Newcastle United have become the latest club to join the race to sign Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic, who is also a target for Barcelona.
According to Calciomercato, Christian Pulisic has become one of the most in-demand players in the transfer market, as clubs look to prise him away from Stamford Bridge in January. The Chelsea forward is believed to be unhappy with Thomas Tuchel for his lack of game-time and could be set for a move elsewhere.
Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for Pulisic. However, it appears Newcastle United and Genoa have also joined the chase for the American international, as he looks to take the next step in his career.

In the voting for Globe Soccer Player of 2021, the Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo currently leads. Apart from Ronaldo, Messi, Salah, Benzema, and Lewandowski are also on the list of nominees for the 2021 Global Soccer Awards. So, what is Lewandowski's position? When you look at Robert Lewandowski's position, you can see how fair that is. Does anyone care about the globe soccer awards? We are all looking forward to Monday's Ballon d'Or award presentation.
We recognize that Ronaldo and Messi are the best footballers in the world, but for this year I don't think Ronaldo and Messi deserve this award, because their performance so far at the club is far from perfect, maybe Messi has succeeded in bringing Argentina to the Copa America champions, but instead his performance at the club is still very far from expectations, I think lewandowski and benzema are more deserving to be able to win the award this year than ronaldo.
I don't know what basis is taken in determining whether or not someone deserves the award, but if it's just from the vote, it's clear that Ronaldo and Messi have quite a lot of fans compared to other players in the world.

Domination of best player in the world usually they success get UEFA Champion league trophy and I see Kante is the best choose than Ronaldo, Benzema and Lewandoski, I don't think the last name is become best player in this season because he failed make Bayern Munich keep dominance and get UEFA champion league trophy in this year beside he failed make his country qualify on World Cup 2022 Qatar. I think Kante is the best player in this year and very funny if Ronaldo or Messi keep dominance in this year.
In fact, if you look at last season, if the Ballon d'or was not postponed because of covid, I was very sure that I could win it because he was already very dominating at that time.
but even now I think he could still be a strong candidate for it.

On the other hand, actually when we talk about Ronaldo and Messi in these 2 seasons, I think Kante can be a strong candidate with Jorginho and Lewa.

Le Parisien reports that PSG managed to persuade Zinedine Zidane to become the head of their club. According to the source, the French specialist is ready to sign a contract with the Parisians in the summer of 2022.

In Paris, they are not happy with the game of their team under Mauricio Pochettino, so they intend to get rid of the Argentinean. Besides, he is interesting for Manchester United.

Earlier, PSG received a refusal from Zidane, but the Frenchman accepted a second offer from the club, on better terms.

https://www.readfootball.com/pszh-smog-dogovoritsya-s-zidanom-na-ego-usloviyah-245771.html

From the start Zidane loved PSG and coincidentally his wife wanted to stay at Frances and didn't give him permission to go to Manchester United. So it is not strange when in fact Zidane will sign a contract with PSG. And on the contrary, Pochettino, who is being proposed by Ole, enters Manchester United. What will happen after this is really done? nothing else is worthy enough and Manchester United's reputation is on the cutting edge of choosing the right coach.
Just speculation only Zidane close agreement with PSG because Pochettino has one year later contract with PSG and still not any issues about his position not safe on PSG. I think depen what happen with PSG on champion league can qualify to final stage and get champion league trophy for the first time or not? Maybe if Pochettino failed make PSG can't pass to final his position is not safe.

I'm certainly not sure if PSG will win the trophy, even though their club is already filled with reliable, quality players and other expensive players. In addition, Pochettino achievements are still in question, with a contract for the next 1 year that will only lead PSG to not find a smooth ending.

He was very close to joining Milan last year. He has for sure the Ferguson manager style. Let's see he can survive at Ronaldo.

After all, he only has to outlive Ronaldo as coach for half a year Cheesy After that, by all accounts, Rangnick will be a top consultant for the club for two years. I think that was the original intention of ManU. Since they need a coach now, they have also hired him as an interim coach. Rangnick is certainly not as well known internationally, but he is very well connected. After all, it was he who made the Red Bull clubs so successful worldwide in the background and developed them into a money machine.

After all of the major speculations relating to the signature of Pochetino, Zidane Laurent Blanc, Valvadre, and Ajax current coach after the sack of Ole Gunner,Ralhf Rangnick was appointed as the interim coach of Manchester United.
Will he be able to improve the boys ??

Rangnick is prolly one of the most important figure in German football, if not the most important.  Klopp is influenced by Rangnick and so is Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann and a couple of other German managers.  Rangnick is also the originator of the ‘Gegenpress’..  Look it up and read about it then watch Liverpool matches and see it in action.

But yeah I get it.  He’s relatively unknown to people new to football.  But I’ll take Carrick to take over too and take it a notch higher...  Make him permanent manager for the entertainment value.  Cheesy

Wow , guess I am new to football then  Grin . That's amazing to know how influential he has been in german football. Now I would say it would be huge for United and hopefully that will improve performance of Manchester United after he starts working. Still I am still confused why interim manager then? Or they doubt him making him as in for more strong role? Zidane said that he would be taking a break for now so are they targeting him afterwards?

Life, Love and Laughter...
I think Manchester should be able to provide an opportunity for Carrick to show his capacity as an interim coach before they find a permanent coach in the future.
Carrick was stepping up to the role already, dishing out a hot suit to match the status of the MUFC coach. we already saw a significant better play from Manchester United's last champions League game, he should have been given a little more time IMHO to the end of the season to proove himself worthy. I'm looking forward to MUFC's game this weekend with gladiator Chelsea, will love to see the tactics that Carrick will dish out against Chelsea, I am certain it will not be an easy game to win MUFC unlike when the team was still under Ole.

I also prefers Man Utd allowing Carrick to continue with the job as an interim manager till the end of this season, who knows he might spring a surprise and manage the team well, he may have his own tactical formatioms that can revive the team, rather than appoint the relatively unknown Rangnick, though EPL matches is yet to reach mid season, Carrick should have been accessed after managing 10 matches before the management taking any decision to appoint an interim manager, however the decision had already been take I wish the new manager good luck on his appointment.

rather than appoint the relatively unknown Rangnick

Maybe for you, he is "relatively unknown" but he is one of the most important figures in German football. Klopp and Tuchel work according to his model, in a way, he is their teacher.

"Jurgen Klopp on Ralf Rangnick: “Unfortunately a good coach is coming to England, to Manchester United! He’s a really experienced manager, built two clubs from nowhere”.
“Man United will be organised on the pitch. That's obviously not good news for other teams”.

We all know that is Ronaldo a big professional, and to be diligent. it will not create any problem if the new way of working will bring good results. To be honest it can't be worst than the last two months.
I am more curious about Pogba, he is a lazy undisciplined guy, how he will endure such a serious change.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills

But we have to see from the Chelsea vs Man United match whether Carrick is able to overcome it if it comes to a win then I think Carrick will be better than Rangnick who is the current candidate, but that's what many say that Carrick still has no experience but I think if he is still given time with a few games to go so he will probably do his best in terms of formation and also the strategy of Man United's game.
For me, the important key for Carrick must be to beat Chelsea to prove to the management that he is worthy of being a manager.

Whenever talk about renewing Osmane Dembele contract approaches, news of his departure enters the line. Last season was sponsored by Man United, and today the destination is Newcastle, which according to the press meets the player’s financial requests. In my opinion, Dembele must express his desire immediately because it is a lack of appreciation to continue playing with the team he believed in despite being physically destitute and offered him a salary He does not deserve half of it, and on top of this, Xavi confirmed his great dependence on him, and then he goes out to want to leave for free.
In accordance with recent news reports, FC Barcelona has offered Ousmane Dembélé a new contract that he is unhappy with. The midfielder's contract with Barcelona expires this summer and he will become a free agent. Newcastle are interested and are prepared to offer 15 million euros a year with a signing bonus of 15 million. F.C. Barcelona cannot compete with Newcastle on financial terms. Stay at Barca if you want to play for a big club and win titles. If money is your motivation, go to Newcastle.

Dembele must decide once and for all what he wants to do with his career, it's just similar with the situation of Paul Pogba in Manchester United, I believe when a player isn't having the best time in a club and he feels he wants to move elsewhere, then it's better to do it immediately, there is no need wasting time, keeping your club hanging and not knowing what your final decision is going to be. In my opinion, I do not think Dembele should sign a new contract with Barcelona, he hasn't been playing well since he moved to Barcelona, maybe a change of club is what his career needs to start moving forward again.

Reported from the news a few minutes ago that Manchester United have been eyeing Ralf Rangnick the Lokomotiv Moscow coach for the interim coach of Manchester United for the rest of the season, is this sure? I think in my opinion Carrick also deserves to be the interim coach compared to Ralf Rangnick who was brought in from Lokomotiv Moscow.
Even this is under discussion until now, maybe the Man United management trusts other coaches more than Carrick.

I honestly want Carrick to take that position but honestly the fans right now are quite brutal so it is much better for someone else to take the blame for the rest of this season. There is a lot of expectation from the fans for Manchester United to atleast take top 4 or to win the UCL and honestly, Carrick might not be suited yet for this.

Well atleast not for now so instead of letting Carrick take the blame for unsatisfied fans because of the team's performance, I'd rather have someone else take it atleast until this season end. We had a bad start this season and I wouldnt even expect alot this season

You’re a Liverpool fan wanting to see United hit rock bottom, are you?  Cheesy

And it’s not about the fans being ‘unsatisfied’ and that there’s high expectations from the fans...  Here’s the thing, Man United is one of the biggest clubs in the world in terms of being a football team and in terms of being a company.  Go to Transfermarkt and check how much they’ve spent on transfers for the past couple of years.  United performing at par to the quality of the squad is only fair to the fans.

@tokeweed I’m a Manchester United fan, but I don’t want Carrick in the managerial role, I would prefer if he leaves Old Trafford gets more experience and then comes back to coach us. Also Ralf will an upgrade for us and he’ll lay good foundation for the next coach, plus he’ll also join as a consultant consultant which I’m sure will help us improve in the long run.

It's now German coaches in the top four teams in English premier league.
Will the recent Manchester United interim coach achieve success as that of Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, Thomas Tuchel ?
Will he bring balance back to old Trafford ?

I agree, the mood was different with the team, and the guys played cautiously against Villarreal because of several defensive drawbacks, but overall it was a better performance which reflected on what the manager wanted to achieve. Given more time Carrick would have patched the team back to winning ways but it seems the board and whoever is calling the shots didn't want this and brought in a replacement to manage the team.

Chelsea will have United for breakfast! These guys are in good form and if united dont play collectively at the back this will be another 5-0 or something but depending who is fielded a different result should come through.
