Manchester United must be unhappy that Anthony Martial rejected the offer came from Lyon in the last minute.  Grin  I must admit that I really don't like Martial. He doesn't contribute too much to the team recently. He got only 7 goals and 9 assists in the last season. And this is not good enough for a striker. He wasted too many goal chances so far. He is not that qualified to deserve playing at Manchester Utd.

With Ronaldo joining the team's attack in the next couple of days, it would be hard for Ole to feature martial in any of the coming games. Since he has chosen to stay, they might as well use him as either a starter or a substitute for a much smaller tournament because I don't really see anyone in this man utd team that he can replace at the moment. His service delivery has been very poor increasing the need for him to look elsewhere for better opportunities or more playing time.

H
Martial is a very good player that can give a striker much assists in a season, that is what a personality like martial does on the field. If you expect so many goals from him,you make be making mistakes, becos Martial is not always good at scoring goals, but good at making assists, and contributing to goals. He opted to stay because he wants to play alongside Christiano Ronaldo in the team.
If Ole uses him well I believe Martial will prove himself at the club.

PSG owner made it clear to Mpabbe and Real Madrid that he was not going to make any move this summer and that they intend to extend his contract tbh this is an insane offer for someone with a few months left on his contract it only shows that PSG owner is not a man who values the relationship of his player he is just after the success of the team and not how the player's happiness. He doesn't care about money either.
Mbappe doesn't want to stay as he rejected contract extension offer. He will probably leave at the end of the season. He's still playing and scoring goals, even if he goes at the end of the season that doesn't mean he will not play and and give his %100. He's still playing his best football and now Messi comes he doesn't want to be outshined by him. That means he will play with his best performance, this is not about money or contract but about personal target. He's ambitious player, it's not surprising he wants Real and Real wants him but PSG can decide whether they sell him or not. PSG can take the risk about him leave for free at the end of the season, that doesn't mean they don't need money. Even if you have billions of dollars you still want that 200 mill, it's better than nothing. They are confident about his contract extension, we will see probably new offers until Winter transfer window.
As far as I know, despite Mbappe's great desire to move to Real Madrid and the details of his personal contract have already been practically agreed, Killian would not want to spoil relations with his current club and in any case should work out his contract with dignity. I think that the president of Paris Saint-Germain is taking a huge risk to let Mbappe go as a free agent at the end of the season in order to try the super-ties of Messi, Neymar, Mbappe in action during the season and try to achieve maximum results thanks to this. And the maximum result for the current Paris Saint-Germain is to win the Champions League, because the club has already successfully won all domestic national titles.

They have a very capable team now. With Neymar, Messi and Mbappe, there is no opponent which they can't beat technically.
I find Chelsea and ManU the most threatening teams for PSG in CL. Classically Bayern is a hard team full of surprises and City will face PSG in the group stage so we will have a better idea by the end of September. Imo PSG gonna get that trophy this year, betting for it to pass should be safe.
Otherwise with Griezmann on ATM, group B became more interesting to follow too!
Crazy transfer window this summer, PSG just refused to make it more weird by letting Mbappe fly to Madrid at the last minute for a fortune in very bad economic situation Roll Eyes

For them, 200m€ is like 5€/5$/5£ for us, nothing at all.
Damn can't Chievo Verona borrow 5 bucks from them to avoid dissolving the team Lips sealed

PSG doesn't need money, the owner of PSG is Qatar investment, they have over 330 $ Billion.

According to Goal.com, Real Madrid offered even the amount that PSG wanted from them at the beginning (€220m). But PSG still turned down the offer. It looks like they have already run the risk of losing him for free. Because PSG really want to achieve the Champions League title in this season. They have a very capable team now. With Neymar, Messi and Mbappe, there is no opponent which they can't beat technically.

I assume that Real Madrid will offer a contract to Mbappe in January and Mbappe will join the team in the next summer.

First of all, Barca didn't sold Griezmann, they loaned him to Atletico. Also, Barca can't afford to buy players now, so, they loaned de Jong from Sevilla. I agree that this transfer doesn't looks good, but it's reality of Barca now.
So, what we have in offense - Memphis, legendary Braithwaite, always injured Aguero and Dembele, not good enough for Sevilla de Jong and some kids. Barca fans, brace yourselves, winter is coming.
Loan + option to buy for €40m at the end of the season after selling to Barcelona for €120m last season only to get him back at this cheap is a bargain to Atletico Madrid and lost to Barcelona, the entire Barcelona board is in shambles buying high and selling them out after a season with high salary wages putting the club into unnecessary debts.
Griezmann has been faced with several criticism over the years since his arrival in Barcelona. Not forgetting the fact that in his two seasons at the Camp Nou he made 102 appearances, in which he scored 35 goals and 17 assists. But I think Atletico Madrid did a serious game on Barcelona. Barcelona got Griezmann for 120m from Atletico Madrid, Atletico bought Joao Felix with the money. Took Luiz Suarez for free and won the La Liga with them. Griezmann made Barcelona couldn't keep up with Meesi's wages, so he had to leave. And now Griezmann is back on loan to Atletico with an option to buy for 40m. They did a whole lot of damage to the Catalonia club.

Griezzman deal is a bit cheeky because it is a loan deal and not really worth 60 million, but even paying 100% of griezmanns salary is a huge deal. Barcelona got rid of 100+ million dollars in salaries this year and I know they are a lot worse now compared to last year that's true and they will need to rebuild the team from ground up again, there are also some old players as well that they will need to replace.

However this much money saved just in one off-season will make sure that they are doing perfectly fine in the future. Think about how much money Barcelona will have now, 100 million a year means that they could buy one haaland level player or mbappe level player every 2 seasons, and those are the biggest names out there right now. They could get good players like 1-2 each season as well. This is going to be start of something amazing if they are smart with their money.

Look funny with window transfer on this time because many player move from one club to other club with loan and not deal transfer yet, I think financial crisis faced with pandemic make many club looking for good solution how to get new player with loan. Very sad for Barcelona miss all great forward from Messi until last Grizmann left Barcelona and back to other his club Atletico  Madrid with loan and buy back on last season.

Not a bad decision for Barcelona to sell Griezmann to any club, The problem in my opinion is selling Griezmann and replacing him with Luuk de Jong (Sevilla player), this is very ridiculous in my opinion. Are Barcelona out of their minds to buy quality strikers? Even Luuk De Jong didn't play well enough at Sevilla Cheesy

Thank you for your opinion, I know that they loaned Griezmann to Atletico and loaned Luuk De Jong from Sevilla, maybe it was just my way of conveying that was wrong Wink BTW, how confident are you that Barcelona can place in the top 3 of the standings this season? In the last minutes of the transfer window, Chelsea finally managed to loan Atletico Madrid's 26-year-old midfielder Saul Niguez. He played for 41 games in the last season and got 2 goals and 1 assist. He is a good midfielder and I believe that he will be really useful for Chelsea. If they like his performance, they might think of signing him permanently.

Saul Niguez is a pretty good player. It was a very good transfer decision for Chelsea. They added a football player who plays in a position they need, without having to pay a lot of money.
Their midfields are much stronger now, in case of injury or something like that, it won't be too much of an issue within the team. Niguez is a key player and he will be very valuable to the team even if he doesn't contribute to the score

Could Griezmann play the striker role?  Cos I thought he was more of a striker than a winger...  And I was under the impression that Barca acquired him as a mid term replacement for Suarez at the time.

Could he have been an option for City?  coinlocket$?  What do you think?
It was unlikely for City, they were obsessed with Ronaldo, and besides, they hardly thought of looking for a backup if they failed to sign Cristiano. So at that point, City were out of the running for Griezmann. I didn't think at all that he could return to Atletico and stay to play for Barcelona, but... Now he will play with Suarez again, maybe something good will come out of this duo at Atlético.

A. Griezman is the only one who has changed within the league - all the others have also changed the country

That's because nobody others had any interest on him except for Atletico. Diego Simeone did stated earlier that he would be happy to work with Griezmann again as he has good relation with him. It is also a good for Barca as they got free from the wages that they were giving him. He was the top earner in Barca after Messi if I am not wrong.

PSG cannot stop buying players even in the last day lol! They have already 37 players, -€74m... They are all in CL this year, the Qatari owner gonna have a heart attack if they fail to win it Tongue
The best thing happened in the final day is to see Griezmann returning to his home, now both him and Suarez can claim again the title Grin

Al-Khelaifi quite successful to built a world class squad, his all efforts might be pointless if this team remain unsuccessful as before. By any means this business man wants to win Championship. The craziest transfer window award goes to PSG. At last Griezmann takeoff lead one more red sign for Barca fans. This summer transfer window will remain everlastingly throughout the entire existence of football history.

Valencia has rented two newcomers.

The club has reached an agreement with Getafe on the loan of the 21-year-old striker Hugo Duro. The agreement also contains a player buyback option.

Last season, the Spaniard played on loan for Real Madrid Castilla, where he became the team's top scorer.

Also on loan until the end of the season, Leeds' Portuguese midfielder Elder Costa has joined the 27-year-old.
