Transfer rumours:

Real Madrid prepared seven contracts to negotiate with Kylian Mbappe as they aimed to sign the France forward before the transfer deadline, but the Spanish giants are optimistic the 22-year-old will choose to join them from Paris St-Germain in 2022. In this way, it seems that Real did better because they will bring a very good player for free, while PSG will not get anything. I don’t understand PSG’s strategy here.

~snip~

PSG's strategy is simple to understand actually. They are aiming to make use of Mbappe as much as possible in his last season there. They have brought Messi to the team and they want Neymar-Messi-Mbappe trio to play in the Champions League. Their main goal is to win this title in this season. If they are successful on it, then it will be worth it for sure. Otherwise, they might regret it but still I don't think that they really care about his going for free. PSG are one of the richest clubs and that's why they don't care about the money.

In my opinion, PSG desire to win the champions league makes them rule out any losses that may occur next season, one of which is to keep mbappe this season, even though they know that they are likely to suffer a considerable loss because mbappe will leave with the status of free transfer, but even so, there is still a chance for PSG to persuade mbappe to want to extend his contract with PSG and that could happen if PSG can win many titles by implementing the MNM trio this season.
I think the reason why PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaïfi didn’t enter the deal of Christiano Ronaldo was prolly because he wanted Mbappe to stay. There’s Neymar, Lionel Meesi and Mbappé. They’re first team players, Ronaldo coming would’ve limited Mbappé's chances of playing and that alone could’ve seen him move to Real Madrid. I don’t know if they could’ve been able to handle the wage structure of these top players though but combing these forces would’ve been good for the champions league since it’s their target this season. PSG is a serious contender of the UCL trophy this season and if injuries do not set in, I don’t see any other team more prepared to win it than them. They’ve a very fearsome and sophisticated squad with a high level of experienced players. I hope they can blend well on time and win the UCL.

Arsenal are considering the possibility of signing Real sociedad player,Alexander Isak,in a potential future transfer to replace Alexander Lacazette, and Aubameyang. The swedish international is rated as one of the most complete young forward in Europe, and has netted 33 goals in 90 appearances for Real sociedad.

I've seen Alexander Isak live several times when he was playing for Dortmund, where he never managed to establish himself. In fact, he is a great talent who found his fortune in Spain after a stop in Tilburg. But I don't think he is made for English football. He is a relatively elegant and lanky striker who will have some problems with the rough English football, similar to the problems he used to have at Dortmund. He should stay in Spain.
I don’t know how Borussia Dortmund allowed Alexander Isak leave like that. One thing I know about the Club is there ability to capture Young stars and make them pro. He’s a young promising and intelligent player. He’s made his name in the first Eleven in Real Sociedad. He can perform excellently well in the English premier league. You may think a Striker's performance is based on body features? Peter Crouch, Peirre Aubameyang are not too bulky but they were giving double figures. Alexander Isak is a technically gifted striker that knows more about positioning and is also a striker that knows more about playing the ball around to his team. He makes couple of runs around the penalty area making the defender unbalanced.

They have been going unlucky so far. Last two seasons , they were have been unlucky with CL and last season they also weren't able to win the Ligue 1. IMO PSG wants to go all in and get results this time. They are building a good squad with experienced players which not only makes a good squad but also leads to development of other players who can follow these experienced players guidance.

It is official Mario Mandzukic announced his retirement. One less player on the free player.

This is the list of players without any team who they can join whenever they want outside the transfer market.

Source: https://www.transfermarkt.it/statistik/vertragslosespieler

There still quite a number of really decent players on that least to be honest, although their wages might be somewhat on the high, if not I guess some average teams can really make do of their services, at least for a short period..

I would have imagined Ribery has retired already, if not for this list.

PSG did not submit a formal bid for Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo despite holding discussions over a move for the 36-year-old before he left Juventus to rejoin Manchester United. Honestly, I’m sorry we won’t see Messi and Ronaldo playing together at the same club.

Maybe PSG didn't make an offer for Cristiano Ronaldo on purpose. Because we don't know how good this duo would be at the same. It is a really big risk for a team that already have one of these players. Some people say that they would be very good as for the teamwork but some don't. And it looks like we won't see what would happen at least for now. PSG are still very powerful having only Messi and they have a big chance to win the Champions League title.

Pjanic is going to Besiktas!

The transfer window is still open in Turkey, what an end for Miralem.
Just 3 years ago he was in a very good shape.

I wonder what happened to Pjanic because he used to be rated as one of the best midfielders at that time and was compared to the likes of toni Kroos and Modric but all that is story for another day. Anyway, Goodluck to him a Beşiktaş. It's not a bad club only that it's a small ones compared to the previous clubs that Pjanic used to play at. If he was still in Juventus, I feel he wouldn't have flopped. Same thing that happened to Greizman in Barcelona happened to him. Top of their game, made the transfer and lost form.

Originally the idea bringing Miralem Pjanic from Juventus to Barcelona was to play a big part and maybe rotating with Sergio Busquets. Busquests was already retarded and was having problem with fatigue and consistency. Under Massimiliano Allegri, he was perfectly deploy at a sitting midfielder in a flat 4-3-3 formation. But his time in Barcelona yielded no fruit as Koeman had worked out his team and preferred a midfield trio of Busquets, his country man Frankie De Jong and the talented youngster Pedri. Unarguably, Miralem has been a good player and has replicated that excellence anywhere he has played. I don’t know why Koeman couldn’t even feature him in the copa Del Rey games. He even accepted a pay cut towards the beginning of this season because he wanted to fight for his place, but Barcelona has to loan him out to Besiktas.

Last season Miralem Pjanic only played 19 times in Laliga. Neither goals nor assists he managed to book for his Barcelona team and that's what made Barcelona loan him out to other teams. Since signing from Juventus, I think he can help the barcelona midfield better. However, because the performance was not as expected, a loan decision had to be taken. His current market value has dropped to €20M and it is still possible to be bought by Besiktas if he contributes a lot to the team.

Pjanic is a great player he didn't get enough playing time last season, he came in as a substitute in most of the games he featured in last season, leaving Juventus was a great mistake but he had no choice it was a deal + a player from Juve for Arthur. Being included as part of a deal has gone well with any player who left their primary club. Moving to Basiktas is the beat for his career.

It was truly an incredible transfer. It is very surprising to hire such a great football player without paying any fee.
I think he will get used to the team in a short time and will perform very well. Beşiktaş has one of the best fan groups in the world, and Pjanic was pleased with the attention and love he has already received. He will enjoy playing in this team, and if he becomes a champion, he will become one of the legendary names for Beşiktaş Smiley

Actually pjanic was a pretty good player when he was still a juventus player, but I didn't expect his career to be ruined when he was bought by barcelona, during one season with barcelona pjanic only played 19 times in la Liga and of course it was a fairly short appearance for a player who bought quite expensive from juventus nyakni around 60 million euros.
I think if he can return to showing good performance during his time as an Besiktas player, of course it is possible that Besiktas will buy him permanently from Barcelona, but I have a little doubt that it will happen because Pjanic price of 20 million euros is quite expensive for Besiktas, especially Pjanic right now he's 31 years old and he's had a lot of injuries during this time too.

Nobody expected this transfer, Barcelona paid 60 million Euro for him and now we got him for free, no loan fee, no big wage, it's unbelievable. People are still in shock and can't believe this happened yesterday, we are waiting for his first game impatiently.

Grealish and Lukaku did have great performances at their previous clubs, so in the end they both became players with the most expensive transfer fees
this year well deserved. I hope that Lukaku and Grealish can directly contribute to their respective teams this season. Unfortunately for Mbappe and
Haaland failed to move this year, because both were not released by their respective clubs. Otherwise Mbappe and Haaland will break a much bigger
transfer record. There is one more name that was missed that could break the transfer record, that player is Harry Kane who also failed to move
this year, having found no agreement between Man City and Tottenham. But for next year only Mbappe can be obtained for free, after his contract
with PSG expires.
Players of lukaku and grealish were fortunate to hit the jackpot with the huge transfer fees to their respective clubs, following the games so far, one would say they have been so fun to watch with each assisting and netting goals for the new home clubs. We expect to see more active performance from them. Although same cannot be said for Mbappe, Kane and halland whose club couldn't get to agree with clubs gunning for their signatures this season but come January trust to see more rumored moves if these players are still at their best. It will be a thrilling thing to behold if it happens so.

Of course we all hope that Grealish and Lukaku can give their best performance, because the club that bought them spent huge sums of money.
So far Grealish and Lukaku have managed to score goals for their respective teams, hopefully they both can give good performances throughout
the season and can avoid injury. Regarding Mbappe, Haaland and Kane could indeed switch between them in the next transfer window.
Because these three players have skills that are in demand by many big clubs in Europe, very interesting indeed waiting for surprises that could
happen in the next transfer window. Especially Mbappe whose contract is ending soon, will most likely leave PSG.

Haaland already said that he won't transfer to Paris and I believe he sticks to his statement for now. Or his agent said it. But as we have seen, Real Madrid is also able to pay insane amounts of money. If they can offer 200 million for Mbappe, they can offer him a lot of money anyway. The fixed transfer fee of 75 million plus a huge salary could do it. I don't know if Haaland will go to Madrid though because that could mean that Madrid would want to buy both Mbappe and Haaland in a single year and I doubt that is possible for them financially. As there is also the salary cap now, that would surprise me if it is still possible for them. They might sell Benzema then.

I heard that Wolves were preparing a new contract for their right winger Adama Traore. They are planning this to end Liverpool's and Tottenham's interests in him. The deal might be around £120,000 a week. I understand Wolves also that they don't want to lose one of their important players. However, Adama Traore is still not that great actually. He is fast and strong. But he is terrible when it comes to shooting. I'm not sure whether Tottenham or Liverpool need a player like this now.

The Cr7 has always been a unique identity for Ronaldo but he would have opted for another number since cavani has it already but if cavani is willing to remit it to Cr7 willingly then the understanding is mutual. But if Ronaldo should go for no7 then cavani should be given 11 so the squad could fit in

Just in case you missed it, Ronaldo will  be handed back his legendary No. 7 at Manchester United which should be  motivation for him to go with and be in sync with his nickname CR7. But what I don't get is that jersey number was given to cavanni who is still a Manchester United player...maybe out of respect he agreed to give the number up for a double digit #21. Honestly this doesn't sit well for me,, no one player should be bigger than the club ,I feel bad for cavanni for him.
