Here’s a head scratcher for everybody?  Who’s your bet on Barca’s next manager?  The books that have this market available have Arteta as the favorite and Xavi the next.  I get Xavi but Arteta?  Why??  Cheesy
I choose Arteta to be Barcelona next manager though he claimed to be focus and fully committed to the Arsenal job but I believe it his own way of not been distracted since he's the Barca presidential choice ever since Xavi has made his stance cleared about him been the manager of the club to be a future plan.

I think Barcelona's biggest coach options are Arteta and Xavi. Especially Arteta managing a big club like Arsenal is very valuable from experience. With his experiences, he can add a new atmosphere to Barcelona. If they also transfer Haaland, we can see a team playing very well next year.

Ex-Beşiktaş star Talisca said he wants to play in Turkey again. He was rumored to join Galatasaray previous transfer windows but he said there was no official offer for him in Turkey. He's still 27 years old, he can play at top level. I guess he's bored playing at China and wants to play more challenging leagues in Europe. He may use Turkish league as a stepping stone again because it looks like there is no interest for him in Top 5 league teams right now.

I see the poll is to say who we think the next club of Haaland is. In my opinion it will be Chelsea or Man City, they have effectively unlimited funds. His Dad actually played for Man City.

"I can confirm that I was in Dortmund to hold talks," Raiola said. "Michael Zorc was very clear towards us that BVB will not sell Erling this summer. I respect his opinion, which doesn't mean automatically that I agree with it. BVB were very clear in their views. That is okay for us."

i still think that E. Haaland won't play in dortmund next season. players in his form and skills should always play in the champions league...
he can't make himself happy with the europe league Tongue

Chelsea needs to sort out their defence this season. Also, they are not really capable of attracting a player like Haaland at this point in time.

Yeah, they do have the money. They started playing well and Tuchel is a good coach - but Haaland will be looking for the best clubs in the world. Chelsea is a team full of talent but Haaland will probably go a step higher - to a club like Real or City.

If I were in Chelsea management, I'd do all I could to bring Aguero though.

Yeah Man city for real, but not Chelsea, after spending heavy over the summer, they could be ready to loosen the purse strings once again when the window reopens in January but I don’t think of Chelsea sealing that deal. Real Madrid would still want to put on some funds for his signature.

Transfer rumours:

England striker Harry Kane, 27, will push to leave Tottenham Hotspur in the summer if they fail to qualify for next season's Champions League. If that happens, where will he go?
Agent Mino Raiola is planning to make Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland, 20, the first £1m-a-week player. This could rule out a number of clubs who are interested in the Norway forward, although Manchester City and Paris St-Germain could raise the funds. Haaland and his manager are really not modest in their demands and in this time of financial crisis and falling income due to covid the question is who can or wants to give such a salary?
Atletico Madrid forward Luis Suarez has been linked with a move back to Liverpool, seven years after the Uruguay striker left the Merseyside club. Is this really possible and realistic?
Juventus and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo, 36, could join Paris St-Germain if France striker Kylian Mbappe, 22, chooses to leave for Real Madrid. Good job for Real but is it a good job for PSG as well? Can Ronaldo really be a real replacement for Mbappe?
This depends on how many weeks and what we are talking about. If we are talking about 1 million per week as in 52 million a year, that will not happen, no matter how great he is that is not an amount teams can offer a player just yet, eventually with inflation and increasing prices and income there will be definitely a player that worths 52 million a year, I am sure of that, players barely got 10 million, hell most players got like 1-2 million even if they are good players when I first started watching football, nowadays 30+ million is not news, it happens even though that is the very high end level ones.

It means one day there will be 52 million as well, but not Haaland and not yet, maybe on his next contract if he keeps playing this well. However if we are talking about 1 million per week on the weeks they play, as in not summers and breaks type of level, that would be I guess around 40 million maybe? That could be a tough challenge but it maaaaay happen, still a low chance.

PSG doesn't need money in the case Mbappè will chooses not to stay in Paris he needs to stay 1 more year.
Also, Ronaldo's contract will expire in 1 year so to me is more probable Mbappè for free next year to Real and Ronaldo for free next year to PSG.

I can't see it happening this year with covid.
Yes, the news I got is that Mbappe is rumored to be released to Real Madrid who want to build the next Los Galacticos, and to replace Mbappe, and PSG are reportedly planning to sign Ronaldo, whose situation is currently unclear with Juventus. Reportedly, because Ronaldo has not had a positive impact on Juventus, especially in the Champions League, the competition he dreams of.

I don't think that it is better to replace Mbappe with Ronaldo. I guess Ronaldo would play good there too but it wouldn't be a long-term "investment" for PSG. Keeping Mbappe would be smarter choice but I don't know whether they will manage to do that. Because we already know that Mbappe has been wanting to go to Real Madrid for a long time.

It seems to me that PSG has no choice because even though they offered him a much higher salary in Paris, Mbappe still wants to play for Real, I guess because it is a much bigger challenge for him to play in the Spanish league.
On the marketing side, it is important for PSG to replace one star with another and this is probably why they are considering the option of replacing Mbappe with Ronaldo.
On the football, sports side, PSG will get a lot less with Ronaldo and that is an obvious fact but we must not forget that football is primarily a business, especially for club owners.

Harry kane will be most likely his last season in Tottenham as their chances for qualifying for champions league next season are not so great.
I think from the team's who will fail on signing Haaland this season they will turn their direction to Harry Kane as a replacement especially the team's that playing in the Premier League like Man City United and Liverpool ,Chelsea.
I don't know what will be the financial situation for Chelsea as they spent a lot last year without much luck and I think Kane wouldn't be joining Chelsea or Liverpool unless themselves reach top4. I guess that Liverpool will want to get him if Salah decided to leave this summer and for Chelsea they can try and swap Werner for Kane so that they get woldclass striker and Spurs would have gotten a striker back and not spending lot of time looking for another solutions.

It is true that it is very likely that next season Harry Kane will leave Tottenham, because of the possibility that Tottenham will fail again to enter
the Champions League. Moreover, there are so many big Premier League teams who are interested in bringing Kane. But the ones with the most
chances of signing Kane will likely be Manchester City who are the most financially viable, and Manchester City are looking for a replacement
for Aguero too.

I can't see how these superstars players, like Kane or Haaland can change teams this year with the COVID pandemic situation and economical crisis.
I don't think we will have a huge market session, we will have only a big exchanges with fake money like Arthur-Pjanic last year.

Arteta because he was the second of Guardiola.
In other words, he should have the same idea as Guardiola and if it is true then Guardiola denied the coming back to Barca.

Haaland situation is kinda complex to some extent lol; and the poll does not need to include Barcelona at all because i believe they simply cannot afford him. According to reports the only clubs that can afford Haaland are just 3, Real Madrid, and the Manchester neighbors (Manchester city & Manchester United). Real Madrid needs a goal scoring forward to complement Benzema one touch play and mask madrid forward line bluntness; while Manchester city wants Haaland to lead the line after having wingers and forwards already available.

The race for Haaland is between Manchester City and Real Madrid; one thing for sure is that Manchester united would not sign a striker without getting a Right winger in Sancho, or a defender first. The transfer race is on
People keep talking about how it is not going to be possible for Barcelona to end up buying Haaland because they do not have the money for it but this is Barcelona we are talking about and that is why I think they can find the money if they want to. I agree with all the talks about selling some players to get Haaland if they really want him.

For example, they can sell their goalkeeper and few defenders and they will have that money anyway, and I am not talking about even all the money needed because I am sure they already have some money and just add on top of it.

However do you really want Haaland by that way? He is a great player and he would really make a big difference in any team but Barcelona is more technique and Haaland is a pure striker whereas Barcelona players with players that are a bit less pure striker but more advanced so that they can move the ball around. City is definitely the biggest chance because they even decided to send Aguero away already, so I think Haaland will go there.

Jerome Boateng could be a nice choice for Dortmund to strengthen their defense line. But if I were them, I would search for a younger and better defender. They have Akanji-Hummels duo on the back for now. There could have been a nice competition for being in the starting lineup.
