It's really sad that Olmo joined a team that near of bankruptcy and Barcelona is not the strongest team, they're struggle to win La Liga and will never win Champions League anymore. The 6 years contract is too long, I believe Olmo will regret to sign this contract because he's already 26 years old, it means he need to wait till 32 years old if he want to join other team.

The thing is Barcelona never want to sell their players at cheap, they always demand ridiculous fees.
The decision has been made, now he is officially a Barcelona player, whatever the consequences are he is ready to bear if something unexpected happens in the future. Barcelona is trying to bounce back after failing to win a trophy last season, I think the actions taken by Barcelona are very reasonable because they want to return to glory in La Liga and the Champions League. As long as Barcelona qualify for the Champions League, they still have a chance to win the trophy as long as they are able to show their best performance.

It's not that Barcelona never sells players at low prices, Griezmann was sold to Atletico for a bargain price and several other players were also released on free transfers. Maintaining the selling value is very reasonable for a club to do, Bilbao also did the same thing when an offer came for Nico William.

🚨🔴 Liverpool are exploring move for Martin Zubimendi as new midfielder, as there’s €60m release clause into his contract.

Talks will follow between clubs and on player side.

Let’s get this done, would be a great signing.

Saying that you didn't expect Manchester City to allow Julian Alvarez leave the club this summer is surprising to me. For a striker with the Alvarez's qualities, keeping him in a club where he'll be playing second fiddle to Erling Haaland is same as limiting him from reaching the peak of is potentials.

Haaland is just way better than him and is going to be 1st choice for Pep so yeah he wont really get that spot that he wants. As a striker, he needs all the playtime that he could get although he is probably like top 5 players on Manchester City last season with decent playtime.

The shocking part for me is that not really about him leaving because I kinda predicted that he would leave anytime sooner but the most shocking part is that City would let him go without signing a replace for him yet. So far aside from Savinho, they havent sign anyone else. They got the money, they could pretty much sign anyone that they want at this point so its kinda shocking

They're take it one step at a time. Bringing back a one time La Ma Sia product is such a good one. They did whatever they had to do to see him returning. This is currently a done deal as we're talking and he has passed his Barcelona medical fully. I watched him closely during the European Championship, I'm well aware of his capabilities and what he brings into Barcelona.

He will have a good link with Robert Lewandoski which was lacking last season. Hansi Flick is a tactical genius, he knows how to bring the best outta Robert Lewandoski.
Next season, I'm not so sure of Barcelona dominating in La Liga, but I'm sure they'll be a great challenge unlike last season. One more player to see joining would be Nico Williams next season. I love how Barcelona prepare Spainish players for the next Fifa World Cup Competition.

I didn't expect Manchester City to actually release their star player Julian Alvarez this summer to Spanish club Atletico Madrid with a transfer agreement of 75 million euros with an additional 20 million euros I mean 95 million euros is a very large amount but Atletico Madrid agreed to Man City's wishes because I saw Atletico Madrid really wanted this player.
Julian Alvarez is one of Man City's crucial players who is actually a valuable asset just like Phill Foden, Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne but it seems that the player wants to try a new challenge playing in the Spanish Laliga until finally he is willing to leave I think he can be Atletico Madrid's mainstay next season.

Good move for Julian Alvarez.

One by one Manchester City has released their talented young players to other teams, Previously, Manchester City released Palmer to Chelsea  which is actually Manchester City rival club in the english league, Releasing Palmer last season was a big mistake in my opinion because currently Palmer  has developing very well in Chelsea, as well as Julian Alvarez, who will most likely also develop rapidly at Atletico Madrid in the future.

So far, Julian Alvarez has continued to be a super sub in Manchester and has been able to show quite good performances although he has often come on as a substitute, Atletico Madrid see bright prospects in Julian Alvarez in future so make they don't hesitate to buy Alvarez with their current record of expensive purchases, indeed, Alvarez is a crucial player, but unfortunately he hasn't had much time to get the opportunity to play in  Manchester City so far and made him choose to leave.

Barcelona got a great deal on Dani Olmo. Olmo is a better player than Nico Williams because he can play anywhere on the front line. This makes him a useful tool against strong teams like Real Madrid. This player can also play as a wide or even a false nine. He's not just an attacking midfielder. This flexibility is very important for a club that is having money problems but still needs to stay ahead of the competition

Getting Olmo until 2030 isn't just a deal; it's an investment in a player who can do a lot of different things. He's Flick's secret weapon; a player whose uncertainty could make or break El Clasico. Even though Mbappe plays for Real Madrid, Olmo is a strategic tool for Barcelona. He can break down defences and make things chaotic on the pitch

Barcelona directors are currently discussing a deal to bring Dani Olmo to Barcelona, a guaranteed €55 million package plus €7 million in add-ons, with a 6-year contract and Dani Olmo has agreed,

Barcelona are now showing their readiness to take La Liga seriously with new ammunition,

we'll see what game Dani Olmo will show in La Liga, if all agreements are met

Dani Olmo is a great signing. I appreciate their move.  Smiley  I wish they were able to sign Williams as well but it seems much less realistic from now on even if he announces his desire to sign for them. Now the thing I'm curious about his at what position Olmo is going to play there. I mean normally his natural position is AM you know.

However Barcelona prefer a 4-3-3 formation without an AM. As Olmo can play as a winger too, maybe we can see him on the left wing. It would be better than playing as CM considering potential big score contribution by him.

To be frank with you, Man City never gave this player the much time he needed that was the main reason he left the side and if you check out this very player he deserves more than what Haaland is getting base on playing time, he (Alvarez) can score goals, hustle to get the ball and his contribution to the team is epic, not to talk of his free kick ability, with all these, why on earth is he not suppose to start always ahead of Haaland? Pep Guardiola is the reason this player left and putting Mbappe, Victor Osimhen and Haaland together he is the best amongst the 3 players I mentioned but my problem is the club that got him.
ATM is like a military team, they are not that flexible and their style of play has always been a particular pattern which is defend defend and I don't think it will match with this player Alvarez. He can manage but I'd prefer if clubs like Arsenal or even the Red Devils got him, because they seem to play a little bit better if not better than Atletico Madrid but I'm not writing them off yet, there could be a sudden change in the way they play, let's find out next season and from all that went down it would be a loss to Manchester City because the just let go a much better player.

This is not a great signing by Barcelona, but i'd rather call it a big loss for this club. And Barcelona never learned from their mistakes. In 2014, Olmo was part of Barcelona. They let him go for free. Now, Barcelona wants to pay 55 million plus bonuses to get him back.
That's pretty obvious Barcelona never learns from their mistakes. That's a typical Barcelona's business school. Also, it's not realistic to push Barcelona to sign Nico from Bilbao as well.

Barcelona must also care with their financial too. And this transfer is too much of a gamble by Barcelona.

It won't work. Olmo's clearly a better player playing in the middle, and i totally disagreed with it to put him on the left. Finding a natural left winger could save money and fit better. Why force an ill-suited player into that role? It doesn't even make sense if you still pushes him to play on the left.

Dani Olmo is as creative as Nico Williams. In the Euros that Spain just won, he was a part of he reason they had a breakthrough in games that were really tough. If Hansi flick still decides to play him from the middle, he will still do well. Barcelona have a pretty decent squad, and they should be able to compete against Real Madrid in the coming season. Pau Victor is another promising player for Barcelona in this new season, three goals in the preseason plus an assist.
Finally, Barcelona reach agreement deal with RB Leipzig for signing Dani Olmo and Barcelona agreed for paying around €60million as fees transfer. Can't believing with difficult financial problem but Barcelona success reach agreement deal for the first signing this season and spending much money to get Dani Olmo's sign from RB Leipzig.

Barcelona have many option after success signing Dani Olmo can play well for left winger position or Hansi Flick can put him as second striker and attacking midfielder. First players expectation by fans already signed by Barcelona and they are waiting second target for releasing transfer to get Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao.
Will this time Barcelona's activities transfer success or Dani Olmo will get underperform as most expensive transfer player did by Barcelona in this season?

Pau Victor scored 20 goals with Barcelona B last year. Let's keep this statistic in mind. Because he can perform similarly in La Liga this year. Barcelona is a team that has always taken good players from the youth academy. The biggest example of this is Lionel Messi. I don't know if Messi will come again, but recently, Pau Victor will be added to quality players like Pedri, Gavi, Yamal. Barcelona is living every team's dream right now. They are currently seeing the reward of the value they gave to the youth academy in the past years.
at the age of 22, Pau Victor stole the attention in the pre-season event, especially for Hansi Flick because on paper he has a great chance of entering as a player who will have more playing time next season.

It is undeniable that the quality of the academy players born by Barcelona has always been a concern and has been able to pursue a brilliant career. So next season Blaugrana will still be a team that can compete with Real Madrid, regardless of their financial problems, Barcelona players have high loyalty to the club. This loyalty is Barcelona advantage not many players want to stay in the club's financial situation.

I wonder if Barcelona could afford the required money to pay for Olmo without going on financial problems again? or does the agreement include paying the amount on several years? I could not understand the way they are dealing with transfers.
It is sure that Olmo will help them compete Real Madrid which is well equipped with Mbappe moving there. It will be an interesting season Cheesy

Barcelona managed to add new players. This means that Barcelona is getting better to compete for the La Liga title with Real Madrid. I read two rumors from Fabrizo Romano and Mundo Deportivo, the total contract value is the same, which is 62 million euros, only the details are different. It seems that Barcelona and Madrid are still an interesting discussion regarding transfers. But it seems that Madrid's transfer has stopped I have read that, they are not looking for players anymore in this transfer season.

Well, finally there is a rumor for Liverpool and I hope they can seriously bring him in this time. Smiley

It is reported that Liverpool are currently approaching Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, but the Reds must pay a clause of 60m euros if they want to sign him. It seems that it is not an easy matter because it is a lot of money for Liverpool and I doubt they can pay it.

However, I think there will still be a way if the negotiation process goes well between the two parties and the player. Here Liverpool are really trying for this transfer to happen, especially since they do not have any new strength ahead of the upcoming season so this is very necessary to maintain the stability of their performance.

Could Martin Zubimendi be the right choice? because the 25-year-old player has played very well with Real Sociedad so far and is also one of the important players.

Hansi Flick can make tactical changes during the match. Because of these tactical changes, Olmo will be there as a wild card player. Even if he starts the match as a winger, his formation can change during the match. Such quality players have decreased. Most players have fixed positions. Since the number of players playing in multiple positions has decreased, they are more valuable now. That's why I think Olmo transfer is more valuable than Nico Williams transfer.
