Attention, tomorrow is a very nice game. UEFA Nations League semi-final match 1: Italy vs Spain. Italy is unbeaten for 37 games and has 3 wins and 3 draws with 7:2 goals in the first round. The game even takes place in Italy, so home advantage in front of 37,000 people in the stadium. If the Nations League is won for Italy after the European Championship, then they also qualify for the World Cup. On 07.10. Belgium plays against France. Also a great game, but my favorite is Italy.
Totally forgot that (silly) competition lol but we have some interesting matches between Italy - Spain and Belgium - France!
BTW this is the right topic dedicated to that league :

Koman's dismissal will cost Barcelona 12 million euros. Barselona doesn't have that kind of money at the moment. Plus, you need to invite a new one, and that also costs a lot. There are no good trainers available now. I don't think Xavi or anyone else will be able to change the situation at the moment. Although if you give Xavi time and do not demand titles from him this season and start building a team now, then next season he will have a fighting Barcelona.
Hiring Xavi in this situation is a bad idea because he is inexperienced and will cause a lot of problems for the team. The Barcelona team is full of old, injury-prone players who have won everything in their prime and only care about the money and they also have the younger players who have nothing and are unmotivated; they all perform below average because the burden of holding a team's bar is too much for them to handle. The team needs to be overhauled with a more experienced coach that can handle pressure coming in (Conte is the man)
Although Xavi Hernandez success on his club right now with Al Sadd SC I think is not guarantee he will be success to for Barcelona because with less star player and many regular player left Barcelona still nothing he can do. How ever less experience for Europe team maybe can make his career for Barcelona is not good option, but if Barcelona keep trying to ask him become the next Barcelona coach better give space for him to get star player.

I agree with you. Bringing Xavi now won't be a wise decision. What Barcelona needs now is an experienced coach who will start building a team starting now and go all-in for titles next season or maybe the one after that one. Also, the coach has to play a huge role in building the confidence back in the team. Barca has very good young blood in their squad, but they need to be motivated enough so that they can perform. Conte seems like a good option for these.

Exactly, and that's why Barca according to reports tried to give Xavi to manage Barca B squad. Appointment of new manager doesn't guarantee , it's just is change of tactics and strategies and that might work and they may not work as well. Barca also need a good leader who can lead them and protect their morale on the pitch and there is none in Barca team right now.
Appointing Xavi as a possible replacement for Koeman Xavi doesn't have any european managerial experience  wouldn't make any difference, managing an Arab based club is incomparable with european manager, the best for Barcelona is to look elsewhere in Europe for a much experienced manager,  though with less quality players in the team a good can make a difference, they might not win LaLiga but will be in a better position on  the table whether Xavi he is appointed in team B, had it been he had managed some clubs in europe it would have been easier just like Patrick Viera  the present manager of Crystal Palace,

It seems that Dušan Vlahović won't renew his Fiorentina contract.

He is a good young player and if you can't buy Halaand you must go for him.

In the race for him, we have Juve, Inter, Milan, Spurs for sure.

^  The return of Pep will be the only thing that could take them out of the rut as quickly as possible imho.  And even then, it would take years of rebuilding the squad and years of fixing whatever is going on at Barca behind the scenes.  I always go back to the Liverpool example...  Something which Man United is experiencing.

Yeah someone with good experience and technical mindset is what they are in dire need right now to lift them up. But I am sure Pep will not leave City until he gets them the CL so feels that Pep to Barca is not gonna happen unless somehow City sacks him and Pep also changes his mind and make a return to Barca.

Liverpool were very patient. After appointment of Klopp, they kinda had confidence on him and did transfers accordingly gave him time and right now inside that squad there are lot of players who have a winning mentality and lot of players with leadership qualities. They believe in their coach and their teammates and that is why they are the best right now. A team with best morale state. Barca on other hand has dropped on morale, no player with leadership, lost confidence on coach, and so and it is dragging them down. They need to make changes if they need to stop this otherwise it will be too late. Whoever the next man it will be , it will be hell of a job to pull the team back.

In a report circulating today, it is stated that Barcelona still has a large debt with other teams in terms of player transfers so far, and maybe this is what makes Barcelona current condition in quite a critical condition.
Details of Barcelona's debts to other clubs according to the report:
to:
1. Juventus for 39 million euros for the purchase of Pjanic.

2. Ajax Amsterdam for 48 million euros for the purchase of De Jong and Sergino Dest.

3. Liverpool for 13 million euros for the purchase of Coutinho.

Of course that is quite a lot of debt, especially now they have difficulty paying player salaries, So I don't think they're going to fire Koeman this season and have to pay quite a bit of money for the sacking.

Is there any news about Koeman?, did he really get fired?. I just think the high table meeting has the recommendation to recruit new head coaches of Barcelona like Xavy or another.
this situation Maybe not be the same with MU, Ole is strong, no one dared to fire him even without any title for a long time. we all know how the previous coach even got the title for MU, still, they get fired. exception for Ole, wtf.

According to news from Barca Universal, Barcelona have reached an agreement with Ten Hag, but it is reported that Ten Hag will officially coach Barcelona next season or to be precise in June 2022, so if the news is true, surely Koeman will likely continue to coach Barcelona until the end of the 2021 season/ 22.

It seems that Dušan Vlahović won't renew his Fiorentina contract. He was offered huge wages to stay, even he admitted that he thinks staying for a while is the best option for his career so I'm not really sure what happened in the last few weeks.

Apparently the contract was rejected and a new one won't be offered so he'll possibly leave in the January window, and if not then for sure during the summer.

From what I have seen, he doesn't look that great to me. Still, he's really highly rated.

The deal between Everton and Al Rayyan for James Rodriguez is complete, he passed his medical today as well. A really weird transfer, he was in Real Madrid a few years ago and started really well at Everton last season, he's fairly young and I did not expect he will end up somewhere in Qatar.

I always liked him as a player, but a lot of technically gifted players that do not really participate in the defensive part of the game end up at Qatar or UAE or USA too early.

I must say it's very sad. He would have provided a lot of support to the strikers at Everton like he used to when Ancelotti was there. Qatar can give him all the money but will he enjoy that football level? I really doubt it. I actually now wonder what's his impression of Ancelotti now that he kinda ditched him. I think Everton could have made still a great use of him but they rather chose to sell him out in order to save his wages. Still Everton have made some great transfers like Gray and Townsend.
That's the problem with lots of South America players when they reach their thirties, they look for easy life, they are less ambitious, their football performance drop, they follow the money to China or Qatar,I think is a shame because he is a good player,it would be nice seeing him play in the middle with Townsend and Gray at  the wings.

Most of the South Americans just chasing huge amount of money, when I think about this the player that comes across my mind is Oscar of Chelsea football club, such promising, full of talent and an exciting player ended up playing full-time in the Chinese league.
It's nothing but the cash of money, I ain't seeing no passion from him no more.

LA LIGA NEWS 2021/22 - FORMER TOTTENHAM AND PSG FULL-BACK SERGE AURIER COMPLETES FREE TRANSFER TO VILLARREAL

The Ivory Coast international has joined the Europa League winners on an initial one year contract, with the option of a further two seasons, after leaving Spurs last month. The defender has reunited with his former boss at Paris Saint-Germain, Unai Emery, and will also compete with former Tottenham team-mate Juan Foyth for a place in the team.

The additional position at the back is quite good for Villareal, especially since Serge Aurier is a free transfer player and without a club after meeting an agreement with Totteham Hotspur to end his contract early. Serge Aurier is a very good player both defending and attacking even Arsenal have an interest in this player, but Villareal is a challenge for him this season.

Watford's deal with Claudio Ranieri has been signed and sealed. He would be the new head coach of Watford. It was quick but I think they made a great choice because Ranieri has a really good track record (helped Leicester get their first EPL title win in 2015). Watford just have to give him time to work things out with the team since he's actually a really good coach.

That has to be good news for Watford,,, finally someone of a high caliber to lead them. I guess the only small problem here is that he is the head coach and not the manager, which in clubs these days become very important as it gives them full squad management tactics but not a single power to decide in buying the actual squad members.

EPL gets stronger every day!
