Even though Juventus want the Champions League, they are not going to do crazy things on the market to get the trophy.

According to media, Khedira will leave on the following days and Higuain during the week.
Juventus is aiming in cutting salaries and extra for 120-150m €

But in Juve's case, tbh, I expected an established manager, Juve want Instant fix, they want the ucl. Pirlo has to adapt and it'll take time; I know pep and Zidane succeeded instantly, but what if Pirlo doesn't, will the club be ready to give him time, this is a gamble imo.
I think Juventus is looking to cut costs wherever possible. That is why they selected a brand new coach who will earn below €2 Million a year. Renowned managers earn €10-15 million a year. Matuidi's contract was just terminated. The same could probably happen to Khedira as well and a number of other players if they cant find suitable clubs to sell them to. I expect Higuain to be on the not wanted list as well.

I think this is probably all part of the negotiation process. Dortmund are playing hardball, it will force United’s hand eventually & they’ll structure a deal that satisfies Dortmund.

I don't think so, they are not giving them 100m€ plus he extended his contract.
Manchester now needs to find another player if they want I think he will have 0 chances of going to England in this market session.

Let's see if Manchester goes out this evening and maybe we can ear something about the market.

So the deal between Sancho and Manchester United went wrong, Manchester now can go for Douglas Costa.

I saw him making some good games in the Europa League with Olympiacos.
It is said that Liverpool was watching him for already 3 years now.
That's a great challenge for the Greek player that signs in one of the greatest clubs in the world right now.

Pirlo was a very smart player and when he decided to be a manager and got hold of Juventus youth team I knew that he would eventually move into Juventus main team, that is what teams do these days, they get their old players into youth teams and then they ask them to take control of the main team, I think same will happen to Xavi and Barcelona as well.
Some quality players have turned successful managers lately, pep and Zidane to mention a few, and I admire that clubs give their legends an opportunity to try out their managerial skills in the team they played for and loved so much. But in Juve's case, tbh, I expected an established manager, Juve want Instant fix, they want the ucl. Pirlo has to adapt and it'll take time; I know pep and Zidane succeeded instantly, but what if Pirlo doesn't, will the club be ready to give him time, this is a gamble imo.
he will do what he wants to do and you have to let him because dude is good enough to know what is right for him and what is wrong for him. And subbing him out or not playing him would be suicide for a team like Juventus.
For managers who love more of team play than individual efforts, having Ronaldo is a burden. No doubts about his quality and desire but the coaches instructions should be adhered to always. Ronaldo wants to be the star man always, even in games he's having little or no impact, and if the coach is to make a tactical change that'll see him go off, all hell will be let loose, that's lack of team desire/play imo.

However it is not that weird that Pirlo will not be able to control Ronaldo, he is the best player on that team and could still be considered one of the if not the best player in the world right now, I think there is not that many managers that could order Ronaldo around, he will do what he wants to do and you have to let him because dude is good enough to know what is right for him and what is wrong for him. Life, Love and Laughter...
This was sent to me just now...  And I couldn't stop laughing.  Cheesy

But it could be true tho.  And that's partly why I never listened to any Pep to Juve rumors.  Juve's interest on Pogba was another red flag for the Pep rumor.

Personally, I think Juve hurried with this decision, without too much analysis and thinking.

I agree with this, they were right to sack Sarri because neither results nor performances were really up to standard but putting Pirlo in his place will only make things worse.
I don't know why more and more players are given chances so early on - imagine Gerrard getting the Liverpool job now. It should not work like that, these players might be good managers in the future but putting them in top seats too early is basically killing their careers before they started.

That is because everybody is hopping to pull out a "Zidane" and get few Champions Leagues trophies quickly without long term project. Zidane is one of a kind and he was a perfect fit for that Real squad. Big stars who knew everything about the football and needed a manager who will just let them play and bring out the best in them. His best results were on player psychology and he would have probably failed in most of other clubs.

hmph..
I appreciate more on Zlatan's update news. After Pioli's renewal contract, then it's another good news by Milan extend.. sorry I mean Zlatan extends Milan's contract (lol this Zlatan's joke never gets old). Could be a big problem for Pirlo surely in next season.

Ibrahimovic brought changes to the confidence of AC Milan players. I am also happy with the contract extension for AC Milan next season. Regarding Pirlo, it's not easy for a player who has just retired to decide to manage a big team like Juventus. I think Juventus are taking a big risk by making Pirlo as their coach. If we look at Duo Inzaghi, Seedorf, Brocchi, Gattuso, all of them really look like they still need time to become great coaches. Pirlo is great as a player, but to become a coach even though in the history of the coach, there are many successful midfielders as a coach, I think Pirlo still needs experience as an assistant before becoming the main coach.

How do you guys feel about it?  And it seems to be becoming a trend, isn't it?  Solksjaer at United, untested.  Lampard at Chelsea, also untested.  I wouldn't be surprised if City suddenly decides to get Kompany.  Lolol.

Edit:  I wonder where Poch is going.  Will Barca set aside tradition and hire him?  Grin  They're desperate.

I think it's a trend sort of because the big clubs who spent a lot of money buying good managers and good players are starting to feel that maybe they need something long term instead of just temporary spending so you're right it could be that even City can go for someone. But Lampard and Solksjaer are different as well, they WANT to become managers and wanted to spend their lives at their clubs.

Poch to Barca? I'm not sure what to think of that haha.

Transfer Market news:

Valencia have expressed interest in Monaco forward Keita Balde.
Alexander Lacazette is very close to joining Atletico Madrid for 30m euro. Good news for Atletico!
Even though Juventus have expressed confidence that Cristiano Ronaldo will stay in Turin, reports from Foot Mercato claim that he is contemplating a move to PSG. Is a new sensational transfer on the horizon?
Edinson Cavani is going to Benfica?
Ivan Rakitic is not returning to Sevilla?
It's now official. Willian has left Chelsea. Is his new club Arsenal?
Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains in Milan for another year.

Yeah, saw the letter to fans on his twitter. Rumours were that he doesn't wants to leave London so it is likely that Arsenal are the one next. Reumours also points that they are in pole position to sign the Brazilian winger. It would be a great move for Arsenal if finalises.

(Source: https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11670/12045939/willian-confirms-chelsea-exit-as-he-nears-arsenal-move)

His style of play is better suited for teams like Barcelona and Arsenal [used to]. The main issue with him [especially on his last year at Arsenal] was his attitude in the field and dressing room towards teammates.

Now that you mention it, I recall about something brewing between Arsene Wenger and Sanchez then. Hope he has his attitude fixed now as he is getting old and now that he has found a team giving him chances , it's better to stay in line.
