newcastle have a new young player, this is a great opportunity for william osula to play in the top tier of the premier league, and a chance to continue to improve his performance in the future.

he is a talented young striker, hopefully newcastle fans will welcome this young player well, and I hope the club will give the danish player some playing time

I don't see anything surprising from William Osula statistics, he was brought in from Sheffield United, which club returned to League 2 because it was unable to compete in the EPL competition. Based on the 2023/24 season, the total of 21 matches he played with Sheffield United was 0 goals, 0 assists and collected 4 yellow cards. Maybe in Eddie Howe hands he will be tried as an experiment to carry a new concept that is much more suitable. Newcastle United last season experienced many setbacks finishing in 7th position while in the 2022/23 season they were in 4th position, even in the UCL they were eliminated earlier. Newcastle United has stable finances to bring in star players but until now there have been no surprising transfers in preparation for the League which will start soon.

https://www.transfermarkt.com/compared-to-diego-costa-who-is-20-year-old-chelsea-transfer-target-samu-omorodion-/view/news/439306

Chelsea wants to sign this youngster Omorodion. He is such a tall player but really fast at the same time. His quickness can be a good advantage of course. He is good in the air as well. He is compared to Diego Costa but it is hard to tell something about it already now. If he improves his skills continually then who knows maybe he can be a striker like him.  Smiley

However I wish Chelsea targeted a way more reliable striker now. Because they would really make use of one immediately. They can't trust Jackson yet considering his performances so far.

Barcelona got a great deal on Dani Olmo. Olmo is a better player than Nico Williams because he can play anywhere on the front line. This makes him a useful tool against strong teams like Real Madrid. This player can also play as a wide or even a false nine. He's not just an attacking midfielder. This flexibility is very important for a club that is having money problems but still needs to stay ahead of the competition

Getting Olmo until 2030 isn't just a deal; it's an investment in a player who can do a lot of different things. He's Flick's secret weapon; a player whose uncertainty could make or break El Clasico. Even though Mbappe plays for Real Madrid, Olmo is a strategic tool for Barcelona. He can break down defences and make things chaotic on the pitch
After having too much bad news and troubling time Barcelona can feel better because they are having Dani Olmo who is surely going to be had good impact on their performance in coming season because he is capable of playing on few spots which were not working for them, and they are feeling no comfortable but arrival of Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig for the price of €55 million can give relief with fans will be also feel better.

With this high price having six years contract mean this is going to be good package and Hansi Flick is surely now having something to cheer for his start of this job where things were not on track, and they were feeling tense for not having fresh players because now it's time for them to have changes and bringing quality players can give them good challenging time for title race.

Thus, Dani Olmo will return to Barcelona after leaving the club at 16 to join Croatian football giants - Dinamo Zagreb. On Barcelona's side, in the context of debt and a dense midfield, the determination to recruit Olmo is being questioned. I know he is also a player with a high ability to break through and be ready to drop back to defend when needed, a complete midfielder that coach Hansi Flick will love. Playing with both feet also helps the Spanish star play well in any position the coach requires. How Olmo is used will depend entirely on Hansi Flick, as a new signing, Olmo may have to move to the wing and compete fairly with Raphinha.

But when reading about Dani Olmo's injury history, the Nou Camp team should be more worried when in just 2 seasons, he had to miss 49 matches due to knee problems. This transfer has not been well received by Barcelona fans. Aside from his long injury history, I think Barcelona is wasting money as they already have Pedri and Fermin Lopez in the attacking midfield.

There are basics that need to be fixed, more like put into place. Barcelona have more problems to fixed and it's really going to be a long run for the Blaugrana, the European top leagues are mainly for the elite clubs. Barcelona will persuade for the best players in the transfer window. We don't expect Athletic Bilbao to allow Nico Williams to exits the club because it was probably not an intended move for the club. Nico Williams is a vibrant young talent and moving to Barcelona seems possible in the nearest future but definitely not now.
Exactly, they have more problems at hand that needs to be attended to first but that doesn’t mean they will not show interest when they see a fine talent. If they don’t get Nico Williams now and he performs well again this coming season then his price is likely to go higher andd might be difficult for Barcelona to get him especially with the financial crisis they are in and also when other top teams join the race then it will be almost impossible for Barca to compete. Nico and Yamal on both wings for Barca will make the team more lively and dangerous. I believe they will play well under Hansi Flick.
Unfortunately, fixing Barca's financial problems will take a very long time and getting Nico Williams is one of those things that will never happen.
I agree with you that waiting at least 1 or 2 seasons to get Nico Williams is not one of the best ways because Nico Williams' talent is very good and the club that owns this player will definitely develop his talent to increase the market value of the player and become a very expensive young player.
Unless there is a reasonable agreement that Athletic can accept to release the young player.
Imagining if Yamal and Nico Williams could play together would certainly be very profitable but that is just a dream for Barca.

Gasperini spoken yesterday and he basically said that Koopermeiners will be a Juventus player very soon.
He wanted to kept the player but the player "refused" even to train for joining his next team.

Liverpool also tried to get the player but he wants to land in Turin.
Koopermeiners is the next target to be recruited by Juventus and to get him, Motta is even willing to give Arkadiuz Milik to facilitate the transfer, currently it seems that Koopermeiners is no longer comfortable staying in Atlanta and most likely wants to continue his career at a bigger club at this time, he So far, they have been able to become a mainstay of Atlanta and last season Koopermeiners had a very important role in the midfield in helping Atlanta win the European League.
Next season, Atlanta will play in the Champions League, but if you look at the squad they have, of course they probably won't be able to say much and maybe that is the reason for Koopermeiners want to move now when he received a fantastic offer from juventus, the injury that scamacca suffered a few days ago requires atlanta to look for another striker at this time and maybe they will consider accepting juventus offer to exchange players between Arkadiuz milik + money with Koopermeiners.

Koopermeiners stats in atlanta :

I was quite surprised by the steps Barcelona took. They should know very well that there is not much of a budget that they can spend, and for that, they must use it wisely. But strangely, Barcelona prioritized Dani Olmo over Nico Williams. I'm not saying Dani Olmo is a bad player, it could even be considered that Dani Olmo is at his best, but what Barcelona needs is not him because they already have many good players for that position, it could even cause disharmony because someone will be left out.
Overall of course this doesn't make sense with the attitude taken by Barcelona, they seem to make the Spanish national team in their camp, in general Olmo's position is very conflicting with several other players and Barcelona has it and is also still young and talented why do they prioritize Olmo when they should have brought in Nico, it seems Olmo is easier to hijack than Nico because basically Barcelona is a poor club but they try to hijack players by convincing them and in terms of payment they do it for several years of course not all clubs want to do it for them.

And actually why does Barcelona always qualify even though their finances are not good but it feels like they always take expensive players how FIFA doesn't do something for them what happens, it seems they are a poor club but have a lot of style, and if Nico reaches an agreement how will they pay him with Olmo's price which is also big and plus Nico of course they will have difficulty paying their players' salaries, I think Barcola should be confirmed first at FIFA how they work without decent money.

Glory To Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
Koopmeiners' determination to join Juventus is very strong and this decision even makes Gesperini stressed. Maybe for Gesperini he is an important player in Atalanta and he tries to keep him even though it is quite impossible. Koopmeiners is also reported not to be strengthening Atalanta when they face Real Madrid later in the super cup match and this will add to the burden borne by Gesperini if they want to win the title.

I think this is quite a detrimental effect for all parties, especially for Atalanta and Koopmeiners seems not to budge at all other than wanting to land in Turin immediately. Maybe his passion for Atalanta has decreased a lot and he no longer cares about what happens to the club.

I am quite curious whether there was a previous conflict between Koopmeiners and Atalanta until this problem became very crucial and or is there something else offered by Juventus that made Koopmeiners want to leave immediately? Huh

If we evaluate the chances in the Super Cup, then I think that the favorite here is obvious, Real will win this cup without any problems, Koopmeiners also understands this perfectly.

By the way, Gasperini says that Koopmeiners already has a contract with Juventus, so he has closed this issue for himself and Koopmeiners will no longer train and play with Atalanta. Koopmeiners is in a state of stress, so he is useless for Atalanta, I think Gasperini is right about this. Koopmeiners has long said that he wants growth, but his choice now does not look very well thought out, Atalanta finished the previous season in 4th place and lost to Juventus by only 2 points, such a choice...

Even in recent news reports it is said that he disputed during training because of his desire to go to Juventus.
This is clearly a complicated situation because Gasperini will be troubled if he continues to let Koopermeiners act up but on the other hand they will also not be able to still want Koopermeiners' services in the Atalanta midfield. They have already lost Scamacca to ACL in attack and now they must also prepare to lose Koopermeiners due to his desire to leave.
If it's still a while from the summer transfer window then it won't have a big impact but when time is running out but Atalanta are losing players without being able to find replacements then it will definitely hamper them in terms of performance.

I like this player and he was fantastic when the match Atalanta vs Leverkusen and when Liverpool personally showing their interest to him i am so glad because as Liverpool fans i feel like Teun Koopmeiners could be suitable to playing as defensive midfielder in Liverpool even i heard Liverpool will bid for him but unfortunately until now Liverpool hasn't realize it and probably this transfer only remains rumour

I think Teun Koopmeiners has showing unprofessional attitude because although he want to leave from Atalanta but he shouldn't do that and keep training with Atalanta especially this month Atalanta will playing against Real Madrid on Europa Super Cup so this team is really needed him

About his chances moved to Juventus i think this is a bit hard because Juventus didn't dare to pay according to his price tag and Juventus highest bid is only 45 million but Atalanta want 60 million but this transfer has possibility to happend if Atalanta is willing to lowering his price but until now i didn't see it happend

Gasoperini said that practically Kopermers no longer wants to be a player from Atalanta but of Juventus and that he does not even want nenache to train with them, the decision seems to me hurried but considering that in a while the championship begins I would say that it is necessary as a choice not There is more time for hei to decide therefore soon it will be a new Juventus player, he is a great purchase and I am happy

I wouldn't exaggerate the potential of this player so much, but he is undeniably very good and Barcelona did the right thing by abandoning the race for Nico in favour of Olmo. We don't know if Nico would have been able to play with Yamal the way he did at the European Championships, but Olmo is an independent player who doesn't need a strong attachment to any player.

It was very obvious that Bilbao was not keen on selling one of their best players. Nico approved of joining Barcelona. But, they U-turned. So, he had to stay in Bilbao longer. Barcelona decided to recruit Olmo from Leipzig instead of Nico from Bilbao. I know both Nico and Olmo are the priority transfers for Barcelona.
But, Barcelona can't get them all due to financial issues. So, they chose Olmo over Nico. Nico won't move to Barcelona. It will be until Barcelona agrees to Bilbao's price for Nico Williams.

Barcelona commits suicide if they still force them to recruit Olmo and Nico at the same time.

Olmo is a good player but I doubt he's going to be that great for Barcelona. This is a player that doesn't score a lot of goals. He just had a great season with Leipzig and he had just 13 goals and assists. That is not the kind of player they can rely on to lead them. There is also the fact that Olmo is injury-prone. He misses at least 20 games due to injury every season. Barcelona already has injury-prone players like Perdi in midfield and recently Frenkie De Jong has been getting injured a lot too so I don't think adding another injury-prone player is a good idea.

Olmo is an unnecessary transfer by Barcelona. This was because we have some great midfielders, and i have not what kind of position to be given by Flick for Olmo. Also, many criticized Deco as a sporting director for initiate this transfer. Barcelona has Fermin Lopez, Guendogan, and many more.
It's hard to imagine Flick will kick Lopez from his spot as a midfielder in Barcelona. There are many reasons to support the decision not to sign Olmo, but Barcelona pushes it. What a crazy decision from Barcelona.

I was quite surprised by the steps Barcelona took. They should know very well that there is not much of a budget that they can spend, and for that, they must use it wisely. No, I actually thinks otherwise here, it's true that Nico Williams is a very good player and he would be a major plus to this Barcelona team but I think that Dani olmo is a more quality player and he carries more goal threat than Nico Williams, let's not forget that Nico Williams hardly contribute more than 10 goals in a season at atletico Bilbao, so definitely his impact wouldn't be that much if he is signed into this Barcelona team, but as for Dani olmo, I think they needs his services more and he has more to offer Barcelona more than whatever Nico Williams have to offer I really do believe that.

Lastly, regardless of the financial status of Barcelona right now, they must strengthen their team in all areas, so that they can compete with the likes of real madrid and atletico madrid, so I think it's a logical step taken by Barcelona for acquiring the services of Dani olmo.

🚨🔴 Liverpool are exploring move for Martin Zubimendi as new midfielder, as there’s €60m release clause into his contract.

Talks will follow between clubs and on player side.
https://x.com/fabrizioromano/status/1821151239515595209

Let’s get this done, would be a great signing.

It is unlikely that Sociedad will let him go for less as other clubs were also interested in him, so these 60 million will be paid. Since he has a contract until the summer of 2027, it will not be possible to wait to get him for free.
I don't know how easily he will fit into Liverpool, but judging by his performance for the Spanish national team, he will succeed.
I understand this will be the first signing Slot has made? Liverpool don't seem to be active in the transfer market at the moment.
I have to say Zubimendi is a good player, and a good one if he joins Liverpool. But I think they should have invested this funds in another position. He is too similar to Alister playing as a defensive midfielder. And is he Physically up for the challenge? That Fabinho task?
I do feel he’s poor with his defensive actions. Liverpool will work very hard off the ball - Zonal marking. Tall athletic center backs capable of ground eating and duel dominance are required. Van Dijk is plummeting, Playing him as an anchor with two physical 8's will be highly needed.
Also I think if Zudimendi plays as Pivot with Mac Alister, they will have issues against fast teams capable of attacking transitions in split seconds. So one of Alister and Zubimendi with a more physical Defensive Midfielder is what will work. The new manager has to structure his midfield and defense very well to be able to withstand the pressure from opposing teams.

Marco Reus has been among the most unfortunate football players in his generation all because of his injuries woes, I guessed this is among the main reasons he decided to remain faithful to Dortmund since no matter sidelines he was out through injuries he was still love by all till now.
He is a legend already there  though it's ironic how many won't be able recognised how prolific he was using stats, I guessed this is just similar to previous legends whi suffered similar unfortunate fate sadly.
Marco Reus is a good player, he always gets playing time in the German national team when he was still productive. His loyalty to Dortmund was his choice, many other big clubs wanted to bring him in but he still chose to stay at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. It's not that Dortmund doesn't want to sell him, especially since the club is used to selling young players at high prices and then looking for replacements at much cheaper prices.

Regardless of his statistics during his time at Dortmund, he has become a legend there and the fans love him very much. A player of his class should be able to win more trophies if he joins the right club, but what Marco Reus is doing now is the same as what Totti once experienced, he preferred to be loyal to Roma rather than accept offers from other great clubs.
