision is official with many news media.

I think Ronaldo always vent his anger for not starting a match or not in a starting line, yesterday after the final whistle he moved out of the pitch without the regular handshake with his teammates and opponents, this is a clear frustration, if after the arrival of Ralf Rangnick he is not playing regularly due to some tactical changes, he might leave the club and move elsewhere to a club where a regular playing time is guaranteed, I agreed that he is ageing but he always feel that he has a lot to offer to his team, even at his age.

While with Juventus, Ronaldo decided to leave because he was not on Allegri's strategy list, if Rangnick also didn't expect Ronaldo because he was too old, then this could make sense why Ronaldo could leave at any time. This is not because of the tough training problems, but also the time to play and the opportunity to became starting XI for Ronaldo. No player happy to be a substitute. Rumors of Ronaldo's departure will be even stronger if in the next few months before the season ends, Ronaldo is only a substitute or doesn't even get Ragnick's trust.

I think Ronaldo is not only playing for money, but he wants to end the rest of his career by giving more trophies to the club where he plays. If it was money, of course Ronaldo would probably choose PSG.

Is Ragnick making wrong decisions already ?
I think yes, Ronald is giving his possible best, you could see how he ways to always win.
This is manchester united,I don't think that will be easy for the new coach, the fans and board won't permit that, you have to be with champions to improve your mentality, Ronaldo should not be benched for me.

If Ragnick really benched Ronaldo, I think it's the wrong thing to do because at this time Ronaldo is still productive in scoring goals and he is still one of the most dangerous strikers in the world. Even though Ronaldo is no longer young, and his speed is not as fast as it used to be, but Ronaldo is still a striker who is hungry for goals with a very impressive playing spirit.

So I think, if Ronaldo was put on the bench by Ragnick (not playing regularly), then Ronaldo would definitely rebel against that decision, and it is very likely that he will leave Man United.
