So what do you think about Dani Alves rejoining Barcellona at the age of 38?

I mean he is a legend, a good player for the locker room but how he can be a good player is his role at his age?

He will probably cost 6m€/y to Barca, do you think is a good move?

I think so better for Sterling looking for new club after Jack Grealish coming to Manchester City left winger position take from Raheem Sterling, I think many club will interested with Sterling sign's because he has great left winger and still on the top performance but most important club can contract him with four or five years later because he stull on gold age. Xavi Hernandez as new barcelona coach interested with Sterling but depend can Barcelona pay with higher salary want by Sterling or not.
If you follow City's games closely, you'll know that Sterling has been really poor anytime he plays this season, I know he has been used sparingly, but anytime the manager decides to play him, he doesn't perform well, I know Sterling has been brilliant for Manchester City for a couple of seasons now, but he has lost form and in football that can happen, but don't expect to get too much game time unless you can work had and get back to good form again. Having said that, I have also not been impressed by new signing Jack Grealish's performances, I think he isn't doing enough to justify the 100 million spent on him, but for now he is just slightly better than Sterling and that's why he is ahead of him in the pecking order; I think it's much better for Raheem to stay at City and fight for his place in the team, he could move elsewhere and things wouldn't still go well.

It was reported that Sergio Aguero's health was worse with the disease he was suffering from, namely, the heart and the team of doctors said this was unexpected because Aguero's heart condition was more severe so it was confirmed that Aguero was forced to retire early to save him from adversity, so this is really a very serious thing. This is concerning considering Aguero is a striker who used to be sharp.

Maybe since this news, Aguero will retire, right?

I also read this news, unfortunately he doesn't have much choice, he will have to stop playing, a guy with his talent will have to forcibly retire due to a serious illness, he must be inconsolable at the moment, players play for love and then he comes the money. if they don't play, they become like a wingless bird.

I think this is a really stupid move bringing Dani Alves back to Barcelona,he is just too old and Xavi is absolutly making a big mistake with this move. I know he wants an experience older player but Dani Alves is too old to play on this level. Barcelona does everything not to waste money i guess.
But, Barcelona has confirmed this sensational Dani Alves return.

We don't know what Xavi's next plans are for his team. However, it is clear that Xavi has encouraged the club to bring back the 38-year veteran defender to return to Barcelona. And this is a deal.
yes, I think so, he is too old to enter the club.
but I'm not sure if Xavi didn't think about it or consider it. Surely he still sees that Alves still has enough strength to be part of a club that can rebuild its glory. And maybe he did it because he saw a possible match between Dani Alves and other players. Of course, other new players will still be needed to strengthen the club.

Dani Alves is the first transfer target after Xavi took office in Barcelona. Alves, whom we watched with the Brazilian national team in the last Olympic games, has been known as the best right-back in the world for years. He could spend one last season at Barcelona before retiring. It would be a very logical move for Barcelona, which has financial difficulties. Both sides gain from this, win-win situation. It would be interesting to see ex-teammates at the same team again, which have manager and player roles now.
Dani Alves was my great defender back then but for now he is old and has reached 38 years whereas Xavi wants Dani Alves as main full back, I always question why Xavi wants Dani Alves whereas other easier players are better than the old one, maybe because there used to be a match between the two when they were still playing?

I don't know if considering the financial problems, it really has to be economical, even though it's old but it might still be the right one for Xavi.

I am also like you, not so sure about Xavi's decision to bring Dani Alves back to Barcelona, because Dani Alves is now very different from Dani Alves
who brought Barcelona to win many trophies. Since moving to Sao Paulo I haven't seen how Dani Alves play, but at 38 years old, I think Dani Alves is
not as fast as it used to be, there must be a decline in performance. But with Barcelona's financial crisis, I also can't blame Xavi's decision to bring
Dani Alves back to Barcelona. Xavi had to think hard about how to strengthen the Barcelona squad without spending big money, one of the steps was
to bring in Dani Alves. Hopefully Xavi's decision is correct, Dani Alves can contribute to Barcelona again. At least the positive thing with the joining of
Dani Alves, this will establish good communication between Xavi and Dani Alves, because both of them used to be teammates.

bad news but I already suspected that he had a serious heart disease during his last game, it would be very bad if he continued playing and it would be better to retire for his health, actually I am very impressed with the skills he has but a sports player should have a healthy performance

Well I agree Sergio should stop for his own good and health which he needs to prioritize over forcing himself to play in conditions that would not be favorable at all.

This decision he must have taken, because his club will certainly not give him a chance for their players who are sick. Moreover, the heart is a fatal disease in the field.
I hope he really recovers.

Even if he recovers his age doesn't support it either I suspect this is one of the reasons Man City released Aguero on a free transfer barcelona who understand nothing buy it
Fortunately free transfers  barcelona avoid the ''wrong buy'' maybe it's time for Aguero to go from player to coach better than taking the risk

In Aguero's official tweet that he continues to follow the doctor's indications to continue to have his health checked for 3 months and even if he recovers there is not necessarily a chance to play himself at Barcelona, but Aguero said this would be a positive, hopefully all right.

So for 3 months he will be absent and continue to be monitored by a special team of doctors who treat him so I think he can recover but this will still affect his performance on the field, even Xavi can doubt it.

I quite agreed that their must be a cogent reason why Guordiola had been benching Sterling in their previous matches it can't be due to tactical formation maybe it's a personal issue between them, he was regular starter even in the last UCL final, however if Barca can sign him in January transfer window definitely he would be useful to their team being a player who always try to hold and take possession of the ball, he is also pacy player thus suit the fast type of Man City style of play I don't why he was benched.
There can be many reasons, in Manchester City there is a very strong competition and there is always someone you can put in the main team. Perhaps Sterling is now out of shape, or it was done on purpose by Guardiola, in order to keep the player on the bench for several matches and thereby further motivate him to play well so that the player would fight for his place in every match. Sterling is a calm player, I don't think he has any conflicts with Guardiola.

I don't think it's about any conflict with the manager of someone. Rather than it's about what is best for both the player and the team. I think it's simple because Guardiola as the manager won't seem to be on the bench and Sterling as a player wants more playtime. So it's best for both parties that Sterling looking looks for another club. As it is only 26 years old he needs more playtime in my opinion.

Considering the news source, it is said that Manchester City are willing to sell Raheem Sterling for around £45m. It is equal to around €52.6m now which is far below his market value now. His market value is €90m. If this claim turns out to be true, then I'm pretty sure that there will be quite a few big clubs on the line to have him for this much cheap price. Sterling is still 26 years old and he can contribute to the team that he goes a lot for many years.
The metro is a hotbed of rumors. I don't believe anything I read on this website; we all know how important Rahemm Sterling is to the City team, and I don't think they'll let him leave for this cheap; Rahemm is worth more than £46 million in his peak.

I think this is just another rumor to seek attention and I also don't believe that Raheem Sterling is gonna be sold for 46 million. He is obviously worth more than that. But in this case, as I am hearing that Raheem Sterling wants to leave Man City for more playtime, maybe Man City will consider selling him for close to 55 or 60. At first, this news was linked with Barcelona but I wonder how was your nice going to pay for the fees. And that's what raises the question.

It depends actually and right now there are lot of players in the squad and Raheem Sterling is one of the player who has been underperforming so I think he could be easily get sold here at a lower tag. He is also getting lesser no. of opportunities and City also has fresh group of players at that position and it is hard to keep your position with that. Question is who is interested in him and how much are they willing to pay for him.

This is one of the most shocking news for me to date. I did hear that Gerrard was interested in Aston Villa but didn't think that this rumor was really happening and Gerrard accepted this.
this will certainly be a hot spotlight for a while considering gerrard is considered a liverpool legend and of course the fans from liverpool will be very angry about this.
I'm actually not too focused on Astonvilla but for now I will follow its development because it will be very exciting I think.
Fans are understandable, of course. But I don't understand why they should be angry if they understand that they have a great coach - Jurgen Klopp at the head of the team. Gerrard let him better Aston Villa now to raise a little and set the pace of the game, and then you can go to Liverpool. And in the end, it's everyone's choice.)
even if what you say is true but there are some rules that can't be broken among fans, especially for those who are militant, one of them is to cross to their rivals in the EPL.
this is actually almost the same when some time ago when ronaldo was still at juventus and was predicted to be a city retainer, your fans immediately labeled him a traitor and some even burned CR7's jersey at that time.
and something similar like this is bound to happen for gerrard.

The problem is FIFA is thinking money, not football and I think that is the reason why the last world cup was in Russia and this one is going to be hosted in Qatar. When will look at the actual football-loving countries that could host the world cup we certainly don't think about Russia or Qatar at first.
It's now all about the biggest bidder, the fans, the country, the football-loving community, North America, and Africa - these are people who love the game, but it's now all about who pays and whose hotels and stadiums are bigger. Small countries are no longer a viable option. I knew he was done the moment VAR was implemented, 60 minutes was offered, and a World Cup every two years was proposed. What else am I going to watch when football gets ruined.

And I think there need to be some changes in the high-level personnel of FIFA for the betterment of the game.
FIFA, UEFA officials need overhauling.

It will be interesting to know where Lampard will go next after withdrawing from the hunt for Norwich City.

With boards getting restless when there is bad performance nowadays I am sure he will find one very soone and at least should be a target of some of the clubs. Still I think Norwich could have been a decent start to build a good experience.

The official announcement has been made! FIFA's proposal for a World Cup every two years has been opposed unanimously by all 20 Premier League clubs. It is great to see this opposed! Many people don't really like watching international matches. So, It doesn't make it better to have a tournament every two years.
With the way things are going, if players are given the opportunity to vote out international friendly matches or tournaments, they will gladly do so, and with the way FIFA is revising and changing football laws, our beautiful game will be gone sooner or later. The World Cup is less important and beneficial when it is played every two years. Scarcity increases the value of something. FIFA must be aware of this.

The problem is FIFA is thinking money, not football and I think that is the reason why the last world cup was in Russia and this one is going to be hosted in Qatar.
